"It was the year 1634 , I was young and foolish" James explained. Well for a minute or two I would say I was shocked as hell, did he just say 1634?  Wow he must be pretty old but he looks so young and stunning well perks of being a vampire I guess.

James continued.

"I met and fell in love with a woman whose name was Asyer, well she was the most beautiful girl In our village. Well that was all, before I met your mother" he stopped speaking for like a minute and stared at my mom with a warm smile plastered on his face before he continued.

"Me and Asyer were so In love that we promised that when we grow older we would get married and have as many children as we want, but all that changed when I meet your mother it was like I had an electric pull towards her" hmm that's just like what I feel when am with Tom.. Weird right? " then I found out you mom was my mate"

    "Wait you mean mate like soulmate?" I asked, curiosity getting ahead of me.

"Yes, Elisa soulmates" he said simply.

  "Wait isn't that only for werewolves or am I wrong?" I asked another question

"Well honey you're partly right and wrong" my mother answered

"I don't understand what does that even mean"

"Well I'm guessing you watch too much twilight that's why" Tom spoke up with a teasing tone surprising me. Anyways before I knew it he was hit at his back of his head by Riana " shut up tom" Riana said to tom glaring at him.. He just muttered something under his breath that I couldn't quite catch.

    "Ehrm Ehrm silence" James said in a highly kingly manner...does he have a soar throat or is he addicted to clearing his throat.

"Now Elisa let me explain" argh again with the addition of a prefix .. "As you said before a mate is just a short form of the word soulmate , a soulmate is like your other half when both soulmates meet they make each other complete..and yes it is mostly werewolves that have mates their mates are decided by the moon goddess while vampires mates are decided by the red sun goddess or as we vampire like to call the blood sun goddess..but vampires also do have mates but just few do, mostly royals that have mates.. Like in my case I am your mothers mate and the same goes for her...so now that I have explained the word ',mate' can I go back to the story" James directed the question towards me.. I nodded hesitatingly..

"Wait does that mean you're a royal.." I asked .. Argh stupid stupid mouth of mine

"Don't worry all your questions will be answered soon just listen" he said with a small smile..

  "Okay now nobody is to distrub my story" he said gazing at everyone that was sat down here.

  "Now as I was saying when I found out that your mother was my mate I left Asyer.. I know it sounds cruel but a mate bond is stronger than anything I have seen .. Asyer was soo depressed for a very long time that it killed her.. But unknowingly to us, we didn't know she was a vampire witch.. Yes she was a vampire who was also a witch.. When she died I and your mother did go for her burial we were very sad especially your mother" James said slightly turning his gaze to my mother "your mother hated herself for a very long time because she felt that it was her fault that Asyer died. But something happened when we went for Asyers burial her twin sister Ayer confronted us she was very angry to see us so she placed a curse on your mother and I, with her being a witch and all.. The curse was that our second born child which has to be a female will be killed by her mate if she doesn't not unleash her full powers" James finished his explanation and I used that as an opportunity to ask him a question.

"Okayy... soo how does this relate to me in anyways" I asked, still not understanding.

 
"Because you are the child that's she placed the curse on honey" my mum answer.. Well her answer made me to look like a fish cause I was opening and closing my mouth in disbelief, then realization hit me

"Wait what about him?" I asked pointing at the faded blond haired boy sitting at my front.

   "What about me?" the faded blond haired boy asked

"Well I might be really slow at getting the hang of things but if am not mistaking I take that the three of you" I said point at the mini version of me, Riana and the faded blonde haired boy "are my siblings.. Am I correct?" I asked somehow nervous..

"Yes they are, what are you getting at honey" my mother asked.

"Well I'm sure  he" directing my hands towards the faded blonde haired boy " is older than me ..isn't he like the second born or something " I asked .. Obviously knowing that Riana was the first born.. How? I don't even know..

" yes Elisa he is the second born but since he was a male Ayers curse reverted to you" James answered. Okay by now I was just I don't know.. Numb? I didn't even know if I should be surprised, scared or angry.

        "Ok" that was all I could say.

"Any other question honey" My mother asked, sympathy and regret dancing in her eyes.

 " yes I have five more questions, mom why did you fake your death, why don't I have any memories of Riana and.." I couldn't complete the question because I didn't know the name of my older brother but thankfully I was saved when he said.

     "Call me Derik or older brother or any shortened form of my name" he said smiling towards me I smiled back also.

I could then complete my question "Riana and Derik after all they are older than me ..when can I go home? also does aunt Veridice know about the existence of vampires ..what are the full powers I have to unlock...And finally do you know who my mate is, or how would I find him?" I finished asking my questions

"Honey you ask a lot of questions they were even more than five" My mother chuckled lightly

"Well she is your daughter.. Like mother like daughter" dad..(yes I have finally accepted him as my father)..teased her

" yes , yes she is" mom said with a small yet warm smile.

"Well let me answer your questions now honey, hat story is for a later time...The question about me faking my death" she said smiling warmly at me with an apologetic look.

"And you don't have memories of your siblings because we wiped your memories for your own safety we compelled you to forget.. Well that is one of our abilities as vampires..if you want them back, they are your memories we would immediately give them back because you're no longer in the human world you're now in the vampire realm" Wow, so I wasn't expecting that kind of response, I was utterly shocked to a very great extent. I wonder why I'm still sane by now, am i actually even still sane? I don't even know anymore.

Seriously did they really have to wipe out my memory? but strangely I actually wasn't angry since she said they did it for my safety I kinda feel grateful.

"Honey from now on this is your home" she answered my third question..with a kind of duh tone...

" and also yes my sister Veredice knows about vampires existence she is actually my half sister" she said the last part chuckling to herself .. Huh I didn't know they were half sisters ... Wow my life is really not what I thought it was before..its just full of secrets.

"Honey concerning your powers you have to unlock is within you"

"I know I get what you said.. I have watched a lot of supernatural movies.. But that's not my question I mean 'what' is the power or what type of powers do I have" ok right now I was getting frustrated and tired .. Argh let's just get over this once and for all

"Ok Elisa listen well" dad started talking "the powers you have are very extraordinary .. Normally royals have extraordinary powers, but yours are quite different.. Listen to me carefully and don't be surprised all of us sat here we are all royals. I am the king of all vampires your mother is the queen and you and your siblings are all royal also , you're a princess the second princess of this land" why am I not surprised well he called me a princess before.. "And in our family tree you can trace few vampire witches. All of us here have a rather minuet amount of witch blood flowing within us. But yours is different because you're a full vampire witch. Asyers curse on you boasted the amount of magic powers within you and the most fascinating thing is that you might be the strongest vampire ever born" dad finished saying fluently.. Well I was beyond shocked... Lord should I just pass out. That will be much better and easier than any of this.. And wait isn't it always the first born that gets curse .. Wow that woman is twisted in the freakin brain.

"Okay I'll admit that was a lot to take in" I said breathlessly

" I know honey I'm surprised you're still very much sane by now you're a strong girl Lisana" mom smiled widely

"Well she is my daughter after all that's a given " dad said with a proud smile plastered on his face.

"Right" Everybody said sarcastically while laughing.. Well I'll admit it made me smile also.

And finally the question that  I have been waiting for to be answered. Mom continued.

"And honey, well if you're looking for your mate, he is sitting down right next to you. I am pretty sure you already knew that within you, your full vampire senses might not have kicked in fully but no matter what, a person always knows their soulmate" she said smiling brightly. And then I  turned to my left but Riana was the one sitting there.. so I slowly turn to my right and, Holy shit.

It was him after all.
