"You have to not care about the rules. I'm going to start you off easy okay, I'll give you an example so stay right here and don't move until I tell you to," he said, walking up the driveway of a nearby house.

He looked behind at a confused Seungmin before chuckling and pressing the doorbell at least seven times and knocking rapidly at least thirty times before jumping over the small rose bushes and sprinting down the drive way and past Seungmin who stared at Hyunjin's flailing movements in bewilderment, "move Seungmin," he cackled, running back over and grabbing him by the arm, pulling Seungmin along.

"Why on earth would you do that?" Seungmin gasped, getting his breath back from running so fast.

"You try, go on, you just walk up quietly and ring the doorbell or knock or both and then run off its simple okay," Hyunjin stated as he pushed Seungmin up the pavement towards the next house.

Seungmin took a deep breath, lifting his arm up and knocked, three loud steady knocks. But he forgot what he was supposed to do next, he looked over his shoulder at Hyunjin who was signalling for him to move but before Seungmin could turn around fully the door opened.

"Oh, hello dear how can I help you?" A woman probably mid thirties with a small child planted on her hip, busying itself with sucking on a rather large duplo block opened the door.

Seungmin froze for a moment before pulling his bag around and pulling out one of his school books and a pen, improvising the best that he could as he explained, "hello, I'm starting a erh- a petition to erh- stop stores from selling certain toys to children. Did you know that some toys have been manufactured using *hemp, but sometimes every now and then a leaf gets through the machines and gets cooked into the plastic material causing young infants to get high at such a young age, already starting an addiction."

(*hemp is the stem of marijuana (weed) and its used through a lot of everyday products.)

"Oh my goodness, no I didn't, that's horrible!" The lady exclaimed as she wrestled with her daughter to get the block out of her mouth.

"I sure hope I get the same reactions from the next house I go to because yours was very positive, thank you for your time miss!" Seungmin chuckled as the woman wrote down her name and signature in his book.

Seungmin walked off, biting his lip to prevent himself from laughing as he walked towards Hyunjin, doubled over and wheezing from laughter, tears spilling from his eyes.

"You're right that was fun," Seungmin snorted as he burst into laughter.

The two walked along, coming to a small soccer field, Hyunjin looked over at Seungmin then over to the small metal fence surrounding the large patch of grass, "how are you at jumping fences?" He asked curiously as he threw his backpack over the fence.

"But there's a gate just there?"

"You wanted me to teach you how to break the rules and this is technically breaking a rule. C'mon I'll go first and show you how to do it okay?" Hyunjin coaxed.

He backed up a little, hopping forward as he planted his hands on top of the fence, pushing himself up and letting his legs swing over, gracefully landing on the ground. He turned back and looked at Seungmin whose eyes were sparkling in awe, "wow I wanna do that."

So he backed up, just like Hyunjin did, he hopped forward, just like Hyunjin did, he placed his hands on the top of the metal wires, just like Hyunjin did, he pushed himself up, just like Hyunjin did and he swung his legs over, just like Hyunjin did, except it turned out differently, instead his left foot got caught on the top of the fence, his right leg getting stuck behind it and with the amount of force he used to swing his legs the momentum had caused his torso to go flying forward, sending him face first into the dirt with an elegant thud, legs trailing behind him and hitting the ground.

It was quiet for a few seconds and Seungmin thought he must've died however the loud rush of air that was being exhaled by Hyunjin, followed by the booming hysterical laughter that followed assured him that he really did just embarrass himself.

Hyunjin rushed over, eyes watering as he knelt down in front of Seungmin, "that was fucking ethereal, thank you," he wheezed, following his sentence with an abundance of applause. Seungmin groaned as he sat up, brushing dirt from his chest and ruffling his hair, turning a light shade of pink out of embarrassment.

"Oh you have dirt on on your cheek," Hyunjin giggled as he pointed on himself pretending to be a dummy of sorts, Seungmin wiped his cheek earning another giggle from Hyunjin, "nono the other cheek." After a few attempts at ridding the dirt from his face Hyunjin batted his hand away, reaching up and placing his hand along Seungmin's jaw, running his thumb along his pink cheek and wiping away the dirt. You'd think he'd pull his hand away afterwards but he didn't. More like he couldn't, the way Seungmin looked up through his eyelashes, blushing and flustered, something about that just made Hyunjin want to stay there for a while. He pulled his hand away abruptly and stood up, picking up his school bag and clearing his throat, "come on then, we have more things to do."

Rather shyly Seungmin got up, brushing more dirt from his knees as he picked up his bag and followed Hyunjin quietly. They walked along silently for a while , Seungmin pulling out his phone and deciding to message his mother considering it was almost five in the afternoon and detention ends at four.

Hyunjin came to a halt, Seungmin stopping and taking in their surroundings they were on the side of the road of a pretty secluded street, an old unused cafe in front of them. Hyunjin placed his hand on the thin layer of wood that seemed to be nailed down and pushed on it, the wood bending back, creating a big enough gap for him to slip through as he motioned for Seungmin to join him, and he did so, cautiously stepping through, the loud crunching sound of glass resonating through the empty room, "follow me," Hyunjin said as he climbed onto a chair, conveniently placed under a small man hole in the roof, pushing himself up and disappearing into the small hole, "it's okay there's no glass up here I- it's been cleaned," he said noticing the concerned look on Seungmin's face.

Seungmin shakily stood on the chair, placing his hands on the wooden banister and heaved himself upwards, climbing into what seemed to be an attic. Seungmin looked around and noticed the small mattress rested in the corner, a small hand held lamp next to it, "s-someone must live here," he whispered as he grabbed onto Hyunjins jacket sleeve, a little frightened at the thought of a scary old homeless man coming in here to see two kids and what he might do to them.

Hyunjin chuckled and looked at the old mattress, dust collecting on top of it and a few cobwebs connected to the corner from the ground, "no ones been in here for a while don't worry. This is what I wanted to show you though," he said pointing at a small door probably only wide enough to fit one person standing on their side, Hyunjin shuffled through effortlessly, Seungmin only now noticing how thin he really was, he followed behind Hyunjin and stepped out onto a small landing or otherwise known as the cafes roof. The roof was high enough to see over the small forest opposite the road yet low enough that Seungmin could probably jump off and still land on two feet. He looked up at the sky, features softening at the picture, the sun had started setting, turning the soft blue to a peachy orange with a stunning red hue, clouds of all different shades of pink and purple scattered here and there making the view look like a truly beautiful masterpiece, painted by the worlds most talented artist, "wow, how'd you find this place?" He asked, turning back around to see Hyunjin quickly rubbing his eyes.

"An old friend of mine," he replied quietly. A silence fell over the two of them, not an awkward or an eerie silence but a comfortable silence, one where you know that if you speak you may ruin such a sentimental or serene moment or by talking something valuable may slip from your hands and you'll never be able to grasp it again. That was what this felt like. But it was like this one sunset, out of the million others that Seungmin would experience, felt the most precious, it gave him a feeling that he'd never quite felt before and he didn't really understand what it was but it made him want to treasure this feeling forever, so they stayed silent as they watched the sun dip behind the trees and away for the night, the moon taking its place on the opposite side and turning the sky a deep ocean blue.

The two made their way down from the roof and back out through the wooden sheet and as if on cue Hyunjin's phone started ringing from his back pocket, pulling it out and checking the caller ID he answered shakily, "y-yes?"

"I'm s-sorry, I'll be home soon."

"In a few minutes I swear," he flinched, even Seungmin heard the loud shout echoing from the small device.

Hanging up and slipping the phone into his pocket, Hyunjin swallowed thickly, "I'm sorry Seungmin I have to go my- I'm needed at home. Can you get home from here?" He asked nervously.

Seungmin nodded and waved to Hyunjin as he ran off down the street, shrugging off his weird behaviour and making his way towards Jisung's, checking to see if he'd seen the message. He hadn't but that's okay he was welcome there anywhere.
