Tw: attempted murder

ATHAZAGORAPHOBIA - the fear of being forgotten or ignored or being replaced.
If a word could describe Lylah it would be that. She always felt like she was replaced with Scott McCall her brothers best friend or Malia Tate her brother's girlfriend.
It seemed no matter the place or time Stiles -Lylahs brother had always made time for Malia and Scott but never for Lylah.
Maybe she was being paranoid or just completely out of her mind but as the weeks flew by and the months passed Lylah rarely spent time with her own brother.
They aren't blood related siblings Stiles father was Noah Stillinki a wonderful father who loved his children deeply and Lylahs father gave her up when she was just a baby.
The two always called eachother siblings and had fights like siblings do but deep down their was an pain in her heart knowing that they weren't blood siblings or even related to eachother she would get remind of that on a daily by herself.
After Stiles got possessed a few months back he drifted away from his sister but not from everybody else.
The pain of knowing that he almost killed his little sister ached in his heart. Some days he would wake up in sweat from nightmares of that night. In the mornings when he would see Lylah downstairs eating breakfast he could barely even look at her knowing that pain that he was caused her.
Stiles was currently in Mexico looking for Derek Hale with the others while Lylah stayed back for some dumb reason.
She had been begging Stiles and Scott to let her come with them to Mexico but of course they said no. To her it didn't make any sense on how Stiles go to go and Lylah didn't considering that one had powers and the other one didn't.
They came up with an excuse saying how she was too young and that they didn't want her to get hurt.
That was a thing that Lylah hated being told she hated when people looked down on her and hated when people left her out on stuff.
She only wanted to go because she wanted to see if Derek was okay.
Derek seemed to be one out of the few who truly cared for Lylah even though the two got off on a rocky start with Derek's uncle Peter biting Lylah but Derek cared for Lylah and all the blonde wanted to know if he was okay.
She knew that someone was going to text her letting her know if Derek was okay or not but she was very impatient and the Stillinki girl hated the feeling of wondering if someone was dead or not especially with someone who she cares for.
Lylah was wondering if she should go to sleep or not knowing that tomorrow she had school but she decided against it.
Lylah Stillinki layed on her bed with her wired earphones plugged into her ears blasting her music while her dad was a few rooms across from her sleeping peacefully.
Lylah stared up at her blank white ceiling just thinking about anything really. Sometimes in the middle of the night her mind would drift off to the bad parts of her life. Lylah didn't know why she was like this she didn't know why she would remind herself that she wasn't Stiles real sister or why she would always think about bad things or why she hated the feeling of being alone or forgotten even though the world doesn't revolve around her and people had their own life and their own priorities and maybe Lylah just wasn't one of those priorities.
Izzy greenie was Lylahs best friend since second grade she always stood by Lylahs side when she needed it.
Lylah wouldn't know what to do without Izzy at this point she was the only person keeping her sane and alive.
Lylah ranted to Izzy about everything and after Izzy found out about supernatural creatures living amongst them the ranting sessions got even longer as the problems increased.
The most person that was talked about in there conversations was Walker Andrews.
Lylah absolutely despised him for multiple and good reasons. In second grade Lylah sat infront of Walker and on the first day of school he had decided to put a piece of gum high up in her hair so that she had to cut that stand of hair making her hair look uneven.
All of the older grade kids bullied her for her hair including Walker himself. Since then every year she would get put into the same classes as him and he would make it is job to torment Lylah every year.
When Lylah had told her dad about Walker he kept on saying that he likes you and that there was nothing more to it but there was more to it Lylah just didn't know what.
A few weeks after Lylah got bitten Walkers 'torment' became worse and there was nothing Lylah could do about it since she rarely had gotten to use her powers and was told not to use it casue if she did their would be consequences to deal with.
Lylah didn't know what Deaton had ment when he said that and apart of her didn't want to know. It was only sometimes when she used her powers like for serious occasions or whenever she was bored out of her mind.
A vibration from her phone made her snap out of her thoughts and sit up straight.
Lylah looked at her home screen to see a text from a random number she had pulled her earphones out from her ears and unlocked her phone to read the full message.
The message was from Walker saying on how he wanted to meet up with her so he could apologize in person.
Lylah didn't know why he wanted to do it at this time and she also didn't know how he got her number since she knew that Izzy wouldn't dare to give out her number to someone like him.
Lylah debated on wether or not she should meet up with him concerning it was late and she was waiting for a text message confirming Derek's safety.
Since she had nothing better to do and was hoping to past the time Lylah decided to take up his offer and meet up with him.
There was another message from Walker he had sent his location for the place to meet up at. Lylah put on her pair of black doc martens and a black hoodie and quietly went down the stairs.
Her dad was a heavy sleeper and he couldn't be waken up easily which she was grateful for in moments like theses.
Since Lylah didn't have her drivers licenses she couldn't really drive anywhere and Stiles rarely drove her to places since they began to get distant from eachother. So Lylah biked there which was kinda far away from her house but she want bothered.
By the time she had arrived at the building her anxiety had increased just by looking at the old building as far as she could tell it was abandoned.
Lylah was regretting her decision to come here but she couldn't go back since she had told Walker that she would meet up with him.
Lylah had set her bike down beside the entrance of the building before walking up the steps and then pushing open the creaky door open before stepping inside.
She didn't see anyone which made her bear pound even faster getting reminded on how this is how dumb blondes get killed in a horror movie.
"Hello?" Lylahs voice echoed through the building she knew that something was up but she couldn't quite figure out what.
Lylah pulled out her phone out from her back pocket and had sent Izzy her location just in case of anything had happened to her aleast someone would know where she was.
After a moment of silence she thought that Walker was just messing around with her so when she turned around to walk out she saw Walker standing there.
Lylah jumped back a little bit due to surprise she hadn't really expected for him to show up but he did.
"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you" Walker said this had to be the only times that Walker had actually talked to Lylah without sarcasm or throwing insults at her.
"It's fine" Lylah laughed nervously.
Walkers smile faded away in a instant it was like Lylah had just confessed to killing his dog or something.
"Your really that dumb aren't you?" Lylahs furrowed her eyebrows at Walker not knowing what he was talking about.
"Wha—" Lylah didn't get to finsh her word when all of the sudden she was thrown to the ground.
Lylah didn't have time to comprehend on what was going on when Walker had pulled a syringe out from his back pocket.
Lylah didn't want to figure out what was in that syringe and what it could do to her. Lylah quickly got up from the ground and ran towards her left since Walker was blocking the entrance towards the building.
She tried to find a back door to the abandoned building but she didn't have much time to look around with Walker following her.
Lylah had used her powers to move a table forward infront of Walkers path to hopefully slow him down but what Lylah didn't notice was that he wasn't behind her and by the time Lylah had turned a corner Walker was already standing there with the syringe in his right hand.
Before Lylah had the chance to react Walker had already stuck the needle into her neck.
At first Lylah felt nothing she had thought that whatever was in the needle didn't work but that's when she felt her entire body ache in pain.
It was as if she had bad cramps but in every place in her body. Lylah fell down onto the ground clutching her body while Walker crouched down beside Lylah.
"This is the part where your body begins to ache in pain and then it would feel like your body's on fire before you can't feel anything and you go numb"
Lylah didn't know what to do at this point she was scared for her life Lylah didn't even know what she did to Walker.
Lylah didn't want to die knowing that her and her brother will never work out things or find out what went wrong. She deeply loved her brother and wouldn't know what she do without him. Yes sometimes he could be annoying and overprotective but she got over that stuff and all Lylah wanted to do was actually have a conversation with her brother.
Her legs started to burn up like Walker said it would and the burning pain reached to her chest. Tears fell from the corners of her eyes as she layed her head back onto the ground taking in deep breaths.
She couldn't do anything with her powers related since she was too focused on the pain in her body and she didn't have the strength to do something ether.
Walker stood up from the ground with a smirk on his face and that's when Lylah knew that Walker wanted to kill her for some unknown reason.
All of a sudden there was a bang! sound and Walker fell beside Lylah unconscious.
There stood Izzy with a bat in her hands who had just swung that bat across Walkers head.
She instantly drop the bat and went down on her knees to check if Lylah was okay. "What happened? Are you okay?" Izzy asked tucking her hair behind her ears.
"I can't—" Lylah choked out a sob it felt like she couldn't breath. Izzy gently placed Lylahs head onto her lap "Do you want me to call Deaton?" Izzy asked worriedly ready to dial the man's phone number.
In a instant Lylah shook her head no. She knew if she went to Deatons he would alert the others and they needed to find Derek they couldn't have an distractions in there way.
"Are you sure he can help you—" Lylah cut Izzy off she didn't know what would happen after her body became numb she didn't know if she would die or not or if Walker had a plan to kill Lylah off himself after her body became numb.
"He'll just tell the others about this they need to find Derek" Lylah was dead set on her decision and no one not even her best friend was going to change her mind.
