The Next Day.

Arnav and Khushi who were already dressed for the day stood at the top of stair with their arms locked at each other's waist, looked down at the most beautiful scene. Lavanya together with Anita had bath and were feeding their babies. Their reverie was broken by a feminine voice.

"She would've made a perfect mother. "

Arshi turned to see Payash behind them and chuckled.

"You are right jiji..... She would have been a mother and a good one too if only Karan hadn't done what he did. "
Khushi said in an angry tone shocking Payash who looked at each other and back to Khushi whose eyes were filled with anger and rage and so was Arnav's expression.

"Bhabhi...... What does Karan have to do with Lavanya. " A confused Akash asked and a curious Payal looked on. Arnav sighed and told them to follow him to his study and there Arshi told them everything about Karan and Lavanya. Akash was angry at Karan while Payal was shocked that Karan was capable of doing something like this.

"We have decided to confront him about it today...... Because he called Khushi this morning to confirm that he will be joining us to work on the upcoming fashion show. " Arnav said.

"So that's why you didn't want Lavanya to join us. " Payal voiced out as to why Arnav did it and he nodded. Khushi then asked them to go down to avoid any suspicion. The all went down and had their break fast and kissed their munchkins goodbye. After they left Anita's phone vibrated indicating she had a message. She checked it and saw her husband's name displayed on it. The message read.

"Meet me today it very important. "

Anita knew it was serious as her husband wasn't the type that beat around the bush. She knew something big was up and it could spell trouble for all.

Payash and Arshi called a meeting involving Nk and Aman and told them everything about Karan.

NK was ready to bounce on Karan if he came to his sight which surprised everyone as he barely knew Lavanya but Arnav stopped him saying they have to confront him first which calmed him.

Everyone immediately knew NK has taken a liking to Lavanya. So it was decided Khushi will confront him while they listen to they through a bugging device Arnav has inserted in Khushi's office. Aman after the meeting texted his Mission Sheetal members of a meeting while Lavanya will be Skyped. Arnav noticed this exchange but kept quiet.

Gupta Mansion.

The Guptas woke up to their now empty lives because of the absence of their daughters and grandkids. Shashi, Madhu, Garima and Karan sat down to eat their breakfast. Garima looked at an already dressed Karan and said.

"Karan...... Since you are joining Khushi at work today please take care of her for me. "

Karan smiled and nodded but soon that smile dropped when an annoyed Shashi sternly said.

"Karan there is no need for you to stress yourself doing that........ Payal and the boys are there to do it and so is her husband Arnav....... So don't bother about her and concentrate on your work. "

"Shashi is right....... You should concentrate on your work. " Madhumati said supporting her brother. Karan was about to retort but Shashi shut him up.

"I insist and please don't let Garima encourage you that there is something more between you and Khushi because the only thing that will ever be between you is friendship, nothing more nothing less.......... And the sooner you understand that the better for you........ And that goes for you Garima as well. "

Karan sadly nodded and excused himself and left for work. An angry Garima then turn to Shashi after Karan was gone and yelled.

"How could you Shashi........ How could you do something like this. "

"Enough! "

Shashi yelled back making Madhu and Garima flinch at the intensity of his voice.

"I should be asking you that question and not you........ Don't you have any shame misleading him into thinking he has a chance with Khushi......... In your greed for revenge you don't realize that you are destroying the lives of our daughters......... You better listen carefully I don't believe what that Shyam and Lavanya's parents told as as both are opportunist who will do anything for money........ Sometimes things we see or heard are not what it seems...... So better leave this stubbornness of yours before it's too late. "

Shashi then stood up and left the table and soon after Madhu followed shaking her head at Garima whose eyes has teared up because of it.

"Am just trying to protect our Khushi from another Malik and I will do whatever it takes to do so. " Garima muttered and picked up her phone and called Sheetal. After two rings she picked up.

"I have sent some money in your account for yesterday's job well done........ "

"Thank you boss...... I will do what ever it takes to separate them...... That I assure you. " Sheetal replied.

"Ok then bye. "
Garima said and hanged up the phone with a wicked smile on her face.

The security who was asked by Aman to notify him when Karan arrives, immediately called him and notified him of his arrival and Aman immediately called the others who left to the conference room to listen on to the conversation about to take place between Karan and Khushi. Karan who arrived was immediately directed to Khushi's office. Immediately he entered her smiled at Khushi who was standing. Karan then hugged Khushi who moved away, a move which hurt Karan. She then asked him to sit.

"It seems someone is not happy to see me (Khushi didn't answer)...... Well I see you so-called husband of your might have told you his sugar coated side of my story. (Arnav who was listening felt like storming into Khushi's office to punch Karan but kept his cool when Payal rubbed his back to calm him down.) Don't be fooled by him Khushi, he is a double crossed and two faced. "

Khushi looked at Karan with a pitiful look and gave a disappointed look to Karan who for a moment felt hurt.

"Let say i believe you........... Why did you fake you death. " Khushi asked in a cold voice.

"I had to since it was the only way to be free of a whore like her who marries a poor man and beds her rich lover. " (Khushi and the others were mad and disgusted of Karan words about Lavanya.) I asked her politely for a divorce but that bitch refused to divorce me and used me to cover up her affair with that man whore you call a husband......But I don't blame her.......after all I gave her the idea of pretending to be Arnav's fiancee thinking it will be a way to repay him for supporting us but that whore tricked me and both were having an affair taking advantage of mine stupidity........ That is why I took advantage of the death of my twin who I only found out about after he died in an accident...... After much investigation I found out he was a drug peddler and a loner and no one will calm his body.......so with the help of my police friend who understood my plight after I told him about those two, he agreed to pass him off as me that way I finally get rid of that whore for good." Karan yelled standing up from his chair with tears in his eyes. This new revelation shocked everyone as they thought it was Lavanya's idea when in actually fact it was Karan's idea.The next moment he felt sharp stings on his cheeks. Khushi had slapped Karan not once but thrice this broke the others reverie when they heard the sound of the slap.

"You disgust me Karan......... I thought you were a good person but only a monster would do something as disgusting as hurting a woman like Lavanya........ She loved you even till today...... But you played with her.......Shame on you Karan......Shame on you" (Khushi angrily said with tears cascading down her cheeks uncontrollably.) We are done Karan..... After the fashion show you can have Bharosa...... Because I don't won't to work with a disgusting creature like you. "

Karan who was hurt by Khushi's words matched up to her and painfully grabbed her arms making her wince in pain. Arnav who heard her immediately rushed out towards her office with the other following him including Anjali who panicked after seeing her brother's state.

"So you are going to destroy everything you and Payal have worked for just for that man and that whore. " Karan yelled while shaking Khushi vigorously. A crying Khushi tried to free herself from his grip but failed.

"Yes Karan........ I will gladly leave everything for him because he and my kids are the more important than anything or anyone and my love for him and his love for me is not fake like yours. " Khushi yelled back at him and this angered Karan more and he yelled making Khushi more scared because of the monstrous look in his eyes.

"His love is fake not mine love for you. (This shocked Khushi who stopped fidgeting and this made Karan lose his grip of Khushi and Khushi slapped him again and shock her head in disappointment.)

" You don't love Karan..... In your anger you don't see that you have not only destroy Lavanya but yourself. " Khushi sternly said making Karan realise she was indeed right because Lavanya will forever own his heart.

"Yes, you are right Khushi...... I may have confused my like for you with love but please am trying to save you from him. "

Immediately Karan was done speaking a worried Arnav barged in and went over to Khushi and grabbed onto her arms making Khushi wine in pain,the others also followed next. Arnav rolled up Khushi's sleeves and saw bruises on both arms. A murderous rage filled Arnav and Khushi shuddered when he saw Arnav's eyes, Arnav let go of Khushi and matched up to Karan and started punching the living daylight out of him. It took Akash, Aman and NK's entire strength to yank Arnav off, Karan miraculously stood up with a slit mouth and bleeding nose. Arnav was still struggling to get out of their grip, he stop fidgeting when he felt the soft touch of Khushi on his shoulder. He turned to see his love shedding tears, he raised his hands to wipe it off and that was when Khushi saw his bleeding knuckles, Khushi gasped and rushed to her cupboard and brought out a first aid kit and cleaned Arnav's wounds. She then passed it on to Payal and signalled her to clean Karan wounds which she did reluctantly. After a few minutes of silence Khushi spoke breaking everyone's reverie.

"May I know why you think Arnav and Lavanya are lovers?" Khushi asked without any emotion and Karan who then realised he had lost his friend replied.

"Few days before I asked Lavanya for the divorce, your brother in law visited my office and told me how you and Lavanya are deceiving me behind my back...... I didn't believe him at first but he showed me pictures and videos of intimate moments between you and Lavanya...... I was shocked and asked him why he was helping me and he said he did it because he couldn't see another man suffer at the hands of the Raizadas........ I don't know what came over..... I decided to confront her but saw you hugging her, even Khushi was there..... Out of rage I gave her the divorce papers but she refused to sign so I left the house and never contacted her..... A few weeks later a police friend of mine called to the morgue where I saw a man with the same face and build like mine and upon further investigation it was discovered he was mine twin who I taught was dead...... That was when the idea of passing him off as me came to mind..... "

Immediately Karan finished he was greeted by a tight slap from Anjali. Which shocked everyone as no one noticed her presence there.

"You fool....... That man is a liar and criminal....... He lied to you..... " Anjali yelled this shocked Karan who looked at Khushi and from her expression, he knew what Anjali said was the truth. Arnav who understood his told him everything about Shyam and how Lavanya lost her baby because of his stunt. And everyone watched in pity at Karan's broken state but was angry at him when they remember how Lavanya had suffered because of his stupidity. Arnav moved closer to Karan who was crying for the loss of their child and what he did to his love and helped him up.

"This is not the time to cry.......... I understand you and why you believed him......... (This made Khushi mad and she was about to yell at Arnav when what he said next stopped her) Because I also did the same with Khushi......... But in different but similar way....... Shyam can be very convincing because of his cunning nature...... I also believed him when he said Khushi was his mistress. I believed him but because of my insecurity of anyone loving me and the fear of rejection....... Since Lavanya introduced you to us, I saw the way you always felt insecure but I shrugged it off thinking you knew how much she loves you........ I don't blame you because I did the same thing you did and that is doubt the women we love....... Even though the damage has already been done, you may be lucky if Lavanya forgives you like Khushi has forgiven me and am not letting this chance slip by........Lavanya may hate you but it depends on you to make things right......And I hope you do the right thing this time.........(Arnav said while looking at Karan. He then looked around him to see everyone nodding at him. Karan immediately felt sick to his stomach for doubting Arnav and hurting Khushi. He apologized to everyone and they forgave him. Payal the told him to came over and talk to Lavanya but he declined saying her can't face her but Khushi and Arnav convinced him otherwise and he agreed to meet Lavanya. Everyone dispersed after that with the expectation of Arnav who stayed in the office with Khushi. Khushi immediately hugged Arnav who without second thought reciprocated.

Aman the showed Karan his station which he will be sharing with him and Nk.

"So Karan...... Welcome to our studio....... For now you will be sharing it with us. "

"Thank you Aman and NK...... And sorry for what happened......." Karan sincerely apologized. Aman shook his hand as a sign that he has forgiven him but Nk walked away to his station with hate and anger in his eyes when Karan tried to shake his. Karan felt hurt but was consoled by Aman who realized NK likes Lavanya and noted to speak to him later. Aman and Nk's phone vibrated, both checked and saw a message from their group by Khushi asking them to meet at her office now. On their way they meet Payal.

"Khushi...... Where is Arnav? " asked Payal.

"Jiji....... He left saying he had an important video conference with a client.? " Khushi replied.

"Am soo overwhelmed by what happened moments ago...... But we have other things to do...... Mission Sheetal. " Aman said breaking everyone's reverie.

"Yes you are right....... But can't we do anything to stall her plotting for now. " An annoyed Khushi said. Aman thought for some time and run out of the office but came back after a few minutes with a devious and mischievous smile on his face and a strip of capsules in his hand waving it at them making them confused.

"Guess what this is? " Aman said still waving it at them. Khushi stood up and snatched the medicine from him and gasped.

"Laxative!...... Aman what are you doing with laxative? "

"Bhabhi it's not for me but for Sheetal. " Aman replied that was when the others smirked understanding Aman's intension including Arnav who overheard them from the conference room after he went left to his office but went back to pick up his phone which he left at the conference room. Khushi has forgotten about the bugging device in her office making Arnav listen to their conversation. He left to join them and immediately he entered they all panicked.

"Aaaaaarrrrrrnaaaaaavvv....... Whwhwh.... What are you doing here. " Khushi stammered.

"Am here to help you guys with your Mission Sheetal. " Arnav replied shocking them, that was when Arnav confessed to listening to Khushi's conversation with Lavanya. They then knew better not to argue with Arnav and allowed him into the group. Aman the added Arnav and a ring of this notification bell was an indication he was now part of them.

"So how are we going to feed the pills to her. " Nk asked.

"She has by now already taken it. " Aman replied with a smile on his face making the others shout in unison.

"WHAT! "

" Yes....... On my way here..... I saw that witch yell at her PA for her coffee...... So I got closer to her pretending to be taking some of the coffee for myself..... And immediately after she saw me she started drolling at me and I smartly mixed the laxative into her boss's coffee and am sure by now her stomach is rambling. "

Everyone started laughing and moved out and immediately stopped when they heard heel loudly clicking on the floor and a sweating Sheetal graced them with her presence, holding her stomach. She stopped in her track when she saw Arnav but run away embarrassed when her stomach started rambling loudly. After she left they all entered Khushi's office and started laughing. Aman took out his phone and changed the WhatsApp group name from Mission Sheetal to Mission Shit 💩💩- all. This made the other burst out into more laughter.

Somewhere in Delhi the gates of a mega mansion was opened. And a black car drove in and stopped at the entrance and got done only to see a white car parked in front of the entrance

. Anita immediately knew her husband was in and rushed into the mansion to see her husband pacing up and down with a frown on his face in the hall. Anita immediately knew what ever her husband had discovered was really bad.

"Durgaji! " Anita softly called out to Durga who rushed to her and hugged her, and she reciprocated. She then broke the hug and led Durga to the sofa and made him sit and she sat beside him.

"Durgaji........ What's happened? " Anita asked. Durga sighed and said.

"They are back Anita........ My private inspector said MJ and Urvashi are in India and already in Delhi."

Anita eyes widened in fear and shock as she knew the presence of these two with lead to pain and sorrow for not only Khushi but also for her cousin Lavanya.
