Although their hearts stopped for a bit when they heard the mysterious man's answer, both Trevor and Gregor were still astonished by the fact that the unknown figure knew Michael Hallett, Trevor's father, and Gregor's friend and savior. Trevor's face tightens as he continues to stare at his opponent across from him with a serious expression in his eyes.

"So you did know my father," Trevor finally responded, as a Pokeball magically appeared in the man in the red-black coat's hand. "How exactly did you know my father? How did you know he had a Keyblade?"

Sadly, instead of answering the young man's questions, the mysterious figure tosses his Pokeball into the air. A Classy Cat Pokemon appeared in front of its trainer. It gets into a battle stance and begins hissing at the young Pokemon Ranger and his Charizard. Trevor grunts in annoyance due to the mystery man not answering his questions.

"If you won't talk, then I will continue this battle for the truth!" Trevor stated as he took out Charizard's Pokeball and recalled his faithful starter.

"Why did you return Charizard?" A curious Gregor asked its trainer, while he put Charizard's Pokeball back on his belt.

"Well," Trevor begins to explain as he detaches an Ultra Ball from his belt. "I thought we would give our new friend another chance to battle. Don't you agree, Gregor?"

Gregor nodded as Trevor tossed the Ultra Ball into the air and out came the Strong Arm Pokemon. Bewear squeals with its arms waving in the air, excited to be battling once again. It then stares at the Persian across from it with a blank expression. However, the Classy Cat Pokemon continues to hiss at the Strong Arm Pokemon without being spooked by its opponent's blankless expression. After a few seconds of silence, Trevor makes the first move.

"Bewear, use Close Combat!" Trevor shouted, breaking the quietness of the area.

"Persian, dodge." The mysterious man calmly commanded his Pokemon.

Bewear dashes towards the classy cat Pokemon and proceeds to repeatedly punch and kick the Normal type Pokemon at a fast speed. However, Persian would quickly leap backward before a punch or kick could land a blow upon it. The Classy Cat Pokemon smirks at the Strong Arm Pokemon, who does not seem to have a reaction towards its opponent dodging its assault.

"Power Gem." The man in the red-black coat said in a soft voice, which his Pokemon was able to hear that command.

The jewel on Persian's forehead glows red and it fires a pale pink beam of energy with bright white energy around it from the jewel at the Strong Arm Pokemon.

"Quick! Deflect it!" Trevor countered, as Bewear's strong-arm slapped the Rock-type attack to the left, which hit the cave's crystal wall.

Persian was stunned to see its attack being deflected with just a slap from its Pokemon. The Classy Cat Pokemon shakes this feeling off and then stares at the Strong Arm Pokemon with a serious glare. As the Strong Arm Pokemon, it continues to look at its opponent with a blank expression. The man in the red-black coat is amazed at how Trevor's Bewear is difficult to figure out its emotions. He cannot use psychological torture against this Pokemon at all. Although it has proven to have a strong physical defense, the mysterious figure wonders how it will deal with a special attack.

"Persian, use Hyper Attack." The man said in a calm voice.

The Classy Cat Pokemon opens its mouth and an orange ball appears in front of it. It then fires an orange beam from the ball at Bewear.

"Dodge it!" Trevor shouted, hoping his Pokemon could dodge the powerful attack.

However, before Bewear could even move out of the way, the beam strikes the Strong Arm Pokemon, resulting in it making a pain-sounding squeal and falling to the ground on its back. Trevor is shocked and concerned about his Pokemon's condition after that attack.

"Bewear!" Trevor yelled out in a worrying tone of voice. "Are you alright? Can you still fight?"

A fallen Bewear then jumps off the ground and lands on its feet, while letting out a squeal to calm its trainer's nerves. After breathing a sigh of relief, Trevor gasped as he realizes this is a good opportunity for a counterattack.

"Persian can't move after a Hyper Beam! Bewear, use Swords Dance, and then, into Hammer Arm!" Trevor exclaimed with quickness in his voice.

First, twelve blue glowing swords circle Bewear. Red and orange lights shoot upwards in front of it and then balls of the same colored aura appear in front of the Strong Arm Pokemon, before disappearing, sharply raising its attack power.

Then, Bewear charges towards the stationary Classy Cat Pokemon with one of its arms glowing white. The Strong Arm Pokemon swings that arm in an upright motion directly underneath Persian's body, while landing a punch in the stomach. The Classy Cat Pokemon is sent flying upwards while crying out in great pain from the blow. While in the air, Persian was able to regain its composure and land safely with its paws on the ground. However, the Classy Cat Pokemon is starting to breathe heavily due to the damage it had taken from that powerful Fighting-type attack. The man in the red-black coat grunts in frustration, as he prepares to call out an attack.

"Urgh. Use Fury Swipes until Bewear can no longer endure the pain anymore." The mysterious man said with a growl in his voice.

A bruised Persian dashes towards the Strong Arm Pokemon, while it starts repeatedly slashing Bewear with its white glowing claws. Bewear holds its arms up in a defensive-pose while trying to protect its face from getting scratched. Although it's enduring the attack, Bewear is struggling to maintain its stamina from the endless assault of Fury Swipes. Trevor knew there was one way to end the pain for Bewear. He decides to act upon it.

"Now, Bewear! Hug Persian!" Trevor yelled out, which surprised the man in the red-black coat.

"What?" He responded as he watched the Strong Arm Pokemon pull Persian in for a bone-crushing hug.

The endless barrage of Fury Swipes was brought to an end through Bewear's hug of death. The embrace is crushing the already injured Classy Cat Pokemon with Bewear's strong arms. While Persian struggles for air, both Trevor and Gregor giggled a bit as they watch Bewear damage the opponent further with a hug. The mysterious man was not amused by this.

"This again? How dare you." He said with a soft growl to his opponent across from him.

"Alright, Bewear," Trevor started to say to his Pokemon, as he stopped giggling and restored the serious expression on his face. "Let's end this with Close Combat!"

Bewear nodded to its trainer as it released the bruised Persian from the embrace. However, the Strong Arm Pokemon would not give the Classy Cat Pokemon enough time to recover. Without warning, the Normal and Fighting-type Pokemon proceed to repeatedly punch and kick Persian at a fast speed. With every punch and kick to its body, the Classy Cat Pokemon's cries of pain got louder as they echoed throughout the cave. The assault continued; until eventually, Persian collapsed to the ground, and swirls appeared in its eyes. The man in the red coat growls at the outcome as he returns his fallen Pokemon to its Pokeball.

A relieved Trevor takes a deep breath, as he watches Bewear slowly walk back to him. Gregor looked at its trainer with concerned eyes.

"Is something bothering you?" Gregor asked Trevor, who turned to look at the Genetic Pokemon.

"Yeah," Trevor replied, before starting to explain. "Something about this guy's battling style seems familiar to me. However, I can't seem to remember why."

"Really?" Gregor responded with a shocked tone in its voice, as it glared over to the mysterious man across from them with curiosity burning within its eyes. "Who do you think he is?"

"I'm not sure, Gregor," Trevor responded with a sigh while being puzzled by the identity of their unknown opponent. "Hopefully, we can figure it out by the time this battle comes to an end."

"I hope so," The Genetic Pokemon said before they were interrupted by the soft voice of the man in the red-black coat.

"You're quite strong..." He stated, regarding Trevor's skills that he displayed so far in their battle. "However..."

"Huh?" Trevor said, in response to what the unknown figure is about to tell him.

"Your quest for the truth is like an endless abyss that you cannot climb out of. If you keep chasing for the truth, then you will be lost to the darkness..." The man in the red-black coat explained to the young Pokemon Ranger.

"Well," Trevor said with a small grin. "Maybe if you told me who you are, then this would be much easier for me to understand."

"There's so much to learn, yet you will understand so little." The mysterious figure argued with Trevor's suggestion. "Telling you now is something that I cannot do..."

"Why not? Please, explain!" Trevor shouted out of confusion towards the words coming out of their mysterious opponent's mouth.

Once again, instead of answering the young man's questions, he tosses a Pokeball into the air and what came out of it, surprised and stunned Trevor. His mouth was wide-opened as he took a look at the mysterious figure's next Pokemon, which was a Charizard. The man's Charizard lets out a mighty roar that causes Trevor, Bewear, and Gregor to feel the amount of power that it's expressing from that roar.

"Charizard?!" A surprised Trevor said as he regains his composure and looks at the unknown figure standing across from him. "You have a Charizard, too?!"

"Yes," The man in the red-black coat stated as he extends his arm out and points towards Trevor. "Let's see if you can defeat my powerful Charizard. Try all you like, but you will find it to be difficult, such as finding the truth."

"You don't scare me! I will take down your Charizard, and I will uncover the truth of your identity!" Trevor declared with a sense of confidence in his voice, while Gregor nodded in agreement with its trainer and Bewear let out a serious squeal as well.

"Show me your strength." The mysterious man stated as Trevor makes the first move.

"Thunder Punch! Go!" Trevor shouted, as Bewear charges towards the Flame Pokemon with one of its arms covered with yellow electricity.

"Dodge it, and then use Fire Blast." The unknown figure commanded his Pokemon with a calm voice.

The man's Charizard flies upward while getting away from the Strong Arm Pokemon's attack. Bewear looks up and notices the Flame Pokemon taking in a deep breath and then releasing a ball of yellow-orange fire from its mouth. The ball of fire then turns into an 大-shaped flame that is fired upon the terrified Strong Arm Pokemon standing below the Fire and Flying-type Pokemon. The flames consumed Bewear while inflicting painful burns to its body. Inside the flames, all Trevor could hear are the sounds of his Pokemon crying out in extreme pain.

"Bewear! Please stay strong!" Trevor begged his Pokemon to endure the flames as hard as it could.

"End it with Brick Break." The man in the red-black coat said to his Pokemon, without showing mercy towards the burning Strong Arm Pokemon.

Charizard dives down to the burned Bewear, while one of its fists glows bluish-white. With the momentum from the dive, the Flame Pokemon punches Bewear's face hard in the face. The impact of the punch and flames upon its body caused Bewear to collapse to the ground with swirls in its eyes. Trevor gasped in horror after witnessing a brutal assault against his beloved Pokemon. He quietly recalls his unconscious Pokemon to its Pokeball.

"You did an awesome job today, Bewear," Trevor praised his fallen Pokemon while looking at its Pokeball. "Now, take a nice long rest."

As Trevor put Bewear's Pokeball back onto his belt, he felt a hand touching his shoulder pad. He turned and noticed it was Gregor's hand. Gregor's face expressed seriousness which Trevor saw immediately.

"His Charizard is very strong. I suggest we use a Pokemon that has a type advantage over it." Gregor stated as Trevor nodded in agreement with the Genetic Pokemon's suggestion.

"You read my mind, Gregor," Trevor responded as he grabs a Pokeball from his belt and tosses it into the air. "Clawitzer! Let's go!"

When the light from the Pokeball faded away, it revealed a crustacean Pokémon that resembles a bright blue shrimp. Clawitzer's body is divided into several segments by black ridges and there are three small spikes behind its head. It has semicircular, yellow eyes, a black stripe across its face, and three-pointed mandibles. Its tail consists of three rectangular fins: two black ones and one bright blue one. Although it lacks legs, Clawitzer does have two clawed arms. The left claw is smaller and is dark blue with a black stripe along the back and a yellow tip. The right claw is a pincer larger than Clawitzer's body. The pincer is dark blue with a pair of thin, yellow antennae on top, three overlapping segments with a black stripe along the back edge, and four black spikes attached to the back of the last segment. The movable lower portion of the pincer is yellow.

The Howitzer Pokémon glares at its opponent, who then gives it an intimidating glare back at the Water-type Pokemon. Although its body shook a bit, Clawitzer was able to regain its composure and get into a battle stance. The man in the red-black coat chuckled a bit, which confuses both Trevor and Gregor.

"You think a Water-type will save you from my Charizard's power." The man explained, once he stopped chuckling, and then called out an attack order. "Charizard, use Fire Blast."

"Quick, Clawitzer! Dive into the lake!" Trevor shouted to his Pokemon, who immediately dives into the lake, to avoid the Flame Pokemon's Fire Blast attack.

When the flames are extinguished, Charizard flies over to the lake and hovers over the watery surface, searching for its opponent.

"Aqua Jet!" Trevor yelled out a command.

From below the hovering Charizard, Clawitzer emerges, while being surrounded in a veil of water. It then shoots directly towards the surprised Flame Pokemon, while striking it in the chest. Charizard lets out a small roar of pain, but it quickly recovers from the blow. However, it would seem Clawitzer was not done yet.

"Now, use Dragon Pulse!" Trevor quickly said, hoping to strike another blow to the mysterious man's Charizard.

Clawitzer forms a ball of multicolored energy in its large claw and fires a multicolored dragon-shaped beam of energy from it at the Flame Pokemon.

"Counter it with Fire Blast." The man in the red coat responded to the Dragon-type attack.

Charizard fires a ball of yellow-orange fire, that was 大-shaped, at the incoming Dragon Pulse. It collided with the beam of energy which resulted in an explosion to occur at the center of those attacks. When the smoke cleared, the Howitzer Pokémon had vanished back into the lake.

"Sword Dance! Clawitzer!" Trevor shouted to his Pokemon, who can hear his commands while underwater, as the entire lake, suddenly glows light blue. It also exposed Clawitzer's location, which made the mysterious man grin a bit. However, once the light faded away, Clawitzer quickly swims away from that spot and starts circling the hovering Flame Pokemon who does not know where Clawitzer will come out from the lake.

"Time to end this! Crabhammer! Go!" Trevor stated as he gave Clawitzer what he thinks would be the final attack.

Just as Clawitzer jumped out of the water, with its big claw becoming surrounded in water. Charizard quickly turned around, and then, it heard its trainer's soft voice.

"Grab it." The mysterious figure said, which the Flame Pokemon dodges the Water-type attack and then grabs the claw of the Howitzer Pokémon.

Trevor gasped as he witnessed the mysterious man's Charizard holding Clawitzer's claw in a tight grip, with no signs of hesitation coming from the smirking Flame Pokemon. The young Pokemon Ranger's eyes expressed concern for his trapped Pokemon as it is defenseless and too close to the Flame Pokemon.

"Charizard, use Thunder Punch, and keep using it until Clawitzer can no longer endure it." The man in the red-black coat said to his Charizard, which made Trevor gasped in horror and his eyes started expressing fear towards his poor Pokemon.

Charizard's fist and body become outlined by yellow electricity. Charizard then repeatedly punches Clawitzer with its free fist, while his other hand continues to hold the Howitzer Pokémon in a tight grip. For every electrified punch to the body, Clawitzer's cries of pain become louder and louder with no hopes of the brutal assault ending. Trevor could only watch and grunt in frustration as he viewed the onslaught happening before his very eyes. There was nothing he could do to help his Pokemon.

Eventually, after several more punches, Charizard releases the claw of the motionless Howitzer Pokémon, and its body splashes into the lake and floats back up to the surface. Clawitzer was knocked out and is groaning in pain from the onslaught of Thunder Punches. Upon viewing the sight of the unconscious Howitzer Pokémon, a small grin formed on the shadow-covered face of the man in the red-black coat. Trevor grunts in frustration as he returns his fallen Pokemon to its Pokeball.

"You did your best, Clawitzer," Trevor said to comfort his knocked out Pokemon. "Now, get a good rest."

"Is that the best you got, child of Michael Hallett?" The mysterious man taunted his opponent, who glares at him with an expression of frustration and annoyance across his face.

"I have a name, you know!" Trevor responded angrily at his opponent. "It's Trevor! And I'm just getting warmed up here."

Trevor quickly grabs a Pokeball from his belt and tosses it into the air.

"I'm counting on you, Charizard!" Trevor exclaimed as his own Charizard appeared in front of him, while it let out a thunderous roar that shook the ground.

The roar does not intimidate the mysterious figure's Charizard at all. It did not even flinch. The two Charizard then start staring at each other with fierce determination burning in their eyes. The two Flame Pokemon want to defeat the other and not disappoint their trainers. They both want to make their trainers proud of them.

"I remember starting my journey with a Charmander, just like you and your father did," The mysterious man stated which got Trevor's attention.

"You did, as well?" Trevor asked the man in the red-black coat.

"Yes, but sadly my memory is all a blur to me." The unknown figure explained to the puzzled Pokemon Ranger. "I cannot remember my past all that well. Only a few memories stayed with me. However, as I traveled this world, memories of my past life are slowly coming back to me."

"What kinds of memories?" Trevor asked with a serious tone of curiously expressed through his voice.

"For instance," The man started to say while extending his hand outward. "The powerful bond I shared with my beloved Charizard..."

At that moment, a Key Stone and Charizardite X suddenly appears in the palm of the mysterious man's hand. A stunned Trevor gasped as he knew what the mysterious man was about to do. The unknown man tosses the Mega Stone to his Charizard, who catches it. After that, he then activates the Key Stone, which also activates the Mega Stone that Charizard now holds. Beams of lights came out of both the Key Stone and Charizard's Mega Stone. The lights meet with each other in between the trainer and his Pokemon.

As the bright light consumes the mysterious man's Charizard, its appearance begins to drastically change. When the light faded away, the transformation was completed, and now, the unknown figure's Charizard had become Mega Charizard X. It lets out a thunderous powerful roar that pushes Trevor back a bit due to the overwhelming power of that roar. As Trevor regains his composure, his eyes continue to stare fiercely into the eyes of his mysterious opponent, who's maintaining an assertive posture.

"Now then, can your Charizard handle the power of my Mega Charizard X?" The mysterious man confidently asks his stunned opponent.

Trevor looks down at his Mega Ring, which has his Key Stone in it. He then turns to both his Charizard and Gregor, who gave him an assured nod and Charizard as well. Trevor nodded both of them back, as he refocused his attention to the man in the red-black coat that stood across from him.

"Your Charizard may have Mega Evolved, but my Charizard is still pretty strong, even when it's not in its Mega Evolved form!" Trevor proclaimed as he challenges Mega Charizard X without mega evolving his Charizard.

"So be it..." The unknown figure responded as he called out the first attack. "Charizard, use Thunder Punch."

Mega Charizard X flies towards the Flame Pokemon with one of its fists being surrounded by yellow sparks, which grows into a ball of electrical energy.

"Dodge that, and then use Dragon Pulse!" Trevor shouted, as his Charizard evaded the electrified punch by quickly flying upwards.

Mega Charizard X immediately flies upwards as well, while its fist is still covered with yellow sparks. Trevor's Charizard fires a multicolored dragon-shaped beam of energy from its mouth directly at Mega Charizard X's head. The beam of energy manages to make contact with the charging Mega Evolved Pokemon, preventing it from punching Charizard with its electrified punch. The blow caused Mega Charizard X to roar out in pain for a bit; but then, it regained its composure in the air. While shaking off the damage from that attack, Mega Charizard X glares at its rival with anger burning in its eyes. Trevor's Charizard stares back at the mysterious figure's Charizard with burning determination in its eyes, while still maintaining cautiousness towards its opponent.

"Charizard, Air Slash! Let's go!" Trevor yelled out, as Charizard's wings started glowing light blue. It then flaps its wings, firing multiple light-blue glowing blades of energy from them at its opponent.

"Punch them back." The mysterious man commanded his Charizard.

Mega Charizard X proceeds to punch the blades of energy back to their user with its electrified fists. When the electrified fist punches the blades of energy, they've also become surrounded with yellow sparks of electricity. As the electrified blades were launched back towards the regular Charizard, a small grin formed on Trevor's face. This puzzled the man in the red-black coat who noticed it.

"Charizard, use your tail to knock them back!" Trevor exclaimed, which surprised the mysterious man.

Charizard then started swinging its tail, which hit the blades of energy, while also knocking them back towards Mega Charizard X. The electrified blades struck the body of the Flame Pokemon, which resulted in it letting out a soft groan of pain and its body is now covered with yellow sparks.

"That's some power..." The mysterious man stated as he observed this turn of events and the big smirk on Trevor's face. "No matter. Charizard, use Fire Blast."

"Charizard, counter that with Flamethrower!" Trevor shouted, as his Charizard let out a stream of fire, while Mega Charizard fired a 大-shaped ball of yellow-orange fire.

The two Fire-type attacks collided, causing an explosion to occur at the epicenter. Just before the smoke cleared; all of a sudden, Mega Charizard X charges out of the smoke, with one of its fists covered in yellow electricity, and punches Trevor's Charizard's belly.

"Oh no! Charizard!" Trevor shouted as he watched his Charizard get hurt and heard his faithful Pokemon let out a roar of pain.

As Charizard tries to shake off the pain from that punch, the mysterious man, without giving Trevor's Flame Pokemon any time to breathe, gives his Mega Charizard X an attack command.

"Giga Impact." The mysterious man calmly said.

Trevor gasped in horror as he watched Mega Charizard X's body become surrounded in a purple aura with yellow stripes of aura spiraling around the purple aura. The Flame Pokemon then charges directly towards a still shaken Charizard, who does not have enough time to get out of the way.

"Charizard! Dodge that now!" Trevor shouted out of desperation for his Pokemon to avoid getting hit by Giga Impact.

However, it was too late. Mega Charizard X slammed into Trevor's Charizard's body. The blow caused Trevor's Charizard to cry out in agony and also send it flying into the depths of the cave's waters. Both Trevor and Gregor were horrified and concerned when they saw Charizard crash and land into the waters.

"Oh no..." Gregor responded in a somber tone in its voice while looking at its trainer, whose face now expresses fear, worry, and doubt, regarding his Charizard's current condition.

"Charizard!!" Trevor exclaimed out of desperation, as he's about to jump into the depths, in hopes to rescue his beloved Pokemon

However, he was stopped by Gregor's firm hand on his shoulder. Trevor turned to look at his Pokemon with a confused expression on his face.

"Gregor! What are you doing?" Trevor asked the Genetic Pokemon with his voice expressing confusion over its actions. "I have to save Charizard before he-!"

"Trevor! Listen!" Gregor interrupts Trevor, who calms down a bit so that Gregor could explain why it stopped him. "Look..."

The Genetic Pokemon pointed to the spot in the waters where Charizard crashed into, where Trevor immediately notices bubbles of air quickly appearing. The mysterious figure noticed this as well, and he too was puzzled about what's going on here. Eventually, something comes out of the waters, as it erupts with water flying everywhere. Trevor and Gregor looked up to see what had emerged from the waters. To their relief and delight, it was Charizard, who let out a triumphant roar for enduring the watery depth and surviving to tell the tale.

"Charizard! You're alright!" Trevor states as his Charizard flies back to its trainer and lands in front of him. Trevor stares at his beloved Pokemon with eyes of amazement and wonderment, over its achievement. "You've never ceased to amaze me, old friend."

This praise earned a smile from the Flame Pokemon. Trevor nodded at his Pokemon, while his face started to express determination and seriousness as his attention got back to the battle at hand.

"Now then," Trevor said to his faithful Pokemon. "Let's finish this battle together! What do you say, old friend?"

Charizard nodded in agreement with its trainer, as it turned to face its Mega Evolved rival once again with fierce determination burning in its eyes. Mega Charizard X stares at its rival with fierce determination as well, but also, there is a bit of amazement that covers that determination like the frosting all over a cake. The mysterious man was astonished by what he had just witnessed.

"Their bond must be that powerful if it allowed that Charizard to endure the torturous watery depths." The man stated, regarding the events he just witnessed. "However, how much more pain can it endure?"

Both Trevor's Charizard and Mega Charizard X were breathing heavily as both are almost completely exhausted. One of them is about to lose this battle, and neither of them wants to face that defeat. They both want this battle to end with their victory, but there can be only one who can accomplish that.

Charizard is running out of steam. I need to figure out how to deal with Mega Charizard X's powerful attacks. Trevor was deep in his thoughts when he noticed yellow sparks flying off of the mysterious figure's Charizard's body. He also notices a fiery aura surrounding his Charizard's body. After viewing those sights of hope, a big smirk formed across his face, and then he refocuses his attention back to the battlefield. The soft voice of his mystifying opponent snapped him brought him back to reality.

"I admire your bravery, Charizard; but now, I'm afraid it's over." The man in the red-black coat proclaimed as he gave his Charizard what he believes to be the final attack. "Use Thunder Punch."

Just when Mega Charizard X was about to attack, yellow sparks of electricity suddenly covered its entire body that was preventing it from attacking.

"Paralyzed? How?" The mysterious man questioned his opponent who gave him a chuckle, before explaining to him how his Pokemon got paralyzed.

"It was your own fault," Trevor stated, which shocked his mysterious opponent. "Remember the Thunder Punch-powered Air Slash that struck your Charizard?"

The mysterious man gasped as he realized that his Charizard got paralyzed when he tried to counter the Air Slash attack with Thunder Punch, and that backfired against him. The realization caused him to grunt in frustration.

"Yep," Trevor responded to his opponent's frustrated grunting. "Because of that, Mega Charizard X got itself paralyzed from its own counterattack."

"Now, Charizard!" Trevor exclaimed as he prepared to attack against the paralyzed Mega Charizard X. "Use Dragon Pulse!"

Trevor's Flame Pokemon fires a multicolored dragon-shaped beam of energy from its mouth at the immobilized Flame Pokemon. The beam hits its mark directly upon Mega Charizard X, who lets out a growl of pain as a result. However, the paralyzed Mega Evolved Pokemon remains standing on its feet. The two Pokemon were breathing heavily. Their trainers knew that if they got hit with one more attack, it would be over for them. With that thought in their minds, the two trainers both called out their most powerful attacks.

"Blast Burn!"

Mega Charizard X's body becomes surrounded in a purple aura with yellow stripes of aura spiraling around the purple aura. The Flame Pokemon then charges towards Trevor's Charizard, who forms a big ball of red-orange fire in its mouth, and then fires a giant red-orange flame towards the charging Mega Charizard X. The two powerful attacks collided as the two are locked in a stalemate with neither side giving up the struggle. Eventually, the collision caused a big explosion to occur at the center of those two attacks. A big cloud of smoke covered the whole area, as both trainers awaited for the results of the collision of their most powerful attacks. All they both know is that once the smoke clears, only one of their Charizards will be left standing.
