Morning came, and Jaune was already awake, ate, showered, and got dressed in his usual attire.

He looked himself in the mirror and said,

Jaune:Alright. Time to go.

Then he made an Aurora Curtain appear then he walked through it and it was gone.

A second later, the Aurora Curtain appeared in the middle of a yard which surprised a lot of newcomers, then out came Jaune.

As the Curtain disappeared, he ignored the shocked looks from others while he is looking ahead at the castle before him.

Beacon Academy.

He was... unimpressed. But, it wasn't run down like the others he has seen, so that was a good sign. ...Or something.

He began walking with his hands in his pockets and then heard a sound, then saw the same red reaper from that night.

Then he saw this.

Jaune deadpanned at the whole thing.

Jaune:Wow. Just wow.

He walked passed the reaper, his eyes rolled and he thought,

Jaune:You can fight bad guys but you would let a spoiled brat mock, belittle and berate you? Take about lame.

He shook his head utterly disappointed in her.

However, if he had stuck around a bit longer, he would have seen an armored blonde girl walk to the red reaper and help her up.

Much later, he was in the amphitheater, standing in the back behind the crowd and just playing games on his cellphone.

Then he paused the game when he saw two women got on top of the stage.

The first one he instantly recognized as she helped that reaper girl. And the next one is the Headmistress of the school.

Glynda Goodwitch.

Jayde Ozpin.

Then Ozpin went to the microphone and spoke.

(Stop at 0:45.)

After Ozpin made her speech and Glynda advised all of the new applicants where to go to rest, Jaune stared at them with a raised eyebrow.

Jaune:That was a rather... interesting speech.

Then he unpasued and continued playing the game.

However a girl watched him from afar. A red haired gladiator girl.

Gladiator Girl:....

She was one of the many people that saw him walk out from the Curtain. And the moment that she saw him, she was very curious and interested about him.

Gladiator Girl:Hmm... I wonder...

Then she walked away.

Later at night, all of the newcomers were in the ballroom. Some were already asleep, some were in groups talking with each other, and the rest were by themselves just doing whatever they thought about doing.

As for Jaune... he was not here.

He was back at his home sleeping peacefully in his bed.

Of course he would. No way he was sleeping on the floor.

And he wasn't interested in listening to any potential noise from the others.

And he was right.

Because right now, Weiss was arguing with the Reaper Girl & a blonde girl while a black hair girl was watching this in irritation as she couldn't read her book in peace.

Then she reached for the candle next to her and blew it out, hoping to get some sleep.
