Nani and Manorama sat in the hall, confused as to the reason why Hariprakash had called them down. Nani was looking more paler than before because of her sickness and Anjali. She for the first time wanted so bad to convince Arnav she has change but to no avail. It hurts her and Mami not being able to play with the children, Nani knew she deserves whatever she was getting but Manorama being the naive and stupid woman has finally hit the last straw and she was about to pay dearly for it.

"Hello hi bye bye..... Sasuma... Do you know why Arnav and Akash bitwa called us here? "Manorama asked Nani who turned to Manohar who was sitting down on the opposite sofa facing them.

" Manohar..... Why did Arnav call us here?" Nani asked but Manohar just looked at them without altering a word.

Making both women shut up and decided to wait. Shortly after that Arnav and Akash came down.

Immediately Nani saw them she stood up and asked.

"Arnav..... What's wrong?.... Is Anju alright? "

Arnav and Akash looked at her in disgust. She claim to have changed but here she hasn't seen her grandsons in days and the only person she is worried for is the person she met just yesterday.

" Mrs Devyani Singh Raizada..... Please sit down..... You beloved Anju is alright..... After all she is the slitting image of your beloved Ratna. " Arnav said mockingly and that was when Nani realised her blunder and was about to speak but was stopped by Arnav. " Please don't start with your fake speech..... I called both of you here for something else..... (Arnav paused and looked at his uncle seeking for his permission to continue and he nodded.) " I called both of you here because I and Akash have decided to forgive both of you for all the atrocities and injustice done against us..... " Arnav was about to continue when he was cut off by Mami.

"Hello hi bye bye..... You hear that Sasuma.... Our Arnav and Akash bitwa has forgiven us.... So now we can be closer to our grandchildren... " Mami said to Nani who nodded at her words with teary eyes. Both were so caught up in their so called victory to notice the deathly glares they were getting from the three men. Manohar having enough of it yelled.

"Enough you two..... Just because they forgave you that doesn't mean you are going anywhere near my grandkids especially with the stunt the two of you pulled on the day of Anjali's trial. "

Nani and Mami gulped seeing the deadly glare from Arnav and Akash and immediately thought Anita told them what they did.

"Arnav bitwa...... Anitaji lied to you beta...... We didn't do anything. " Mami lied trying to cover up what they did.

"Enough Maa..... She didn't tell us but we found out through Hariprakash who told us how you and Nani trapped mu Ankush in the store room to make it look like Garimaji and Anitaji were incompetent but both of you forgot the CCTV installed in the house that caught your evil deeds..... They caught both of you and confronted you but then decided to hid your deeds from us to avoid any more fiction between our already fragile relationship but look at the way you are lying pretending as if you are innocent...... This was the last straw and both of you need to be punished. " Akash yelled at them and they looked down in shame but were shocked when Akash said punishment. Mami and Nani went on their knees to beg but it fell on deaf ears.

Manohar signalled Arnav and Akash to leave them. After they had left Manohar took a file on center table and gave it to Manorama. She opened it and was shocked by it content and what broke her heart even more was that Manohar's signature was already on it. She left the file and again went on her knees begging Manohar not to do that to her. Nani who was confused took the file and it content shocked her. It was a divorce papers already signed by Manohar. Nani was about to speak but Manohar raised his hand and stopped her.

He stood up to leave but Mami's hold on his leg was making it difficult. He tried prying her off but couldn't because of her tight grip but what Mami said next gave him a strength to push her off.

"Please don't do this to me..... What will I tell my friends..... I will be a laughing stock among them..... Please don't do this else my reputation will be destroyed..... They will all laugh at me. "

Nani was shocked by what Manorama said and for the first time in years she regretted for forcing Manohar to marry Manorama because of which he lost the woman he loved.

Manohar looked at her in disgust but wasn't surprised at her statement because he knew she was a gold digger because she never care that he never loved her nor been intimate with her since their first time that resulted in the birth of Akash. As long as she had money to spend frivolously she cared less of their marriage but her and his mother's stunt is the final straw. He warned then several times but they didn't listen. But today he will make everything right.
He pushed Mami with all her strength making her fall backwards.

"You are disgusting..... I am divorcing you and instead of finding a way to make this work.... You are more interested in what you so called friends will say..... Shameless woman..... You better sign it or else I will have you arrested for domestic abuse against Khushi and Payal. But don't worry I will pay you enough to leave as you are now for the rest of your wretched life...... You (Pointing to Nani) better get ready..... You are from tomorrow onwards going to the nursing home and you better not defy me..... I want my sons to leave in peace and it can only happen when the evil eyes are away from them...... Mrs Devyani Singh Raizada ask Hariprakash to help you pack.... Tomorrow morning before sun rise your transportation to the home will be here....."

Nani nodded knowing that she brought it upon herself and left to pack. Mami signed the divorce papers quickly not wanting to go to jail because she knew she will never survive in jail for a day without her makeup and jewelry but if she divorces Manohar she will still be able to leave a luxurious life as promised by Manohar.

Arnav's Study.

Nk and Karan sat down waiting for Lavanya who had summoned them to study. Both looked at each other in confusion and anger. A few seconds later Lavanya entered and both immediately stood up but she chuckled and asked them to sit.

"I called both of you here because I want to make something clear to you...... I overheard you conversation during the fashion show where both of you vowed to win my love. " (Lavanya said making the widen their eyes in shock.) Nk..... I like you (Nk smiled and Karan felt like a part of him has been ripped away but what Lavanya said nextade the smile on the face of NK vanished and now it was Karan's turn to smile.) But I love Karan...... But at the same time I can't accept Karan because of his insecurities I lost my baby..... To avoid any problem.... I will give both of you equal chance to woo me..... But you must promise to accept in peace the one I choose without any fuss. "

Lavanya said and both men agreed to win her.

Arshi's Bedroom.

Khushi entered the bedroom with a cup of black coffee for her husband only to find the bedroom empty, she placed the coffee on the coffee table and looked outside to only to find Arnav looking at the night sky lost in thought. She moved closer to him and placed her hand on his shoulder. An action which broke Arnav's reverie, he turned and smiled at her and took her lips into a passionate kiss. Khushi was surprised at first but after a few seconds she started to reciprocate. Both pulled out after running out of oxygen.

"What was that for? " A blushing Khushi asked and Arnav chuckled while rubbing her cheeks gently with his hand.

"I felt like doing it..... So I did. " Arnav replied with his signature lopsided smirk.

"Khushi! "

"Hmmm."

"I love you dammit. " Arnav confessed and Khushi smiled remembering the time he confessed. She pulled him into a hug

And said.

"I love you too. "

The next day before all woke up, Nani left to the nursing home and Mami also left to her parents house but was kicked out after Akash called them to tell them all their daughter had done.

They were appalled by this and refused to accept her and asked her never to return as she was dead to them. But she didn't care as she was given so much money by Manohar. Payal and Khushi were sad that Nani was sent to a nursing home but the knew it was for the best.

Two months had passed since Manohar divorced Manorama. In this two months, Arshi and Payash got remarried, Aman proposed to Sheetal who accepted wholeheartedly. Sheetal's parents were furious and refused to accept the marriage but Sheetal having enough of them disowned them and threatened to have them arrested for the abuse they put her through. A month after the proposal, Aman and Sheetal had a destination wedding. Lavanya who has grown to love NK, choose NK and Karan even though brokenhearted gave Lavanya a divorce and left leaving the company to Khushi and Payal.

A few weeks after that, Lavanya and NK also got married but after a few days they had to move to Sydney because NK had a lucrative offer he couldn't refuse.

Manohar after a lot of convincing from Payash and Arshi finally gathered the courage and went meet Nandini, the woman he loved and was going to marry before being forced to marry Manorama because her parents were friends with Devyani. Luckily for Manohar, Nandini never married and both after a tearful reunion started all over again.

Nandini was hesitant at first one because of her age and two because she thought Akash will never accept her but all of this was debunked and a couple of weeks after that, she and Manohar got married and that day Akash cried like a baby for finally having the loving and caring mother he had always dreamed of.

Manorama lived her life partying everyday but then within a few months she started feeling empty and missed her son and husband. She then realized money wasn't everything and wanted to go back to RM the following day.

The next day she dressed her best and got ready to leave but was disappointed when she saw in the newspaper the wedding of her ex husband and a woman she knew was Manohar's love before he was forced to marry her.

But what broke her heart the most was another picture where Akash was happily dancing with the woman with unadulterated and pure love, something even she as his mother didn't get and at that moment she finally realised her mistake but it was too late.

Sixteen years later.

A young cute boy with brown hair and big grey eyes entered the hall of RM to find his parents, aunts, grand parents and uncles in the hall chatting and his eyes moved to the person he was looking for. He immediately called him no more like shouted his name breaking the adults reverie.

"Badepapa! "

Ritik Nandakishore Mehra, the seven years old son of Lavanya and NK yelled out for Arnav.

Ritik.
7 and half years old.

They all looked at him confused and he run off and stood in front of Arnav who picked him up and place him on his lap.

"Ritik...... What's wrong and why are you panting champ. ? " Arnav asked and Ritik got down from his lap and held his hand pulling him.

An indication he wanted Arnav to follow him but Arnav stopped him and and kneeled down to face him.

"Champ..... What's wrong? ". Arnav asked again.

" Badepapa.... You have to come with me now..... Some boy is talking to Arshi didi and she is blushing. " Ritik said in anger at the beginning and in disgust at the end.

Arshi.
18 years old.

Arnav, Akash, Aman and NK stood up fuming in anger and Khushi rolled her eyes at it while Payal, Lavanya and Sheetal cover their mouth to suppress their laughter. They knew the overprotective and over possessiveness of the Raizada, Mathur and Mehra men has been activated and whoever that boy was will be in big trouble. Arnav scooped Ritik in his arms rushed out with the others trailing behind.

Immediately they reached outside, they saw Advay, Aarav, Ankush and Aditya glaring at the boy who was having coffee and smiling with Arshi.

The boys hated anyone boy coming closer to their sister but she had threatened to beat them up if they did anything to him and they knew she never bluffs so they sent Ritik for back up and looked on waiting for their backups to arrive.

Advay.
18 years old.

Aarav.
18 years.

Ankush.
18 years old.

Aditya.
18 years old.

Arnav started boiling in anger and was about to march up to them when he heard Khushi's voice which made him and the other men stop in their tracks.

"Mr Arnav Singh Raizada don't you dare pull one of your stunts again..... She really likes him and its high time you all stop with this overprotective nature of yours... (The men looked at Khushi in shock and immediately realized she knew about him. Khushi saw this and decided to let the cat out of the bag.) Yes I know about them. "

This was met with gasps from the men and hurt from Arnav. Lavanya moved over to Arnav and took Ritik from his arms.

"You knew about? " A hurt Arnav asked more accussingly than in a question. And Khushi's silence was his answer.

"Why..... Why did you hid this from me. " He asked in anger.

"I hid it because of this. " Pointing to his husband, brothers, sons and nephews. "You over protective nature is the reason why..... Am happy you all want to protect her but it going to far.... I wanted her to always be open with me and us but your attitude is making her become secretive.... My baby girl has been in a relationship and she couldn't even tell me. Khushi eyes started tearing up and the men looked down in remorse. Payal moved closer to her and hugged her.

"We found out two weeks ago when we went to the mall and saw them together.... We confronted them and they told us about their relationship.... Siddharth always wanted to met you all and ask for your permission but Arshi stopped him because she was scared you all will chase him away because she really love him and so does he... That's why he had threatened to break up with her if she refused to let him meet us and make their relationship officially.... That's why he is here today. " Sheetal explained and the boys felt sad that because of them Arshi took this step but they was also happy she chose a boy like Siddharth but they didn't show it.

Arnav and the others apologized to Khushi first and then went inside but not before asking Aarav to call Arshi. Sid and Arshi entered holding hands with Arshi hiding behind Sid who stroked her hand with his thump. Arnav was hurt by Arshi's action but he knew it was his fault.

"Sid..... Come and sit..... Can I offer you something. " Khushi asked sitting beside Arnav who had a poker face.

"No... Amma.... Am okay..... Arshu and I just had coffee. " Sid replied making Arnav body tense because of the nickname while Aarav and Advay start fuming in anger for calling their mother Amma. They were about to react when one glare from Khushi made them shut up.

For a moment no one spoke. Sid knew he had to melt the ice.

"Hi Mr Raizada...... My name is Siddharth Nigam..... I wanted to ask for your permission to date your daughter. "

"I already know about you two... (Arnav said making Arshi bow down her head. Arnav then called Arshi to come closer to him and she hesitated but went over. Arnav made her sit on the center table facing him and held his hands.) " Arshi..... Am sorry for making you take this action of hiding your relationship with Sid.... You both have my permission. " Arnav said and a crying Arshi hugged him and said.

"Thank you papa...... I am sorry for everything.... I promise to never hid anything from you from now on. "

Arshi broke the hug and went over to her mother and aunts and hugged each of them and then moved to the kitchen to help set the table leaving behind the men. Sid stood up and stretch out his hand to shake Arnav's hands. Arnav suddenly pulled him closer and whispered in his ears.

"If you hurt my baby girl.... I will cut off your balls and skin you alive. "

Sid gulped and gave him a nervous smile before running off to the dinning room to join his girlfriend.
The entire family moved to the dinning room and sat down to eat. Siddharth was about to take a bite out of his food when heard a high bitched yet husky angry voice.

"Who are you? " Varun Mathur ten years old son of Aman and Sheetal's son asked with a frown on his face. He was asleep when everything was going on.

Varun.
10 years old.

"Hi champ..... I've heard a lot about you.... By the way I am Siddharth.... Your Arshi didi's boyfriend. "

Varun looked at Arshi who nodded with a smile. He looked back at Siddharth and said.

"If you hurt my Arshi didi..... I kill you. "

And then run off to his mother who shook her head at him at his possessiveness.

They family had their lunch with laughter and jokes. After that they moved to hall together and was about to sit down when the heard the door bell ring.

HP opened it to find Rishi at the door and Anjali behind him and a little boy of Ritik's age. Rishi waited for Anjali and two years after she finished serving her ten years sentence, she and Rishi got married but didn't invite the family because she thought she didn't deserve them. She rejected every visits and talks of reunion but today after a lot of insistence from her four years old son Anant, she had decided that she couldn't refuse him from meeting the family.

Anant.
Four years old.

She moved into the hall and immediately Arnav saw her, he run over and hugged her. It was an emotional reunion for all. Finally the entire family with the exception of Nani who passed away two years into Anjali's sentence. Durga, Anita, Nandini and Manohar went on a vacation and just arrived a few minutes after Anjali ,were glad Anjali finally decided to be part of the family again. They all moved outside to the garden, the adults with each of their respective partners sitting beside each other were cracking jokes and teasing each other while the kids divided themselves into four groups, were playing Scrabble.
This is how the destiny of two people defined the destiny of others.
