CHAPTER 8:

"Huh?" was all I could say
Because what he said was just not possible. I started laughing out loud uncontrollably. I believe I heard incorrectly.

"Haha ....that was ...really funny.. ehrm ..sorry what's your name" I said talking while laughing.

"It's James..but I'd also like it if you could call me dad" the man said with an awkward smile. So I was actually shocked when he gave me that response but I still didn't want to give in..so I did the next best thing I could possibly think of ...I continued laughing... What you can't blame me I think they might be all crazy. No I'm sure of it that.

"Wow that was hilarious guys seriously... Are there hidden cameras or something ...or better yet is this a movie shoot for tge originals or vampire diaries" I asked looking at each and every one of them that was sitted on the dining table..but to my amazement they all looked pretty damn serious.

"I know Lisana it's pretty hard to believe but it's the truth" James or should I say my dad said(huge sarcasm present by the way)...like seriously how many names do I have now. First Elisa now Lisana, they all sound like Lisa but with either a suffix or a prefix.

"Yh right ..just give me one reason why I should believe you or anything you guys say" I said looking at him intensely with a hard gaze.

"Cupcake we don't  have to give you any prove or any reason ...you have the prove within you... Haven't you ever been curious about your powers?" Tom suprised me when he started speaking and asked that question.

I almost forgot that he was here, and also yes I always wondered about my powers but I didn't expect this to be the answer. I didn't expect any of this at all.

 "My name is Lisa and not cupcake..jerk" I murmured the last path under my breath.

"Sure cupcake 'sure' "  he said the last part stressing the sure,  "so have you or have you not ever wondered how you have your powers?" Tom repeated his previous question.

"Yes... So what does that have to do with this"I responded truthfully.

"Please stop acting retarted cupcake .. I'm sure somewhere in your mind you already believe us, I mean what other explaination do you have, huh tell me?" seriously what's wrong with this dude how can he be so nice and insultive at the same time like seriously "retarted and cupcake"  those two words don't fit together in anyway.

As much as I wanted to slap him for insulating me that I was retarted I held my ground.

"Even though. you can't still expect me to believe any of this, now do you?" I asked a question of my own, looking back at James. It's true we haven't even gotten to the part were he called himself my dad.

  "I'm sorry Lisana but that's the truth and nothing but the truth" what the hell is this a law court 'the truth and nothing but the truth really?'
 
 But even after what James said that I still was determined not to believe any form of their lies. So I didn't say anything after that, I looked at all of them one by one trying to detect the lie.

 "You know what..enough of this" Tom suddenly said, he stood up and he did the next most unbelievably impossible thing I have ever seen or should I say no human being has ever seen. In less than a second he was in front of me I didn't even see him move and here he was standing directly in front of me, our breathes almost mixing I mean he was still hella tall, my heart was beating very fast, but seriously I don't even know why my heart was beating that fast, was it because of what I just saw? No no no I don't think that's why.. I think it's because he was standing toooo close to me ..oh Jesus I hope am not as red as a tomatoe by now.

"What's wrong princess do you believe us now?" Tom asked with a smirking.

Oh shit he just made it worse why did he talk ...argh now I know am definitely blushing..but why......because his hot damnit!, and I knew it.

 Oh whatever I give up.. and next thing I know am losing myself to darkness. Last thing I see are vibrant red glowing eyes.

Toms POV:

"Seriously man ..did you have to scare her like that?" Derik asked looking at me with a hard gaze. He just meet Lisa and he was already this much protective of her. Impressive.

"Chill man..I didn't mean to scare her like that. I didn't know that she would just blackout "

  "Anyways Tomas please take her to her room" James said.

I sighed Gently picking her up to her room, as I looked at Lisa all I could feel was pity, like seriously just imagine you wake up one day and find out your dead mother is alive and even worse you're a vampire that will be just so messed up, even I a royal vampire will be freaked out.

As I carried her up the stairs I was awaiting her weight but to my suprise she was as light as a feather or was it my supernatural strength... As I reached the door of her room I gently opened the door and went to her bed and laid her down and covered her with the sheets and suddenly she opens her eyes and stares at me.

"Am guessing you like what you see huh?" I asked in a playful Tone.

Lisa's POV
"Am guessing you like what you see huh" tom said to me smirking down at me.

"What no" I said...of course I like what I see...my subconscience contradicted..but in reality I looked at him as if he was crazy. Sigh, the things we do to avoid embarrassment.

"Sure then why are you staring" at first I didn't comprehend what he said, but when I  realized heat started slowly rising to my cheek.

"Oh sorry" I said while looking at everywhere apart from him...
"Aww it's so cute when you blush princess" he said with a mocking voice which was actually cute by the way. Wait no, bad Lisa.

"Shut up" I murmured under my breath...blushing more furiously now.

"Aww cupcake is embarrassed " Tom said still using that his mocking annoyingly cute voice. Lord can I murder him now?!?

  "Yh whatever and stop smirking" I told him.

"Why cupcake is it because you are falling for my smirk..orrr is it me you're falling for" he responded winking at me....argh now there is winking?..I am pretty much still having a problem with his smirk...

" No because when you do that you look like a woman in labour" I rhetorted.

"Ouch princess didn't know you were the mean type, that went in deep" he said feigning he was hurt. I'm pretty sure I was so fuckin red now..he then started chuckling lightly which brought out his 'to die for dimples' that was on one cheek..which was the far most cutest thing I had ever seen. This is highly unnatural.

"Anyways let's forget about that now ...don't try to avoid my questions charming ...ok I believe you guys are vampires but how am I related to being a vampire, as far as I know my mom is very much human" curiosity blooming out of me...wow the nickname seriously Lisa seriously..you couldn't think of something better...

"It's not my place to tell you princess but don't worry we all will explain everything to you tomorrow " he said while keeping a straight face

"Sleep princess, after all there is a saying that says a princess needs her beauty sleep" he said while walking to the door, switching off the lights and leaving me in the room alone...is it a bad or a good thing that I want him to stay with me?...my subconscience spoke once again.....

  After some few minutes I fell into a deep slumber....and this time there were no nightmares.
