Madhumati and Anita were engaged in a conversation while having tea in the hall much to the distaste of Manorama who didn't like that Anita and Madhumati prevented her from getting closer to her grand kids. And also the fact that Anita was treated more lovely by Akash and Arnav when they always shun her.

Nani also wanted badly to get closer to the kids but Madhumati and Anita stood like bodyguards to the kids.

Both wanted to take advantage of the absence of everyone but these two women won't let them and they knew if the did something to upset them then not only will Arnav and Akash hear about it but Manohar as well would and they didn't won't to be kicked out and miss the opportunity for forgiveness and redemption so the sat in silence having their evening tea.

Their reverie was broken by Arshi and Payash who entered holding on to their heart broken wives, Shashi trailed behind with Lavanya and NK holding on to both sides of his arms.

They all stood up at once and Madhumati rushed to her brother's side immediately as father and daughters were made to sit.

Nk and Lavanya rushed to the kitchen to fetch water for them. After drinking the water Madhumati bombarded them with questions but got no answer from neither her brother nor nieces making her panic. Lavanya made Madhumati sit down and told her everything that happened which shocked her and the others.

"Hey Nandakishore...... Garima did this...... (Turning to her brother) you did right by wanting to divorce her..... I don't want her near my nieces and grandkids. " Madhumati exclaimed.

"She did nothing wrong....... And Shashiji is wrong to want to divorce her" Arnav said shocking everyone.

"Arnav...... How can you say she did nothing wrong...... She was planning to frame you and Akash for something both of you didn't do, she didn't care for us her daughters and for her grandkids especially Advay and Aarav because if she hates you because of what that man did what is the guarantee that she won't hate Advay and Aarav when they grow up because they will definitely be your spitting image and then her hatred will continue. " Payal said

" Jiji is absolutely right I can't risk her being around out children especially Advay and Aarav. " Khushi said supporting Payal. Arnav sighed and said.

"You are alright in your own way and so is Mrs Gupta. (Khushi was about to retort but Shashi signalled her to keep quite.) You do know the history of your mother and aunt right and what Arvind Malik did to her? (Arnav asked Khushi who nodded in agreement but was surprised at what Arnav said about his father and Arnav saw it and explained) I had his past investigated after my recovery and I found out what he did to your mother..... Apparently it's a tradition of the Maliks to have mistresses with or without the knowledge of their wives and to eliminate every trace of it which is any child born out of it. And unfortunately Mrs Gupta was the innocent scapegoat for Arvind Malik to slaughter and destroy....... Within 48 hours.... She found out that the man she was married to was a cheat and she his mistress.....She lost the man she thought loved her...... She lost her ability to have kids and all because of a sick tradition..... Lost her brother in law cum brother and sister..... Found out that confronting him lead to his wife's suicide and was left raise a traumatized 8 years old niece..... Life gave her a second chance when your Mr Gupta and Payal entered her life..... It was filled with ups and downs but still they went strong....... I know for a fact that she wanted at least one child with your babuji which was made impossible because of one man's sick desire...... She was happy but the past can't be easily forgotten but she let go off her past for a better future but life mocked her when the son of the man she chose to forget came into their lives and made her daughter's life hell..... Won't you have done the same if Arshi was in that position. ( Arnav asked a crying Khushi who nodded yes and then turned to Shashi) I know you are hurt for what she did but the pain and fear of the past forced her to do it and I understand her because my pain and fear made me hurt your daughter....... Go home.... She needs you more now than ever...... And also I know she will never hurt the kids because she loves them unconditionally and depriving her of being with them will kill her. "

By now everyone who was mad at Garima, realises Arnav was right.

They knew now that they rushed into punishing Garima without thinking from her perspective.

Shashi and Madhumati immediately left and Nani , Anjali and Mami also left to their rooms knowing their interference will only worsen the situation. The rest was so tired that they decided to go to bed but Anita who has now become like a family to them forced them to eat and they obey her.

Kashyap's Apartment.

MJ and Urvashi entered their apartment in anger at the humiliation they faced but they couldn't get Khushi out of their head.

Her looks only reminded MJ of the beautiful woman he was obsessed with but her eyes remembered him of his brother who always got everything he wanted.

He immediately was obsessed with Sanaya when his brother introduced her to the family. He tried to get closer to her but like always she rejected his advance and when his older brother found out about his deeds towards his wife he beat him up blue black and that was when his hatred for his brother increased.

He did everything to break them from proving she was a slut to causing her miscarriages to make his brother leave her but failed miserably and it made their relationship more stronger.

He was later forced to marry Urvashi after his one night stand got her pregnant.

He left with Urvashi to London for her to have the baby in order to prevent a scandal only to came back two years later to find out his brother Mohit and Sanaya were proud parents of a two months old baby girl.

This didn't sit well with him and he immediately left back to London with Urvashi but after a few years he was forced to come down to India for the the birthday of Khushi but after three days of arriving, his older brother Durga, Mohit, Sanaya and their daughter Khushi were involved in an accident which instantly killed Mohit and Sanaya and Durga went into coma. He was devastated not by the death of his brother Mohit and Durga who was in a coma but because he lost his love.

Taking advantage of this Urvashi's manipulted him to get the property.

He kicked Durga's wife out of the house and left Khushi at the hospital. The frustration he felt made him start his old life style of sleeping around and recklessly spending his brothers wealth.

He felt he was on top but it was short lived when Durga woke up to find out what he had done to Khushi and his wife who had disappeared and kicked him and Urvashi out and gave him an a condition either he goes to jail for fraud or leave the country. And he chose to leave the country with some of the money he managed to save.

" It's her MJ........ She is Khushi your niece and if Durga finds out he will give all the property to Khushi and Lavanya will get nothing. " Urvashi said breaking MJ's reverie who rolled his eyes at her comment and left her in the Hall turning a deaf eyes to her calls. A fuming Urvashi stumped her feet in annoyance.

" I hate you Sanaya... I hate you....i hate you..... I don't know what you had that all men drool over you....First it was Mohit.... I accepted it and then MJ.... Why is it that all the men I love end up loving you.... I thought MJ was also rich like his brothers so I trapped him,only to find out he lived off his brothers...... I filled Durga ears with lies about you but that stupid wife of his used her black magic to to convince him otherwise..... Then took advantage of MJ's obsession for you I made him kill your unborn child twice and that way Mohit will blame and kick you out but he rather supported you and this made your relationship with him stronger..... I then knew I lost him forever so I turned my eyes on MJ to make him the only owner..... That's why I tempered with Durga's car when I found out they were going out together...... I thought tempering with the brakes of Durga's car will not only get rid of you but Mohit and Durga who were standing in the way of the properties but also get rid of you for stealing the love of MJ from me....but that bastard daughter of yours survived...... I made a terrible mistake by not killing her and Durga at the hospital that day...... And because of that your daughter showed up and stole Arnav from Lavanya...... And today my Lavanya is supporting your daughter over me..... I hate you Sanaya......i hate you so much......But don't worry this time I won't fail in getting rid of your daughter.... I won't. " A crying Urvashi said with pure evil.

Gupta Mansion.

A hysterically crying Garima entered the mansion to meet Karan who just woke up to drink water from the kitchen. Immediately he saw Garima he rushed to her and held her.

"Garima maa..... What wrong?..... Why are you like this. " A worried Karan asked but was answered with tears and sobbing from Garima. He moved her out of the door way to the sofa and made her drink the bottled water he was holding.

He then took the telephone and dailed Shashi's number as he was told he and his sister went out. Within a few seconds a ringtone was heard in the room and Garima knew it belongs to Shashi. She then looked up to see her husband standing at the doors ways with a teared up eyes she rushed to him and hugged him crying. Shashi reciprocated the hug making Garima lead more into him.

"Please Shashi forgive me..... I have lost my daughters trust and my grandkids.... Please don't leave me too..... Am willing to take any punishment from you but a separation will kill me..... I love you so much...... Please don't leave me..... Don't leave me..... Please Shashi. " Cried Garima. By now Shashi and Madhumati were also crying and so was Karan even though he didn't know what was going on but the scene in front of him broke his heart. After a few minutes Shashi broke the hug and lead Garima to the sofa and made her sit down.

"I know you think Arnav will do the same thing his father did to you and his mother but the boy is innocent. " Shashi said but Garima was not willing to give up her ideology about Arnav.

"No Shashi he is just like his father.... He killed his baby with Lavanya and you were a witness to Lavanya's devastated state when you saw her. " Garima said still standing on her opinion of Arnav.
Karan then realised Garima had mistaken the baby Lavanya was carrying to be Arnav's.

"No..... You are wrong Garima maa..... The child Lavanya was carrying was mine and not Arnav's. " Karan said leaving Garima confused and that was when he told her of how he and Lavanya meet, Arnav's help in their marriage, the misunderstanding that lead to their separation. How he stole the identity of his long lost dead twin and finally how he discovered the truth. After he was done Garima realised how wrong she was of Arnav and the injustice she had almost committed against an innocent man because of her fear and insecurities.

"But why did you think Arnav was the father of our baby. " Karan asked and Garima wiped her face and said.

" You already know about Khushi and Arnav's disastrous remarriage (Karan nodded and Garima continued) well the next day Shyam called us to speak to us. He told us how Arnav used Lavanya and got her pregnant and had the baby aborted..... I didn't believe him but the fear of my past repeating itself made me move the family to South Africa...... Months later the PI we hired to look for Lavanya did find her in South Africa and we paid her parents a visit and there they confirmed Shyam's story and when we saw the devastated Lavanya who didn't even recognize us . I believed Shyam and then I dig into Arnav's past to see if I will find any shady secret but I didn't find any but found a girl from his past who to please her parents will do anything for money so I hired her to sabotage Arnav but she backed out at the last moment and My daughters found out and now hate me for believing that scoundrel Shyam. "

"That bastard not only destroyed my life but all of us and the sad part is we somehow let him by believing him.... And Lavanya's parents involvement means he paid them to lie to you people and knowing how money minded they are I won't be surprised" Karan said gritting his teeth.

"You are right Karan..... I thought the same too...... And he has to pay for it" Shashi agreed with Karan and also Karan agreed with him.

" I have to apologize to Arnav and win my daughters back. " Garima said.

"Finally you are doing the right thing. " Madhumati muttered with Shashi nodding to his sister's comment. All of a sudden they there was a pregnant silence which was broken by Garima and what she asked made Madhumati nervous.

" Karan..... Does Lavanya know you are alive? "

Karan was about to answer but Madhumati beat him to it.

"She already knows" She said with her head bowed shocking Karan and that was when Shashi narrated what happened a few hours ago. Madhumati was crying because of what she did out of impulse but Karan consoled her even though he was hurt by Lavanya's reaction but knew he deserves it. Everyone dispersed to their various rooms to decide how fix their problems.

The Next Day.

Payash's Room.

Akash came out off the bath room to find his wife who was asleep before he entered to bathroom now awake and her puffy eyes was evidence of the amount of tears she shed because of yesterday's revelation. Akash moved closer to his wife and held her hand breaking her reverie. A sudden anguish immediately filled Payal making her shove Akash hand away and stood up from the bed to the bathroom when Akash caught hold of her hand and said.

"Am sorry Payal..... Am sorry for everything that you went through because of my cowardice...... I love you Payal and you are the best thing that ever happened to me. "

After Akash ended, his apologies were welcomed with a tight hard slap making him wince in pain. He held his abused cheek and looked up to see Payal hyperventilating out of anger something which scared him.

"You bastard...... You have no shame lying to my face...... Best , you say....... Mr Akash Singh Raizada people don't regret having the best things in their lives like you did with me..... I was nothing but a bed warmer and a slave to you and your good for nothing family...... The only time I got love was from your father when he was around.... So don't you dare call me the best thing in you life. " Payal yelled making Akash hurt for hurting her to an extent that she thought she was a slut and a maid to him forgetting he himself said he regretted marrying her and he was about to be reminded.

"Payal...... Don't say that about yourself..... Am not lying when I say you are the b.......... "

Akash was immediately cut off by Payal before he could finish.

"Enough...... Let me remind you that I was the biggest regret in your life and it came out of your own mouth ( Akash looked at Payal confused totally forgetting his own words.) Don't be confused..... Do you remember the day when you scolded me for caring about Khushi on her birthday...... That day that gold digger you call a mother framed for something I didn't do..... She was the one who poured the chilli in the tea to frame me...... But thank God for what your mother did because that day from your own mouth you said you regret marrying me because if you hadn't then your so called di will be happy and your mother saw me standing at the door and she smiled knowing she got what she wanted and that's to seperate us..... I live every day slaving for you and your ungrateful mother but get only taunts in return so what wrong is there in wanting to celebrate my sister's birthday if you and your family can hurt other for that conniving sister of yours.... Why so much injustice! ...Why! Akash....... So don't you dare call me the best thing in your life...... Am only tolerating you because of our sons so you better listen.... Outside we will be the perfect couple but in here we are strangers....... Understood. " A crying Payal yelled. And a remorseful Akash nodded as tears cascade down his cheeks. Payal left there not wanting to be weak seeing her Akash's broken state.

Akash fell on his knees crying but then the image of his sons flashed in front of his eyes and he pulled himself together not wanting to ruin the already moody atmosphere.

Both dressed up for the day and went down together to see the entire family at the dinning table. Payal moved away to help her sister and Anita to take care of kids while Lavanya served the men. From Khushi puffy eyes Payal realized she had been crying but she knew Arnav will not abandon Khushi like her husband did and that gave her great satisfaction. Arnav cleared his throat gaining everyone's attention. He stop eating and said.

"Khushi... Payal.... Please check out these designs and approve them if you both love it please. "

Payal took the file and opened it to see beautiful baby outfit designs and then handed it to Khushi who loved it. Arnav and Akash smiled knowing their wives loved their designs for babies.

"Arnavji when did you do all this. " Khushi asked

" I and Akash designed them last night but we wanted you opinions on them before they are sown today. " Arnav replied.

"And from the look of it you love it don't you? " Akash asked Payal and she went over to Akash and hugged him forgetting what happened a while ago. A shocked Akash nevertheless reciprocated. After a while they both broke the hug after hearing someone clear her throat and it was none other than Lavanya. They turned to see all eyes on them and teasing smiles on their lips both turned red in embarrassment and the others broke out in laughter.

Everyone's reverie was broken by Manorama's annoying voice.

"Hello hi bye bye my grandkids are going to look amazing tomorrow.... I need to go shoppingwa." Looking at the design which was immediately snatched out of her hands by Lavanya.

" This is the kids birthday........ We don't need your so called fashion statement there.....Understood. " Lavanya yelled having enough of Mami who always uses the slightest opportunity to waste money.
