Part Six: Mansion Day
Hello! Abigail, here! This is it! The new Adrienette chapter! I hope you guys like it, enjoy!
"G-Guys! When-When you said 'house', I never thought you'd mean a mansion!" Marinette freaked as she caused a rampage inside a limousine, it was already afternoon.
"Gosh, relax.." Adrien rolled his eyes as he rested a cheek on his palm, "I've seen stuff like this everyday, my mansion and our school have probably..the same size,"
They stopped by in front of a large entrance door, they were ten times taller than the Agreste Mansion's. "Okay..this was not what I in mind," Adrien said, hopping out of the car, followed by Marinette.
"Had in mind? You were expecting something smaller?"
"No, it's just-- I thought my father's mansion was a lot bigger," Adrien folded his arms.
Marinette rolled her eyes, "so this is..Roy's family's mansion?"
"Oui. The twelveth, as a matter of fact.." the butler from the limo said, hopping out of the vehicle as it soon dashed away with the driver. "Sir Leroy Pierre's family has lots of mansions in store. There are merely twenty mansions, each parent in the Pierre family are rich and they all have mansions. This mansion belongs to Sir Leroy's parents. Unfortunately, after he escaped to America, his mother had passed away and his relatives were the ones who took care of this. Young Master lives in another mansion and this mansion belongs to Jude Pierre, a well-known CEO of a well-known corporation!"
"You seem proud." Marinette said in a dull manner.
"Uhh, uhh-- as a servant! I must respect my master's achievements and history!" The butler saluted, in front of the household and not to the duo.
Adrien also dully stated, "who are you saluting at?"
Abigail sighed, who was standing by on a window of the mansion, subtly watching over the three. "The Twin Hearts have not long before they terrorize each other.." She headed to the bathroom, taking off her over-shirt and boots.
She stared at the mirror, "this deal thing really was a blunder.. how could the council approve of this foolishness?"
She walked up to the bathtub and opened its curtains, there before her eyes was an orange-haired guy, this young man was wearing the same outfit earlier back a few months ago where he recently visited the grave of his maternal mother. (From the earlier chapter, he made an appearance on Amalthea (his mom)'s grave. Just saying if other people haven't read that chapter.)
Leo was the Nocturnal Lion of the Guardian Council.. Although, he was sleeping on the bathtub peacefully.
Abigail screamed in fear, "LEO?!?"
Leo fluttered his eyes, adjusting his azure-tinted sunglasses and looked up at Abigail. "'Sup, Gorgeous? Miss me?"
Abigail slapped him with her sling bag, "Leo, you perv!!"
"Welcome, Twin Hearts." Leila said, in front of the duo. "It is a pleasure to meet you.."
She is portrayed with wonderfully long and curly glossy-pink hair and hazel eyes, the latter of which are purposefully shown to have narrow, slit pupils.
She wears a dark purple headband with black lace trimming. Each side of the headband ends with a dark purple bow; the headband also sports a rosette on top. A black neckband adorned with golden feathers is tied around her neck.
And her dress is black and dark purple. It has a matching rosette brooch just like the one on the headband. The top part of the dress also has black lace trimming and features black ruffles trimming. The sleeves of the dress are puffy on each of the shoulders, while on the arms they fit the first half - the lower arms feature three-layered black ruffles. The skirt is dark purple with ruffles trimming, layered with black rosette pieces. The two front layers feature white inverted crosses. Between these two layers is a criss-crossed ribbon.
"This is Leila," Leroy dubbed. "Guardian Council's Celestial Virgo."
"Forsooth, I'm the Scarlet Wren." Leila corrected, "well..? Aren't you going to tell them something else, Rony?"
Leroy sheepishly sighed and rubbed his nape, "yeah.. she's my--"
"LEO!!" Abigail's voice blared as Leo crashed out of the bathroom's wall, commiting a scene with spalls from the walls to fall down as if it exploded itself.
Leo got to his feet unscathed, seems like he dodged Abigail's destruction of power thoroughly. He patted the smithereens from the fallen walls off the elegant business suit's jacket he wore.
"Who's that?" Adrien asked.
"Uhm, uhh.." Leroy rubbed his nape.
"Heh, you've grown quite strong, Gorgeous." Leo's sunglasses glinted as he smirked. Abigail walked out of the broken hole with large abundant of spalls laying on the ground.
She then growled, "you'll see that I'm not just a pretty face! Iron fists, commence!" Her eyes flashed gleamy blue as she launched straight to Leo, constantly punching him, but he seemed to dodge it perfectly.
"Don't bother trying to attack, I can hear your movements. Your heartbeat, your thoughts and your mind!" Leo chuckled, "although, I'd love to see you try."
The rings from Leo's fists glinted bright as it made his balled fists glow, "ready for round two, Beautiful?" He punched her cheek and kicked her on her torso, making Abigail pounce away.
"Are these two..fighting?" Marinette raised a brow and had no clue.
"Uhm, more like sparing." Leroy retorted.
"They seem like enemies and I know I've seen that guy before," Marinette said, "who is he..?"
Adrien sulked, "am I the only one who notices that he's calling my sister 'Beautiful' and 'Gorgeous'?"
"They look like an empathetic couple. Are these two dating?" Marinette queried, "Abigail looks like that guy cheated on her though.."
"Yeah, about that.." Leroy nervously spoke up, "I--"
"Well, had enough?" Leo smirked.
Abigail recovered, with her skirt faded gray because of the mess they were both making. "I'm just getting started!"
They both launch to each other like idiots 'till Leila jumped in that is and twisted their ears. "Oh, you two. You guys look like a couple of hatred. But seriously, Abigail? In front of your boyfriend?"
"Boyfriend?!" Adrien freaked.
"Oooo, she finally had one!" Marinette teased with a smug face.
"WHAT'D YA SAY?!" Abigail bellowed.
"Boy..friend?" Adrien was sulking.
"He's not my boyfriend, you Doe!" Abigail slammed her sling bag at Leo's scalp again.
"Hey, what was that for?!" Leo whined, "isn't Leila the one who said that?! Hit her!"
"What'd ya say?" Leila had a murderous aura, "what I meant by boyfriend, I meant Leroy. You two are dating, right?"
"Yeah, well, that's what Roy said years ago." Leo slammed his sister's eartwist away from his ear.
"You..what?!"
"Yeah, hehe. I just said that to skip that arranged marriage offer thing, hehe." Leroy twiddled his fingers.
"This guy is very foolish," Abigail facepalmed.
"Yo, Abigail. Since you're not dating Roy, how's about you date me instead?" Leo smirked.
"You flirt!" Abigail ragged.
"Hey, Hey! You know I was kidding!"
Abigail and Leo exchanged stares to one another, different stares that is. Abigail is glaring and balling her fists tightly, while Leo is smirking and folding his arm confidently. "So is this guy's another one of Abigail's admirers?" Adrien cleared his throat.
"Right," he lengthened that word out of regret, "I never got a chance to tell you guys my name.." Leo glanced away from Abigail and walked up to him, he pulled out a hand. "Leo, Leo Faustus Pierre, the Celestial Lion of the Guardian Council. Thanks for taking care of my little brother." He smiled kindly. "He sure is very stubborn and naive sometimes! Kinda worried about his behavior around others!"
"Since when do I need to be taken care of?!" Leroy ragged, "I can talk care myself!"
Marinette and Adrien's eyes stiffened, they both turned pale or transparent. "L-L-L-L-Leroy's big brother?!" The two of them glanced at the Pierre brothers from one another, Leroy's black hair was totally far from Leo's orange hair. Their eyes were the same, but their personalities were quite different. Leroy had an cold and offbeat face while Leo had an calm and happy smile.
"So different!"
"Guys, I know you're shock and all, but it's not that much of a surprising sensation." Leroy stated, "Leo and I both have the same parents and lives. He just had the hair from the father side."
Leo punched him on the face, making him bounce upwards. "Oww! What'd ya do that for?"
"Heh, why don't you think about what you're saying about comparing me to pops?" He shoved his hands on his pockets, looking away and cringing in a sudden offbeat of anger, sadness and devastation.
"Hello..? Am I not here?" Leila agitated.
"Oh, yeah. Leila's the youngest of us all."
"What?!" Leila's pink hair was really really different. "How come?!"
"We have..relatives that have different types of hair colors." Leila said, "it's not that our father cheated and all that. Our mother's big sister's hair color was pink, so I might have inherited that from her. My full name is Leila Meredy Pierre,"
Adrienette began turning paler and paler out of confusion, "we are so confused.."
Leila swung her hand at the duo, pink light flashed and they received weird gleamy pinkish matching tatoo-like prints around their wrists. "W-What is this?" Marinette tried to remove it, but it didn't quite worked.
"Sensory Link, it's a power of mine that I use to specify the thoughts and intentions of villains. But since it is my duty to protect and make the Twin Hearts close to one another, I intend to use it to you." Leila depicted. "Therefore, the thoughts you've made up in your mind, the feelings that you repress, the pain that you felt, the words that you express..will reflect to one another's emotions. From now on, you two will feel each other's emotions and hear each other's thoughts."
Adrien is shocked as Marinette blushed, but Adrien also blushed and Marinette reflected Adrien's ardent emotions. "Wh-what is this feeling?! Why do I feel so light-headed?" Adrien gripped on his hair, his face was all red. "Is this how you always feel?!"
"Not always!"
"Dude, obviously, you're blushing." Leroy said.
"Hundred percent positive!" Leo smirked, "you two really are in love! Haha!"
Both of them turned all red, not because of blushing, but in anger. "ABIGAIL, I THINK WE'RE GETTING THE SAME SIDE OF WHERE YOU'RE WITH HIM!" They simultaneously yelled.
"Now, Now.. hehe, calm down." Leila blocked the way, protecting the oldest brother.
"Hey Roy, show these two where they're staying, alright?" Leo gave a decent and cold glare at his brother.
Roy rolled his eyes, "fine.." he lengthened that word, "come on, you two. Let's go!"
Leo watched them leave in an angered condition, Leila clamped a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, dispel that anger away. You don't wanna be akumatized, alright?"
"I know, don't tell me what to do." He coldy slapped her hand away and walked to the garden.
"Guess we should follow him," Abigail implied and Leila responsed by a nod, during their walk towards the garden, they've had a conversation. "What's wrong with Leo? Wasn't he always the ecstatic and flirtatious type?"
Leo shoved his hands on his pockets, oblivious about Leila and Abigail's conversation. He was ruminating too deeply about the atrocities of his past.
"Oh yeah, I never got a chance to explain." Leila's eyes fell, "Leo and Leroy don't get along anymore after our mother died.."
Abigail instilled a despondent sigh, "mothers really are important to us daughters and sons."
"Of course they are, mothers look after their kids, they care for them, they love them. Without the mother, the family would live sorrowfully. Our mother was the only thing that made us all happy, father didn't had time for us because of work. He was oblivious of the feelings that us siblings share, the pain that we suffered. I don't think he even cares for us."
"Leroy just doesn't want to talk about it. He just shakes it off as if it was just nothing, he says it's a blunder and what's the use of thinking about a person who's dead already. That's what he said," Leila sighed, "brother Leo really didn't like that statement. For his entire life, he had left nothing but sadness and pain. Losing our mom really bothered him, he couldn't shook it off. So he decided flirting with you and just joked around to be distracted. But I've recognized his movements, deep inside, he still feels anger and deep sorrow."
"Oh, I've..never thought about your family that way. I'm sorry,"
"There's nothing to be sorry about. You weren't there. Futhermore, we have such a broken family."
They made their way to the garden, having tea in a gazebo. The whole time, Leo stayed quiet. He haven't even drank his tea, so he just stared at it.
Leila cleared her throat, Abigail advertised her attention, but Leo didn't. "So Abigail, I've heard so much about your power of Oraculum. I'm amused by how you handle so much power of Authority, I wonder how you feel.."
Abigail placed her teacup down, "well, at first it was a curse, but then it was a blessing. Kinda helps me control the limit of anger between the Twin Hearts though." She chuckled.
"Do they really fight all the time?" Leila chortled.
"At first, it was annoying. But it turned out funny." Abigail stopped laughing, "hey, Leila. I've been meaning to ask you.. was Fu really serious about taking the deal? You do know that it has to be the prophesized ones or else it's war all over again and more miraculouses will be crushed and slushed."
"He took it seriously, but.." Leila placed her tea down, "he didn't really took it fully."
"What?"
"He secretly told the other guardians that the Twin Hearts really has to give birth to the Savior or the Enlightened One." Leila placed her palms on her laps, sadly bitted her lip and close her eyes shut. "Fu really is accepting the deal, but he's not aware of might happen if the Twin Hearts really do surpass us. They're quite the lovely and remarkable people."
"What are you saying?"
"What I'm meaning to say is that if the Twin Hearts really do surpass us, they'll still have to give birth to the Savior. Whether if they win or not, they'll just have to race a baby."
"Please.. don't tell your brother or his girlfriend about this," Leila said. "Their tendencies are very different, so they'll be obstinately troubled with this."
"This is..horrible."
"By all means necessary, my emotions after hearing the shocking news went from utter disbelief to overwhelming sorrow.." Leila upsetly told her.
Leo sat up, "excuse me, I have to go somewhere." He walked on a long path, all silent.
His kwami, Pest appeared. "You know, if you're gonna struggle with this, you can at least tell your brother how you feel and talk things about, you know, the past."
Leo gritted his teeth, "shut up."
"HUH?!?" The Twin Hearts freaked. "TWIN-SIZED BEDS?!"
"Yup, these are where the Twin Hearts are staying and sleeping." Leroy popped the 'p'. "Remember, it's not just you living here, it's Leila, Leo, Abigail and me."
"Don't forget about me!" Réz popped from his jacket's side pockets, "I would love some chocolate right now!"
Leroy pushed him in his side pocket, "shut up." He rolled his eyes, "anyways, this is a big place to stay, so make yourselves comfortable. The pool and garden's outside, occupied by benches, gazebos, nearby restrooms and stuff. There's a big library, probably there's a secret passage to the Guardian Council, one of the slots that Leila and Leo use. Although, there are quite more."
He walked away, and left. "Try to fit in and try not to break anything,"
Marinette was blushing hard, Adrien reflected that. She tried rubbing the imprinted heart designs away, but nothing worked. Man, how do I remove these things? It's really weird having the same emotions or feelings with Adrien!
She blinked twice and turned to Adrien, who leaned and stared deeply at her. "Don't look at me in the eye. It's weird."
Blushing unintentionally, Adrien's face was the same as Marinette's. Although, he had a numb face. "Your thoughts.. they're very interesting. I wish to know more,"
Marinette twitched an eye and pushed his face away, "would you stop being creepy for once?!"
"Hehe, wait. Are we really sleeping together.. on the same, bed..?" Adrien and Marinette glanced at the pillows behind them then scampered away from one another.
Unfortunately, Adrien fell severely on the edge. He groaned in pain as Marinette did the same, cringing in pain.
"Oww, please watch where you're falling." Marinette winced. "I can feel all your pain."
"Sorry," Adrien climbed back up.
"Okay, how about this?" Marinette began, "how about we split? I'll take my pillow and sleep on the floor."
"What? That's insane. You could get cold and lonely down there."
"Since when do you care?"
Adrien looked away, blushing. Why did I even say that?
"You fool, I can hear your thoughts." Marinette dully expressed.
"I know!"
"Well, can't you let me sleep on the floor?"
"I would want to. Half of me desires that and the other one doesn't."
"I know that, I can feel your feelings," Marinette said.
And the next minute.. "Thanks, Adrien!" Marinette giggled, snuggling through her pillow.
"I don't know whether I should be happy or not, 'cause this Sensory Link's really mimicking your emotions to mine.."
Adrien laid on the floor, resting the back of his head on his palms. Good thing there was a sleeping bag though, if not, he would've had trouble sleeping with the cold.
Marinette giggled more, while Adrien blushed slightly. She paused, feeling the same emotion, "Adrien..? You feel--"
"Morning!" Abigail busted in.
The Twin Hearts screamed in fear, "WHA DA YA MEAN?! IT'S STILL MIDNIGHT!"
"Really?" She glanced at her phone and shamefully sulked, "excuse me, but I'm going to grab a knife from the kitchen and stab Leroy's alarm clock.."
She stormed out of the room, "well, good night, Adrien!" Marinette grinned and slept.
Adrien sat straight and glanced to her, "hey, is she really happy?" Plagg appeared from his jacket.
"Hard to tell, it's mixed with relaxation, honestly, happiness and something else that I couldn't understand.."
Plagg rolled his eyes, "well, let's worry about that later! Hey, what'd ya say we dump in the bed?"
"What? That's crazy!"
"C'mon, as long as she won't know, you guys are safe!"
"Alright.."
He crawled up to the bed, and slept beside Marinette peacefully and reticently.
°•○°•●°•○°•●°•○°
Adrienette layed on bed, covered with a large comforter. Marinette's eyes fluttered, it was morning. She turned to the other side of the bed to welcome Adrien, once she saw him inches away from her face. She yelped in fear, jolting Adrien up and screaming too.
"What is it?!" Leo barged in the room, seeing the rampaged pretence followed by the others.
He heard screaming from under the blanket, he rolled his eyes and pulled the blanket aside to see the duo screaming at each other.
"Would you two quiet down?!" His voice was raising high, but the Twin Hearts' long screaming were louder.
"Guys, what happened?!" Leila runned to them.
Followed by Abigail, "what's with this rampage?!"
"Hey!" Leroy snapped to shut them off but nothing worked.
Everyone in the room began arguing, excluding the Twin Hearts and Leo. The Twin Hearts were screaming at one another constantly over and over again. Leo stayed silent, gaining an outburst of madness in him.
His eyes twitched and turned gleamy yellow-orange, "QUIET DOWN!!" He roared. (Hehe! Roared, get it? 'Cause he's a lion?)
Everyone reflected his eyes as they shut their mouths in a zip, unlike with Abigail's, she can only authorize one or two, but Leo can authorize all in an instant.
His eyes gleaming yellow-orange, "you three stand aside!" The others, excluding the Twin Hearts stood behind the bed's backboard.
"Tch, you all are such a pain." He walked up to the Twin Hearts, adjusting his tie.
He took his glasses off and stared at the duo, "forget what happened and start remembering your duties!"
His eyes reflected them's as they began to eloquently calm down, their eyes closed and they breathed in a relaxed manner. "I want you to calm down and forget this ever happened." After a snap of his fingers, they jolted up and shooked their heads.
"Y-Yeah, We-We're sorry." Marinette hopped off the bed, "I'm gonna take a bath now.."
"You go first. I'll take a bath on the bathing pool later." He sat in a crossed position on the bed, "hey, what was that power you have earlier? I thought Abigail was the only one who can do that."
"You have nothing to know," Leo donned his glasses on and left.
"So what was that all about?" Adrien glanced at the three who were staring at him.
"Leo, as the miraculous holder of the Lion, has the power of command and strength. Leo's power is based on the myth of the Nemean Lion, a beast who was completely impenetrable to blades." Leila depicted, "this..Authority you see in him is his Sun Authority, a power who can control, mind-control and hypnotize limitless people. He has powers of Sun Authority, Strength, Divinity and Empowerment."
"That's a Twelve Guardian, alright." Adrien sighed, "how are we gonna surpass you guys if Leo's way too strong?"
"Too strong? Yeah, you haven't seen all of him yet." Leila grimaced, "he's way stronger than you think he is. Earlier with Abigail and Leo's fight, that's just a warm up to him. He's the third strongest of the Twelve Guardians."
"Who's the second?"
"Dante Moreau." Abigail retorted.
"Dante? You mean that guy who has a lazy voice?"
"Yeah, Dante Moreau is a young man who is formerly a villain."
"A villain? How come a council like the Twelve Guardians would approve on someone so deeply evil?"
"He wasn't always like that," Leila said. "He changed somehow, guess someone opened his heart."
"Who? That boy-addicting girl?"
"What? No. Lyra's deeply in love with Zariffe."
Said Abigail, "it'll be impossible though. Everytime Lyra sees Zariffe and adores him, Dante just stays out of it. He lets her do the things she want. Although, he isn't quite the eloquent person though.
"He never even talked about his opinions with the plans," Leroy said, "he always agrees with everything. He stayed out of the way and just follows the rules."
"Seems like he has changed."
"More than that, actually. He's a total different person now," Leila said, "back then, he used to kill others ruthlessly."
"Why did you guys even trusted him? Shouldn't he be arrested for his crimes?"
"No. We trusted him because...well, it's a long story. I'll tell you someday," Abigail clamped on her brother's shoulder, thus Adrien disappointedly sulked.
With Marinette bathing in a private bathing pool for women (of course.) She held water in her hands, there was a little pinkish rose petal on the middle. And yes, there were petals to purify any stinky smell and alternate it into a beautiful aroma.
She gladly smiled as she stared at it and felt the steam in the air, "I wonder what it feels like how to have a baby, huh? It must be..wonderful-- gah, what am I saying?!"
Well, that's all for today! I'm sorry there wasn't much of an Adrienette scene here. Too much history or pasts about Leo & Leila.
