Three days..... Three days since Anjali and Shyam's disappearance. Three days since the family has informed the authorities and hired all the Private Investigation agencies in Delhi to look for them. The entire family have been worried and no mater what Anjali did they wouldn't wish any harm on her and now Shyam and her disappearance could spill danger and even more shocking and surprising was that Anjali was the one who kidnapped Shyam.

Since Rishi told them of what Anjali did.Arnav has been on the pondering over Anjali's words
(I started this and I will end this) over and over again praying Anjali doesn't do anything stupid.

Khushi who just got off the phone with one of her police friends moved closer to Arnav who was sitting on the sofa in the hall lost in thoughts.
She sat closer to him and this broke Arnav's reverie and he looked at her and smiled but Khushi knew it was fake.

" You know that fake smile of yours is not going to convince me that you are not hurting. " Khushi said and Arnav laid down and placed his head on Khushi's lap and Khushi started massaging his head.

Flashback begins.

Anjali and Rishi left to the police station with Shyam who hasn't stopped cursing them since they left RM.

A few meters away from the gated community laid a vast empty road leading to the outskirts of Delhi. Rishi was getting confused as to why Anjali wanted them to take this road and the worst part was he wasn't familiar with this road, in fact he didn't know it existed.

"Anjali...... Am not familiar with this road. " Rishi voiced out unable to shake off the negative vibes he was getting.

"Rishi..... Stop the car. " An emotionless Anjali said.

And Rishi pulled over and Anjali asked him to get down. A confused Rishi got down and Anjali moved over to him making Rishi uncomfortable. She moved over and kissed him taking him by surprise but he responded unable to control his feelings for Anjali anymore. Rishi was so caught up in the kiss that he didn't notice or feel when Anjali injected his neck with a liquefied sleeping drug. Rishi broke the kiss feeling dizzy, he moved away and saw Anjali looking at him without any emotion. He immediately knew she had done something to him. He waddle closer towards Anjali but fell down half way and Anjali kneeled down and said.

"Am sorry Rishi...... It had to be done..... You have done enough and been with him through thick and thin..... But the next journey I have to take alone...... I want you to know I love you too.... But I don't deserve you because you are too young and I am damaged forever..... I can't pull you into this anymore..... (Anjali kissed his forehead.) Am sorry...... Am soo sorry. "

Anjali then pulled a semi conscious Rishi away from the car and entered the car driving away. Rishi sent an alert signal to Suresh and Mohan before passing out. Suresh who didn't find this brother and Anjali at the police knew something was wrong and the alert call from Rishi confirmed his suspicion. They immediately reacted to it and tracked his signal and found him unconscious by the road side on the outskirt of Delhi.

They immediately put him in the car and took him to the hospital and after thorough tests and examinations. It was concluded he was alright but was injected with sleeping liquid.

After a few hours Rishi regained consciousness and realised he was in the hospital.

"Bhai..... Are you alright? " Suresh asked his big brother with concern.

"Am fine Suri...... Where is Anjali? "

Suresh and Mohan kept quiet not knowing how to answer their brother. They was scared of his reaction to their bhabhi gone missing.

"I asked both of you a question?..... Where is Anjali. "

"When we got there she was already gone....... We also tracked the cars GPS and found it but all we found was blood stains at the back seat and skit marks made by another car. " Mohan answered and Rishi looked down broken and scared at the thought of Shyam hurting Anjali.

He knew even though Shyam was wounded he was capable of causing some serious damage. Anjali was the only thing running through his head.

"I failed her...... I failed my Anjali. " Rishi mumbled.

"You didn't bhai....... We will definitely find her...... Our men are combing through Delhi and it neighboring towns and they will definitely find them. " Mohan said to ease his big brother's pain but it did nothing. There was a sudden silence which was broken by Rishi.

"What time is it. "

"It's 9: 30 am Sunday morning..... " Mohan answered making Rishi shocked.

"You have been out for the past 12 hours bhai. " Suresh said and Rishi nodded and stood up to leave.

"Bhai..... You haven't been discharged yet. " Mohan said but one glare from his big brother was enough to shut him up and the trio moved out of the hospital into their car parked outside.
Rishi drove the car much to the irritation of his baby brothers who were concerned for his health.

"Bhai..... Where are we going? " Mohan asked.

"We are going to RM to inform the family...... They have the right to know what's going on. " Rishi replied without any emotion.

" Anjali.....I will never forgive you for this..... Never. " Rishi thought as he drove to RM.

After a few minutes they got to RM and parked their car and entered to find the entire family looking worried. He turned to his brother who shrugged their shoulders. Arnav was the first to see them and moved closer.

"Rishi....... Where is Anjali?..... She hasn't been back since last night. " A concerned Arnav asked making Rishi's heart swell in joy and pain at the same time.

Joy because this proves that Arnav still cares for Anjali and pain because he couldn't do more to help Anjali in what ever she was planning.

Rishi, Mohan and Suresh had no other choice than to narrate what happened and after they were done only gasps and waves of shock was heard and felt in the hall.
Arnav immediately called the commissioner to inform him. And others called all the PI agencies they knew could help them. They knew Anjali was in serious danger even if Shyam was wounded.
But for the next three days they will receive no good news as it seems Anjali and Shyam had disappeared into thin air.

Flashback ends.

Khushi kept on massaging his head when his phone rang and he stood up and received. It was a call from the commissioner and the next minutes Arnav slam back on the sofa making everyone panic at his state. He ended the call and immediately scrolled through his phone to find the man he was looking for. And pressed it and within two rings he picked up.

"Mr Roy..... Where are you. " Arnav asked.

"I just got out of Delhi Police station. " Mr Roy replied making Arnav sigh in relief.

"Please Anjali has been arrested and is at the same police station..... Please see to it and bail her out. "
Arnav said and multiple gasps was heard in the room.

Arnav then cut the call and turned to the family. He knew he can't hid this from them.

"Anjali turned herself in to the police for the murder of Shyam. " Arnav said and waves of shock run through the hall.

"We have to go to the station now..... " Arnav said.

"Am coming with you. " Khushi said and Payal, Akash, Nk and Karan seconded Khushi and they all left to the police station but not before informing Rishi.

Delhi Police Station.

Detention cell.

Anjali sat on the stone slab smiling. The police men and women thought she was crazy for smiling when her freedom is about to be taken away from her. But what they didn't know was that she was a woman who has liberated herself and others from a wicked man like Shyam.

Arnav and the others rushed in to meet a frustrated Mr Roy who seems angry at something.

"Mr Roy...... (Arnav called out and he turned and rushed to him) How far...... And when will Anjali be released? " Arnav asked but Mr Roy was too ashamed to answer as he has never in his thirty five years of experience as the best lawyer in India failed and especially to his best client whom he has come to love like a son.

"My husband asked you a question Mr Roy. " Khushi said getting irritated by his silence. Mr Roy sighed and answered.

"I tried...... But the brutal nature in which Mr Shyam Manohar Jha was murdered and her confession to the crime has made it impossible to bail your sister out. "

They all gasped thinking it was a joke that Anjali murdered Shyam but now they realize it's reality, the reality of their perception of Anjali. The most affected was Rishi, he knew this could mean a death sentence or a life imprisonment for his Anjali. He moved closer to the superintendent of the police, held him by his collar and yelled.

"She didn't kill him...... I did..... She is just trying to protect me....... You better let her out immediately..... Or else I will make your life a living hell. "

Everyone was shocked at Rishi's outburst. They knew he had feelings for Anjali but not to an extent that he will falsely implicate himself to save her. It took six police officers to pry Rishi off the superintendent.

"Be in your limit young man..... I can have you arrested for abuse and false statement...... We have enough evidence to prove she did it and alone too..... So stop it now or I will have you thrown in jail. " He said sternly straightening himself out.

Immediately he was done the commissioner of police entered and was saluted by all. He then asked Arnav and the others to follow him to his office. He sat down and stare at Arnav one of the few people who genuinely respected him during their days in Harvard.

"Arnav..... I won't lie to you but your sister's situation is very bad... As I said earlier on to your lawyer..... The evidence we have against her and her own confession is too much for her to qualify for bail...... ( He paused for a few seconds and continued again) " Arnav..... You were the few people that respected me in our days at Harvard..... I was fifteen years older than all of you in our class and people laughed at me almost making me quit but you encouraged me to ignore them and if I hadn't listened to you.... I won't be in this position today.... And for that I am for the first time going to break my principles and the law to help you...... If you can prove that Shyam is not a good man and let your sister retract her confession and plead insanity..... Then she can walk away freely or her sentence can be reduced from life imprisonment to two or three years....... (Everyone was shocked and the commissioner knew it but Mr Roy knew he was right.) "I know my suggestions are harsh but it's the only way. "

"ASR...... He is absolutely right." Mr Roy said backing the commissioner up.

"And with the previous evidence we have against that bastard for his fraud, human trafficking, blackmail and rape.... It will be enough right? " Rishi said joyfully finally finding the light at the end of the tunnel.

"Do you still have all that evidence with you now?.( Mr Roy asked Rishi who nodded with a smile on his face) Good...... And the fact that Anjali ma'am is still married to him will make it easier for us to win this case only if she will retract her confession and plead on the ground of insanity....... (Turning to Arnav) " I will take my leave now and prepare for the case and you ( pointing to Rishi) " Come with me..... I need all the evidence against him and we have to do some more digging into his criminal activities...... " Mr Roy said and left with Rishi. Leaving the other behind.

For a minute or two no one spoke, everyone was lost in thought and the commissioner felt bad for them but he has also done his best and the rest is up to them.

"Arnav..... You have to see her. " Khushi said to Arnav and he shook his head. "Please Arnav..... We have to put our differences behind and help her..... She is not in her right mind and she needs all of us now more than ever. "

"Khushiji..... Please.... We have done enough..... She has Mr Roy to help her. " Akash said still holding to the past.

"Khushi is absolutely right...... I know you are all hurt by the past and so are we but don't forget at the end of the day she was also influenced to do what she did..... Therefore it's our duty and responsibility to help her. " Payal said supporting Khushi. After a few minutes Arnav spoke

"Rudra..... Can I see her. "

Commissioner Rudra Pratap Ranawat.

"Yes.... You can..... Follow me. " Rudra said and the all followed him to the cell where Anjali was held. They were almost there when Khushi stopped the others from going.

"Stop.... Arnav you have to go alone. "

"But.... " Arnav was about to retort but Khushi stopped him.

"You have to go alone..... Anjali may not feel comfortable seeing all of us there. "

"Bhai...... She is right..... You have to go alone. " Akash said supporting Khushi and he nodded and kissed Khushi's forehead before leaving with Rudra.

Immediately he entered he saw his sister sitting on the stone slab in the cell with her eyes closed.
All the hate he had for her vanished immediately and with pain in his voice called her.

" DI! "
