Detention Essay #5764 - why you should not play "hide and seek" around the grounds
By Remus Lupin
Honestly Professor, I checked every school rule (some are really unnecessary by the way, and some are just plain stupid. I mean what is the purpose of a rule that forbids riding muggle bikes around the grounds if no one owns one anyway?) and there wasn't a rule saying no playing hide and seek or any other fun games around the grounds, therefore it is perfectly acceptable. Also, expect three identical Essays on this topic because Prongs and Padfoot were also helping research rules and also know that it is allowed. So ha. Can't get around that one now can you? By the way, I need a new copy of the transfiguration homework since Sirius kinda er- ate

Detention Essay #5765 - why you should not play "hide and seek" around the grounds
By James Potter
So Basically, me, Padfoot and Moony figured out that it's not forbidden to play hide and seek on the grounds since we researched all the long and boring school rules. I mean seriously, Minnie? How many rules does one school need? Surely not as many as there are. Most of then are pretty stupid as well if you don't mind me saying, which I'm hoping you don't. I came across one saying It is Forbidden to ride a flying motorbike through the corridors. Who the hell owns one apart from Sirius? Oh. That was probably written because of that wasn't it. That just makes me wonder, how many rules are there that were made because of Me, Moony, Padfoot and Wormtail? Sheesh. Must be thousands. Anyway, I'd like to see what you do about this, Mins, because we will do it again as I'm sure you've gathered by now since it is officially ALLOWED.
Yours truly, James Potter
Comments: I've just read Mr Lupin's essay and the same could be said for yours. I will be speaking to The Headmaster about this matter.
Detention Essay #5766 - why you should not play "hide and seek" around the grounds
By Sirius Black
sO basically Min-mins, this whole thing is pointless therefore I will write as little as possible. We read through all the boring and never ending rules and it turns out you are wrong, as much as it probably hurts you to read that. There was no rule saying against it and can I just say, I did not deserve that "A" on my transfiguration test because I TOTALLY ACED IT! I EVEN GOT REMUS TO HELP ME WITH IT AND HE SAID IT WAS CORRECT, AND I DON'T SEE HIM GETTING ANYTHING BELOW "EE"!
