'Cheers!!!' and then the beer mugs clinked against each other and next second my back went stiff as Omkar Anna slapped my shoulder like he weighed nothing although I guess I will have a nice handprint on my shoulder in a few hours.

'Our Ken is a cutie!! I mean a Nayak who doesn't drink!!! That is cute!!!' and I narrowed my eyebrows saying

'I am not cute Anna!!! It's just that I don't like the taste of beer...it's bitter!!!' I said and sipped my grape juice.

'Ohhh you have no idea Omkar Anna...Bro just hates it!!! Once we tried to trick him into drinking it and he quickly spat out the drink. Sharp tastebuds!!! In fact he won't even drink Cava in spite of having a whole heart for Spanish cuisine just because it's bitter!!!' and this time it was Neil.

I looked at him and then he looked at me with the same innocent smile that he kept passing me since he was a child. 5 years of age difference isn't much but I really do consider him like a baby and no I cannot be angry with him for too long.

I smiled at him and he genuinely smiled back and next second I knew he threw his arms around me and I was pulled into a tight hug such that Omkar Anna, Rudra and Shivansh were all smiling silently looking at us. I wrapped my arms around him and patted his head like I always did every time he came to me apologizing after he acknowledged his mistakes since our childhood days.

'Shhh!!! Let the bygones be bygones!!! I have no complaints Neil!!! Because you said no to Prakruthi I have her in my life as my wife. Then although your decision was abrupt but atleast you didn't marry Prakruthi for the sake of it. And honestly I'm happy with her.' and the next second I heard a 'Ooooooooooooooh' from the Nayak men.

I slowly see Neil as well pressing his lips tightly and smiling looking at me and I next listen Omkar Anna clearing his throat.

We were right now sitting on the terrace of my bungalow after my wife ordered me to not enter the Nayak bungalow tonight and that followed all other Nayak wives boycotting their husbands tonight. So here we are under the starlit sky with drinks and snacks, of course me with my grape juice discussing our lives.

'Welllll looks like someone doesn't regret the 'Destiny's Exchange Offer' so much!!!' and I ignored the question and went on to pick some banana chips.

But Shivansh quickly pulled the bowl off my hands and said
'Hmmmmmm not so easily Kedar Anna...Looks like someone's marital life spiced up off late!!!' and I rolled my eyes and went to pick some potato wafers while Rudra pulled the bowl from my hands saying

'The Health Freak Kedar Nayak is eating chips for midnight munching!!! Wasn't this the same guy who would tell us when he first came from Hollywood that 'Ohhhhh!!! Those chips are unhealthy...these sweets are calories...oh fructose...oh sucrose...oh refined flour!!! And now...you are drinking grape juice at midnight and munching upon chips!!! Wellllll something definitely changed in a month!!! I mean I can understand Prakruthi Vanni is Pattu's cousin so practically I can say there is definitely some level of madness involved but this much that it can change a strong headed man like you!!! Daddy Ken is turning into a love sick puppy hannn' saying Rudra and Omkar Anna high fived each other.

'Rubbish!!! I'm just trying to you know... mingle alongside!!!' I tried to justify my actions to which Neil burst out laughing and said 'Anna you haven't eaten chips since your college days!!! I don't think there is another health freak like you and you eating chips is definitely fishy. I mean Prakruthi is definitely something!!!' Neil added and everyone gave me their creepy smiles.

Gosh!!! Guess this runs in the Nayaks bloodline.

'Nonsense!!! And I have told you...it's no more Prakruthi...It's Prakruthi Vanni!!! And no..there is nothing like I never eat chips... remember the party for KenNeil's branch opening at Barcelona??? I ...I ate chips there!!!'

To which Neil bit his lip saying 'Anna that was 3 years ago and you still insisted those to be roasted and not fried also confirmed a hundred times about its calories and nutrients and the next day did an extra 2 hours of the gym!!!'

'Ummmm wwwwwelll!!! I will go to the gym tomorrow as well!!! I will go jogging on the beach!!!' I tried to speak up and Neil smirked saying 'Ofcourse ofcourse!!!'

'Accept it Kedar Anna..you are smitten!!! I mean Sanskriti told me that Pattu Vanni and Mukku Vanni found you and Prakruthi Vanni in a compromising position today... practically naked!!!' said Shivansh making me choke upon my grape juice and the next second all the Nayak brothers screamed 'Whhhhhatttt???' and I simply tried to walk away but Omkar Anna's one hand on my shoulder and I froze.

'Details!!!' he said and although I made a puppy face. He was the Demon and I was dead meat.

'Wooooah you both kissed!!!' said Shivansh with heart eyes

'Naaaaa that isn't a kiss really...it's a peck!!!' Rudra corrected him.

'You shutup Mister!!! For you everything is silly!!! If I wouldn't have interfered between you and Pattu, you would have made a couple of children and even then say it was nothing!!!' said Omkar Anna

'But then why isn't Prakruthi...I mean Prakruthi Vanni acknowledging it!!!' Neil asked and I huffed saying

'I don't know!!! I mean I thought maybe she's still interested in this Karthik guy but-'

And before I could complete the statement I heard both Rudra and Omkar Anna speak up 'You mean Karthik Shetty?' and I narrowed my eyebrows and look at them and huffed again saying

'Yea!!! He's her childhood crush and that guy is a little too-'

'Staring all the time??? I told you Rudy he would look better with black eyes!!!" Omkar Anna said punching his own fist!!!

'What the??? I thought he's your best employee???' I asked and Omkar Anna looked at me and said

'Ohhhh he is!!! The reason why we wanted to get rid of him but then what can we do he is both Mukta and Pattu's beeeeeeest friend!!! So when you asked for our best without a second thought we recommended him... atleast my Mukku's hehe haha would reduce with him. God I hate his charms!!!' Anna said this time kicking the wall.

'Yeaaaa...and him all the time chatting and talking to Pattu all the time!!! I mean why does my wife needs to suggest if pink or white shirt looks good on him. Go fucking use your bloody eyes!!!' Rudra sounded even more hyper.

'Wooooahhhh!!! Looks like we have a 'I hate Karthik Shetty gang here!!! I thought it's just me!!! Never knew a simple Karthik Shetty had so much demand!!!' I said

'Neither does he have a chance with my Pattu!!! Pattu is only Rudra's... My doll only has eyes for me and if that Karthik Shetty even tries to...I will pluck his eyes out with my bare hands!!!' and I nervously smiled saying 'Ahhhhemmmm right!!! I ...I don't think Karthik is that dangerous!!! I mean my Prakruthi doesn't even look at him now!!! So I think he's out of the league!!!' I said and both Rudra and Omkar Anna hummed while still a growl left their throats.

'I am sorry Ken...I didn't know he would turn out to be Pakku's crush!!!' Omkar Anna said and I smiled saying

'Doesnt matter Anna...I know Prakruthi will never go to him and if he tries something don't worry this bungalow in Mangalore has a backyard!!!' I said sweetly and both Omkar Anna and Rudra smirked.

Suddenly I heard Shivansh saying
'Wowwww... looks like girls are having a secret party!!! Wooow look at my Sanskriti...Damn I wish I could meet her!!!' Shivansh spoke like a love sick puppy and our eyes were alert.

'Party???' Rudra raised an eyebrow

'Secret party???' Omkar Anna narrowed his eyebrows

'How do you know???' I turned around looking at Shivansh who showed us a few pics on social media.

And I noticed all the Nayak daughter in laws dressed up in chic dresses looking cute yet what caught my eyes was Prakruthi's only picture where I noticed her hugging Prarthana Vanni from behind. Her dress wasn't visible but what caught my attention was her long beautiful hair was left open and that smile made me want to see her right now.

'Annaaaaa calm down what happened???' Rudra asked and Omkar Anna said

'They are at the pub!!! And I want to punch this stupid guy who is staring at my Mukku!!!' said Omkar Anna angrily punching his fists.

'Come on Anna!!! I don't think he's staring at Vanni... maybe he is looking at something in the same direction!!!' said Shivansh sipping onto his beer.

'Orrrr maybe he is staring at Sanskriti!!!' said Rudra and Shivansh spat out his beer and jumped onto see Sanskriti in the next picture and the same lad staring at him.

'What the F!!! I am calling Sanskriti right now!!!' saying he began to dial but Neil stopped him saying

'Stop it Shivansh.. you can't do that!!! They are having a girls night out and let them enjoy it!!!'

'Ohhh Shutup Neil...you aren't married yet!!! So you'll never understand the pressure of having such beautiful, intelligent, smart and independent women as your wives!!!' said Shivansh

'Exactly!!! I mean Mukku is one of a kind!!! She lets me wear what I want, eat what I like...I mean she is never embarrassed of my habits and my looks. She never asked me to cut my hair, behave a certain way..never tried to change or manipulate me unlike my ex-girlfriend...She didn't even mind when I wore shorts at her baby shower!!! She loves me the way I am...my baby girl!!! I'll be lost without her!!!' Omkar Anna said at once

'And my Pattu...she is the one who has brought a balance in my life. I mean fine she cooks a little bad food and she thinks Doraemon is for real and somehow is a little too loud but then she's the reason why I could follow my dreams. She encouraged me to pursue designing again. She made me fall in love!!! I'm nothing without my doll' Rudra said with his longing eyes...

I smiled looking at these guys who are so whipped.

'I think they are all beautiful yet smart women who can take care of themselves. I think we must just relax and continue eating our munchies. Ohhh wait...let me get you folks some special stuff.

Woooahhh woahhh Wooooahhhh check that out!!! I think you guys enjoy these fresh croquettas while I'll make the gazpacho... healthy and tasty...we can enjoy them in a while!!!' saying I wore my apron and began chopping the tomatoes, olives, cucumber and some peppers for making fresh gazpacho only for loud cheers to be heard saying

'Prakruthi Prakruthi Prakruthi Prakruthi!!!' and I turn around and I see Omkar Anna showing me a video playing on social media where Prakruthi is dancing on some bollywood number along with a random guy and then gulping down taquila shots!!!

The minute I see the guy's hand around my Prakruthi's waist I heard Rudra scream

'What the fish Kedarrr yuckkk!!!' and I notice I had squeezed the tomato flat so badly that it had splashed onto my apron and Rudra's tshirt badly.

'Would you still think we are good here?' Omkar Anna whispered in my ears and I raised an eyebrow.

I looked at the guy who was still smiling looking at Prakruthi even after the dance ended. I squeezed the tomato even more.

'Lets go!!!' I said removing the apron and throwing it away.
