Kedar and I walked downstairs hand in hand only for all our family members to smile gleefully. Sharadha aunty and Gauri aunty smiled at each other. Pattu looked excited, Mukta Vanni looked relieved. Some of our relatives thought we looked cute together while rest as usual gossiped about our height difference which honestly was not a big deal anymore for both of us.

However one person amongst the crowd didn't look very pleased at our togetherness yet plastered a fake smile looking at Kedar.

Her darting gaze followed us everywhere but I shot her a death glare and curled my arm across Kedar's bicep showing her who's the boss but suddenly Rudra Anna and Omkar Anna appeared there saying

'Alright Alright let's begin the function!!! Rudra and Shivansh here are going to do the photography and Neil and I'm going to personally capture videos of this function while Ken here will manage the lighting!!! Right Ken???' saying Omkar Anna handed over a big umbrella light in his hand and Kedar looked around asking

'Why am I the lightman suddenly???' but to which Mukta Vanni walked closer and said

'Dont listen to your Anna here Kedar... he's a despo!!! He's done this at every baby shower event. Trying to sneak peak with his team of dummies just to get a glimpse of the function!!!' saying she folded her hands against her chest while Omkar Anna rubbed his chest rigorously whispering

'Not anyone...just you my baby girl!!!' Anna stared at Vanni with a smirk and Sanskriti jumped in saying

'Woah woah woah baby girl and baby boy!!! Calm down...we are here for Pattu's baby shower...you both can plan your baby later...let's get this one out!!!' Sanskriti said while Shivansh stepped up saying

'Thats exactly what Anna is saying darling!!! We will do free photography videogra-' but Sanskriti stepped up saying

'No thank you!!! You Mister if you don't want to sleep on couch for next one week out from here with the Nayak boys right now!!!' she said keeping a hand on her waist while Neil simply stood up saying

'Lets go Anna!!!' while Omkar held his hand and asked him to shutup

'See!!! That's a gentleman!!! Now shoooo we have to start our function!!!' Mukta Vanni said and Kedar curiously asked

'But why should we leave...It's a baby shower and I've never seen any Indian functions... Infact I was thinking of showing Bella the festivities!!!' and in no time that Anabella jumped closer to him saying

'Awww Ken... although I would love to!!!' and she held onto his bicep and I raised an eyebrow saying

'Awwwwww!!! We will show you festivities Anabella!!!'

'Isabella!!!' she said firmly

'Whichever Lala...you wanna be a part of this function...let go off his hand!!!' I said looking firmly and Sharada aunty said

'Correct!!! It's a all ladies function...men not allowed!!!' and in no time Sanskriti and Mukta Vanni pushed all men outside while Rudra Anna tried convincing that he's the reason for this baby shower but instead Vanni held onto his ear and pushed him out while Bella said..

'I won't be here without you Ken... Let's go out!!! This looks quite boring without you!!!'

But Kedar told her to stay back and although I was least interested Vanni took her along and made her sit in a corner. She looked most disinterested.

Why is she here???

'Alright Pakku... Sanskriti...you both can begin.' Gauri aunty said and we both took a deep breath.

Time for some action.

'What is so secretive about a baby shower? I mean they literally threw us out of the function.' Neil said munching onto the roasted cashewnuts when Omkar Anna said

'Wooooah don't tell me you didn't attend or see any of these ladies functions?' and Neil looked here and there then nodded a NO!!!

'Ohhh its so much fun!!! Didn't any of you watch a bollywood movie? Women...sing, dance, imitate men!!!' and suddenly my ears were alert.

'Imitate??? As in enact???' and Rudra chuckled saying

'Ohhh not just that they make their target of the day a big butt of jokes such that every other woman watching you post the function will imagine things and laugh atleast for a few weeks!!!' and I was curious

'Wooow that interesting is it??? Have you or Anna been targeted before?'

To which Omkar Anna kept a hand on my shoulder and said
'Ohhh you have no idea!!! They made fun of Rudra 's confusion phase where he took time to realise his love for Pattu and don't ask about me they made fun of my eating habits, my clothing style, my way of travelling... I was their biggest target till date and why wouldn't I?...your Vanni got the entire act choreographed!!!' he said making my eyes widen in shock

'Wooow that sounds fun!!!' saying I popped a foxnut. Cashews are too much calories!!!'

While Shivansh giggled saying
'Dont be so excited dearest Ken Bro!!! It's our turn this year!!! They are going to enact me and you' he said and I practically choked upon the foxnuts and Neil offered me a glass of water while Shivansh said

'Woah!!! I thought you knew!!! I don't really know what the act is all about but I heard Vanni is having a lot of complains about you and your new foreign muse!!!' and I was shocked and also curious.

'Is there a way we can sneak in?' I asked and Neil stood up saying

'Bro!!! No!!! Please... that's so tacky!!! It's a all woman event!!! Let's stick by the rules!!!'

To which I raised an eyebrow saying
'If I had stuck by the rules you would be crying for going behind that stupid girlfriend of yours!!! Camellia!!! Where is she by the way??? Wasn't she going to attend this function?' I asked and Neil started fumbling. He was sweating and started avoiding me and now I was curious. Why is he so nervous? Is there an issue?

'Neil...tell me the truth!!! Is there any issu-'

'Ken bro please!!! Nothing like that...you... you... you are overthinking and I think you should go and watch Vanni 's act!!!' and Shivansh said

'Exactly Kedar Anna..I know how to sneak in!!!' and I raised an eyebrow.

'This is madness!!! If someone looks up they will know we are here!!!' I said and suddenly Omkar Anna pulled the curtain infront of us saying

'And that's why these curtains!!! Fool proof idea every time!!!' Anna said and I was impressed. We were standing up the balcony area and hiding behind the curtains getting a clear view of the function happening but it was at a bad distance.

'Its nice yet it's far!!!' and before I completed a set of binoculars were passed on saying 'Weapons are ready!!!' and I was shocked.

Wooow these men are indeed whipped and besotted.

Shivansh smiled like a maniac staring at Sanskriti via the binoculars while Omkar Anna kept muttering 'Baby Girl!!! You indeed look like a delicious Jalebi in that yellow while Rudra muttered under his breath 'Maybe I'll plan to have a couple of babies more if that's how she'll look at a baby shower!!! Gosh I'm falling in love!!!'

They took this really very seriously. Omkar Anna assigned Sameer and Karthik to be on high alert so no one comes to second floor and even if they did Neil was made to stand at the door to alert is if anyone arrived. Dang what a setup!!!

'Ken...go ahead!!! Use the binoculars!!!' he said and I slowly kept the binoculars close to my eyes and started searching for her everywhere and suddenly the music boomed loudly and my breath hitched as my eyes fell on a certain someone in a dark blue saree. The saree I made her wear. My eyes scanned through her lush beauty when the song played

Those cute chubby cheeks, that big hair bun cladded with Jasmine flowers that I pinned to her bun today. I could still smell it's fragrance...her fragrance.

Her tingling bangles...anklets...I couldn't hear them but could definitely say how musical they would sound closer to my ears.

Those beautiful big eyes expressing anger and complaints all against me....and a smile adored my lips...she lifted up her saree a little and I blushed seeing her that she hadn't worn the anklets Karthik got for her.

I blushed seeing the way she arched her back and danced along with Sanskriti Vanni who had dressed as Lord Krishna. When she twirled and moved her waist in sync my breath hitched looking at her slightly chubby yet milky white waistline and the thirst to touch and feel her again burnt me from within. My lips parted imagining the things I could do to resolve all the complains she had from me.

Last when she moved only to music without lyrics continuously made me feel proud that she was my wife. So graceful...so beautiful...so sexy...It was getting tougher for me to stay here and watch her alone. It took every bit of patience and self control to not walk down there and carry her in my arms and claim her like a caveman. She calls me a beast and indeed today she was bringing my 'beast' alive.

I am definitely going to need a cold shower after seeing her moves.

The dance function got over and everyone applauded and when we thought the function got over is when I noticed Sanskriti Vanni had dressed up as Shivansh and they made fun of Shivansh and Sanskriti's love story. But what shocked me was Prakruthi had instead of dressing up as me brought a tall ladder which was made to wear my shirt and pants and my face was stuck onto it.

My eyes practically popped out when Omkar Anna and Rudra Anna made fun of me while I was shocked seeing Prakruthi romancing the ladder and although she made fun of me but just the thought of she romancing me made me blush.

It was indeed a fun event. Once the function was over they were having lunch when we were having our snacks here but suddenly Shivansh said

'Brooo!!! Looks like an argument broke out between Prakruthi Vanni and your imported guest!!!' and I was concerned.

I quickly looked through the binoculars and noticed Prakruthi and Bella had got into a heated argument.
