"You think we lost them?"I whispered to Lorna, our backs pressed against the inside of a closet.

Lorna opened the door slightly and peeked through the tiny hole.

"I think we did."she whispered back.

I was about to say something when the door flew open widely, exposing us to whoever opened it.

Silence followed as I stared up at none other than Adam.I knew it had only been a day but I felt like I hadn't seen him in years, all I wanted to do was wrap my arms around him.He was dressed in a black suit, looking as handsome as he always did.

I studied him closely, waiting for some kind of reaction from him but to my disappointment none came, his eyes the normal green that they usually were still seemed alien to me, there wasn't the spark that I would always see when he looked at me.

His expression was blank, like he was in another world , exactly what Lorna had said.

"Adam."I whispered and to my surprise his head snapped up upon hearing his name on my mouth and for a split second he seemed to gain some control over himself as his breath hitched.

"What are you doing here!"someone screamed angrily at the door.

I narrowed my eyes at the sight in front me.

Zilda!

She was dressed in a white wedding dress  and I must say it didn't suit her well, she only looked good in dark shades,a colour as pure and beautiful as white didn't take her because she was a dark person inside.

Her hair was rolled up in a neat bun with curls on each side of her face and she was clutching her dress tightly as she looked at the scene in front of her.

"Adam come to me!"she commanded.

I watched in horror as his eyes changed from green to a blazing orange, bringing him back to his robot self as he walked towards her, obeying her every word.

"How can you even stand yourself after what you did?Look at him!He is practically a robot! Is that what you want?"I shouted unable to control the anger boiling inside me.I truly disliked this girl!

She laughed , an evil one as she clutched Adam's arms in hers."I don't care as long as he is mines.Guards throw them in the dungeons!"she ordered.

I looked behind her for the first time realising that their were guards in the room.

They walked over to Lorna and I , grabbing our arms roughly.

"Let go off me!"I shouted, trying to pull free from their grip.

"Shut up!" the guards hissed as they dragged us out of the room and threw us into the dungeons.

"Are you okay?"Lorna asked pulling me up from the ground.

No I wasn't !My soulmate, the love of my life will be married to someone he doesn't love within a few minutes and there was absolutely nothing I could do because I was stuck in a filthy cage!

Despite my thoughts I managed a nod for Lorna's sake.

We both dusted out our clothing as we searched our surroundings for some sign of escape.

And of course since I had all the bad luck in the world, there was absolutely no way Lorna and I could get out of here, at least not in time to stop the wedding.

"There is no hope."I cried.

"We don't know that yet."Lorna whispered trying to brighten my mood but we both knew there was no hope.

"Why don't  you try to teleport us?"

I tried  and it didn't  work!

I closed my eyes, resting my head against the wall for support.

I couldn't loose Adam, he meant everything to me!What could I do?

His words always kept replaying in my head, those three words that had made me the happiest person on earth, oh how I wished I could hear him whisper to me that he loved me, at least one more time!

I had lost!

"Krysta!"a musical voice whispered, my eyes snapped open realising that the voice was familiar but didn't belong to Lorna.

Lorna gasped besides me , her mouth wide open as she stared at the person in front me.

Well not person,persons, not even persons but angels!!!!

My two guardian angels!

Chloe and Joe !

I moved off the wall and ran to hug them both.

"Where have you guys been?"I asked smiling despite all that was happening.

"We haven't been far, we always kept looking out for you but since our last meeting we were forbidden to see you so we had to keep our distance but now you truly do need our help so we came back to see if we can be off some assistance."Chloe said smiling brightly.

"I'm so glad you are here!"I exclaimed hugging them again.

"So we saw all that happened between you and Adam and I must tell you it was the most—"Chloe began.

"Do you guys not realise there is a wedding taking place upstairs, a wedding that we must stop!"Joe said annoyed .

I'm glad he reminded us though, I was going to get my Adam back, no matter what!

I looked at Lorna and tried to stifle a giggle, she was still staring at the angels wide-eyed, completely speechless.

"Um Lorna, you ready?"I asked snapping her out of her thoughts.

She finally came back to her normal not in shock self and nodded her head.

"So how are we getting out of here?"I asked curiously.

Joe chuckled and pointed to the already melted steel bars in front of us.

How could I have not seen that before?

"Thank you!"I exclaimed hugging them yet again.

They smiled and hugged me back."Don't mention it.Now hurry before its too late."Chloe muttered.

I grabbed Lorna's hand as we both ran up the stairs, thankfully there were no guards in our way and I had a feeling my guardian angels had something to do with that.

It was not long before we had reached the assembly area, both of us running onto the stage where everything was happening.

"Do you Adam Prince of bad vampires take the lovely Zilda—"

"Noooo!" I screamed out in horror, causing all eyes to turn on me.

"What's the meaning of this!"King Richard yelled obviously not to happy that I interrupted the ceremony.

"Adam is my soulmate and the only person he will be marrying is me!"I shouted making sure everyone heard my words.

"He doesn't love you!"Zilda hissed.

"Yes he does!"I pressed.

"If he loves you then why is he marrying me!"she exclaimed.

I narrowed my eyes at her, the nerve of this girl!" Because he is under a spell and you know it!"I said angrily.

Her eyes widened at my words, as if she didn't expect me to say it in front of everyone."That's absurd."she replied.

"Really?"I challenged her walking closer to where she and Adam stood.

"Look at him he is practically a robot! He doesn't say or do anything unless you command him to do it!"I added.

Everyone gasped at hearing my words and I knew Zilda knew that she had been caught red handed.

But she ignored everyone as she spoke to Adam again.

"You will marry me now!"she ordered  him and I felt my heart ache as he turned to obey her wishes.

I couldn't let that happen however since no one else seemed to move a muscle to stop the wedding, I had to do something.

I grabbed a knife from the table, where the wedding cake lay and placed it into Adam's hands, turning him to face me.

"If you are going through with this wedding Adam you might as well end my life here.I love you and I can't live without you, I rather die than have to live a lifetime without you by my side."I cried.

"You heard her, kill her!"Zilda shouted smiling widely as everyone else stared in horror.

I closed my eyes and waited for the impact, however none came.

Instead I heard the loud sound of the knife making contact with  the floor.

I opened my eyes and found Adam staring at me, my Adam!It wasn't the robot Adam, it was mine Adam standing in front me in all his glory.There was the same shine in his eyes as he stared at me in shock and confusion.

"I...I don't..Krysta..baby..I am so sorry."he cried kneeling down in front of me.This was the first time I had ever seen tears  in his eyes and it broke my heart to see him that way.

"Please forgive me, I don't understand.."he continued.

I knelt down besides him and held him in my arms."Its okay, you don't need to apologise, it wasn't your fault."I assured him, holding onto him tightly.

"I betrayed you, I was going to marry someone else!I held a knife in my hands!How could it not be my fault!"he cried again, his body shuddering  at realising how close he came to actually harming me.

"Adam sweetie, you don't understand, you were under a spell."I tried explaining.

He shook his head."It doesn't matter, I should of been stronger."

How could I convince him that everything was okay?That he didn't need to worry now, he was back that was all I needed to be happy.

"Adam listen to me, this wasn't your fault, stop blaming yourself, I love you!"I whispered hoping he would listen this time.

He looked directly into mine eyes  with his tear streaked face, finally calming down.

"I love you too."he whispered before planting his lips on mines.

Applause rose up in the entire room as Adam and I kissed and I couldn't help but smile against his lips.
