Part Fiftheen: Don't You Think So?

Heeeyyy! So far, so good, huh? I bet I'd find a way to make them feel more close to one another. I've never experience these relationships thing but I'm just trying my best to make this involved with romance since in the story's genre, romance is included.

Marinette just walked out of class, hurrying up to avoid Nathan's approach or eye contact. "Marie! Marie!" It was already obvious of who it was - Nathan. He grasped on her wrist, making Marinette sharply hone at him.

"What do you want?"

"Look, I'm sorry about what happened yesterday. I didn't really mean it."

Marinette couldn't what he was saying, "didn't really mean it? Does pulling me close to him for a kiss not meaning it?" She tried to yank his grip away but she couldn't, Nathan was still too strong. "Nathan, you're doing it again! Stop that!"

"No, just here me out--"

Someone pulled Marinette away (again) she turned, expecting to see Adrien but it was none other than Jarell. "Now, Now. When a lady says 'stop that' or 'stop it' you have to stop, right?" He spoke in a mild disposition as usual, "that's so ill-mannered of you. Don't you know chivalry?"

"And what does this have to do with you, Pretty Boy? What's a boy with a pretty face like you going to do about it?" Nathan countering back in a sharp monotone to Jarell wasn't the best idea.

Jarell flattened his eyebrows a bit, "what did you say?" Thorns that weren't visible to the naked eye started to sprawl out of the ground, nearly ready to bind Nathan and make him suffocate to death. "My. My. Do adults teach their kids like this? Or is your astute just broken?" Black mists even started to sprawl out, it started to be inhaled by Nathan. The mists came into his body, going to his lungs then to the heart, where the mists were about to pop his heart out.

"Uhm, you don't..have to do this, y'know." Marinette's voice cracked, all weak.

"Haah?" Jarell lost control of his power, making the thorns and mists leave Nathan alone in an instant.

"It's my fault for making him like this. Everything's my fault. People don't have to protect me.. they'll just get involved," tears rolled down Marinette's cheek, she then ran away, sobbing.

Nathan huffed away as Jarell frowned at Marinette's state. "The Aurora Queen's that sensitive? Or is it because she's a woman?" He sighed in defeat and walked away, shoving his hands on his pockets. "Well, I'm just doing these things to make sure the Savior's born. I can't let that redhead kid get away with this," a silver pistol gun slid down his sleeve, "hmm, I wonder how long will it take?"

Adrien saw his beloved pass ahead of him, crying. "Marinette!" He raced up to her, dashing. Marinette hid herself behind a pillar in a fetal position as she sobbed, Adrien kneeled down. "Marie, what's wrong?"

Marinette sobbed then clinged to Adrien, burying her face into his chest and cried. "I just can't take this anymore..! Everyone's being involved with everything! I can't seem to forget what happened yesterday..!"

Adrien sighed, "Marie, you idiot."

Marinette flattened her brows, pulling away. "What's up with that? I thought you were always there for me--"

Adrien snaked her arms around her, "I did. I was just kidding.. you're not an idiot, you're Ladybug. Lady of Luck." He pulled away, wiping her tears with his forefinger. "Now, don't cry. The Lady of Luck shouldn't cry when justice is still strong. After all, your husband's worrying about you.."

Marinette blushed but looked away, she huffed, "h-h-husband? You're still going with that? I-I thought you hated me!"

"I do. But I can't help but protect you." He smiled as Marinette blushed harder, this time, she didn't look away. Instead, she clamped on his shoulders tight.

"T-Thanks, Adrien.." she jerked her head down, welling up her tears still (even though she was all red). "That's enough. You don't have to worry about me."

Adrien smiled, "I have to, you're my Ladybug. You have me and everyone else, you aren't alone."

Marinette jerked her head up, letting more tears fall down. "I-Idiot..! I told you that's enough. But..thanks anyway. Still, I can't be with you right now.." she sat up, wiping her tears. "I'm a nuisance after all." She walked away, in a sad manner.

Adrien watched her flee and didn't bother catching up with her. After all, she does need some time alone. While on Marinette's side, she was indeed still upset, a bit welled up with tears. But she was still blushing, you can't tell of what her feeling really is. Oppression or Love?

Abigail who watched Marinette flee from afar, sighed. "Whatever happened to the Twin Hearts.." She folded her arms as she shooked her head shamefully.

"I know, right?" Lyra peeped out of nowhere, nudging Abigail's arm with an elbow.

"Lyra, what are you doing here?" Abigail avoided eye contact.

"Lyra wanted to see how the Twin Hearts are doing!" Lyra jumped up and down in joy. "Plus, I've brought Sister Rena and Brother Ren with me!"

"I wouldn't call it sister to be exact," Rena said, smoking as she stood aside Réne. "Don't feel so happy just because we're half sisters."

"Now, Now, Rena-Rena. She's our sister, isn't she?" Réne lifted his hat's visor up, revealing his face. "Treat her with respect."

"Like hell, you low-life imbecile." Rena rudely replied between her mouth and the cigarette. "Weren't you mad as well when you found out that Father had another woman?"

"Maybe," Rène looked away from Rena's scary gaze. "Except the fact that I've never forgived him ever since that, though, we still have to treat Lyra like family. Right, Lyra?"

"Mmh-hmm!" Lyra bobbed her head up and down in approval.

Dante folded his arms, "guys, you all know what us Guardians are here for, right? To keep an eye on Jarell, not being in our own world like what Rena and Ren do all the time?"

"Huh? Are you meaning to say that every Guardian's here, Dante?" Abigail queried, shoving her textbook in her sling bag.

"Yes, except..Ara and Zariffe, maybe." Dante mumbled in a low voice, looking up to the ceiling as he steeked his eyes shut. "We're keep an eye out for Jarell and also the Twin Hearts, Jarell might be intending to hunt the Twin Hearts down. You know Jarell's motives."

"Seriously?" Abigail shamefully sulked, "over one person such as Jarell?"

"Well, Jarell is powerful." A new voice breezed in, they turned to see Aracelie sitting on a silver throne with her legs crossed. "It's best to be prepared, we're doing this for the sake of the Twin Hearts."

"Yo, Ara. Where's your partner?" Réne smugly exclaimed, prompting Lyra's eyes to glint in love. "It's taking a lot time for that orange and red eyed fream to come!"

"I already called him," Ara snagged out her phone, resting her chin on a heel. "Call Zariffe Morel Lenoir." She commanded, "Calling Zariffe Morel Lenoir.. Zariffe here, pretty sure this is Aracelie soooo..I'll call you back, Web-Strab!" The voice mail ended with Ara having a irk mark, she gritted her teeth. "I swear, once I see that shrew, he's dead meat!"

"How did he already know that it was you?" Yvonne asked, who stepped by.

"The only person who ever calls him was me. I call him everyday he went missing, whether if he's hanging out with another gang, whether if he's busy eating croissants as always and whether if he's out because of Love's flirting, he never answers. Just what does he even need a phone for if he has that type of demeanor?"

"Did I hear someone call out my name?" Zariffe arrived, drapping his arm on the top of Ara's backrest. "Soo..did you miss me, Aracelie? I bet you did." He winked flirtatiously.

"And there you have it, the true flirtatious one of us Guardians." Rena muttered between her smoking breath.

"Like hell I did."

"Zariffe, did you miss Lyra?" Lyra toppled over Zariffe, with him struggling out of her strong grip.

"Lyra, this is a school!" Zariffe yelled in a vibrant tone, he brisked. "Where are your manners?!"

"Says the guy who doesn't have much etiquette." Ara rolled her eyes in irritation like what Ethane, her big brother does. "Anyways, where are the Twin Hearts? One just passed by, right? Where's the other one?"

"They have personal problems for a while, it's best if we leave them alone." Leo said, peering over Jarell who was frowning over what happened earlier. Jarell caught his eye and changed his expression, waving at Leo like an innocent child he was meant to be. Leo deeply sulked by that. What is wrong with that guy? His expression..changed..?

"That's guy's too diabolical and twisted," Dante murmured, looking away from Jarell's burking gaze. "I'd hate to face someone like him."

"Let's split." Abigail demanded, "act like you're another student from this school. Don't let either the Twin Hearts or Jarell notice you."

"That won't be a problem since I'm already a student," Leroy yawned lazily as he turned a herl. "Leo, Leila, come with me." The two nodded in response and went off with Leroy to class.

Ara sighed, "I heard he's been like that all morning, what's up with him?" She glanced at Abigail who was unfazed, "Abigail, you didn't do anything offending to him, did you?"

Abigail pondered about, "mmh.. not that I remember anything, I don't remember in being rude to anyone lately.."

Yvonne sulked, "are you meaning to say that your straightforwardness was just something nothing to you?"

"Eh, Ara, come with me." Abigail shrugged.

"Sure, whatever." Ara sat up and walked up to Abigail, "beats just sitting around and hanging with this shrew." She referred to Zariffe, who she'd pointed over her shoulder. "Well, ciao!" She climbed up stairs to the library, darting away from her fellow Guardians.

"The library is the only thing she enters," Dante uttered in his usual low voice, "what's up with that?"

"Abigail loves books," Lyra stated. "Let's go, Dante! To the studyhalls!" She grabbed Dante's arm and dragged him upstairs in a rush, while her partner just shooked his head and smiled a bit.

Réne stretched his arms high up in the air, "welp, see ya!" He meandered away, placing his hands on the back of his head. He left his own twin sister alone, although, Rena didn't care about his disappearance at all.

She jutted the cigarette in her mouth out, "Von, Eth, can I come with you?" Yvonne batted her eyes, she examined Rena's face. Her smoking habit's too bad.

If Yvonne inhaled the smoke, it would be bad for the baby since she's planning in lactating and there's no telling if Yvonne and Ethane might have a baby. "W-Well, how should I say this..? Wouldn't it be great if you stop smoking for a while, it's bad for your body." Yvonne timidly implied, scratching her cheek with a finger.

Rena blinked, "eh, sure." She thrown the cigarette over her shoulder, "I'm done with smoking anyway." She joined the married couple, but turned a heel to Zariffe. "Hey Zar, care to join us? I'll go with anyone, just not Rène or Lyra."

"Nah, I'm always the lone-wolf." Zariffe carried Ara's throne and placed it somewhere else where no one can find it. "Aracelie always let me handle other stuffs even though if they're crisises, she's teaching me how to be responsible after all. I don't have any parents or guardians, only my aunt's taking care of me. Still treats me like a child though."

Practically, he's planning to burn the chair. People as offbeat and insane as Zariffe do the craziest things, plus, he thinks burning the furniture would be easy enough since no one can touch or bother it anymore.

"Is that so? Well, is it fine for you?" Yvonne questioned with a worried face of a mother.

"Seriously, you're getting in your mother side again. Don't treat me like you're a matron, woman." And Zariffe did burn the furniture, falling dusts of ashes in the rusty ground, he avoided in stepping on them. Luckily, no one saw that. People are stupid and oblivious about things in a way. "And of course it's fine for me, I'll do anything for Aracelie."

"What? Are you two dating?" Ethane briskly queried, "if you guys are, it doesn't look like it. Ara doesn't seem to love you at all."

"Man, would you think Ara likes me? Giving hundred percent of posibilities, she doesn't like me since all I do is annoy her. Relatively speaking, she'll never shed a tear for me when I die, not ever."

"Same here. Not even if it's 10 000 lightyears would I waste a single tear on you, Zar." Rena blunted as Ethane nodded in approval, Zariffe cocked an eyebrow in confusion.

"Why does everyone hate me so much?"

"Well, if what Ara or Abigail would say.. relatively speaking, something like you're horrible. For god's sake, I can't believe you're still alive. You're annoying, you're frustrating, you're talkative, you lack attention, you're incompetent, you're incredibly stubborn. That's all. Something like that," Rena depicted, it all sounded just like Abigail and Ara's usual words, though, it does kinda sound like Rena's stance.

"Whatever!" Zariffe stormed off, plugging his ears with his headphones. While he wandered somewhere else, the trio watched him walk away.

"You shouldn't have said that. Even Zariffe has feelings too, y'know." Yvonne said, folding her arms as she glared at Rena.

Rena who steerly stared back at Yvonne, she was unaffected by Yvonne's glare or words anyway. "I just thought he'd laugh about it or shrug it out, he's too sensitive now."

"He's not like Ren, he thinks deeply about the world, alright?" Yvonne defended herself and Zariffe. As for Ethane, who stood behind his wife, staring at her normally. "He cares for the Twin Hearts either way.. all of us do! Well, at least, except for you!"

"What?" Rena tromped her foot down, creating piano tiles but this was stopped by a sudden voice.

"Yvonne, Renartha, that's enough." Ethane clamped a hand on his wife's shoulder, "Renartha's been through a lot lately." He glanced at Renartha, still unfazed. "I humbly apologize for the way she acted.."

Yvonne whispered vibrantly to Ethane, "you're on her side? But I was just trying to teach her a lesson--!"

"I'm neither of the sides, now be quiet and accept punishment later." Ethane snapped back between his gritted teeth, "think before you act, really." He curtly brisked at Renartha, before taking his wife's hand and walking away.

Rena rolled her eyes and followed along the couple, they investigated the whole school. Slamming hands on the table's desk and creasing a grin that almost took over his whole face, "now, who wants to learn about Science-y stuff?" The Twin Hearts sulked, while Leroy, who turned and blinked as he sawn Réne. Abigail, coincidentally nearly choked in horror in seeing someone as psychotic as Réne.

"Uhm, this is Physics Class." Chloe stated in an arrogant way as usual, she polished her nails thoroughly.

"Why yes, it is. But Physics' related to Science, 'kay?" Réne stretched his arms in the air, holding his stetson hat as he waved it high up in the air. "Now, what do you like to know?" Abigail raised her hand as her menacing aura was back. Luckily, neither of her classmates seem to notice, only the Twin Hearts and her fellow Guardians. "Why yes, what is it?"

"I'd like to ask of what happened to Ms. Mendeleiev?" She wanted to know about what happened to their Physics teacher of course. Though, Réne wouldn't happen to have killed her, right? Except that's impossible. It's against the rules of the Guardian Council.

A Guardian is as strong as 1000 miraculous holders or more. It is determined that all of the Twelve Guardians members are as strong as Adele Miraculeux and Mizel Divell.

But the guardians are unaware whether if the Twin Hearts are stronger than the Guardian Council or Adele or Mizel. After all, Jarell's parents are alchemists, borned with miraculous powers inherently.

"Hmmm? I'm your new teacher since Ms. Mendeleiev's off to another country, I'm actually a friend of hers." Abigail could 't be sure whether if he was joking or not. But it's gotta be a bluff, right? "She suggested for me to take over her job! So I'm your new Physics teacher from now on! Well, at least for three months that is."

Leroy batted his eyes, he rubbed them constantly. It really is Réne Rousseau, the One and Only annoying Guardian of them all. Wait, did he say 'friend of hers'? Réne barely makes friends. Maybe Ms. Mendeleiev's one of his costumers, no wait, Remartha's costumers.

The Twin Stars sulked, they stayed quiet for the whole minute. Alya poked Marinette's cheek, trying to thrive off attention but it seems like Marinette's soul has already been out of her body. Out of the blue, Adrien was in the same situation like his wife but he fainted, prompting Nino to freak out and tries to wake him out of his misery.

Jarell sighed, pressing his cheek against his palm. "Réne Morel Rousseau, Black Swan of the Guardian Council, eh? That kid sure is reckless for a Guardian." Thus, Abigail trurned in a shock. He knows all of the Guardians even 'till now? "Don't you think so?"

Abigail's eyes glistened in fear, "but I'm sure he's not as reckless as Azure Dragon, right? I mean, the Azure Dragon is the most chaotic and destructive of all Guardians. It's not about his Miraculous or anything, it's about his true self." Jarell stated with the same calm smile on his face that spooked Abigail up.

The only thing scares Abigail besides her father was none other than Jarell. Réne wandered his eyes around the room and evenually spotted Jarell, shit. He's right beside Abigail. Man, I don't want the same situation she's in right about now. He cleared his throat, "now.. shall we begin?"

"Before we begin.. wouldn't you care to give formal introductions?" Jarell interrupted, raising a hand. Dammit. This guy's really playing with me. Ren thought as he peered over to Jarell.

He portrayed his usual childish act, "da name's Réne Jekylland Rousseau! Call me Mr. Ren if you'd like! I don't care!" He flailed his arms up on the air, "now who wants to do lab experiments?! I've done experimenting myself! Just by melting a doll's head that is!"

"Wow, wouldn't it be great if you just teached tommorow and let us bask in class for today?" Abigail implied, making the class turn. Excluding the Twin Hearts and Jarell, 'cause the couple's been fainting a lot while Jarell seems to steek his eyes and looked relax.

"Hmm, let me think about it.. sure!" The class squealed out of excitement, some were jumping around. "W-Wait, you kids can do whatever you want but do it quietly! I'll get caught!"

"Yaphee!!"

"C-Children!"

And that's it for today. It's kinda fun if you had a teacher like Réne, he'll agree with anything you want. Hope you've enjoyed this chapter!
