(Serena)

My name is Serena Yvonne just an average girl I am 15 years old,  who just wants to fit in. I live in Kalos in Vaniville town.  I have a very hard time doing so. I have never been in love never had a boyfriend. I am in grade 10 already, the year is half over. The name of the school I go to is XYZ high. I am cute with long honey blonde hair, a light complexion, blue eyes, not that tall. My Mom always says I am beautiful but the problem she does not know what goes on in school.  All the boys at XYZ high do not like me they think I am a total loser. So I get bullied a lot.

I look at my clock it is 7:30am, school starts at 8am. Not that I even feel like going, but my Mom will be mad so I better go. I go to my closet and take out my pink romper, I put my white undershirt on and then my romper. I put my black shoes on and I walk out the door and head to the bus stop, I walk into the bus. "Hi Miss Yvonne." The bus driver says. I just ignore him as I walk by, I sit down at the back of the bus like always. Once we get to school and get off and I enter the school and start walking down the hallway. "Hey there is that loser Yvonne." Some student yells. What is his problem I mutter to myself. I just keep walking down the hallway to my class until.

Bam

I fall over and my books go flying.

"Hey what was that for." I ask really annoyed now. I look up and see a boy about my age.

"Sorry, but I am new here." He says in a kind manner.

"No it was my fault I was not looking where I was going." I slowly get up, dust myself off and start to pick my school books up. I take a quick look at him, he has dirty blonde wavy hair, dark blue eyes medium build but handsome.

"Don't worry, it's nothing really." He helps me pick my books up. Our hands touch by accident. My face starts to heat up. I see him blushing as well.

"S-S-Sorry I did not mean to." I stutter.

"That's ok, I did not get your name? He asks frazzled.

"U-Um, its Serena, yours." My cheeks start to feel hot, I turn for he does not see my face. I cant like this boy already I just met him.

"Pretty name for a cute girl, my name is Darrin, nice to meet you." He winks at me. He shakes hands with me. Which I blush.

"Do you need help to find the office to get your schedule?" I ask trying to change the subject. I cant believe he called me cute. He's probably just trying to be nice.

"That would be great, I am new to the school." He replies.

I show him the way to the office. We don't talk again. Once he gets his schedule he walks back out of the office. "What is your schedule like? I ask.

"I have english, math, art, lunch, science, french and history." Darrin responds looking unsure.

"I have all the same classes, you come with me then. I know the way." I pull Darrin the way to class.

"Serena your pulling my hand to hard." He says cringing.

"Oh sorry, I did not mean to." Why did I just start pulling his hand like that. I blush a little.

"No problem." He says not caring much that I did that.

We make it down to the classroom. I take my seat and Darrin sits beside me.

"Ok class today we have a new student, Darrin could you come up to the front." Miss Jennifer asks.

Darrin walks to the front of the class. "Please introduce yourself to the rest of the class." The teacher asks.

"My name is Darrin I came here from Sinnoh my Mom found a better job here in Kalos. She thought XYZ  high was a pretty good high school.

I look him up and down he is pretty cute blue eyes, dirty blonde hair, medium build. He is very caring so far.

Darrin sits back down. "Hello Serena." He whispers.

I snap out of my thoughts. "I-I am good." I look away from him.

"Just making sure your not sick or anything." He smiles at me with looks of worry on his face.

"T-Thanks." My face starts to heat up.

The day goes by really fast. it is now lunch time. Me and Darrin go get our food and find a place to sit down.

"So Darrin how's your day going so far." I ask playing with my food a little.

"Great, but thanks to you." He smiles.

"But I am a nobody, no one likes me. I am even bullied." I hesitate.

"That's not true I like you." He says trying to make me happy.

"People will laugh at you, if your my friend." I start to cry a bit.

Darrin gives me a hug until I calm down. "So be it, I don't care."

"Thanks Darrin, can we trade cell numbers?" I ask politely.

"Sure Serena." He winks.

I put my number in his cell phone and he puts his in mine. The bell rings signalling the end of lunch.

"Ok Darrin we should head to class." I say.

"Yeah lets go." He replies. He grabs my hand, I just let him hold it I am not complaining. But I do blush. We make it to science class, we walk in. "Serena has a boyfriend." A boy yells. The rest of the class laughs. I sit down and hide my face at my desk.

"LEAVE HER ALONE." Darrin yells. I cant believe he did that for me, I barely know him.

"Ok class calm down, unless you all want detention." The teacher is very serious.

"Today we are going to start working on a group project for the next 4 weeks. You can pick your partner." The teacher says. Everyone else pairs up with their friends leaving just me and Darrin.

"Do you want to be my partner Darrin. Not that we have a choice." I laugh nervously.

"Sure Serena, your right. I will come over tomorrow night to your house to work on this." He just smiles.

"See you then." I reply.
