Maria's mind is blank.

"You four knew you are different from the other children. "
"That is your ticket to Magical. "

Those words made absolutely no sense to her.
She flinched when she remembered the worst sentence.

"Find me. "

Maria moved swiftly. She grabbed her book, her things. And walked towards the door.

"Hey!  Where are you going! " Lucillla asked.

"Home. I had enough magic for today. " Maria said, not looking at the girls.

"You can't just walk away! " Lucilla's words echoed, not only in the disturbed shop their in, but way more in Maria's mind.

Maria still didn't bother to look at them. "I had no connection to this! You guys dragged me here. Cursed me with telekinesis, and assigned me a huge mission! I was at peace before all of this happened. "

Maria felt a hand on her shoulder. "Maria... No one is assigning you... "

"And you! " Maria turned to Mara,  and jolted her arm away. "You made my life miserable when you came to my house!  And now this?! "

Daniella intruded and held Maria's arm down. "Calm down. "

Maria's eyes widened. She looked around her. All of them had fear in their eyes. Fear of her.

She jerked her arm away. "I'm going home. "

She continued to walk towards the door. Mara followed her.

Before the two of them leave the building,  Daniella said her farewell.

"No matter what you say. Somebody is counting on us. 'Find me'"

Maria paused for a while. "No... I'm never gonna do it again. " she thought. Then she left.

Maria can't believe her ears when she got home .

"You got the wrong house dear. We don't have any daughter-"

"Or anyone who lives in this household-"

"Named Maria. "

There was no way Maria's head can process the events before her.With mouth wide open she tried to explain things. "Mom!  Dad?!  What are you talking about?!  I live here!  For 14 years to be exact!!!  "

"We-we-"

"Let me through,  I don't have time for this! "

But the adults blocked her path.  "Woah!  Little lady this is not your house. I suggest you leave. "

She doesn't know what to do, her mind went blank.

"Honey. Maybe we should call the police. " Maria's mom said as she looked scared at her husband.

That was enough to send Maria running.

When Mara and Maria finally found a place to settle down, Maria sat to catch her breath. She sat down under a huge bridge. It matched her current feelings. Cold and dark.

Mara was cautious to approach her.  "Maria I-"

She was stopped halfway "what did you do? "

Mara stepped back. "I didn't do anything this time. I swear."

Maria was not tired enough to suppress her anger. "Then what the hell happened back there huh?!" she shouted as she stood up and stepped forward towards Mara

"Maria you have to calm down first!" Mara's forceful shout made out of her trembling lips. "I can't explain it to you if you're like this!"

Maria's not calming down with all the stuff Mara's saying. "How can I be calm at a time like this Mara?" she turned her back. her arms waving in mid-air -"My parents forgot they had a daughter, Mara. A daughter named Maria Anne Nether, a 14-year old daughter for crying out loud."

Mara was forced to looked at the ground.

"And my twins... They must've forgot about me too..." Maria turned back to Mara. "All of those memories gone?! And you're asking me to be calm?!"

Mara gasped at what she had created. " I-i didn't mean...I didn't mean it for you to cry Maria..." she reached out at Maria's cheeks. " I am so sorry..."

"Huh?" Maria stepped back, to feel her cheeks. "Why am I crying. Don't change the subject Mara! My parents-"

A hug

Mara whispered in Maria's ears. " I'm so sorry. I didn't mean any of this to happen."

"Push her away! What the hell is she doing!?" but Maria's hands didn't move an inch. She wanted to shout to scream at Mara... But she just cried more. "Nggg...."

Mara smiled warmly. "I'm still here, Maria...You're not alone."

Maria's hands acted on their own and made their way to hug Mara back. "Hold me..."

"Magicalities barely make their way in the Normalities dimension." Mara started to explain.

"You lost me at 'ties' Mara."

Mara chuckled. "Normalities, Maria. Normalities are the humans. The ones without magical abilities."

"From the word Normal?" Maria scoffed. "Kinda lame."

Mara rolled her eyes. " Magicalities are the one like us. People who have magical abilities."

"Ok... " Maria noticed a branch drifting away in the river. She waved her hand upwards, imagining the result at the same time. The branch did the same "So I guess I can control things now?"

"Yes..."

Maria released the branch and it made a little splash on the river. "Why do Magicalites barely made their way to our world?"

"There is no source of magical energy here. In order to keep using your powers you must be full of magical energy right?"

"I guess..."

"If you're all out of magical energy then you'll become tired and won't be able to use powers. Your body will automatically replenish your magical energy in Magica. But if you're here it won't be possible."

"Oh... "

"That's why every time a magicalitie is present in this dimension, if they won't go to Magica then something will happen to force them to go."

Maria's face turned grim " Like erasing your parent's memories."

Mara tried to sound cheerful for her friend. "Don't worry Maria. If you spend one year at Magica, you could decide whether to stay or return with everything back to normal."

Maria cracked a smile. "Really?" then she sighed. "but one year is a really long time."

"Not when you're having fun."

Maria smirked at her friend. "Right, fun?"

"I know you like your powers Maria. What's more to a dimension full of them?"

"Shut up Mara."

"See?"

Then they both laughed.

"Glad to see you're in a good mood." a voice said.

Maria turned around "Daniella..."

Lucilla ran towards Maria. " I am so sorry for the accusations i said!" she shouted as she ran towards her friend.

"It's fine we were all confused at that time." she looked at all of them. " How did you find me?"

Angelica showed her rose. "They kinda act like a GPS to me."

"That make sense." 

Daniella stared at Maria. "You ready?"

Lucilla let go of Maria. Maria nodded with enthusiasm . "You bet."

Daniella smirked. "First lets study what we're gonna do once we got to the school."

"How do you know there's a school?" Lucilla asked.

" What dimension doesn't have any school?"

Lucilla tried to think of one. "Uh.."

"Exactly. I'm guesing that's where we are headed once we arrive at Magica. The guy said our necklace will act as our I.Ds. The guy stated a prophecy, dont you think?"

Everyone nodded

"The map in the lost and rotten
Shall be the guide in the treasure long forgotten." Daniella repeated the words of the guy they saw in their books.

Angelica sighed. "The rest were vague."

Daniella pondered for a moment." I think we will find more answers once we the map."

"Hope so." Lucilla murmured.

Maria thought for moment. "I suggest we should look for something abandoned in the school"

"I'm thinking of the same thing" Daniella smirked at Maria. 

"The prophecy said in the lost and rotten. Probably something like a hidden bunker that's haven't been used."

"So asking people is out of question?" Angelica asked

"I guess. I'm pretty what we're looking for is something hidden." Daniella put her hand in her chin. "I was actually thinking we could use your powers Angelica."

"I'm not sure. But I'll give it a go." Angelica nodded

"ooooh! This is so exciting!!" Lucilla chanted "I wonder if we're gonna face monsters! Or evil creatures!!

Maria raised her hands in defense " I hope not. Not after what we've faced in that shop."

Daniella shook her shoulders. "Who knows, once we get into that dimension our magical energies will replenish. Meaning we'll get stronger and have the ability to kill those things."

Maria and Angelica looked at each other. Then they both laughed nervously.

"So when does it sound ok for you guys?"

"How about tomorrow?" Maria suggested. "It's just one year Maria. After that everything will return the way it was."  when she looked at the other girls they were utterly shocked. "What?"

"Nothing. It's just the way you acted earlier defies what you said just now."

"speaking big words again, Daniella" Lucilla commented.

"I did nothing of sort!"

"Keeps getting worse..."

"Just because you can't understand what I'm saying doesn't mean you have to tease me about it!"

Lucilla turned red. "Who said I didn't understand what you just said!"

Angelica sighed "There they go again...."

"They must like each other." Maria smiled.

"Say why did you decided to go tomorrow immediately?"

"Well...I guess partly because I don't have a place to stay tonight."

"What!?"

"Yah well.. It's a long story."

"Stay in my place."

"What?! No that'll be-"

"Your welcome. It's late anyways you don't have much of a choice."

Maria paused for a moment. "Is it really ok?"

Angelica beamed "ofcourse! No one's really at home so..." Angelica's voice died down.

"What?" 

"Nothing! How about you tell me what happened to you while we're getting at my house!"

Angelica closed the door to her room. "Wow. Your parents lost their memories, huh? "

Maria smiled weakly. "Yah... And I have no idea how to get their memories back except to do what Mara suggested. "

"Magica can't be that bad. "Anglica tried to sound upbeat. "I mean maybe the things move on their own. I won't have to fix my bed. "

"Or wash the dishes. " Maria smiled.

Angelica couldn't help but giggle at her idea. "Now you're getting it! " after fixing her things by the table, she sat down beside Maria.

"How come you're joyful about this? "Maria asked, her eyebrows furrowed.

The shock from Angelica's face was so obvious that she,  herself didn't notice until Maria's face changed to pity. "I-i'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"

"Huh?  " then it hit her. "O-oh...  No it's just, haha...  I don't know what came to me. "

Maria didn't know what to say

Then Angelica showed her flowers. "Actually, out of the four of us the real Normalitie is me. "

"What why?  You can manipulate plants, isn't that a special ability? "

Angelica shook her head. "I can only manipulate this rose. After they disassemble for some reason they form again when I needed them. "

"That's still and ability, you know? "

"This is a heirloom from my mom. She is the magicalitie not me. "

Maria processed all the information first before speaking. "Your... Mom? "

"I don't have much memories of her. But the ones I have are warm, and soft. " Angelica's hands moved around the rose carefully. Like the rose itself will break if she's not careful. "And happy... "

"...is she dead? "

Angelica nodded slowly

"I-i'm sorry. "

"You know the memories that are really clear? "

"What .. ? "

"Tons and tons of motherly advices...' Angelica, sweetheart don't be sad when I die. I didn't live my life half-heartedly,  and I want you to do the same ' " Angelica's hands didn't stop stroking the rose in her hand. " ' Angelica, you know why I named you that way?   Because you're my precious little angel... ' 'Angelica always fight for what is right, got it?  No matter what anyone says. You got to follow your heart, ok? ' 'Angelica, don't ever ever give up. Cause once you do that's the time you've really lost. '"

Maria smiled. "She was special was she. "

"Very special. She was unique,  Maria. She's not like any mother. " tears streamed down her face. " 'Angelica... You don't know this yet... But you're very special darling. Use these roses before that happens ok? '" Angelica couldn't help but cry harder.  " ' I won't be able to guide you for long, but these will. Imagine them as me, ok? '"

Angelica felt a pat on her shoulder. Maria was there smiling like a true friend who feels the same as her. "She was awesome Angelica. And I'm sure you are too. You'll activate your true powers someday. "

"Thanks. " she gently wiped her tears away. " You're something else huh. "

Maria smiled, confused. "What do you mean? "

Angelica shrugged "It's just that I've never told anyone about my mom. "

"But I didn't do anything. "

"Exactly my point. "

"Huh? "

Angelica stretched her arms out. "We should probably get to sleep. It's a big day tomorrow. "

Maria turned towards the window. Showing the black dark night. Which made her remember how much happened in one fateful day

"Yah... "
