For the first time since their arrival in South Africa, Shashi watched on as his wife and daughters argue on whether they will return to India or not.

He knew his wife's fear of the reunion between their daughters and their husbands is the major reason why she is against the idea of going back to India to accept a promising and lucrative business deal for their company. Shashi's mind tracked back to the reason why it all began.

Flashback

The Guptas were having their breakfast like they did every single day with Shashi and Garima helping to feed their hyperactive grandkids whilst their daughters got ready for work when the doorbell rang.

Garima opened the door to find her favorite person with his arms crossed over his chest with a single rose between his lips with a mischievous glint in his eyes, and he was none other than Karan Singh Grover, the business partner of Payal and Khushi, Superman of the munchkins (the kids) and self proclaimed boyfriend of Garima.

Removing the rose from his mouth and entered only to hold Garima's hand and back kicked the door shut.

Twirling Garima around and kissing her knuckles whilst look up at Shashi who look at the crazy male version of his Khushi and turn back to control his grandkids who if not for the restraint in their baby chair will have run off and bounced on their Superman.

"Hello girlfriend you are looking beautiful and sexy as always. " Karan teased wiggling his eyebrows.

" You will never change. " She replied shaking her head at his antics and both moved to the dinning room.

Karan hugged Payal and Khushi and smothered the munchkins with kisses which was well received by them and reciprocated with sloppy kisses.

Garima offered Karan food but he politely refused out of joy because of the news he was about to share.

"I have good news guys." All turned to face him in confusion but guessed it must be a good news because of the happy expression. "One of the biggest investors in the fashion industry has chosen our company to provide a new collection of jewelry to be used in his upcoming fashion show and also we are collaborating with PK Designs one of the best fashion design company in India...." Karan uttered in happiness and handed the contract out to Payal and Khushi who were extremely excited at it content.

"Wow, that's great news ,what do you think? " Payal asked Khushi.

"Indeed it is, after all this is the kind of contract we have been waiting for to introduce our brand to the international market" Replied an over excited khushi and Payal nodded in agreement and showed the contract to Shashi and Garima who nodded in approval as they all knew that even though Bharosa was a well known jewelry brand in South Africa, a few knew about it outside the country and this could but them on the map.

"But there is a condition. " Said Karan which silenced everyone and aroused their curiosity. Karan knew about their past as he was a close friend of the Guptas sisters and like a son to Shashi and Garima. And what he was about to say could be traumatic for them but he believes that Khushi and Payal are strong women who can handle anything. This gave him a like confidence to push through with what he was about to say. "We have to open a branch in India as a condition for the contract to push through. I know you guys have a past in India but think about it. But remember your motto business is business."

A sudden silence engulfed the room and only the babbling of the munchkins could be heard after that. Khushi finally broke the silence.

" You are right Karan, business is business and this is why we have been breaking our backs for all these months. And am not going to let anything jeopardize our hard work ,so I agree with it,what say you jiji" said Khushi with a determined voice.

"I totally agree with you completely" replied Payal and turned to Karan and said" Karan go ahead and accept the contract, we are ready"

"I knew my girls won't let me down, so I will take my leave now and make all the arrangements, so we leave in a week from now. "

"Stop Karan please cancel that deal immediately" Garima uttered in a stern voice

" No go ahead with it. " Shashi retorted.

" Babuji is right go ahead, we want to talk to our mother" Payal said to Karan.

Karan left knowing why Garima was behaving that way. He bid goodbye to all and left.

Flashback ends.

"Amma will you stop all this, we need to go back. " Payal said trying to convince her mother for the past two days since that faithful day but she was adamant on not going back or letting any of them go.

Their arguments were halted by the ring of Shashi's phone who answered the call and by now all eyes were on him.

After a few seconds of receiving the call tears started flowing from his eyes with his hand over his mouth.

They all rushed to him panicking and shaking whilst bombarding him with questions.

" Shashiji/ Babuji. "

" I just spoke to Happyji who said Madhu suffered a heart attack" He uttered in shock and fear.

This made the Gupta women gasp at the news and felt guilty for not being able to convince Madhumati to stay with them when she visited a few weeks ago.

But this wasn't enough to change Garima's mind. But Shashi reprimanded her and warned her that he was going back with his daughters and grandchildren with or without her.

This was enough to shut her up as she couldn't leave without them.

Khushi then called Karan and asked him to make an early arrangement for their departure for India.

Even though she agreed to go with them she wasn't going to back down from preventing the reunion of her daughters with their husbands and unknown to the family she had started her plan.

Pretoria Airport.

"All passengers of flight A22543, this is the final calling. "
said a woman through the intercom.

" This is it....we are finally heading home" Khushi said in a nervous tone.

" Yes you are right, we are going back home, back to our bitter sweet memories and to a good future " Payal uttered.

"Come on girls let's go the plane is about to move. " Shashi announced.

They were about to board the plane when Shashi realised Garima was missing. They were about to look for her when they heard her voice behind them.

"Am here now, shall we leave? "

Garima then picked up Arshi and lead the way with an evil smirk on her face satisfied that he plan to prevent Payash and Arshi's reunion has began.

Shashi shook his head at his wife's behavior and signalled his confused daughters to follow her.

Flashback

After months of investigating the past of Arnav she found the perfect accomplice to help her in her revenge against Arnav. So when shashi received the distressing call of Madhu's condition she knew she had to but her plan in motion. She then called her accomplice.

" We had to leave for India, so I hope you know what you have to do. " Garima said.

"Of course, after all you are going to pay handsomely for my service." 

"Okay.....then I will arrange for your return to India. "

Flashback ends

And DESTINY has begun to take her cause.
