Shantivan, a name everyone in India knows belongs to the one and only Raizada family. At the mention of the name Raizada, everyone knew that it was a name no one dare mess with because of their influence. For the outside world, everything looked perfect, richness, fame,luxury and money. Only if they knew that with in the fore walls of the majestic mansion there was no peace or happiness.

Nani is getting old and sickly, praying for a long life just to see her grandsons unite with their wives.

Mami has changed drastically but that change came too late, gone was the woman who gave more importance to her so-called kitty parties, countless unnecessary spa appointments and status. She knew better now that those things doesn't matter more than her son and nephew's happiness which she played a major part in it destruction. A realization that came too late and almost cost her not only her husband but the family she got through it. All she could do now is pray, hope and wait.

Anjali was now wallowing in her own guilt for letting Shyam and Dadi influence her in destroying the happiness in her family's life. Khushi once called her a villain and today she realized she was indeed right. She was a villain throughout this story and wished she could turn back time to undo all the harm she had done. She felt sick each and every time she remembered the past and was unable to stand the look of hate and disgust she got from her family but she knew she deserved it as she brought it upon herself. She destroyed the family that was willing to sacrifice themselves for her, took advantage of their love and care and made a fool out of them. She knew that the first step to redemption was to be confident and independent so taking advantage of a ground breaking surgery she is able to walk properly now. And applied for a job at PK Designs as head designer.

Manohar, could only pray for them as he blame this frequent travelling for what had happened even though he left the family with his mother. He still should have been able to read in between the lines. But he failed miserably at it. And just like the others he could only pray, wish and hope.

NK, was also living in guilt, for not speaking up when needed. Even though he pretends to hate his family,he knew deep down he couldn't hate them, as they are all in pain especially Arnav who not only lost his love but his sister as well. He also felt guilty for Arnav's reclusive lifestyle since he showed him the video of that fateful day out of anger and hurt. This made Arnav halt all his search for Khushi as he thought he didn't deserve her. Since than Arnav never went out, he chose to lock himself up in his room filled with Khushi's pictures.

Akash, the once shy and timid guy has turned into a stone cold man. He barely speaks to anyone except for his big and small brothers. He knew his cowardice was to be blamed. But most importantly he acknowledged his part in the destruction of his marriage. He fears for this big brother's reclusive lifestyle which even made the media brand him as dead until he gave a statement to halt it. He watch on as his once workaholic brother neglect the company he has worked hard to build. Arnav rarely got out unless it has something to do with PK Designs,the fashion house they both built in honor of their wives taste and preference. He was furious when he discovered what Nk did but with time he realized he couldn't blame NK as he would have probably done the same. PK designs was his and Arnav's only saving grace after Payal and Khushi's departure. Arnav has completely ignored AR and if not for Aman and NK's intervention it will have been bankrupt. Even though Arnav halted the search on Khushi and Payal he still continued and found them in Pretoria but couldn't gather the courage to approach them. (NB: the existence of the kids is not known to others except for a few close friends of the Guptas).

Arnav, The once ruthless, egotistic and arrogant man was gone and replaced with a timid and reclusive man who sent his days wallowing in his misery. That day he wanted to go back to his love but the conspiracy of his own sister prevented him from doing so. He has the physical and emotional scars to show for Anjali's crimes against him. If he hated his father than he hated Anjali even more. He knew he should have thought rationally but the scars of the past took over his senses and again repeated his mistakes of leaving his love to face the world alone. He convinced himself that he didn't deserve Khushi after watching the video of their disastrous remarriage over and over again.
The family was furious and disappointed at him for stopping the search for his wife and sister in law and living a reclusive life, only if they knew all of it was a defense mechanism to change himself from the so called ASR image he created to prove to his enemies that he was a force to reckon with but deep down he was yearning to be the lovable and jovial boy he was before his mother's suicide and khushi was the only one who made him feel that sense of peace but then again the demons of the past wouldn't let him be as he has also encouraged them to over power him therefore he thought his callous deeds against Khushi will make her go away from him. But DESTINY has other plans.

For the past months since that horrible day the Raizadas have lost not only their happiness but their peace and just like every morning like today, they all sat to have their breakfast.

Nani, Mama, mami, Anjali, NK, Akash and Arnav sat at their respective places having their breakfast in silence. The silence in the dinning room was broken by Arnav.

"Akash how is the upcoming project going"

"It going well as planned and on schedule, Nk and his team are ready and so is Mrs Jha (at the mention of Mrs Jha, Anjali's flinched and cringed inwardly,even though she was supposed to be used to it by now she couldn't stop her reaction to it and especially when that is how his brothers now address her since her heinous crime was discovered but she has learned to keep a straight face each and every time she was addressed as Mrs Jha)and her team are also ready. What's left is the jewelry brand Mr Sood wants to use in addition to our designs. " replied Akash in a cold and serious tone whilst looking at his brother, who only left his reclusive life behind and transforms into ASR mode when it has to do with PK Designs.

Even eating with them became a problem but an earful of reprimands from his father and NK was enough for him to at least have breakfast and on rare occasions dinner with them.

"So which jewelry brand has been chosen for the collaboration" asked Arnav, whose undivided attention was on Akash.

" Mr Sood said we will know when they accept the proposal and let us know, but don't worry bhai you know he is a good investor and businessman and will never give out such a proposal if it wasn't worth his money and time, so we can be assured of an amazing brand." Akash assured him.

"Will you be joining us for the collaboration? Akash asked and
Arnav nodded in response.

" At least this will take you out of that disastrous lifestyle you have adopted " thought Akash

Arnav them stood up to leave when a panting and sweaty Hari Prakash and Om Prakash burst in from the main door through the Hall to the dinning room which halted Arnav in his tracks and made the others stand up from their chairs in confusion.

At that moment everyone knew that something horrible may have happened because of their state.

Akash and Nk led the brothers who have over the past few months became family to them, and led them to the hall and after they had drank the water brought to them by Arnav and calmed down, Akash questioned them.

"What happened? Why are you guys like this? asked Akash in a panicky voice.

But both brothers stared at each other which made an already anxious Arnav made and he yelled for the first time in months since his face off with Anjali in regards to her conspiracy.
" Answer him dammit " scaring the Prakash brothers and everyone present.

"We went to Laxminagar to visit a relative when we heard from one of the neighbour say that Madhumatiji suffered a severe heart and has been admitted at City hospital. " answered a scared Hari Prakash

This sent gasp and shock to all and a distressed Arnav staggered back with the effect of his word but was held by Akash

"I failed Akash, I failed! I couldn't even take care of my in law, and look at what happened to her. Am a failure Akash...... Am a failure" whispered a devastated Arnav

This left everyone with a teary eyes with some already shedding tears

"Am also a failure bhai, we were so lost in over misery that we neglected our responsibility towards our in law. " whispered an equally devastated Akash

"Enough" shouted Manohar who had had enough of his spineless son and nephew. "Instead of this remorse ,start by doing the right thing by going to the hospital and fulfilling your responsibility. And you both better listen to me especially you Arnav if I find you mopping around again in pity I will personally strangle you both, understood! "

This scared Arnav and Akash who for the first time heard Manohar yell as no matter the situation he always kept a cool demeanor.

But they knew he was right especially Arnav.

So together with Nk and Manohar they moved to the hospital to visit Madhumati.

The Raizada women with the exception of Anjali wanted to came but was forbade by Manohar.

For Nani her ill health was used and for Manorama it was her and Madhumati's inability to get along, even when Mami protested that she has changed, she still wasn't allowed to follow and was tasked with the responsibility of taking care of Nani, and for Anjali she knew better not to intrude and run to her room in tears as Nani and Mami watched on.

"Will they ever forgive her" Nani asked in a hurt and sad voice as her illness has made her more emotional.

"Hello hi bye bye I don't knowwa, she brought itz on hershelf" answered Mami who moved Nani to her room leaving the Prakash brothers behind.

"Why didn't u tell them that Payalji and Khushiji were coming" questioned an annoyed JP

"We must not interfere with destiny, we have done our part so let it take it cause. Understood! " answered HP and JP nodded in agreement and they both moved to the kitchen to start their work

HP was right about destiny taking it cause and it has started. But will be fulfilled at a disastrous cost.

They say Karma is a b***h and it will hit the Raizadas at an unimaginable scale.

If they thought life has been bad to them, then they were wrong, as DESTINY is about to make it worst for them and some might not even survive to see it happy ending.

Sorry guys I know this is a short update and probably not good enough but I wanted to give something this week. Work and my brother's upcoming wedding has made me extremely busy but I promise to give a better update next time. So please pardon me.
