~Y/N POV~

My eyes shot open from the sudden alertness and I sat up instantly which so happened startled a middle aged nurse that was stood beside my bed. She yelped in fright, a hand over her heart and stepped back with eyes wide.

"My gosh you almost gave me a heart attack." Nurse

My mind flooded with thoughts of my friends. How are they? Are they okay? What happened to Hoseok? Did they all die?

"Where are my friends? I have to go see them."

I was already throwing my legs over the edge of the bedside but the nurse panics and rushes to me to lightly press me back by the shoulders trying to force me to lay back down but I was resistant.

"I'm sorry miss y/n but you must rest. You're body has been through a lot." Nurse

I frowned at her. I wasn't touched by the wolves and I'm not in any pain to think I received injuries after I passed out. Although the nurse keeps smiling at me as she looks me up and down my body, sitting back against the pillows.

"I'm fine now can you please tell me what's happened to my friend? Are they here? (Gasp) are they dead?!"

My voice was raising with panic and I pushed the nurses hand away but there was a glass shattering from behind her on the window that caught our attention. The nurse and I both flinched to the sound and she turns around just to now see a broken glass vase on the window. The bottom half still sitting on the window sil and the rest was scattered on the ground. How did that happen?

"Oh deary me, that's unusual. I better clean that up, Miss y/n please stay in your bed and rest. I'll explain when I come back." Nurse

She gestures with a wave of the hand to stay put and I watch her leave but stood up from the bed but as I walked around the bed itself I was pulled back with wires connected to my body. I groaned in annoyance and began to pull of the sticker wires on my body but interrupted when another person come in removing his police hat off his head as he enters.

"Miss Choi? My name is Officer Li, may i come in?" Officer Li

I slowly and uncertainly nod at him watching him press a forced smile and step in further. I backed up away from him and sat back down on the bed. Maybe this guy can tell me what I need to know?

"Sir can you tell me what happened? Are my friends alive? Also do you know if my parents are here?"

The man sighs and sits back against the seat, placing his hat on the nearby table next to him.

"What do you remember first of all miss Choi?" Officer Li

I fiddled with my fingers as I remembered the vicious wolves that attacked my friends.

"We were attacked by wolves. Myself and three of my friends were able to run away but they caught up to us. My friend Jung Hoseok was the last one to be attacked and I passed out and I don't know why."

I shrugged the last part.

"Well indeed there was a wolf attack judging by the condition your friends were in. You were all found by a few teenagers tracking through the woods this morning. Your families are currently on the way here and have been notified so they'll be with you very soon." Officer Li

Oh.

"But what about my friends? They're okay right?"

The officer opened his mouth to speak but stopped when the nurse came back in with a pan and brush in her hands still showing that same smiling face she had earlier but it grows when she sees officer Li. They both smile at one another but I swear when I looked at Officer Li, his eyes twinkled this weird yellow colour that I know is unnatural colour for any person to have.

"Oh? Chul? Hello there." Nurse

"Hello Hara." Officer Li

These two know each other more than they let on don't they? I can just tell but the officers eyes weirded me out so I stayed staring at him suspiciously.

"Sir, are my friends okay?"

I asked him again and he shook his head as if just coming back to reality instead of giving the nurse googly eyes as she went to the back of the room to clean up the mess of the glass.

"Oh yes I'm sorry about that. To answer you question, they are okay. Could be much better but they are alive." Officer Li

I cheered in delight and stood up from the bed to stand again but the officer stood up quickly and blocked the door with his large body.

"But they are resting right now miss." Officer Li

I frowned at him with a slight glare and hands in hips.

"But that wouldn't stop me from checking on them right?"

I tried to get around him but he stepped in front of me again. My stubborn self was determined to see for myself they were fine and I was getting pissed with this guy already.

"Miss Y/n they are sleeping right now. You can see them when they wake up and myself or another nurse will let you see them when they do, now please sit down." Nurse

I only stared at the Officer that gave me challenging look that I didn't like. I scoffed at him and waved my hand at him as I turn but I saw in the corner of my eye how he stumbled back randomly but caught himself by the door. I looked at the nurse who stood there with the brush in her hand but staring at the Officer with widen eyes but when she noticed me she simply forced a smile and I sat back on the bed.

One thing for sure is that these two are weird alright.

"You promise I can see them when they wake up?"

I asked the nurse directly and she nods to bend back down to the glass to sweep it up.

"Yes I promise." Nurse

I took a deep breath feeling satisfied with her answer. I just want to see them but no know that they are still alive and okay after what just happened made me feel at ease.

"I shall be going now but if you have any other questions or enquires just come find me. Just call the station and ask for my name." Officer Li

I only nod taking in that information but I don't see why I would. I mean it was only wolves even if I cant understand what happened before I passed out, but maybe I was just hallucinating after being in shock over what was happening?

The officer then leaves after picking his hat back up and now it was just the nurse and I in the room. She continued to sweep up the glass in silence and I sit thinking over what happened. Where did that white light come from? It was from me right? But how? I don't understand how that was possible and then to think a wolf also died someone because of it also raised more questions.

"Miss Y/n, don't worry about what happened. It's over now but can I just say that one last thing?" Nurse

I nodded at her, watching her walk around my bed towards the door with a pan filled with broken glass.

"What happened last night with all of you was only the beginning." Nurse

She smiles widely at me and quickly leaves the room shutting the door behind her before I could say anything more about what she said. What the hell does that mean?
