"Now close your eyes and imagine a black wall". Frank said.

I did as I was told. I blocked away the stray thoughts in my mind and concentrated on black wall.

"There is darkness everywhere surrounding you. Now imagine a small white dot on that black wall. Just concentrate on white dot in the arena of black" he continued.

"The ball is now growing slowly. Very slowly. Now the ball is vibrating too. Concentrate on both the processes. Now the size is double. Keep vibrating and growing the size of the ball. Don't divert your mind or it will break your concentration" he warned.

I was doing exactly the same what professor was commanding. My ball was thrice its size and was increasing every second.

"Just keep doing it until the ball has covered the whole wall."

After a few minutes when my white ball has covered the whole wall and only white was visible to me , I opened my eyes.

"This increases your concentration and your ability to control your magic and powers. And doing it regularly will indicate your gifted spirit".

"But how will this convey my gifted spirit?" I asked with curiosity.

"If you will practice this exercise regularly then one day your white ball will change into the colour of your gifted spirit".

"And for how many days I will have to practice and the duration too". I asked.

"It may take months or years depending upon the extent of your powers and potential."

"Years" I asked horrified "But isn't it too much . It will take too much time for me to be fully trained."

"That I know dear. But you are a untrained Fairus . If you had begun with your magical studies earlier it wouldn't have been this duration. You should do it for thirty minutes at least three times a day" he clarified.

This a long term course . What if it really takes years , then I will be trapped here for such a long time.

"Meet me tomorrow , I will teach you some basic magic that you could do after training for some days."

I nodded.

I was wandering in the gardens when someone hugged me from behind.

"Kriss it worked. He was staring at me" Alice said.

"Really?" I asked.

"I was practicing with one of the guards when he came. He asked if I could practice with him. I agreed and then we practiced together. He talked about his interests and his favourite magical strikes. And later we went went for horse riding". She was jumping fervently in excitement.

"That's really great. Finally he has eyes on you" I said keeping my hand on her shoulder.

"Marie do you know anything about Jack , son of the captain" I asked Marie and signalled her to sit beside me.

"My lady, I don't know much because I joined the palace only six months earlier. But I can tell you what I have heard" she said.

I nodded.

"He is not actually the son of captain. He is the sin of captain's late sister. After his parents died , he came to live with his uncle. His mother was a good friend of queen Isabella . So queen Isabella has a special place for him , she treats him like his son. And he us extremely powerful and strong fueled with fortitude which makes him even likeable to the King."

Well that's the reason why Jack was in the meeting and was sitting beside queen Isabella. They trust him blindly.

"And what about the prince. You told me that I will see him in the meeting with King Louis'. I asked.

"My lady , he visits the palace very often. He is always engaged in matters confidential to the king and beneficial for the realm" she said " I was infirmed that he will arrive but he hasn't come yet".

"Thanks a lot for your information. Marie , I was just asking because I wanted to know about them just like that. You know I am from a different kingdom , that's why. Don't take it in another way. I hope you won't tell anybody."

"Absolutely miss" she assured me and left.
