Delhi Hospital.

A nervous Payal was pacing up and down out of worry and fear as the doctors are taking way too long to came out.

She knew Khushi's condition will weaken her especially after the doctors warning of not stressing her after she had the triplets because of the stress her body went through due to her pregnancy.

Even she was also warned but what she discovered shocked her. And she knew their lives is about to become more complicated.

She look at Akash to see him with puffy and red eyes. She couldn't blame him as he was also in the same state as she is now.

Flashback.

After Khushi fainted, Nk and Aman who were standing there helped her as she didn't want Arnav's help.

After they reach the hospital, Khushi was placed on a gurney and taken to the Emergency room.

She then turn around to find a crying and broken Arnav, for a moment she did sympathize with him as for the last forty eight hours he showed no sign of the proud ASR she knew before.

But then the image of an hysterically crying Khushi and her loosing consciousness over powered her sympathy.

She took predatory steps to Arnav and held his collar and started shaking him vigorously asking for answers but what surprised her was the lost state of Arnav whose eyes was gazing at the direction of ER where Khushi was taken.

Akash then rushed to Payal and release a lost Arnav from her death grip and yelled.

"Stop it Payal, just stop it....can't you see he is hurt and lost......... If you, her sister feels the way you are feeling then imagine what he is going through when Khushi is the woman he loves."

This calmed Payal down when she remembered their conversation with NK and Arnav's broken state.

A few seconds later a thud was heard, only for everyone to turn and find Arnav on the floor unconscious.

Akash yelled for help and the nurses and doctors took Arnav away for treatment. Akash then broke down and fell on his knees crying like a baby.

And a remorseful NK harshed to him and hugged him while rubbing his back.

Payal then wished she was in Nk's place. She knew that no matter what had happened in the past her heart, will always belong to Akash and also his upbringing contributed to his nature.

But she held back and sat on the the visitors seats at the entrance of the ER. Aman sat closer to Payal and held her hand gently stroking it. After a few minutes of silence Payal asked.

"What happened while I was away. And don't you dare say you don't know, " Payal asked looking at Nk and Aman for answers and so was Akash who was by now sitting on the opposite side of the visitors seats facing Payal.

"She asked you both a question and it will be in your best interest to answer her. "Akash said in a deadly tone making everyone flinch. Aman and NK knew better not to tempt the Akash in front of them.

" Actually what happened was that I was going through some of Arnav's files at AR when I found Arnav and Khushi's marriage certificate. "

"What!" Payal and Akash exclaimed in unison.

Making both look at each other. From this Payal, Nk and Aman deduce that Akash knew nothing about it which surprised Nk and Aman as they thought he knew.

"What do you mean by marriage certificate, as far as I know bhai's marriage to Khushiji was contract based. " Asked a shocked Akash.

"No it wasn't, you see that day Khushi signed a marriage certificate not a contract as Arnav made her believe. And since they both never applied for a divorce they are both still legally married." Aman answered.

"Did you know about it. " Questioned Payal while looking at NK.

A nervous Nk vigorously shook his head denying it. When in actual fact he found out yesterday but out of fear denied it. Payal was too emotional to see that he was lying.

"Still your explanation is incomplete. " Payal said. Making Akash turn his head to Aman.

"So after I found it, I rushed to the presentation room and told Arnav that I found his marriage certificate with Khushiji, oblivious of the fact that Khushiji was there. I was surprised when Arnav went numb and saw fear in his eyes but his gaze wasn't on me. I followed his gaze to find a shocked Khushiji standing behind me with NK. She moved to Arnav and questioned him regarding if what she heard was true and Arnav nodded yes that was when she started hitting Arnav and crying hysterically, we tried to calm her down but she wouldn't, shortly after that you entered and the rest you know. " Aman continued pretending to be hurt. For one or two minutes no one spoke.

"But why did bhai lie. " Akash asked confused. Payal looked at Akash angry and tauntingly said.

"Really ,don't pretend as if you don't know." Akash looked at her shocked. " Because he did it for your so called di." Akash stared at her and shook his head. Payal looked at him perplexed.

" Really Payal you think bhai did it for Mrs Jha."

Payal was surprised that Akash addressed Anjali as Mrs Jha. She knew it but for it to come out of his mouth surprised her and strangely made her happy.

" If bhai really did it for Mrs Jha don't you think this would have given them a free chance to continue with their supposed affair.And I know my bhai is not stupid ,he may be impulsive but not stupid.With that woman's never ending Poojas and bhai's late working , Manorama's useless shopping,spa treatment and kitty party and Nani's preference of staying indoors don't you think they would have had a free chance to do what they want without anyone's knowledge." Payal realised Akash was right. " There is more to this than we all know and only bhai can answer this. "

After this Payal and Akash sat in total silence,each with a thought of their own with the exception of Aman and Nk who were feeling remorseful for what they did.

Flashback ends.

After a few minutes two doctors walked up to them up to them and they were immediately bombarded with nonstop questions by Payash, Aman and Nk.

"Please came down they are both alright, with Miss Gupta she just suffered a panic attack and will be discharged in a few hours but then please don't let her do any tedious work. But for Mr Raizada he has to go through some test in a few days to check his spine and for that test to succeed he also need a lot of rest. Both can go back to their usual routine but it has to be stress free. " The doctor explained and permitted them to see both Arnav and Khushi who were by now awake. Akash and Payal hurriedly left to meet their respective sibling. Leaving behind Aman and NK.

"Aman we shouldn't have planned this, because of us my bhabhi and bhai are in this condition. " Nk said in a sad tone almost on the verge of crying.

"Stop it NK our plan worked perfectly."Nk looked at Aman in confusion. And Aman started to explain. " Did you see the way Payal looked at Arnav (Nk nodded yes) she will be our main target now as she will be the communicating link between Arnav and Khushiji. "

"Be more specific Aman, u are confusing me. "
Nk demanded with a frown on his face.

Aman shook his head with a smile on his face and continued.

"Payal is very inquisitive and will definitely dig up a lot of things we may not know and Akash will definitely pressure Arnav into telling him the truth behind his marriage to Khushiji and Arnav will definitely tell Akash and from there who do you think would be the next to know. "Aman asked with a raised brow.

" Payal. " Nk answered with a smile on his face, now realizing what Aman was trying to say but after a few seconds he frown and said.

"But what if Arnav makes him swear not to tell anyone. Then what. "

Aman then started laughing, making Nk angry.

"What the hell is so funny about what I said. "

Aman then stopped laughing and said.

"Have you seen how scary our sisters are. (Nk shuddered in fear when he remembered all the events that has happened in almost 48 hours since the return of the Gupta sisters and Aman chuckled at Nk's state.)
Good even you are shaking in fear remembering it so what do you think will happen to the person it's directed to. And besides the situation will force Akash to reveal the truth if Payalji ask. "

"Ok then but I was really scared when you suggested we only present the certificate to Arnav when Khushi was around. I thought it will flop and in a way it did flop. Let's hope our next plan also succeeds.

" Don't worry Nk it will succeed and we will make sure of that. " Aman assured Nk. Before they both left to see Arnav.

ER
Khushi's room.

Payal slowly entered the room to see khushi lost in thoughts. She was a bit pale, she proceeded closer to Khushi's bed and held her legs which were under the sheet and gently shook it breaking Khushi's reverie. Payal then hugged khushi who also reciprocated and after a few minutes they both broke the hug. Payal the sat on Khushi's bed and took her hand into hers and said.

" I know you are upset with Arnav and this revelation of being his legal wife has shocked you and I want to tell that, you have every right to be angry at him. "

"You are right jiji I have every right to be mad but am not. "Payal's eyes nearly popped out of it socket out of surprise at Khushi's words.and she yelled.

" What! ".
