Manyata's POV

As soon as we entered the gates we saw all of the mansion decorated like a bride, all of the mansion was covered in lights and flowers, it was almost as if a wedding was going to take place here.

We were shocked, excluding two people Uday and Unnati, their faces held a normal expression.

"Is there going to be a wedding?" asked Kanika softly to which Unnati laughed a little bit and aswered

"its Uday bhai's..." but she was cut in between by a sudden commotion of people rushing towards us, two girls and a guy came towards us and greeted Uday and Unnati, they all were looking well acquainted with them.

Uday is .. is Uday getting married?

"who are these ladies?" asked the guy while moving around and focusing on us.

"They are my Dear friends and Guests" answered Unnati and introduced us one by one to all of them, we all moved to the living room area from the entrance in meanwhile, I got to from Unnati that the Guy whose name is Krishna is a cousin to them from their mother's side meanwhile the two girls, Shivi and Subhi are daughters of their father's sister.

we all sat down on the sofa and were having a conversation, Krishna who is a travel vlogger was keen to know about Banaras, he was impressed by our description of Assi Ghat and the Kathak classes that take place on the banks sometimes.

"Did you guys learn Kathak?" asked Shivi

"yeah, I and Manyata Di have Visharath in Kathak meanwhile my dumb sister left the practice in the Third year only" exclaimed Pragya to which Prachi frowned.

"I did not quit, I had better things to do" she grumbled, we all know her better things was chasing her crush over a cycle in the Valleys of Banaras and then getting heartbroken over it.

"Yeah Unnati what is the occasion that the mansion is so beautifully decorated are we about to see a royal wedding?" asked Kritika while wiggling her eyebrows in a teasing manner.

"Oh no-no, for now, I don't think that there will be a Royal wedding for you to see but you will be able to see a royal Crowing ceremony for sure" replied Unnati.

I was now inside my room, we all had a great conversation in the Living room, tomorrow is Uday's Crowning Ceremony that is why there is a lot of hustle and bustle in the Mansion, I don't know why but I was a bit happy that it's going to be his crowning ceremony, not a wedding.

We were provided with Dinner in our room today because of the Preparation that is going on.
I decided to open the balcony, Attached in the room, I went outside on the balcony and the view was great, one can see a half Moon in the sky with very few stars around it, this room faces the backside of the Mansion so I was able to look at the refreshing garden.
I rested my elbows on the railing and relaxed under the moonlight, my eyes moved down towards the grass from the moon, but they were met with a hazel ones, this room is on the first floor so the balcony is not too high, I could see Uday, he was walking inside the garden and was looking at me, I waved my hand towards him awkwardly, not knowing what else to do.
He stared at me for a good minute, before asking me to come down with a hand gesture, now I was more confused than ever.
Is he waving or asking me to come down? why would he want me down?
I gestured confirming if he wanted me to come down, to which he nodded.
My eyes widened why does he want me there but me being the Jhasi Ki Rani I am, I went down towards the garden.

I grabbed my shrug and wore it above my black kurta I was wearing, it's chilly at nights, when I reached towards the garden Uday was nowhere to be seen I was about to call his name when he came towards me from somewhere behind the bush.
"Hey, Manyata" he said
"Hi" I replied, I don't know why I came down it's awkward we, this situation, everything is awkward.
"Sorry for scaring you and your friends back in Jaipur, I should have been more careful and sane".
"Yes you did scared us, but its really okay Uday, I feel you made up with inviting us to your house not that we will be able to see a royal crowning ceremony" I said
"It's great that you forgave me" he replied
"So did you call me down just to ask for a apology?" I said, stupid stupid move did you really had to say this Manyata wow now you made the whole conversation 100x awkward.
He just laughed a bit and answered "yes actually I wanted to apologise to you in person, but I did not got a opportunity so as soon as I saw you in the balcony i wanted to apologise"
Now we were both walking side by side inside the garden.
"Hey Manyata what is that Tattoo on your sholder?" He asked
"You will not let that go will you?" I said to which he laughed and nodded in positive response
My tattoo or birth mark I am not quite sure, is a story I tell almost everyone so I decided to tell him too.
"My tattoo or birthmark is there from birth, there is no such dramatic story behind it, all I know is that it's on my shoulder as soon as I was born." I said, he just nodded and kept looking forward as we walk.
"Are you nervous for tommorow?" I asked him as I think tommorow is such a big day for him surly he is nervous.
"Yes, I am" he admitted, one thing I noticed about him is that he is simple and straight with his answers.
"I am not scared, I am just nervous became from tommorow I will have more responsibility I have today, tommorow I will officially become a Crown Prince and face of Jaigarh, I will take place of my father in the office Tomorrow."
"It's simple, Uday, take what comes today don't worry about tommorow, tommorow is a myth" I said to him, I know I gave him a pathetic answer but I don't know how else to actually ease his nervousness.
He never answered me, just relaxed his tensed shoulder.
We kept walking until it was midnight.
