"Home is where you hang your heart"

Good Morning. I stretched my body, but, why is the bed so small? I opened my eyes to discover that I am still on the couch... Did I sleep here the whole night? Memories from last night came to my mind.... Kookie was crying... we kissed..again... we hugged each other tightly, and I fell asleep. I remember now, why I am here. Who gave me the blanket then? There was no blanket on the couch... It must be Kookie... he's not here... I think he is getting fresh. 

Just as I was going to get up from the couch, I saw Kookie coming out of the bathroom, towel drying his hair... That made me gulp... a big gulp... He just came out of the shower. I kept on staring at his face... He approached me and wished me.....

"Good Morning Noor" He gave me his cute smile.

"Good Morning, thanks for the blanket. It's really cold out here" I thanked and wished him. He sat on the couch beside me and held my hand in both of his....

"My hands are cold, share some warmth...with me" That same phrase again.... I am in awe of this one phrase...whenever he says that, I feel like we are close.... indeed we are, specially after last night. I smiled at his phrase as usual.

"I am sorry Noor, you had to sleep here because of me. I don't know when I fell asleep. We slept here the whole night" Oh~ so that's what happened. Thank god, no one's awake yet... 

"You don't have to say sorry" I smiled at him.

Jungkook came closer to me... I could smell his fresh lavender scent mixed with moisture from the shower... it's a heavenly combination... His lips touched my forehead, he kissed me on the forehead,  a soft-moisture filled one. I felt safe, secure and loved with that little loving gesture of his. I was smiling.... more blushing than smiling... he parted to sit on the couch and smiled...

"Thank you for staying with me last night, is your hand fine now?" My hand....what happened to that? Oh~ yes.... I had a cut.

"Don't tell me you forgot about that" Jungkook said....it was more like a warning.

"Uh...." I had nothing more to say. I really did forget. He rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Why are you so careless about yourself Noor?" He asked me, or maybe scolded me...

"Because we shouldn't remember the bad things, it's better to forget the things which give us pain" I gave him a bright smile of mine. He was amazed at my phrase. Then, he too smiled.... Ah~ he looked so good when he smiled like that.

I got up from the couch and went to our room to call Simmi and Nishi. They are still sleeping, as I expected. I shouted to wake them up; as usual. They woke up without any quarrel...wow....they didn't shout back at me. I got showered and ready for skiing again. I wore my sky blue jacket, denims and black boots. I am ready. I side-braided my hair. Simmi and Nishi also got ready one-by-one. They looked beautiful.... Since, all of us were ready, we gathered in the living room; where we planned to meet. 

Augustin, Jimin and Jungkook were already there; sipping their teas. We settled on the couch and had the warm tea... it felt good. We were waiting until our breakfast arrives. We'll go after breakfast because once we go skiing we'll come in the evening... so we didn't want to miss breakfast. 

The breakfast arrived in a few minutes. It was a light breakfast; we didn't want to load ourselves before going skiing. I am really excited because we're skiing together today. 

"It'll be so fun.... I can't wait. Are you done?" I asked them all not able to contain my excitement anymore. 

"Yeah.. I guess we all have finished breakfast. Noor, do you think you should go?" Jiminie asked me. What did he mean by that? Why shouldn't I go? 

"Why shouldn't I go? What's wrong with me?" I asked him, having no clue...

"Noor, your elbow.... " Jungkook reminded me... I forgot again. My cut was now dressed in a fresh new bandage with the help of Simmi, her scout and guide training helped... first time I was thankful that she took the training... 

"I am fine. There's no pain. Let's go" I had so much energy today.

We headed for the skiing place. All of us were chattering happily and loudly while walking there. Jungkook and Jimin were the first ones to reach  there followed by us. The first thing they did was, clicking a picture together. Huh~ these boys...

We tied our shoes to our skies. I still had no idea how to do it. I pulled Jungkookie's jacket and make a child-like face pointing towards my shoes. He shook his head from side to side and bent down. He taught me how to tie it properly. I observed first and then I did it myself...

"Yay!!! I did it. Thank you Kookie" I told him, in excitement. I don't know why this thing excited me, but it did.

All of us were ready. We skied alone first, grasping what we learned yesterday. Simmi and Nishi were quite good at it, like me they too din't knew it till yesterday. Augustin was a pro; he was so good in skiing. Jimin and Jungkook were graceful like professionals... they had a good speed. Nishi joined me in watching Jungkook after she had done skiing once.

"Noor, where were you last night?" Nishi asked me seriously.

"I was with Kookie. I'll tell you later about it, on a condition..." I replied to her...

"What?" She asked me confused.

"You'll have to tell me everything that happened between you and Jiminie" I smiled devilishly at her. She was blushing a deep pink.... she nodded.

"Noor, it's your turn" Jiminie said breathless after he did his turn.

"Okay" I said and went for it.

I slid down with confidence. I maintained my balance and reduced the speed as Kookie would've told me to do the same. I smiled at the thought of Kookie. I was really enjoying skiing. It's a great sport, we should come here sometimes. The January air was hitting against my face.... Woah~ it was fun... I crossed the trees easily. After sometimes, I reached the planes. I went to the hill again by rope way. The view from the rope way was beautiful. Everything was white... looking down from here, I felt like I am in paradise. 

I reached the top, everyone was waiting for me. All of them were clapping for me. What is they clapping at? 

"What? Why are you all clapping?" I asked them.

"You were so good. I can't believe it. Amazing..." Jimin came and gave me a hug like a koala. I hugged him back.

"Thank you. It's all due to Kookie" I thanked him.

"Great job Noor... at least you didn't fall down today." Simmi and Nishi said and hugged me together.

"You are really good at this" Augustin said smiling at me.

I approached Kookie. He didn't say anything like the others, he just gave me a proud smile of his and raised his hands for a high-five. I high-fived him and laughed. 

We decided to ski together this time, first the girls then the boys. Simmi, me and Nishi got ready, standing in a line. The boys counted till 3 and we slid downwards....

Woah~ we were going together... we looked at each other and laughed. The same feeling....the wind cooling down my face. I am going to miss this soon, today is our last day. We decided to stay tonight and leave tomorrow evening. This is so fun.... We kept on looking at each other and the back at the track... we continued this pattern until and unless we reached the plane together. Once we were down, we started chattering happily. We went up again to see the boys doing it. 

"It's your turn.... get ready" We told the boys once we reached them.

"You were great" They admired our skiing.

They got ready, it was our turn to count... 1....2....3.... and the boys flew down. Woah~ they are too fast, we must've looked like turtles in front of these boys.... The way they are taking the turns is so risky yet amusing.... I am in love with skiing. They reached the planes in no time and were coming up now. 

"That was an amazing show" We cheered them. 

After that Jungkookie told me that since I am so good at skiing, he wants to teach me another type of skiing... which will be more fun than this. I was excited just at the mention of fun. 

"Let's do it Kookie" I said with a lot of energy. 

"Woah~ calm down. It's a bit risky...but I think you can pull it off" Jungkook said with confidence... the way he said... it felt like he is a proud father of a talented girl.... it was funny. 

He told me that this type of skiing is called powder skiing because while doing this we ski through fresh powder of snow. Sometimes we can't see what's lying ahead, so we have to take care while going through the powder. 

"While powder skiing you are supposed to distribute the weight evenly between your skis and turn them over as a unit" I nodded my head while observing his actions as he was showing me how to do it.

"Whilst skiing in powder, making rhythmical turns will help you take the energy from one turn into the next... you'll be bouncing right out of the snow" He told me providing more information. It sounded fun. I am so excited to do it. 

Jungkook told me that I have to do this in  speed, if I reduce the speed I won't be able to float to the surface between turns and this will make it very difficult to initiate a direction change. I was noting everything in my mind. This sounds complicated but I can do it. Fighting!!!

"Want me to tell you once more?" Kookie asked making fun of me after he was finished telling me everything.

"I got it. You don't need to repeat" I told him with confidence.

I got in the position and when Jungkook motioned me to go, I forced my skis to move forward. I sled down with high speed which resulted in filling the front of me with thousands of little particles of snow. I took the position Kookie told me to take before; Bending more than before. It was fun skiing between these little snow particles. It was so much more fun than yesterday. I took more turns in high speed because it allowed more particles to fly in front of me. It is so cool. Woah~ I concentrated hard to keep my speed in control because snow is slippery, if I let go of the speed, I will just fall down on my face; and I of course don't want that to happen. 

I reached the plane faster because this was much more faster than the other skiing. I felt great... I didn't knew I could ever ski so good. All credit goes to Jungkook. He is great in such sports. I went up to the hills smiling wide. 

"How was it?" I asked him smiling wide....

"Better than my expectation. You did it better than yesterday. You learn fast" he said appreciating my fast learning.

We high-fived after that. 

"Let's do it together" Kookie said to me. 

"Let's do it" I said. I was still energized even when powder skiing was tiring.

We skied together many times.... it was fun. I don't know where the others are. Wait... I can see them in the distance. They were playing with the snow. I told Kookie about that. We went to the others and started playing with  them. We made big snow balls and threw hard at each other. I made a big ball and put it inside Simmi's jacket.

"Ahhhh.... It's cold. You~ just wait up" Simmi  was looking scary when she said that. I ran away from her and hid behind Augustin because he was the closest from there. She smiled at him shyly and left after giving me a death glare. I thanked Augustin for saving me and he just smiled back. I was throwing snow balls at everyone. Nishi threw a big one on my back.... Woah~ it hurts... but my jacket saved me. Jimin ran after Nishi to throw one at her. I aimed him and threw snow ball at Jimin. He narrowed his eyes at me and I laughed.... He whispered something in Kookie's ear and then Kookie approached me..... he put a lot of snow on my cheeks.... Ah~ it is so cold. I cleared all the snow and ran after him to take my revenge. 

He turned back to face me and stuck out his tongue... I narrowed my eyes at him and ran faster. As I was approaching him... I slipped on the snow.... oops.... His warm hands caught me by my my waist. We looked at each other laughing like kids. His coffee brown eyes looking into my chocolate brown ones. We froze in that position. My hands were on his chest. Both our hearts were beating so fast.... I was out of breath. I smiled at him; a big one and put some snow inside his jacket and ran away laughing. 

He ran after me taking a snow ball in his hand. I hid behind Jiminie and the snow ball hit his face.... I laughed at both their expressions. 

"Hyung..... you look so funny...." Kookie laughed hard with me and ran away when Jimin took a step towards him.  I too ran away from him, laughing like anything. 

After a long time of playing with snow, we went back to our hotel room... on our way back we were laughing and making fun of each other. We laughed so hard that our cheeks were paining. 

"Ah~ you were looking so funny with that face Simmi" I said between my laughs. I still couldn't stop laughing even now.

"Augustin saved you... or else..." She didn't complete the sentence but I understood anyways.

We reached the hotel at dusk. We ordered our dinner earlier since, all of us were so tired; we decided to sleep early. Skiing is fun but equally tiring. It requires a lot of energy. 

"I am so tired today...." Nishi said messaging her neck.

"Me too.... let's go to bed after we finish dinner" Simmi said agreeing with Nishi.

"Even I am tired today.... I guess Augustin too. You don't have to say anything bro, that'll make you more tired" Jimin patted his back. These people can never stop being funny....

We finished our dinner soon and directly went to bed after having a hot shower one by one and changing into our pajamas. We wished good night to each other and went to bed. Today I didn't slept with Kookie on the couch, instead I slept on bed with Nishi and Simmi. I remembered yesterday night and smiled wide.... and with the smile slept without a care in the world......

Umm...wait...I need to count first. Yes, so, it's the 27th chapter. An exciting chapter of Noor's life. It was fun even for me. Writing this chapter gave me the joy of imagination, specially the part where they were snow-fighting and also while they were powder skiing. Kookie gave Noor a kiss on forehead; so cute yet securing. They understand each other really well. But, tonight is their last night here, they'll be back in Seoul tomorrow.... again back to the boring normal life. 

 I had to do some research before starting these skiing chapters. I read from the internet about Skiing; so, don't worry I won't provide you with any wrong information. While writing this part where Kookie taught Noor about powder skiing, I kept special care, not to mention anything wrong.
