She was happy
Yet her face shown the opposite
She was delighted
Yet she wanted to get out from reality
She was thrilled
Yet she wanted the feeling to stop

She would be ecstatic 
But could you please stop with the game
Of running and pretending
Did you know that she knew?
Yet you keep continuing to hurt
And to lie
To break
And to press
The truth inside of her

Did you know that she was happy?
When messages from you popped up on her screen
Yet you keep asking her
About her heart
And her past
Which she held close
And dear to her heart
She tried to converse
Of different topics from their life
Yet she was ignored
Still
You asked her the same things all over again

Denying was what she called secrets
Ignoring was what she called stop
To the never-ending phase of breaking each hearts
She would rather be alone
Than to be in a hurtful relationship
Hence she bluffed
Sometimes the truth is better not to be told
For they had broken thousands of hearts
And so she said
