chapter two.

"Follow me." Once the warm voice with kind smile flew away, now I was meet with broad back, robe without wrinkles. It was perfect. He was perfect. His manner was hastily, he was taking long steps but maybe that was just because of the long limbs he had.

"This is your dormitory, try not to forget it." He said in a annoyed voice before he disappeared. He was like a ghost, his footsteps didn't ring and his breathing didn't flow, he was dead but alive with the warmth flowing of him and the rising of his chest.

I knocked on the heavy door, it was swung open immediately and there she was, tall girl with black hair like ravens feathers and brown eyes like wood logs.

"She is here girls." She said, her loud and clear voice surprised me. "Hello!" Another girl welcomed me, she was smaller and in every aspect different from the first one, she has this beautiful blond hair and bright blue eyes. She shined in the room immediately telling me that she is in fact the person that connects everybody.

"I'm Drvella Hognors, this is Walburga Black and Druella Rosier, you must be Myra Rowe!" She exclaimed while pointing at the girls, the one that opened the door was Walburga, the one sitting on the bed was Druella.

Druella Rosier. Mother of Bellatrix Lestrange, aunt of Draco Malfoy. The most loyal death eater of Voldemort.

"I am so pleased to be here and share a room with you girls!" I said happily, Walburga was smiling brightly with open arms while two girls behind were giving me kind glances. While looking at Walburga a thought struck me, something about her name and last name was punching me. Her brown eyes were looking right through me and I have experience that look once before, only once. She is Sirius Blacks mother, the man of great value to Harry, his godfather.

"We couldn't wait to meet you, we were just yesterday informed that we will get another roommate!" Walburga exclaimed, maybe they are not so bad as the storys tell.

The bed was ready for me, along with fresh sheets, new robe sat on the nightstand along with the trunk of clothes that were not mine.

The girls were very fond of me from the start, asking me all sorts of questions, from if I were a pure blood to where I live. My parents aren't pure bloods and every much not alive. That made me look out of the window thinking if I will ever see them again. But I put grief on other side of the room and smiled along with my new roommates, lying to them about my heritage and everything else.

When we were done talking I had this feeling like I knew them for years, if you asked me to name each of their favorite colours I could, to name except spot where Drvella had dimples, I could. They told me everything, from their personal life to the ways of cheating on tests, how to sneak around castle at night and which boys were the most handsome.

"Abraxas takes the first place for me." Said Drvella but Walburga and Druella looked at her like she is mad. "You forgot somebody!" They said while looking at her, but she couldn't think of anybody else besides Abraxas Malfoy. "Tom Riddle, you idiot." They loudly exclaimed in union and Drvella hit herself on the forehead. "Tom is one of the best, if not the best students in this school and every girl is head over heels for him, but don't fall in love with him, he doesn't notice anybody out of his friend group."

If Tom Riddle truly didn't find anybody amusing, let alone girls that were head over heels for him, how am I going to get his attention? I need to give him something of value, something that he can use and can't get anywhere else.

"I think we should go to sleep, tomorrow we will show you around the castle, it can be tricky sometimes to find your way to classes." Druella said while taking off her clothes and putting on a nightgown. I looked down, not wanting to look at the girls who are now undressed. Once they were all dressed I went into a small lavatory that was connected with our room and got into my own sleeping gown. As I returned they were all fast asleep something I couldn't do.

The bed was comforting, it felt like the same one I had in Ravenclaw room. My body was sucked in to it allowing my thoughts to wander around, but they always came to him, Tom. I listed everything I knew of him, from the power he helds to the greed he wants and in the end I came to a conclusion that we had a lot of similar trails something that could help me with getting closer to him.

Only one thing was not similar about us, I can and always have gotten my way without killing anybody.

Next morning came quick and I was always fond of mornings. The big trunk had a lot of things in it, most of them were of no value to me but maybe I'll need them in the future. There were books and my wand. Taking it out I found it to be not even a bit similar to the one I had before. When the low mumbling from the three girls started I slowly closed the trunk and stood back up. As expected they were not a morning person, they whined the whole time while getting ready, sometimes even jumping back to their beds only for couple of minutes.

We walked towards the Great Hall, the halls and the way to it was the same. The lit candles were in the ceiling just as the windows were being set open by the invisible hands. The Slytherin table was quite unlike Gryffindors who shined with energy early in the morning. I tried to observe everyone and everything but that was an impossible thing to do as students left and came from all sides, but one stayed still for the whole time. Tom Riddle was sitting next to a platinum haired boy that had a mischievous look in his eyes.

He was reading a black book with gold highlights, only if I could read what it says. "Look who's already interested in the perfect boy." Walburga teased and I rolled my eyes at her. I slightly shaked my head a small no "I'm just trying to see what's so special about him." Maybe it was because of his perfect hair, his green eyes or his mysterious behaviour itself.

He was extremely attractive, if anybody said otherwise they would be lying.

Our first class was potions that we shared with Gryffindors. Once we walked inside the dark room that smelled of herbs I saw the silhouette of a chunky man. Professor Slughorn had his famous beige robe on that probably wasn't washed from the day he got it. His famous club was a must at Hogwarts, if you went you everybody thinked of you as "cool". Do they use this word even now?

We took our spots. I sat next to Durella while Walburga and Drvella were next to us. Something tells me we will become very attached to one another and I'm not going to complain about that. Having friends is as good as having enemies. While taking a glimps of other students I found out that Tom and one of his friends sat behind us, writing down what Professor was trying to explain.

The class was boring as it is always when we have Slughorn, my only occupation was looking at the Gryffindor girl that not so smoothly took glances at Riddle. Her face was so familiar to me, but I couldn't think of her name until seeing her eyes. To my luck the girl that was checking Tom Riddle himself was Minerva McGonagall, my in future transfiguration professor.

The rest of the day was only introduction, nothing particularly interesting happened. Riddle was always up front while I stayed in the back observing each one of his moves. While doing so I heard an important piece of information. Every night Tom goes in common room and today I'm going to try to talk to him. As I waited in our dormitory to hit nine o'clock Walburga was getting ready for sleep while my protest for it was the need to do homework.

Only mad people would do their homework this late at night but I needed to talk to him.

Once the clock hit nine I was out of the room with my charms homework in my hands. As I was walking down the stairs I could see a soft glow of light coming from downstairs and as I got down there I saw him sitting on one of the sofas reading a book by the fireplace. You wouldn't think that this boy with a peaceful look on his face reading a book by the fireplace is going to become one of the most feared wizards in history of magic.

His face gave nothing away but I was sure that his thoughts were far from peaceful.

Loudly putting down my things got his attention. His head was up in no time looking for the distractive noise that I made, but he almost immediately went back to reading his book.

Me doing my homework and him reading took us so long that once I looked at the clock that hung over the fireplace it read 12.

My time was running up and I didn't know how to approach him. Should I go up to him? He will probably not even take one glanc at me. Should I break something to get his attention?

Or maybe...I got up and went to pick up an old book I had. Thank Merlin that I saw it in the trunk this morning and thanks to Dumbledore for putting it in. It read : Dark Magic of Wonders. My parents gave me this book, well I took it from them as they were aurors and needed to know this.

Once I put the old book on the table it caught his attention right away, I knew it.

But never in a million years would I thought that he would get up and stand in front of me. "Where did you get this book?" He asked with somewhat a light voice. I looked up and he was looking in my eyes. I tilted my head, my heart racing. I was sitting in front of Voldemort, the man who will kill more then hundreds of people.

I cleared my throat. I was staring for too long. "From my grandfather." It was kind of true, my father got it from him, my grandfather was the one that had to work on the Grindelwald case. He was an auror too.

"And how did you grandfather get it?" He was wanting it for himself, this book possessed some very tricky and deathly magic, and if I give it to him, he will juse it against others.

"He is an auror" as I said that, Tom lips turned into a smirk, now his hands went behind his back, he was observing me. "Miss. Rowe if I'm correct, can I borrow this book for a day or so?" I had him right were I wanted him.

Now I looked back up at him with my brows furrowed.

"I'm sorry but I can't give it to you." In a sweet voice and with big eyes I looked up at him. Until my lips turned in to a side smile, "But you could read it when I'm next to it. I don't want you to lose it."

"Tomorrow, here at the same time you came today, don't forget to bring the book."

In that very moment, an urge of adrenaline shot in me. My thoughts were wild, so I thought ; maybe I can do it. Maybe I can save the magical world and the boy.

Oh how terribly mistaken was I.
