"CHAMKILEE."

Khushi knew who it was and run and hugged her. Both kept bouncing up and down like kids. Khushi then broke the hug and said.

"Lavanya, how are you? "

"Am great chamkilee........ You don't look bad either....... "Lavanya replied enthusiastically, she then moved in with khushi and greeted and hugged Akash, Arnav and Payal and she was introduced to NK who was immediately smitten by her but she intentionally ignored Mami, Nani and Anjali. Which hurt them but they said nothing.

"Now where are my nephews and niece. " Lavanya asked making everyone with the exception of Arnav, confused as too how she knew and lavanya read their confused state and continued clearing everyone's confusion. "Well ASR told me about you and the kids staying with him and so I board the next available flight from London to meet them."

"They are asleep Lavanyaji" Payal replied.

"I wanted to meet them badly........ Anyway I will meet them later...... And we have a lot of catching up to do. "

After that they all moved to the dinning table and had their dinner. Lavanya was about to leave to her hotel when Khushi insisted for her to stay with them. Lavanya refused at first but Payal pressured her to stay and she gave in. Payal asked HP to prepare the guest room for Lavanya. After dinner everyone dispersed to their respective rooms not before promising to catch up the following day.

Arshi' Room.

Khushi came out of the bathroom after taking her bath to find the room empty. She was about to move to the poolside when she saw Arnav speaking to someone, even though Khushi didn't hear what he was saying or what the other person on the other side was saying, through Arnav's fisted hands, his bloodshot eyes, stiff posture and the protruding of his neck and arms veins. She deduced that he may have received a bad news. After Arnav hanged up and punched the tree closer to him making Khushi gasp seeing his knuckles bleeding. Khushi slide open the door and rushed to Arnav and held his bleeding.

"What have you done Arnavji........ " A crying Khushi said, Arnav then cursed himself for making Khushi cry and vowed to make that culprit pay.

"Khushi........ "

"Just shut up Mr Raizada." Khushi exclaimed cutting Arnav off.
She then pulled him into the bedroom and made him sit on the recliner and rush and took out a first first aid box, sanitized and applied palm to his knuckles before bandaging it. Khushi then stood up and angrily walked away only to pulled and slammed into Arnav's chest. He then wrapped his arms around her, arresting her. She wiggled in Arnav's arms thinking she could break free but failed miserably making Arnav laugh at her attempts, this angered her even more and she opened her mouth to speak only for Arnav to crash his lips on hers. She was shocked at first but reciprocate making Arnav smirk on her lips. After minutes of kissing each other both broke the kiss out of breath with foreheads touching one another.

"I love you Khushi. "

"I love you too Arnavji"

Arnav then held Khushi's had and led her to the bed. He made her sit down while he kneeled in front her, Khushi was confused at Arnav's action and Arnav saw it and said.

"Khushi..... I want us to start over....... "

Arnav then stood up and with a smile on his face and extended his hand to Khushi.

"Am Arnav Singh Raizada....... May I know this lovely lady's name. "

Khushi chuckled at Arnav and stood up and shook his hand and said.

"This lovely lady's name is Khushi Kumari Gupta. "

Both stared at each other for sometime and burst out laughing.and hugged each other. After a couple of minutes Arnav asked

"Khushi why were you crying after Sheetal left. "

Khushi then broke the hug and asked Arnav to sit. Both then sat on the bed.

"I don't know Arnav I feel like someone wants to separate us that all. "

Khushi said but Arnav wasn't convinced because he sensed that Khushi knew more than she is telling him but didn't want to pressure her so he kept quiet. Khushi knew he wasn't convinced but that was all she could say for now.

"Am sorry Arnav for hiding what I just discovered. I know you don't believe me but it's for the best you don't know now. " Khushi mentally said.

"Khushi I know you are hiding something from me but please promise me to be safe and if any problem arises, you will come to me. " Arnav said breaking Khushi's thought.

Khushi then nodded and led Arnav to the bed and both closed their eyes. Arnav was knocked out immediately
but sleep was far away from Khushi who couldn't stop the guilty feeling she felt since Lavanya's arrival and she knew the only way to make it stop is to speak to Lavanya. So she got out of bed after freeing herself from Arnav's protective grip without waking him up but Arnav was always a light sleeper and he also woke up and followed Khushi without her knowledge. Khushi stood at the door of Lavanya's room and knocked, within a few seconds Lavanya opened the door and with a smile on her face led Khushi in. For a few seconds none spoke, Khushi didn't know how to start but then mastered up some courage and said.

"Lavanya....... Am so sorry for snatching Arnav away from you....... I... I promise you, I don't know when and how I fell in love with Arnav and because of me both of you broke up. "

By now Khushi was sobbing but what happened next shocked and surprised her. Lavanya started laughing hard holding her tummy.

"What so funny about what I said? " Khushi said with a slight hint of anger in her voice. Lavanya stopped laughing and held Khushi's hand and said.

"Yes what you said is funny (this made Khushi more confused) you were not responsible for our break up..... In fact it was meant to happen with or without you in the scene. "

" I don't get it Lavanya....... What do you mean? " A confused Khushi asked.

"Arnav and I are just friends......Arnav is like a brother to me nothing more anything less. (This shocked Khushi who was about to speak but Lavanya stopped her)
I and Arnav's relationship was a fake one to get Nani and the media off his back. Nani was pressuring Arnav to get married but he didn't want to, so I brought up the idea of faking a relationship to ease the burden of Anjali and Nani's obsession of getting him married."

Khushi was shocked but felt a weight lifted of her shoulder and she then hugged Lavanya who also reciprocated. Khushi then broke the hug.

"You don't know how relieved I feel after hearing this. "

"Believe me Khushi...... You are the only woman Arnav loves but the way his past scared him that's why he pushed you away........ Arnav thought by hurting you, you will go away from him but then the idiot didn't know that love doesn't work that way. (Khushi laughed at that sentence and all this while both were oblivious of Arnav's standing at the door way which both forgot to close it.) And beside Arnav is not my type."

"Then who is. "

The expression on Lavanya's face changed to that of pain.

"The man I love is dead Khushi
." Khushi gasped in shock and Arnav stood there confused.

" Am sorry Lavanya I didn't mean to........ "

But Lavanya cut her off.

"Don't be Khushi....... I am responsible for what happened........ Because if I wasn't too scared of my parents we both would have been happy with our baby. " By now Lavanya was crying, and even Arnav had tears in their eyes.

"Lavanya what do you mean by baby,.......... Are you pregnant. " Khushi asked.

" I was pregnant........ I lost the baby out of shock when I heard the news of his death..... That's why I want you and Arnav to work out your differences, because you both belong together....... Don't waste time like I did and because of that I lost not only the love of my life but our baby as well.

Khushi didn't know what to say but promised to listen to her advice.

"So where do you stand with Arnav now. " Lavanya asked.

" I have decided to give him another chance but am scared that people are planning our separation. " A worried Khushi said.

"What do you mean. " Lavanya asked.

"I will tell you something and what am about to tell you is only known by jiji, Aman and NK but please promise me you won't tell Arnav. "
Khushi said.

"I promise. " Lavanya replied.

" Today, I found out that a Harvard friend of Arnav has been hired by an unknown person to cause a miss understanding between us......... I went to jiji's office to deliver an important document to her but she wasn't there so asked one of the employees who said she saw her going into Aman and Nk's studio....... So I went there of only to see an unknown man with them. I entered and they looked like they've seen a ghost. I knew they were hiding something but they didn't want to tell me....... So I threaten them that either they tell me our I involve Arnav and they knew better not to lie.... So jiji said about a week ago she saw Arnav's friend who by the way is called Sheetal has been looking at me weirdly and has been caught by either jiji or NK trying to find ways to meet Arnav. NK told Aman and he immediately had a PI dig up every thing about her. On one of his investigation he over heard her talking to some one that she is already in PK and will soon seperate us. But up until know we don't know who it is...... But then something weird happened today.... Arnav missed Arshi's appointment which I know he didn't do on purpose because he was so eager to be there and my suspicion was Sheetal has something to do with it and I confirmed my suspicion when she showed up here to give Arnav's phone to him and after she thanked Arnav's for taking her out to lunch on her way out I saw her smirking as if she had achieved something. "

"Oh my God..... Chamkilee....... All this has been going on behind our backs........ I want to help. " Lavanya said.

"We have a WhatsApp group........ I will add you to it. " Khushi replied

"Why don't we tell Arnav's h........ "
Lavanya was immediately cut off by Khushi.

"No Lavanya...... We can't tell him yet...... He is under a lot of stress and if you have been in contact with him then you would know he recently got healed of his spine surgery...... An stressing him will be dangerous for his health. "

"Ok...... We will meet at PK tomorrow and find ways to find out who it is. ". Lavanya said and Khushi nodded

Arnav discreetly left there and immediately he reach their room he covered himself up and pretended to be asleep. Khushi then entered and smiled at her husband, moved onto the bed and snuggled closer to him and immediately slept. Arnav also pull her closer and fell asleep.

The Next Day.

It was a new dawn for the family. Lavanya was introduced the others through their WhatsApp group. Payal was not convinced about Lavanya at first until Khushi told her Lavanya and Arnav's truth with Lavanya present there. The munchkins warmed up surprisingly to Lavanya who remembered her dead baby but shake it off. Arnav since the morning has been absent minded which didn't go unnoticed by Khushi and the others. During their breakfast, out of nowhere Arnav asked.

" Lavanya. "

"Yes bro. "

"How is Himesh ?"This sent confusion to others and shock to Khushi who was about to call out Arnav for his insensitive question but was stopped by Lavanya who was sitting closer to her.

" Who is Himesh " Nk asked. Lavanya then sighed and explained to NK who he was.

"Himesh was my high school friend and sweetheart......"Lavanya smile dreamily and from this the others knew she really loved him. "We did everything together from studying to playing. With time our friendship turned into love. But I was afraid because I knew my parents will never agree to our love and I cowardly told him to keep our relationship a secret and because he loved me, he complied. School closed and I went home, throughout our vacation, Himesh letters suddenly stopped and neither did he call. I got the shock of my life when school reopened and Himesh was arrested on a harassment charge and to my shock it was my parents. I tried to defend him but my parents put forth condition that I must deny my relationship with him and if I refuse they vowed to destroy him and I knew they would so I denied our relationship and they dropped the charges. Himesh was hurt, I then decided to explain to him but he never showed up for school and I went to the orphanage where he lived but I was told he run away. For years I blamed myself and never forgave my parents. Years later I graduated from college and become Arnav's business partner but I made him hid that fact became if my parents knew I was his business partner they will never leave me in peace so I became an employee instead. I never thought I'd meet Himesh again but I did, he was mad at first but after explaining to him what my parents did. He apologized for thinking I was ashamed that's why I denied our love...... So we started dating again and this time I was ready to make our relationship public but he stopped me saying he was rich enough to provide me the life I deserve but I debunked his claim because I wanted his love not his money but he was adamant on impressing my parents so I gave in but with a condition that we got married. And we did with Arnav and Aman as witnesses. But something happened that I never understand, one day Himesh came home angry and threw a divorce paper at me and asked me to sign it I was shocked he asked me that and I refused to sign it if he didn't tell me the reason for this, he didn't and left. I was so hurt that I left for London but 6 weeks later I found out I was three months pregnant and decided to tell him but stopped when I remembered how he threw the divorce papers at me. A week after my pregnancy was discovered I was called back to Delhi and when I arrived the police said they found a body matching my husband and to my shock it him when i was taken to the morgue.....i then lost consciousness and went into depression after I woke up and because of that I lost my baby. "

Everyone was shocked and felt sad for Lavanya for going through so much and yet never lost her smile but what Mami said angered everyone.

"Hello hi bye bye, you were married and in a relationship with Arnav? "Mami questioned with a hint of disgust which made everyone angry and glared at her, shutting her up. An angry Lavanya then retorted.

" Yes but all because of the three of you." Pointing to Mami, Anjali and Nani, who looked at her in confusion.

"Hello hi bye bye why are you blaming us. " Mami asked and Anjali and everyone gave her are you that dump look.

"Yes.......the three of you are to be blamed for our fake relationship and fake engagement......... So what if he didn't want to get married but being the greed and self centered people you are you didn't realize how stressful and tired he and Akash was everytime they come back home from work and instead of coming to a peaceful atmosphere, they rather came home to complains of their marriage and this or that....... Seeing my friend stressed I came up with our fake relationship to get you of his back............" Anjali and Nani bowed their head in shame for the injustice Arnav went through because of him and as for the others with the exception of Arnav and Khushi who already knew,looked at her with admiration and thanked God for giving Arnav a friend like Lavanya.Turning to Mami, Lavanya said."So Mami this is the answer to your question......... Arnav always put you people first and did everything you people want but how did you reward him...... One kidnapped and almost killed him to fulfill her distasteful revenge and when she was jailed for her crimes, another one (pointing to Nani) blackmail him by threatening suicide to release this criminal. (Pointing at Anjali. This shocked Payal and Khushi as they didn't know this part of the story. They turned and glared at Nk who turned his gaze away from them out of guilt for not telling them. Lavanya then stood up and said.)

"Am sorry ASR I lost my appetite because of the presence of some people....... I will get ready for work."

"No ."Arnav yelled frightening everyone. He realised his mistake and apologized and said Lavanya will not go to work with them as she has to rest because of her long journey, everyone agreed with Arnav but Khushi sensed there is more to it but kept quiet and promised to confront him .Lavanya then hesitantly agreed as she will get to send more time with her nephews and niece. Everyone one then dispersed to their room to get ready for work. Before leaving Khushi order HP to take food up to Lavanya's room.

Arshi's Room.

Arnav was standing in front of the full size mirror fixing his tie when an already dress Khushi snatched it away and tied it for him. Arnav smirked and was about to kiss Khushi who backed away making Arnav confused.

"Arnavji...... Why did you prevent Lavanya from joining us to work....... If it's because you think I will be uncomfortable then you are wrong.... " Khushi said.

"Khushi... It not because of that. "
Arnav replied

"Okay then ...... What is the reason? " Khushi asked.

"It because of Himesh.......... He is alive Khushi. "Arnav explained shocking Khushi. Arnav then gently dragged Khushi to the bed and made her sit down.

" Himesh is ALIVE....... And the man who left with your parents is none other than Himesh Singh Grover."

"But Arnav, his name is Karan Singh Grover not Himesh. " A shocked Khushi exclaimed.

"No Khushi he is Himesh Singh Grover.....the tattoos on his arms is proof......He might have faked his death to avoid Lavanya...... But if indeed he did this to Lavanya on purpose then I won't spare him.... Because of his stupidity Lavanya lost their baby. " An angry Arnav said. Khushi then cupped Arnav's face and said in equal anger.

"I believe you Arnav...... If everything you said is indeed true then he will face us for hurting our friend.

Arnav then hugged Khushi who gladly and wholeheartedly reciprocated.
