Ragini's POV:

I needed some space... some peace of mind...and my roses were the ones who gave me peace of my mind... although now they no longer resided inside my house...

My house???
I smiled to myself pitying my own self...
His house!!!
Yes!!!
His house!!!

Moonlight was making the little drops of water shine upon my little roses and I kissed it tenderly while a drop of tear escaped my eyes...I simply recalled what happened in the office...

Few hours ago...

I kept looking at Siddhu who stood there silently and I was getting irritated. How could he just say it to this random girl...
But the next minute she came to me and said...
'Im glad we met Ragini...I was always curious to know who was this girl who created a ruckus in my Sid's life..I mean great job you made Sid eat fish and almost choked him to death' she said giggling like it was some funny joke.

It hurt!!!

'I ...I am sorry...I ....I.... didn't know he would eat' I tried to form words while I felt Siddhu's hands holding my hands tightly and nodding a no...but I was already feeling out of place...while she added...

'Heyyy chill Ragini...I was just kidding...I mean I know you definitely didn't do it on purpose I was just finding it interesting the way you annoyed him for so many months...and there I was feeling insecure in Australia thinking what if my Sid finally would settle down with someone... although he always kept it clear that you hated him' she said and my teary eyes met Siddhu's who simply looked elsewhere...

She added some more...
'Im only relieved that I still hold a chance with Sid...' she giggled and I looked at her  in a state of shock and then looked at Siddhu ...who pressed his forehead saying...

'Sona please ..we have had this discussion before..we are not starting this again..are we' he sounded angry and irritated...

'But I wasn't here... what is the discussion about?' I asked while Siddhu looked at me saying...
'Its nothing important...you go home...I and Sona will join you for dinner' he said and now I looked at him in disbelief...

'She is staying at our place?' I asked and again his pet labrador...oops his 'bestie' replied ...
'Well yea...lucky me my house is getting renovated...so I'm staying with Siddhu' she said clutching onto his forearm and I wanted to chop each finger of hers and feed it to vultures!!!

I closed my eyes and asked...
'What is the discussion about?... what chance was she speaking about Siddhu?' I asked once and for all and I saw Siddhu getting irritated and he said...

'Listen Ragini...this is not important...you don't need to get into unnecessary discussions here...this is our office and we don't discuss these meaningless topics here...' he shouted and I had more tears prick my eyes while the lady next to him attempted to jump in but he stopped her saying...

'Stop Sona ..we were discussing about the book app launch and I think we better discuss work rather than useless topics...and Ragini please go home...we will see you at dinner...' and I kept looking at him and walked out of the cabin.

Fresh drops of tears fell off my eyes when I heard 'Ragini' and I turned around to see Malini, Tia and Bill standing there...they looked at me with curiousity...

'Its dinner time and what are you still doing here?' she asked and i averted my gaze and replied...

'Well then you all must go for dinner...after all you all have a very important guest...oh...no...not guest...seems like someone very close...has come back home right?' I said and Malini narrowed her eyebrows...

She looked at Bill and he nodded. Bill took Tia with him and silently left from there...I stood silently caressing my roses...while Malini side hugged me saying...'Come with me' and we both settled on the grass in backyard...

I kept looking at the moon while fidgeting the loose end of my scarf and she asked

'Are you worried about Sona?' and I stopped playing with scarf and looked at Malini...she looked at me for a few minutes and smiled...

'Sona is Sidzy's bestie... they became friends when they did their MBA together. Sona belongs to one of the royal families in Rajasthan...her parents died in a car accident when she was pursuing her MBA here and Sidzy became her back bone. He stood by her through every thick and thin and that's how their friendship intensified. As years passed Sona started taking care of Sidzy and even became an investor in his business...after a certain span of time she even became his business partner. Sona doesn't have anyone now except Sidzy...the only family she had was her grandmother who expired 2.5 years ago...Sidzy organised everything here in Kennington to make sure her body was took back to India to perform the last rites.

That was the time Sona became very close to Sidzy. She ended up proposing him' she said and my eyes filled with fresh tears. But I tried to hide them.

'But Sidzy said a NO!!!' she said and I shot her a look and she smiled.
'And I'm sure you me...we all know why he said No... Right Ragini?' she asked and I was left tongue tied.

'But Sona didn't give up on Sidzy. Not once...He kept saying a no but she kept approaching in new new ways but Sona never behaved like a creep. She always kept her dignity up and high. She is one of the most respected businesswoman in Kennington and now in Australia as well. Inspite of being so talented and beautiful she is still stuck on to Sidzy...it's been 2.5 years and she keeps proposing to him every time she comes back to London and listens a 'No' from Sidzy and leaves. So....
It's simple...
You don't have to feel insecure from Sona... she's not a vamp in your story nor a witch...

She is yet another girl who fell for our simple Siddhu..but little did she know our Siddhu is already taken' she said holding my hand and pointing towards my engagement ring and the 'S' shined brightly in the moonlight.

I kept looking at the ring while Malini suddenly asked me...
'Ragini...I know...I know the Rohit incident must have shaken you from within but I always felt you never loved him...I mean sure I hadn't seen your bond with him but what I heard off from Mukund Bhavaji..I knew for sure he wasnt the one for you...

So...

Ummmm... do you still love Sidzy do you think you want to give a chance to your marriage?' she asked and I felt my heartbeats rising...

My lips quivered while she held my hands tightly and said...
'Look Ragini...he is your fiance and also your husband on papers but if you both have to continue with this marriage there must be a driving factor right???
And if that doesn't exist then there is no point of dragging a dead relationship' she said and I was left stumped.

She kept waiting for my answer but nothing came out of my mouth while she smiled and said...
'Think over it Ragini...and take a step...you can't leave relationships dangling meeting no ends!!!
Everything needs its own edge!!!' and I kept looking at her...

She was about to leave while I quickly asked...
'And if I had to ask the same question to Siddhu? Does he want to give this marriage a chance?' and Malini turned around and she had a wide smile on her lips...

Giggling to herself she said...
'Well...nice...why dont you ask him that one...ummmm... directly... face to face... what say?' and I made scowling face and told her...

'And what about that 'bestie' of his? She sticks to him like a lizard sticking on to wall' I said and Malini laughed loudly...

'Oh God...you are so cute Ragini...Welllll that's upto you...if you think you have to talk to Sidzy then approach him...reach him out ..talk to him... claim your man baby' she said and I pouted thinking she was right!!!

I pulled her hand and looked at the watch tied onto her hand and saw it was 9pm...

'Has he and Miss Bestie come home?' and she chuckled saying...
'Yup...he is showing her...her bedroom' and my eyes popped out listening to he...her and bedroom!!!

No way in hell!!!

I quickly ran from there and rushed towards the staircase. Natalie kept calling me but everything could wait not this!

I rushed to the room and pushed the door open and I saw they both were looking into some book and laughing their asses off!!!

Her hand was on Siddhu's shoulder and I  fisted my fingers. I called out...
'Siddhu...' and he turned around. His laughter stopped.

'Ragini...what happened?' I asked and my eyes fell on their dinner plates.

'Are you going to eat here??? Did you forget there are other important people in this house too?' I asked and he opened his mouth to explain but I added...

'You are eating your dinner with everyone... downstairs and your guest Rona can also join us' I added looking elsewhere...

'Its Sona' she corrected and I said...
'Yup... whichever 'Na' ... and Siddhu can we go to 'our' bedroom I need to talk to you something' I said emphasizing the 'our' a little too loud and Siddhu's eyes popped out.

He didn't move an inch while this time I walked up to him and dragged him via his wrist and pulled him along with me and walked into his bedroom.

Malini kept smiling at me while I saw everybody else's mouth was wide open. He was shocked beyond words but I didn't care anymore

Dragging him into his room I slammed the door with a thud and I saw Sona's jaws hanging to hit the ground and Siddhu opened and closed his mouth like a fish multiple times...I bolted the door of the room.

I walked closer to him and saw his adam's apple swallow a lump. In one go I held his shoulders tightly and pushed him against the door and pinned him to it. He was tall and muscular but I still managed to cage him under my frame

His eyes widened in shock and I was breathing into his face. In the verge of caging him...my body was plastered to his leaving no gap between us and I looked up to meet his face.

His breath hitched. Moving closer to his face my hot breath was hitting his chest...he was too tall for me I raised my head up to look into his eyes and he bent to look into mine...

'I want to ask you something important...right here right now!!!' I said while my eyes kept gauging his eyes and lips and he probably realised my gaze and swallowed nervously.

I pressed myself more into him while he muttered a meek...
'Raaaa....Rag... Ragini...' while his ears went pink

And my lips curved seeing him blush...
Why is he so cute??? Can I eat him up please!!!
