(Serena)

I take the bag of clothes and grab my scissors from my make up kit. As I walk into the bathroom in my hospital room. I pull the new clothes out of the bag, they look pretty cute, usually my Mom buys things I don't like. I change into the new clothes and look in the mirror I look really beautiful. They are a pink romper, a black under shirt, black leggings, brown boots. A pink fedora with black trim around it. With a red throw over the pink romper. One more thing I decide to cut my hair between short and long. So not too long not to short. Snip snip. I walk out of the bathroom, to see Darrin waiting for me.

"How do I look Darrin?" I ask blushing.

His mouth drops open in shock. "W-Well y-you know cute and beautiful. What did you do to your hair though?" He stutters.

"T-Thanks Darrin. My hair, I wanted a new look and to look cuter for you." I stutter a little bit. I whip my hair back, and grin at Darrin. My Mom knows what to pick. I put my hand out and Darrin takes it as we walk out to the waiting room.

"You look cute the way you are though already." He smiles at me.

This is what Serena looks like now.

I see my best friend Lillie and my Mom waiting for us.

"Hi Serena, woah you look so beautiful." Lillie says with her mouth dropping to the floor.

"My daughter looks so cute." Grace has a big smile on her face.

"Thanks Mom." I give her a hug.

"Thanks Lillie. You the best friend I could ever have." Lillie runs over to me and hugs me tight.

"Don't ever scare me like that ever again. What would I have done if I lost you." A tear starts to fall from Lillie cheek.

"Lillie don't cry, I am here and that's all that matters." I give her another hug.

I look at Darrin again, I see his right arm with it wrapped in gauze. "Omg Darrin are you doing ok, you don't look to good." I feel a tear start to fall from my eye. He gives me a hug.

"I will be fine, but do you remember anything about what happened." He asks looking worried, like he is about to cry.

I interlock my fingers with Darrin. "I don't really remember anything just Calem beating you up." I look around nervously.

"That's not good, I asked Professor Sycamore to come look at you to figure out with is wrong with you." Darrin kisses me on the head.

I see Professor Sycamore walking up to the waiting room. "Hi Serena, how are you feeling?" Sycamore asks with concern.

"I have been better Professor." I smile weakly.

I see him open his medical bag, he has blood bottles, needles and a blood pressure machine tucked in the bag. He pulls out 4 blood bottles and one needle.

"I will have to take your blood to test it to see what is happening?" He asks carefully not to upset my feelings.

"Sure Professor, I did not know you had medical experience as well as Pokemon." I wonder.

He starts rubbing my upper arm close to my shoulder with alcohol wipes."Well you see to look after pokemon is not that much different to humans." He puts the needle in my arm. The blood bottles are quickly filling up.

"Ow, that hurt." I look down and see Darrin is still holding my hand.

The bottles finish filling up. The Professor slowly takes the needle out.
"That's ok Serena. We are all done you did marvellous." He winks at me.

Why does Professor Sycamore always have to say the word marvellous so much. The worse part is I have him teaching my pokemon basics class at XYZ High. It must be his favourite word.

"Professor can I talk to for a minute in private?" Darrin pulls him away and goes down the hallway.

(Darrin)

"Yes Darrin anytime." He sounds serious.

"Let me tell you what happened, well it all start with Calem beating me up and Serena saved me but she throw this blue orb from her hand with looked like a aura sphere." I reply quietly to make sure no more head us.

"Um that's weird, I have heard of that before. I have to do more research first. I tell you what I find out about Serena Yvonne. I must be off now." He replies.

But someone is watching them. "Yes boss we have located the girl Serena Yvonne."

"Very good, don't do anything just keep a low profile and keep an eye out on Darrin and Serena."

"Yes boss, Team Shadow out."

I see the Professor walking out of the hospital, and Darrin walking back over to me.

"Serena I have to go to run some errands, ask Darrin and Lillie to come over for dinner." My Mom says.

"Ok Mom I will, see you later." I reply. She walks down the hallway of the hospital and disappears.

"What really happened Serena?" Lillie asks me.

"I think we should talk about this at my house. I feel like someone is watching us." I reply looking around. "Bad people are going to looking for me. That's why I had to move to Kalos from Kanto."

"Let's go then." Darrin replies look around the hospital for a dark figure which he finds.

Darrin pulls me and Lille by the hand and walks out of the hospital.

"What was that for?" I and Lillie glare at him.

"Sorry I saw someone in dark clothes hiding in the hospital. He might know about you already Serena." He looks very concerned.

"That's not good." I and Lillie start to tear up.

"Do not worry girls, I will protect both of you if need be. I care about Serena's friends too." He looks very confident.

"Aww, you so sweet." Lillie coos.

Darrin might look strong and brave on the outside but if the bad people kidnap me. Which they will Darrin will be destroyed from heartbreak. I cant let it happen but what am I going to do, he cant be always protecting me.

Time-skip 1 hour later

Serena's home

We all sit down at the kitchen table Me, Darrin and Lillie.

"Can we together see our mid-term marks?" I try to change the upset mood everybody is in.

Darrin pulls a envelope out of his bag, so does Lillie.

"Sure Serena." Darrin and Lillie reply not to interested in looking at there marks.

I run upstairs to my room and take off the envelope on my desk. I see the picture we took when I first met Darrin. It is really cute, anyways I better go back downstairs. I head back into the kitchen. I sit back down at the table.

"So ready?" I ask.

"I will go first I got an B in english, D in math, B in art, C in science, A+ in pokemon basics and C in history." He looks sad.

"That's not that good. I got an A in english, A in math, B in art, B in science, A+ in pokemon basics and A in history." I reply really happy.

I whisper over to Darrin. "I can help be your math tutor, I will not tell anyone." I wink.

"Sure Serena, I can spend more time with you." He smiles, I whack his arm a little in a playful way.

"Darrin that is sure pretty bad your marks." Lillie laughs.

"My turn, I got an B in english, B in math, B in art, A in science, B in french and B in history." Lillie replies looking confident.

"Well you got a lot of B's in your classes." He laughs back.

"Well your girlfriend is too hot." Lillie high fives me.

"What does that supposed to mean?" He asks puzzled.

"Boys don't know much." Me and Lillie laugh.

"Yes I do I know girls have boos." Darrin laughs back. Me and Lillie both lightly whack him on the back.

"Hey girls behave, lol." He says. Me and Lillie both kiss his cheek.

"Darrin you are really red." We laugh.

"What where, no I not." He trips over himself and falls.

"Haha, your such a goof." Me and Lillie look at each other and laugh so hard the neighbourhood could hear us.

I do not remember having this much fun before but I know it is not going to last for long. I still have to talk about today and what happened. This is why I kept to my myself a lot for my powers would not come to the surface.
