Part Ten: Mind

Hello!! I'm baaaack! I've got so much ideas! And this is way too long. Enjoy!

"S-So you're not all flirtatious?" Marinette asked as he walked aside Leo.

Leo rested the back of his head on his arms, "nah. I just play around 'cause I like toying Abigail, but I'm not really a flirt or a pervert. Abigail's outlooks are just weird,"

"Oh, so.. is the place far?"

"Look, I'll just be there to escort you and keep you safe. But I do not like the way you ask too many questions," Leo said, passing ahead of her.

"Hey, is that what I think it is?" He saw someone pass the tramway, "Dante! Hey Dante!"

Dante turned and smiled kindly, he waved back. "Hey Leo, I see you're in a date now.."

"What?!" Marinette freaked.

Leo pushed her away from Dante who stared at her in a decurved position. "You idiot, she's one of the Twin Hearts!"

"Ah, the Ladybug." Dante scratched his nape as he embarrassingly blushed, "sorry, everyone in the council thinks of Leo as a womanizer. I forgot that he wasn't, he just acts like one.."

This is..the cursed Dante Moreau? Marinette thought, staring at Dante who laughed with Leo. He isn't like what I've heard from Adrien..

"H-Hey, aren't you a member of the council too?" Marinette asked.

"You're forgetful?"

"N-No, there's just too many people in the council that I've forgotten."

Dante sighed in relief, "thank god, I thought you were like Réne or something." Marinette raised a brow, but he blinked twice, "n-never mind that. I'm the Azure Dragon /or Mystical Dragon of the Guardian Council, but I simply prefer to Azure Dragon.. I'm Dante Moreau, nice to meet you."

Whoa, he isn't like the lazy guy from before. Marinette thought, from the looks from it, he looks like a different person.

"Isn't Lyra with you?" Leo asked, "is she lost again?"

"What? No. She's hanging with her friends today back at school. She's a second-year student, I guess.."

"Second-year of sophomore high school?" Leo queried, "man, that's beat. I thought you guys were in the same age,"

"I'm currently 22 now. I've finished college before I met her," Dante retorted and raked at Marinette, "what are you at this type of hour? It's nearly evening. Shouldn't you be with the other Twin Heart?"

"Yeah, but he had to go somewhere. And so, I had a dream about him calling help and I decided to help him," Marinette explained in the most awkward way. "Just so you know,"

Dante sighed, looking up at the midday sky. "It's dangerous for a lady go out the dark with someone like Leo, I'll come with you."

"Who do you think I am?!" Leo released an outburst of anger, "I'm not a pervert, you idiot! Seriously, even though you're my childhood friend?!"

"You guys are childhood friends?" Marinette asked, butting in.

"Yeah. Dante, Réne and I were pretty much very close since we were little kids. But when we grew up, we parted ways. Although, it's a nice thing for them to be a member of the current council."

"Haha, you've been punching me in the face since we were kids, it's how we bond though." Dante chuckled.

"What kind of a bond is that?!" Marinette freaked.

"Leroy always sent me to Russia everytime we meet, I had to walk on my feet or fly with my wings just to get back to France." Dante laughed, "Leila, on the other hand, tied me up in a Sensory Link with a pillow, so everytime she tortures that pillow, she was torturing me."

"Torture?! That's not like Leila at all!" Marinette freaked, he's laughing.. that lonely and devastated guy is actually laughing. She thought, however, I could tell that they really get along though. They're truly the best of friends.

"So you'll really come with us?" Leo queried, referring to Dante.

"Sure. I mean, it's not like I have to go somewhere," Dante retorted.

Adrien woke up in a deserted red-orange world, he layed in a prostrated position. He fluttered his eyes, "huh? I'm in a Mesa biome? Since when did I end up here?"

He recovered and stood erect, he panted and looked up in the mid air sun, putting his hand on his forehead like a visor. "I don't see anything near, but--"

He then spotted a guy sitting on a pillar, fishing something. A guy?! What's he doing here? More importantly, what's he trying to fish? He thought.

"Hey, you. What are you doing here?" The guy asked, "you're not supposed to be here.."

He had messy black hair, gray skin, dark heavy clothes. Some black cat ears and some sharp nails. "Huh? First, who are you?"

The guy turned to him, prompting Adrien's eyes to widened. The guy's eyes were deep shade of gray with black splits, with a grin so mischevious than Chat Noir's. "I'm a part of Plagg, I'm in charge of power. Actually, I am sorta Plagg. 'Cause this was his form before he looked like that stinkin' little rat-like mouse." His voice was raspy, it wasn't like Plagg's at all.

"I still haven't heard your name though,"

"Eh, call me Black Alder." He replied, "I'm just a mere connection of being with your Plagg. I'm obviously the one who gives you the power of destruction, but that Plagg keeps draining his activeness. So I couldn't give you enough time before you time out,"

"Uhm, Alder.. since you're a part of Plagg," Adrien started, "what happened to him?"

Alder shrugged, "just somethin'. That lazy guy never really did anything to make Chat Noir regurgitate all that power in him." He scratched his hair, "and he turned into a black solid ball to protect you from being swallowed here in his mind. But guess that wasn't the right decision," he scolded a glare at him, "now get out of here, you mut. I don't like being bothered by you or your human-kind."

"I can't get even get out of here even if I wanted to!"

Alder sighed in despair and threw him his Chat Noir ring, but it was still black. "Here. Wear it, say claws out and get out." He then sadly mumbled, "Plagg doesn't even want to see you.."

Adrien wore it, but had a solemn look. "I'm not leaving without Plagg,"

"Look, this guy you're talking to is Plagg. He looks a lot like him, but he's not the real him." Alder sighed, "get outta here before I'll let Chat Noir subdue you."

"You're lying. If you're really a part of him, Plagg would never do that. Even though if you are him," Adrien said, "I'm going ahead." He meandered around the biome, but it just felt like the world was spinning.

"According to my calculations, there's no one ahead." Alder said, appearing into every spot Adrien goes near. "You mistook everything about Plagg, boy."

"Hey. Good morning," Alder waved as he sat by a tombstone as daylight and nightlife were flashing constantly, switching places by a blink. "Good evening,"

Adrien suddenly tripped, "oww. What did I just trip?"

"I dunno," Alder shrugged. "I told you, you should leave. Plagg and I don't need you. Go away. It's better to mind someone else's business."

Adrien recovered, "if you're really a part of Plagg, then Plagg can hear and feel your senses, right? Just like you hear and feel his."

"What are you saying, kid?" Alder scowled, his eyes turning in red splits with deep black sclera.

"I'm saying that it is my business to worry about Plagg, I want to know him better, so we can understand each other."

Alder's eyes calmed down, his eyes turned just like Plagg's. Something about this was odd, it seems like Plagg really is inside him. "If I'm a miraculous wielder, then I should at least care for my kwami. Plagg, you're not just a kwami to me, you're my friend. You're something important to me,"

"A-Adrien..?" Alder blinked, but looked away. "Wh-Whatever, you can go."

Adrien took a last stare at him, for a second there, he sounds a lot like Plagg. His voice was the same as his at the moment, he thought and left.

"Aww, would you look at that. He made you happy." Black substances came out of Alder, seperating away from him as he began to fade away, starting to look like a shadow. While the black substances turned into Alder with deep shade of gray with black splits, the usual.

"How pathetic. Don't you think it's pathetic as well, huh, Plagg?" He chortled.

The shadow form of him was Plagg and the one who transformed from substances to Alder was indeed Alder. Since Plagg was a part of him, Plagg could take over him as a shadow. And Alder just swooped out of his possession.

"Adrien's words were good, huh? But don't you see he's just trying to deceive you? Isn't that right, Plagg? You even possessed me for a minute there."

Plagg, who was nothing but a shadow form of Alder frowned, "Alder.. don't do anything to him,"

"Or what? Trap me in a cell for four hundred years? Ha, stupid." Alder rolled his eyes, "anyways. Stop your dumb generosity," he flicked a finger on Plagg's nose. "I mean, what would ya do if he finds out? He'd pry open something if he gets too suspicious,"

"Say, why don't we burn something?" Alder ignited green fire on his fingertips, grinning menacingly. "I'm getting bored of watching that pathetic human,"

"He's not pathetic."

"C'mon, you and I both know how humanity works. They do stupid things that don't even matter. They live, they die, they laugh, they cry, but what exactly is the point of all that? See? Isn't human life meaningless?"

Before Plagg could say a word, himself was fading away. "Aww, time's running out. I wanted to play with you a bit. Guess you have to go back inside that dungeon again, good luck." He faded away without a trace, leaving Alder grinning.

Adrien fell on his knees, "how am I suppose to get myself out of this?"

He looked down at the sand, "it's nothing but dry sand. Gah, I can't think straight!" He gripped on his head, but then calmed down. "That's right.. I have to stay open and positive. I have to think of the posibilities in this situation,"

He then cutted the sand in a form of a square, once he pulled the block out, he saw a torrent of water in it. "I have..no idea how I just did that, but I'll do anything for Plagg's sake."

Leo's stomach grumbled, he sulked. "Nature calls,"

"Seriously, right now?" Dante queried.

"Dante, you know the way. Lead her there, I'll just catch up soon." Leo dashed away.

The trio stopped in front of the same apartment-like building that Réne and Rena reside in. "This is it,"

Just when Dante's about to knock on the door, the door opened by itself. "Who goes there?" He shielded Marinette and prepared to block an attack.

"It's meee~ Reeeennn~" Réne's voice sang and spooked them as usual, "I've got some new glaaassseeesss~~ what do you thiiiinnnk?~~"

"Get out of my sight, Ren." Dante snapped.

A silent occurred, the door bursted open and Réne actually had new glasses, he blinked. "Dante...?"

None other than a blink, he embraced Dante openly. "I've missed you! It's been so long!"

"Dude, it's just been two days since after the meeting. And you've already lost it,"

"I can't help it! I've missed you!!!" He then stopped weeping when he spotted Marinette, "huh? Who's this young lady?"

"Oh, this is.. one of the Twin Hearts, the Aurora Queen." Dante retorted in an impetous manner.

Réne adjusted his glasses and stared at her, "Abi..gail..? Is this how you always looked like?"

Too close! Too close! Marinette thought.

"Stop, she's not Abigail. You're mistakening people again," Dante pushed his head away from her face, "don't be creepy, dude. Haven't you heard of what I said? She's the Aurora Queen of the Twin Hearts, the Wife. Y'know, the Calamity King's wife?"

"Actually, I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng. The Ladybug if you've heard of me," Marinette warmly said.

"Oh, pleasure to meet you, Harmonica Bureau." Réne blunted, unaware of this acquaintance's name.

"That's not my name!"

"I apologize for his actions, Réne can forget people's names, yet he can remember the names of his closest friends." Dante said, and threw him upwards, "we came here to see Renartha, not you."

Réne who was threw at the mid air, smirked. "Oooo, scary! The Azure Dragon truly doesn't show mercy." Strings came out of the building and formed a violin-like string linked between a street lamp and his house.

"Perhaps I should just give in," he chortled. "But where's the fun in that?"

He had the strings tied up in each finger and snickered, "let's see who's really the strongest of us all!"

He created violin-strings below his feet and stepped on them, emitting a flash and creating sounds waves. Upon pouncing at Dante, who sighed and took a chance to gladly caught his fist.

Dante paralyzed him by saying words such as, "I'd erase a few of your memories now, so don't even bother being this cocky again."

"What?"

Blue aura surrounded Dante and spiritual dragons spiked out from the ground to collide Réne, pouncing him again as he flown on the air. "Oww,"

"Let's go," Dante and Marinette went in the building, to see Rena.

"I told you people to stop lingering around my house, especially without permission!" Rena stood erect from the staircases.

"Yo, Rena. Someone's here to see you!" Réne said, coming in, fixing himself.

"I know." Renartha came downstairs, "tch, first it was the male Twin Heart and now the feminine one? What is this? A chase of love?"

Marinette blushed. "N-No. I just-- I, uh--"

"She had some sort of vision of Chat Noir asking for her help and it really bothered her, we came by to see if he's doing fine.."

"Yeah, uhh, how should I explain this, er.." Réne stirred his beaker playfully and awkwardly emitting sounds.

"There's nothing to worry about, Marinette Dupain-Cheng." Renartha spoke.

"Uhm, who are you again?"

"I'm Renartha Aurea Rousseau, White Swan of the Guardian Council. I'm an antique dealer who goes around the world and explore, I'm actually an American citizen myself. I was born in America and this string-wab here is my brother, who was born in France." She pointed at Réne, who just laughed and gone with it. "Our parents seperated ways."

"Uhm, uhh. I, er--"

"Please take care of me, Marie!" Rena pulled out a rag doll in front of Marinette's face.

"Huh?"

"What? No, she's not your enemy!" She literally talked to a doll, "huh? Are youngsters this weird this days, Sophie? Why, no! Ahaha hahaha!"

Another weird person. Marinette thought.

Rena's eyes suddenly shot open, she gasped. "Don't stare at my dear Sophie with such lewd eyes! She's a doll, you perv!"

"I'm a girl! How am I supposed to be a pervert?!" Marinette ragged.

Dante the said, "Rena's frankly a responsible and violent person, but behind that expression. Regardless, she dost have soft spots for dolls and animals,"

"I do not!" Rena screamed, but after she swiveled, she caressed her doll's hair. "I didn't mean it that way, Sophie.."

Why are the guardians so weird? Marinette sulked.

"Guys, sorry I'm late.." Leo appeared from the door, panting. He jolted his head up to see Réne, he scowled at him. "Réne, you idiot. What are you doing here?"

"Aww, the youngest one of us childhood friends still remembers me? Touché, I've once forgotten your name." Réne took off his broken glasses, "yo, Dante! You owe me some glasses. You broke my glasses again, even though I just bought them."

"Don't speak so carefree to me, especially when Leo's around." Dante bluntly said.

"Huuuuhh? Are you afraid of Leo as well?" Réne said in an annoying tone, "no, it is Leo who's afraid of you. Just like everyone else, right?"

Is this guy.. bad terms with Dante and Leo? Marinette thought. Whoa, the Guardian Council goes have quite a history.

Dante frowned, "how foolish. Don't treat me like you're my mentor or something. If you were enough to make me angry just like last time, I won't be stopping so easily then."

"Riiiight, the Azure Dragon of the Guardian Council. Tch, not very azure-y to me."

"Leave 'im alone, you fool." Leo interrupted, "you can't make Dante mad. Even if you used to be someone close to him, you can't do that."

Leo and Réne pounced at each other by a blast, "you know, this is the first fight that I'll never have fun with!" Leo ragged, with his rings glowing.

"Oh yeah? Me neither!" Réne raised both of his hands, violin-strings appeared as a spiritual bowfrog appeared as well, he pressed the bow against the strings as musical symbols appeared from it.

"I'd hate to hear such tone of music, yet your forte just sounds too irritating than loathing!"

"Thou shalt not fret, thus this is an exciting battle for me!" Réne exclaimed, spawning another bowfrog as he pressed the strings more.

More symbols appeared, "why you--"

"SHUT UP, YOU DEMONS!" Rena butted in, tromping her foot on the floor, emitting a vibrational sound wave.

This prompted the two to pounce away, Leo crashed against a wall, while Réne was saved by his strings. "Such a party pooper! A killjoy!" He drapped his back against the strings, "why? Does this annoy you too?"

"Yes, it does."

"Why?"

"Because.." Rena jolted her hand up, posing. "..I'm an angel,"

Marinette stared at her in the strangest way while Réne stifled a laugh, "makes me laugh everytime!"

Rena gave her brother a glare before spawning a spiritual grand piano, then began playing a song. Marinette began shivering in cold and tears started to fall down her cheek for some reason.

Réne's eyes wided and lost control, his strings broke in a snap and he fell down the floor.

W-What is this? Marinette thought as she saw the visions of her parents, her joy with them as a child. Mom.. dad.. I've missed you.

She then shook her head and wiped her tears, "what is this? Is she making us see our memories?"

She raked at Leo, "huh?"

Leo was crying as he knelt on fours, he ran his fingers through his hair firmly. "Agh, m-mom.. why? Shit. This isn't a good memory for me.."

Marinette raked at Dante, she gasped. "Dante!"

Dante's eyes were flashing, while his sclera was sprawling within the color of deep black. He was trembling, looking down while mists were appearing.

"Why..? Yudelle.. dammit, why.. why do you have to.." Réne was crying too, he gritted his teeth. "This is.." he stood up, rushing towards his sister, "...the only part that I don't like about Rena's piano!"

Rena kicked her stool away as she sat up, "THEN GIVE ME YOUR BEST SHOT, BASTARD!"

Both of them launched together, but that's when Master Fu butted in, bursting from the door. "Serpent, Stop them!"

Stop theemm?? Marinette thought. Who'd be powerful enough to stop those too?!

Lyra came in, bonking both of the twins' heads to one another. The twins fell their butts on the ground, "oww, geez. Seriously?! Even though I used to be your mentor?!" Réne weeped, scraping his injury.

"Lyraaa~ how could you..? I thought we were friends?" Rena said, with her soul coming out of her mouth.

"Geez, you guys always fight. It's not right." Lyra huffed, "I don't think this is right!"

She walked up to Dante, who was still in a bad condition. She gasped, "Dante.."

She helped him recover, but Dante said no words. His eyes were still deep black, he never blinks now. He trembled, what he saw really haunted him.

"My, my. Now look what you've done to the place," Fu said, poking a broken wall with his cane. "It's all..filled with rubble. Enough of this ruckus you're commiting! I want you two back at the council! Now!!"

"Y-Yes, sir!!" The siblings dashed away in a blink.

Marinette still couldn't understand the situation, are they used to be treated like that?

Lyra then dragged Marinette to the laboratory, where Adrien rested. "Stay here!"

"What?" Marinette fell on her knees after being thrown in there, she looked up to see Adrien sleeping.

She scampered away from him as she squeaked, "A-Adrien..?" She blinked, "he doesn't seem like he's in trouble, but.."

She touched his forehead, but ended up releasing a green wave and pushing her further away from him. "Oww, what just happened? It's like..there's some kind of forcefield,"

Adrien, who then fell inside a room of mists, looked around his environment. Spotting nothing but mists, Adrien sighed. "I've been looking in this place for hours and I can't seem to find Plagg."

He stood up and meandered forward, "everything is so dark and cold. Is this really Plagg's mind? I was hoping it would be a bit more.. cheesy,"

He then incidentally walked up to Alder, "hmm, you still haven't found anything? How sad. People occasionally linger around here, since this is just an empty mind." He smirked deviously, "you should quit."

"I told you, I'm not quiting!" Adrien snapped, "are you really a part of Plagg?! The way how Plagg says this are always the words 'I'm hungry' or 'I'm too lazy', yet you just sound rude!"

"Of course, I'm an aspect of Plagg." Alder pointed to himself, "just who do you think you are, boy, to know Plagg? I've been with him for thousands of years. So I act malicious and I get carried away with it, but does that really matter?"

"Look at you, all lost and pathetic. I bet you're not aware of the posibilities of what might happen if you stay here for too long." Alder said, "wanna know?"

"What happens?"

"Tch, so desperate. I hate it." Alder sighed, "you turn into a cat and then eventually get weak aaaaannd die."

"Eeh?" Adrien twitched an eye, "why didn't that psycho warn me something so important?!"

Ahaha! Ren's voice echoed inside of his head for some reason. "I told you, you have to leave. This isn't a place fitted for you," Alder said, "how many times do I have to--"

"I know you want me to leave! I know Plagg doesn't want to see me but that doesn't mean that I just have to give up!" Adrien snapped, "Plagg is my friend! I'll do anything for him if he gets troubled!"

Alder sighed, "anything, huh?" He perked his head down as he looked at the floor impassively, "you really sound like him."

"Who?"

"Anyways, just shut up." Alder raised his head up, "sit down and relax." A black chair with a cat-themed backrest appeared behind Adrien as he was forced to seat down. "Plagg would interfere in this type of occasion, but your words of hope just piss me off. So be prepared.. it begins.."

"Eh? Eh? What are you talking about? Explain things first--"

Suddenly, he was standing on a tramway. "Let's go back a thousand years ago.. in London." Alder's voice echoed inside his mind, he didn't knew where it came from, but he knew something was up.

Glitching scenes of a dead Chat Noir, with blood spouting out of his mouth laid death on the street floor.

A Ladybug ran into him and cried, "Felix.. why..? Alder and Plagg promised me that you would live!"

Another scene glitched as it shown a blonde boy with lime green eyes sat on his bed. He stared at the Chat Noir ring deeply, "Plagg.. what exactly is this power? Why am I the one who's supposed to kill her?"

Plagg peeped behind his former holder's shoulder, "you're the Chat Noir, Felix. It's your duty. Whether if she's your partner or not. Kill her and fulfill your ancestor's promise. Ladybug is far too powerful to live."

Another glitch ran up, revealing the former holder talking to a girl with purple eyes and blonde hair. She looked slightly like Abigail but had a side-braid as her hairstyle. She glared at Felix, the former Chat Noir. "If you're asking me, you shouldn't do such a thing. She's Bridgette. My friend, my companion. Even if she's supposedly a Twin Hearts, you still have to tolerate things."

She folded her arms as a kwami with curly linings and yellow skin climbed up to her shoulder. "Bridgette becoming evil is a lie. She's different. She's Ladybug, the Twin Hearts' Aurora Queen and you're the Twin Hearts' Calamity King, Felix. You're yin and she's yang. Both of you are the chosen ones 'cause you both form as one to give birth to the Savior. Think twice."

She walked away as Plagg popped out of Felix's shoulder, "Felix, you could--"

"No, I have to. I have to kill her." Another brief glitch showed up, ruminating another memory. "I-Is this even right..?" Felix pulled out a dagger as he slowly took small and quiet steps near to Bridgette, the former Ladybug. He raised it up as Bridgette abruptly turned her heel, making Felix hid his weapon.

Luckily, Bridgette didn't see it. "Felix..? I didn't see you there." She smiled sweetly, "so what do you want to eat for lunch? Croquette or Croissants?"

Felix perked his head down as his eyes were covered by his hair, with his weapon shakingly holding from behind his lower back. His Ladybug noticed, she tilted her head out of curiousity and concern. "Felix, are you alright?"

"I-I'm fine. It's nothing, really." Another glitch emitted, the setting was in a school hall. It was empty, but all Adrien xould see was a Bridgette crying, with cold wet tears running down her cheek.

"You..wanted to kill me?" She said in a faint voice, as she stared at Felix with sad eyes.

"Bridgette, I--"

"No! Don't take any steps near me!" And there's when it finally happened, Felix was abruptly strangling Bridgette's neck. She ran her fingers on his as she let out faint gasps, "F-Felix, why..?"

Felix then let go, he turned his back. Shivering out of regret as he stuttered, "B-Bridgette.. stay away from me. In fact, we shouldn't see each other.. I'm hurting you.."

Bridgette's eyes widen, "F--" in a flash, Felix was gone. The scene morphed into where Ladybug and Chat Noir faught another Hawkmoth. Felix, as Chat Noir took Hawkmoth's shot for Bridgette. Ladybug gasped, "F-Felix, why did you--"

"I wanted to protect you.." Felix said as he gushed out blood from his mouth, "I want to make you happy. Live your life with happiness.. farewell, Bridgette." He weakly said before crashed to the ground. A brief green flash glinted all over his body as he transformed back to Felix. All he could hear was Bridgette's christening and her cries. Nothing more 'till he blacked out, disappearing to the world what we call "Reality".

After a blink, Adrien was back to his kwami's mind. Alder, Plagg's inner power sheered over to him couple of seats away. Just then, Adrien realized they were dwelled in a illusionary theater where the curtains closed the giant screen which ruminated the holder and Plagg's memories.

"You see now, boy?" Alder spoke up, resting both of his legs on his chair's armrests. "You should leave Plagg alone right after you saw that." Adrien then chuckled, prompting Alder to flatten his eyebrows in confusion. "The damn hell, why are you laughing?"

"Just how many times do you have to ask me that question?" Adrien's expression then flashed serious, "I'm never going to give up. No matter how many times I fail or fall!"

"Tch, I can't stand the balance between bravery and stupidity." Alder rested his heel on his cheek as he tromped his foot on the floor, emitting a thud. Upon everything reverting back to the way it was before, Alder was shown in front of Adrien, shoving his hands on his pockets.

"Listen kid, you're the most terrible miraculous holder I've ever seen." He then rumpled a grin, showing his jagged teeth. "But you know what? I take it back. You're even a lot terrible. In fact, you're the worst." He reached out a hand, "'till we meet again?"

Adrien chuckled a bit as he accepted it, shaking hands with him. "Okay, I can't really tell whether if that's an insult or joke, but I'm gonna count it as a compliment."

Right after Alder pulled his hand, he smiled confidently. "I'll treat you like family like I'm supposedly doing," he chuckled a bit as his eyes fell. "But, please know that.." though, he was still smiling, but then that smile soured as his eyes honed at Adrien. "...I despise you, Adrien Agreste."

"Huh?" These were his last words before darkness began to consume them once more.

Well, that's enough. For the next chapter, I'll swear to put more Adrienette. Somethings just have to be taken by action and sequences.
