Raghav screamed 'Daaaad'

Siya smiled and said 'O.K. Dad... Can I go to work today please'

To which Narayani said 'Sure dear... It's your business, your choice, your independence.. have fun...umm just one thing...be home by 5 today evening.. reception starts by 7...you'll need to dress up and get ready'

To which Siya smiled and said 'Sure aunty...I ...I mean mom'

Everyone smiled while Raghav's gaze followed Siya's beautiful face...

'She looks beautiful while she smiled' he thought to himself.

Soon Siya left and everyone dispersed from the dining table. Raghav was on leave but decided to look into his emails for last 4 days.

While Raghav got back to looking into his emails while a lazy Naman came down to living area scratching the back of his head

',Ammmma....coffee'

Raghav looked at Naman who lazily threw himself on the recliner in living area...

'Raghs ....what the hell you working...you must be working on something else now' he winked

'Shutup Nam...and tell me how's the deal going on with the Goa plot for the resort?..
I see things aren't moving' said a seriously indulged Raghav into his laptop scrolling through his emails

'Bro...it's just 4 days since you didn't come to work and you got married day before yesterday..who the hell thinks business now...plsssss' he screamed curling up with still his eyes closed lazily on the recliner

'Nam... enough... tonight is the last function and I'm returning back to work tomorrow...I need updates' Raghav sounded firm and strict

'Back to the Boss Attitude...shhhh relax...this Monday we have a meeting with the Goa client...I'll attend it...you go to your honeymoon' Nam blurted out and then he bit his tongue...he realized he already screwed up his mom's surprise gift for Raghav and Siya.

Raghav froze.

'Nam...u really need to learn to shut your big mouth' a voice came from behind his back and there was Narayani with a hot cup of coffee for Naman the lazybee

'Sorry Amma...I messed up' he said in an apologetic tone

While Raghav was staring with his eyes wide open to his mom

'Amma what honeymoon??? I'm hitting back office... there's too much backlog' Raghav said at once

'Nothing doing Raghav...now that you know it's my wedding gift to you both...I've booked honeymoon trip for you n Siya... I want you both to have an awesome time with each other...you both are going to Switzerland this Saturday' she said

Raghav was dumfounded.

'Switzerland???' he looked at his mom like he saw some ghost infront of him

'Yup ...where else would you wanna honeymoon...ur bedroom?😉' Naman teased naughtily and Narayani laughed and gave him a HiFi ..

'Shutup Nam... sorry Amma... The Goa deal must finalize soon...I can't Amma' Raghav said looking back into his laptop...hiding his irritation which was still quite evident.

'Raghav...Namu will handle everything...you just enjoy your vacation with my daughter in law... It's time you guys relax, know each other and have some fun' she said placing a hand on his hair.

Raghav looked up to look into his mother's eyes...she was smiling.

'Amma ...Let me be honest...thats what Siya expects too...honesty in this marriage....Its not a cakewalk Amma...

I and Siya had an arranged marriage...we are absolutely unknown to each other...I don't think your honeymoon plans will be appreciated by both of us... I'm just being honest...it's really uncomfortable' Raghav said picking up his laptop and started walking upstairs back into his room. While he felt good as he wasn't pretending anything like last few days of plastering a fake smile on his lips...

Narayani was shocked and thought this needs to be dealt carefully and decided to take it slow knowing the situation in which Raghav married Siya

Naman again felt a bit guilty... He somehow felt he was responsible for his brother to go through this.

Naman walked into Raghav's room

'Bro...may I come in' Naman asked knocking at Raghav's bedroom door

'Since when did you need permission to get in...Bugger...get in' a smiling Raghav welcomed his brother

Naman wanted to maintain the decorum as his brother was a married man now.

Naman stood fiddling his fingers and took a seat on the chair near the couch... that's when he noticed a pillow and a comforter on the couch.

He understood it wasn't as smooth as he expected it to be for his brother. But ofcourse he always had an idea about it. Isn't that the reason he denied this marriage inspite of being in love with Aditi...

But Aditi would never listen...it's not that she was wrong...but it was all too messed up specially for Siya who just got into this from nowhere.

'What is it Nam' said a Raghav still typing something on his laptop

A hesitant Naman finally spoke up

'Bro...I'm sorry...I '

Raghav stopped typing and looked at Naman and smiled

He asked him to come and sit next to him on the bed where he was sitting with his laptop

Naman quietly went and sat next to him and was looking down like a silent child who was caught doing something wrong.

Raghav had a chuckle on his face looking at Naman's innocent face remembering a 5 year old Naman who had spilled orange juice on his holiday homework by mistake and stood there folding his hands... Raghav smiled at his thoughts thinking time passes so soon.

'Why are you like this Nam...I've told you before...it's not your fault... Falling in love is not a mistake... But yup...hiding it from your brother and thinking that sacrificing your love just because your brother had feelings for the same girl is wrong!!!it was one-sided...pls understand it's not you...its my heart' Naman looked at his brother who was still smiling.

Raghav continued...

'There is something called destiny which has its own plans... Aditi wasn't made for me..she was always yours... You fell in love with her and so did she ...so why are you sorry about it...I agree... Aditi realised late...but atleast she spoke up... If she didn't would you have imagined the havoc in our lives...our life would have turned into a 90's bollywood movie...' Raghav laughed and Naman bursted laughing too

'So basically whatever happened is best for everyone' Raghav said patting Naman's shoulder.

'And Siya...I mean Vanni (sister in law)' said Naman questioning his brother.

Raghav thought for two minutes and said
' I know it's toughest for her as she's jumped into this clueless mess...but she seemed to be quite a sorted girl... she's independent... hardworking.. understanding and warm... I hope we both sort out this mess in sometime..but that's our problem...you don't need to think about it ok???

To which Naman nodded his head... And gave his brother a tight hug

'We definitely will sort it out Namu...we need our own space..just give us that space' said Raghav in a firm tone.

Naman nodded his head and patted his brother's shoulder saying 'You will...you both will'

Raghav smiled.

In the back of his mind Raghav thought to himself that 'Is it really that simple...he knew they had to take it with each passing day and it wasn't as simple as described...but Siya was a smart intelligent girl...they can if nothing else stay good friends....

Raghav felt a little better.
