Pokeverse 4.
Hey, Amber's waking you up again. Wave her off before you head for the island.
Blaine will be there, but due to old age retired. His trainee, Tika, will be willing to take you on to see if he's ready. While it is Fire type, he's not afraid of your water types. So send damage at damage before getting your badge.
Head for Viridian and meet Daisy's brother, Blue, who is getting annoyed by Daisy's "Torturing Her Younger Brother" before you face him in the gym.
Don't expect anything light. Blue is at least expected to have Arcanine, Exeggutor, Pidgeot, and Gyarados. But that's nothing. Joining him, he will either have Blastoise or Charizard. This determination is based on the type of starter you chose. Grass will mean Charizard and Fire/Water will mean Blastoise. He will close the team out with an Eeveelution. Again, your starter will determine it. Gen 1 = Jolteon(Water)/Flareon(Grass)/Vaporeon(Fire), Gen 2 = Umbreon(Fire/Water)/Espeon(Grass), Gen 4 = Glaceon(Grass)/Leafeon(Water), Gen 6 = Sylveon. If there's a starter not mentioned, Blue will automatically have either Umbreon, Sylveon or Flareon (Flareon will not be an option for any Water Starters while Umbreon and Sylveon will determine the Starter). Be wise with your battles before you get the badge.
After you finish, Blue will suggest you go up the mountain instead of going to the Indigo Plateau (The League's a little old). Daisy will join you, saying that the Mountain's empty and that the person he was suggesting has been seen in Kanto (i.e. the person you've been seeing.) You won't get a chance to answer their questions before you're knocked out.
