"Oh no! It can't be possible" That was the last thing that I heard from him before he slumped down beside me and started cursing".

"What happened?" I asked quickly as I caught him and let him sit on the floor which was miraculously clean apart from the blood coming out of the guy I knocked out first. (For reader's sake, I'll just call him Bad Guy#1).

"This brooch is from the criminal organization Black Star"

"Black Star" I said. "Why does that name sound familiar"

"You shouldn't even recognise the name, Princess" He said with a smirk.

'What!!! Who does he think he is calling Princess?! How did I even get the name Princess of all names? I mean, he could have called me Ari like everyone else or even a cool name like Wonder Woman. I know it's cheesy, in fact why am I thinking about this now? I'll love to tell him off right now but he went back to serious mode and I really didn't wanna piss him off now.'

"So what are we gonna do now"

"Now we wait unt..."

"WAIT?!!! You seriously want us to wait?! For what, Do you think a 'Everything-is-alright' train with annoying bratty fairies will come and make things right?!"

He smirked for a while before saying "Firstly, I was about to say something before you came saying all this. Secondly, do you know you look cute when you are angry?"

'Is this guy in his right senses or what. It looks like I need to get a baseball bat to whack all the charming out of him, But he does have a point as even I knew I blushed for a split second before I became serious'

"Seriously, just spit what you want to say out" I said angrily.

"Thank you. I wanted to say until daybreak comes into view"

I wanted to slap him there and then but he looked like he was expecting an answer, so I told him;

"Are we actually gonna like camp here or something because I know for a fact that those guys went upstairs so that's enough information to go and bust them"

He looked at me as if he was about to burst into laughter due to the situation he kept shut and told me;

"That's crazy, If we go there now, what are the odds that we won't be surprised with reinforcements. Besides it would be a big number : 2 ratio and that's signing a death warrant if these guys are like Mr. Broken Nose over there"

"Fine, We'll think of something else"

"Good."

He gave me another of his useless smirks and this time I couldn't hold it. I gave him a hard glare and threatened him saying;

"If you ever, ever, ever in your life give me one of those useless 20 cent smirks that make little naive girls fall for you and think you're actually worth something, I will hit your head on the wall countless times that you'll end up worse than Broken Nose over there"

He nodded quickly and we made our way, brainstorming ideas.

Then I asked him a question that was bugging me since I first met him

"Why were you in line for the forms at the entrance where I bumped onto you?"

He looked at me seriously and tried to low it off with a smile but I stared him back and he gave up.

"Fine, I wanted to become an elite force agent since I was 5 years old. I always looked at them at work when I was with my dad on his trips"

"Aww... That's so cute"

"No, it's not"

"Yes it is"

"No it's not. I guess I didn't want to live the upstairs rich life."

Suddenly it hit me

"Upstairs, upstairs, those guys went upstairs, right?"

"Yes, why'd you ask"

"Today is the day we get, or rather supposed to get tested right, and... and... an"

"What's wrong?"

"Oh my gosh, we are such idiots. The commotion, The dead receptionist, The guy in black, It all makes sense now. These guys were trying to create a scene"

I walked to the sitting area where I was before and saw three bodies including the lady that I accidentally shoved. She had an intricate black star carved on her forehead. I glanced at each other as we both realised at the same time that someone in a position of power was in danger on the top floor. He looked at the lady's head and his face was twisted in both worry and anger. Before he sat on the floor, Damien said;

"He's back"
