So this is Apidae (a type of bee pronounced a-pi-day) She's a NightWing Hivewing hybrid. She looks a lot like a normal HiveWing, but her wings and face have distinct NightWing features. Apidae's mother, Ginger, stumbled upon a handsome dragon she'd never seen before. She didn't know who he was, but she was fascinated by the dragon. His name was Silver Seeker. One thing lead to another and suddenly Ginger had Apidae. Ginger told her mate Tuscan that Apidae was his baby. She was worried the dragonet would come out a little strange, but she tried not to think about it too much. Once Apidae was hatched, Ginger was horrified. The baby dragon had the wings of that strange dragon. While the wings were strangely beautiful, Ginger knew other dragons would definitely know something was wrong with her dragonet. She came up with a plan. She was going to burn her dragonets wings off. And that's what she tried to do when her eldest daughter, Marigold, and her husband walked in on her trying to burn off Apidae's Wings. They were horrified and wrestled Ginger of her daughter. After that, they decided never to speak of the incident. Ginger came up with the story that Apidae came out deformed as a dragonet and soon was in a horrible accident, and that's why her wings were burnt. One of Apidae's Wings is still pretty intact (her left wing) while the other one only has bone and tattered skin (her right wing). Apidae doesn't really know what happened to her, and believes her mothers story. She is ashamed of herself as her mother always calls her ugly and makes her wear a cloak when they have guests or go out in public. Apidae wishes she could be beautiful like her sister Marigold (which I might make and have her be my OC idk) but Marigold insists that she is beautiful and there is no other dragon like her.
