Coffafee // 3

Already three chapters in, and writer's block broke in.

Also time skip two days

Anyway enjoy

Alex's POV

After living with the three for a couple of days, Laf and Herc decided to introduce me to the others by arranging a meet for coffee. I, of course, went without question, because one: John's going, and two: coffee is the drink created by all the greek gods.

I bet Hades created it, or Aries, since they're almost as bitter as black coffee.

Yeah, I took English in middle school very seriously.

"Get up bitches! We're going!" A scream was heard outside John and I's dorm, and I snapped out of my thoughts, immediately recognizing Lafayette yelling.

I heard a groan, and looked to the other bed to see a shirtless John shifting in his blankets, his face turned to me.

I blushed, and took this as an opportunity to examine his freckles.

Each freckle was like a star, almost as if each one was carefully dotted onto his skin to form a constellation, until they all formed a galaxy of freckles.

His curly hazel hair was draped over his eyes, and stuck to one side of his face.

I stared at him for a bit, and sighed, closing my eyes and began to listen to his soft breathing.

A small scream was heard, and I turned to glare at Turtle, John's bird.

Honestly, I like the bird, he's adorable, but he just interrupted me admiring a very attractive man, and might have woken John up in the process.

After a few screaming from the bird, John woke up, stretched, exposing his freckled stomach, and sat up, scratching his neck, before spotting me and slouching, trying to hide his bare chest.

"Uhm-hi." He coughed, obviously embarrassed.

"It's fine, I will admit I enjoyed the view."

I smirked and got out of my bed and walked over to my clothes. After picking a green hoodie and blue jeans, I headed to the bathroom to change, leaving John a blushing mess.

When I came out ((haha you will sweetie)), John was in a white AD/DC shirt and grey sweatpants. His hair was put into a low bun, and his cheeks were still scarlet from his blushing.

I gave him a smile to ease his embarrassment, and headed out to the living room, where Herc and Laf sat on the couch, making out.

Laf was wearing a grey polo, his poofy hair slicked back into his signature ponytail, while he also wore black ripped jeans. Herc was wearing a red sleeveless shirt and had slipped on some tan shorts and sandals. On his head, we wore a grey beanie with a college logo on it.

"So romantic. Will you two stop being gay so I can get my damn coffee?" I asked, annoyed.

Laf rolled his eyes and got up, Herc following. He planted a kiss on his cheek before heading to the door.

Laf pursued after him, but not before mumbling a sly remark to me.

"Get used to it mon ami, just be glad it wasn't worse." He winked, smirking. I gagged, and followed him, closing the door once we were all out.

***oop time skip whoopsies***

The four of us walked into the café, the sweet smell of grounded coffee beans hitting my nose.

I smiled at the smell, and looked over the café, trying to spot the people Laf and Herc were friends with.

I felt a hand shake my shoulder, and I turned to see John.

"They found them over at the booths, come on."

I nodded and made my way over to the booth, sitting down next to John.

"Hello!" A bright voice snapped me into the present, and I looked across from me to see a black-haired girl in a blue sundress smiling at me. Her eyes were a warm gold, and her skin looked soft and smooth.

"Hi."

"You must be Alexander! Oh my goodness, look at you! You're so small and fragile!" She said, cooing at me. I plastered a fake smile, and looked over to see John, Laf, and Herc struggling to not laugh.

I groaned and shot them glares, before turning to the girl again.

"Yeah, um, cool. Who are you?"

"Oh, sorry! I'm Eliza, the cinnamon roll of the sisters, as they call me." The black haired girl said, extending her hand. I shook it, and a tall, tan-skinned girl took her place. She wore a pink crop-top and black leggings. Her sunglasses sat on her head, and her curly hair was groomed fairly well.

Instead of being soft and cuddly, this sister was dead serious, and straight up scary, but warmed up once I got to know her.

"Angelica Schuyler. Pleasure to meet you, sir."

"Likewise." I answered politely, grinning.

"Welcome to the cult, Hamfam." A new voice chanted. I looked over to see the same girl from the front desk a few days ago. This time she wore a white shirt with yellow sunflowers dotted on it. She wore short black shorts, and yellow sneakers.

"Are you Peggy?"

"You remember my name? Damn, that's the first time anyone remembered anything about me. Well, other than being the And Fucking Peggy of the sisters." The girl responded, genuinely surprised.

"Language, Peg." The eldest scolded, flicking Peggy with her straw wrapper.

Peggy rolled her eyes. "Calm your tits, Ang, I'm just a bit surprised, that's all. Besides, we're only here to get coffafee."

"What the fuck is coffa-"

"So," interrupted John, changing the subject. "I'm getting all the coffee, so tell me what you want. Starting with Alex."

Wolf whistles were heard from Laf and Herc's side of the table, and John shot them glares to shut them up. He turned back me, and put on a grin.

"Black coffee. Completely black, no sugar. Just black."

"Okay, but like...what the actual fuck? Like, how are you alive? That shit is gross." Peggy gagged, groaning.

"Shut up Peg, it's what he wants. Also, I assume you want the usual?" John responded, still looking at me, despite his head was turned toward Peggy.

"Mhm. Ang wants a Caramel Frappe, Eliza wants her usual."

"Got it."

"What do you get?" I asked John, a bit astounded on how he seems to know each of his friends coffee orders by memory.

John turned to him, and shrugged. "Depends on my mood, honestly. But, frequently, I've been getting the usual one cream, five sugars."

I smiled, and watched as he grinned, twinkling stars in his eyes.

He broke the trance when Laf and Herc told him what they wanted, and he headed over to order.

After John got the drinks, we talked and had our coffees,-er, coffafees, as Peggy wanted us to call them-Angelica added me to the group chat, I got everyone's contacts, and we were all energized and ready to start the day.

When we got back to the dorm, we ended up just laying around playing on our phones and binge watching old TMNT episodes, which were requested by John.

We ended the day by all of us sitting together and playing Never Have I Ever, which ended in all of us bringing out shot glasses, which ended in all of us asleep on the couch or floor, passed out.

What a day this was.
