(Serena)

I wake up Monday morning, I slowly roll out of bed. I look at the window and see it is snowing again. It is February 1st today, I cant believe it has been 2 weeks since I meet Darrin, He is always worried for me and my safety. He really cares for me, but that Ash there is something. I still have a crush on him but I have Darrin and he is right for me. I have to move on but maybe I will let Darrin be friends with Ash, It cant do any harm.

Time-skip to French class.

I head into class as for usual with Darrin walking beside me. We sit down in our seats. The Professor walks into the classroom. "I have an important announcement to make anyone one who has a pokemon your class as been changed to Pokemon Basics. Can I have Calem, Serena, Darrin and Jessica come up to the front." Professor Juniper announces.

I start to feel nervous with Jessica and Calem still having to be in my class. Darrin gets up and takes me by the hand to the font of the class. I start to blush a little bit. 

"So you selected students can you make it to room 314." Professor Juniper says.

"Sure." Everyone says.

As we walk to the classroom, with Darrin the closer we get the more excited I am getting.

"Darrin are you excited? I ask with joy to my step.

"Of course I am." He just looks at me with those amazing blue eyes of his. He moves an hair out of my eyes. My face goes as red as a bright red car.

"Great." I try not to look at him, as trying not to embarrass myself.

We walk into the classroom, I am amazed at what I see, there is quite a few desks in the classroom with a big white board. There is an elevator in the middle of the room, I wonder where that goes. A student walks up to us, she has cute long brown hair with blue eyes, she is wearing a short blue dress that has frills at the bottom.

"Hi Serena and Darrin, my name is Blue." She bows down in front of us.

How does she know our names, Me and Darrin are both thinking to ourselves.

"Hi Blue, nice to meet you. How do you know us?" We say in unison. We shake hands with each other.

"I am Professor Sycamore assistant. The Professor told me all about you two starting Pokemon trainers."

"That's awesome." We both say. I notice the tables are set in groups of three.

"Mind if I sit with you guys? I don't want to sit with the bullies." Blue sounds scared.

"Of course not, anything for a friend." I say.

"Thanks Serena." All three of us walk and sit down at the table. I look over and see Calem sitting with the bully Jessica. I see another girl with blue hair and red eyes sitting with them.

"Who is that Blue sitting with Calem and Jessica." I curiously ask.

"Oh that is Miette, watch out for her she is cute but don't get on her bad side." Blue replies.

"Why?" I see her giving Darrin an evil smile.

Blue pulls me in close and whispers. "She took my boyfriend away from me. So whatever you do keep Darrin close. She uses her body to get boys to like her."

"Ok I will keep Darrin away from her. She sounds like a nasty person." I reply. I hold on to Darrin tighter.

The teacher walks in. "Good afternoon class, it is marvellous to see that we have a few new students That will be joining our class. Be nice to them please."

I don't believe it is Professor Sycamore.

"If everybody does not mind release your Pokémon for everyone can see them." The teacher asks.

I release my Eevee out of its pokeball, Darrin has Squirtle, Blue has a Totodile that is blue and looks like a small alligator with big teeth. Miette has a Meowstic which looks like a cat but is blue and white with cat looking eyes. Calem has a Chespin that looks really strong. Finally Jessica has a Mienfoo.

"What marvellous Pokémon you all have. If you don't mind let's have a friendly pokemon battle. The battlefield is up the elevator in the centre of the room." The teacher is so excited.

We all walk to the elevator and go up, once we get out the battlefield is so big and has a big covered dome. Everyone else walks up beside me.

"I will pick who will get to battle first." Professor Sycamore yells. He walks over to a table to pick names.

Miette keeps looking at Darrin. What is her problem it looks like she want to make out with him. I quickly get the thought out of my head.

"Miette stop looking at my boyfriend that way you're disgusting." I yell at her. I want to hit her so bad. Blue and Darrin grab both of my hands.

"Let me go." I yell frustrated.

"Serena it is not worth it." Darrin and Blue say in unison.

"Your right." I drop down on the floor starting to cry.

"You are such a loser Yvoone." Miette starts snickering.

"The first battle will be Darrin vs Calem, it will be a 1on1 pokemon battle." The Professor announces.

Darrin walks up to the battle area and walks past Calem.

"Hey Darrin if I win I get to go on a date with Serena." He has an evil grin on his face.

"Just keep thinking that buddy never gonna happen." Darrin keeps walking to the battle field.

(Darrin)

I am not sure what pokemon to use squirtle is weak against Chespin, I can't lose for Serena's sake. I think of an idea. Calem let's his Chespin walk out on the battlefield.

"Serena can I borrow Eevee for this battle?" I ask her.

"Sure Darrin." She walks up to me and passes her Eevee to me. It jumps down ready to battle. "Just don't lose, I am going on that date with only you." She kisses me on the cheek. I blush with a tint of pink on my face.

"Battle begin." The Professor yells excited.

"Eevee start out using dig to avoid the attack." I command.

"Chespin use vine whip." Calem yells, two sets of green vines come out of Chespin. The attack hits one hole totally missing the target.

I here Blue and Serena cheering for me. I look over to the bullies Jessica and Miette they look so mad, crossing their arms.

"Eevee use shadow ball from inside the hole." I yell. An black round ball coming flying out of one of the holes right behind Chespin giving Calem no time issuing a command. The ball hit Chespin and it goes smashing into the wall. When the dust clears the pokemon is past out.

"And the winner is Darrin and Eevee, just absolutely marvellous." The Professor congratulates Darrin.

"How could I lose to him. Chespin return." Calem is pretty mad, an red light engulfs the pokemon and then disappears into the pokeball.

"You did awesome Eevee." I pick up Eevee rubbing its head.

"Eevee-eevee." It says.

Serena runs up to me and hugs me. "You did great Darrin, I knew you would win."

"Thanks for letting me use Eevee Serena." I hug her back. I like holding on to Serena like this.

"You did great to Darrin." Blue interrupts are moment. 

The bell rings signalling the end of the school day.

"Bye class, see you tomorrow." The Professor yells.

"Bye Blue." Darrin and I both say.

"Bye guys." She replies.

As I walk towards the door with Serena's hand holding mine. Calem shoves me out of the way. Making my hand fall out of her hand.

"Remember Darrin, this is not over. Next time you won't be lucky." He snarls at me as he walks out the door.

I am worried now something bad will happen to Darrin, if I lost him now I would be shattered.
