Loki laughed as I attempted to zap him. Despite landing almost every shot it never kept him down for long. He seemed... Stronger somehow. His appearance and attitude had changed. His eyes blood red, his voice full of pure malice.  As I dealt another blow I watched in amazement as the lighting bounced off his hand and stuck a tree. Without giving me a chance to recover from shock he extended his hands with a laugh.

I dove to the right, but he predicted that and a ray of energy collided with my chest and rammed me into an Oak tree. Pain exploded in the back of my head and spots danced before my eyes. Then I was weightless-somehow Loki was lifting me into the air. Guiding me towards a spiraling hole that I knew to be a portal. As he released his hold on my body I flung my hammer towards Sly who I'd been dueling with when Loki arrived.  Desperately I tried to tell Sly to hide it, but my voice wouldn't work as I fell through the portal.

Then, everything went black.
