After taking a sound sleep , I went back to my room. Why Jack always have to wear his mask. He looks so dashing without it, he is so mysterious. I bet , he is hiding something behind the mask. Anyway , he looks cute even with his mask on but he resembles to someone , to whom I cannot put my finger .

I was about to clutch the handle of the door to my room when Alice shouted across the corridor.

"Hey, Gracie" she ran towards me , breathing in and out quickly.

"Why are you covered in sweat . Where have you been?" I asked , worried.

"I was running in fields behind the castle. Before you , I was on a secret mission with my father to another kingdom. Since then , I haven't got time to train myself. I just wanted to build some stamina" she said , dabbing a napkin on her head.

"Well, that's great. You want to talk everything here or you will come inside" I said , gesturing her to come inside first.

"Have you talked to him?"she asked , walking in.

"No, I went to his room but he wasn't there" I said , closing the door. I lied. I didn't wanted her to get acquaint of my embarrassing incident with Jack.

I noticed that my bag was delivered and was lying on the floor by the bed post. I want to know about Jack. Maybe , Alice knows something about him. I need to dig things out of her.

"Who is Jack? Do you know anything about him?" I asked her.

"I don't really know much about him. He is the son of the captain , that's what Christopher told me. But I doubt , that there's something more to him. When we went to look for him while you were in the inn , Christopher wasn't taking his name . And in the morning today, Christopher and Jack were talking outside the prince's room . I was just passing , but I think I heard Christopher calling him ' Your Highness ' . I am not sure so don't take it as a statement ." she said.

" You think so too. You know , I also think that he is hiding something" I said , rolling my eyes.

" But why do we care , it's his wish to keep a secret. Who are we to penetrate his personal life . And my primary concern is Christopher right at the moment" she said , dreamily. Obviously , she is thinking about Christopher.

" You are right. Alice I was thinking.... If I try to know Christopher's feelings about you he may get suspicious. We need to maneuver something , so that he likes you" I said trying to deviate the topic away from Jack.

Alice nodded as she agreed. " Maybe , he like girls who fight . I know you are a great warrior. Has he seen you fight? " I asked.

"Many times. But it doesn't make any difference" she said , dropping her head.

"Then I think we need to work on your appearance". It wasn't that she is not beautiful. Her blue eyes, long brown hairs always pleated to perfection. She is always elegant , decent and a great warrior too." First , you need to change your hairstyle. Maybe if you look a little different then he will be attracted towards you. Second , your outfits. You always wear full length gowns which are very simple . I can help you " I said.

"Really , you will help me. Thanks a lot" she hugged me tightly. We discussed some more things and I told her that I will meet her after the king in her room and then we will work on her appearance.

After taking a bath , I wore a green halter neck day dress. Marie brought a woman with her in my room who looked quite fashionable.

"My lady, this is Miss Sally , she is one of the best designers in our kingdom. She is here to take your measurements and then she will prepare the best gowns for you" she said.

"It would me nice if you could stitch some pants and shorts for me too . I am more comfortable in them than these gowns , which are very difficult to carry." I said.

Marie and Sally exchanged looks. But it's not my fault. In my world I used wear such clothes and I find them comfortable. But in this world , they mostly wear gowns.

Miss Sally took my various measurements which was quite tiring for me. Then she ensured me to provide best pants , shorts and gowns . And then she left.
