Part Eleven: Say It

Doesn't the video somehow seem familiar to you?

Marinette stared at unconscious Adrien worriedly, "A-Adrien.. what's happening to you?" She wanted to hold his hand, but something keeps on blocking it.

She felt a warm hand land on her shoulder, she turned to see Leo, kneeling down at her. "Leave him be. He's been through a lot." He shot up as he gripped on his forearm, "however, step aside."

"Huh?" Marinette did so, even though she was very confused at the moment. "What do you mean--" Leo's ring flashed as a beam of golden light sprung out it, scanning Adrien by its orange ray. Marinette just stared in a shock, "what did you just do to him?"

Leo sheered over his ring, "I just scanned his vital signs. He's still alive. However, he's trapped in his kwami's mind." He adjusted his glasses, "this won't be an exception. We have to wait, for now.." he picked Adrien up, clinging his arm across his shoulder. "We'll take him back to the manor since no one's guarding this place anymore."

The mirror then shattered its shards as they tumbled on the floor, revealing Abigail with a cold expression. She pointed her thumb over her shoulder and snapped between her gritted teeth, "get out. We have a meeting back at the council,"

Leo glanced at Adrien, "b-but your brother--"

"I'll take care of things here." She curtly agitated as Leo sighed in defeat, placing Adrien down carefully. Leo went out of the room, as he passed her. Abigail abruptly clamped a hand on his shoulder as they shared honed glares, "don't ever touch my brother ever again. I don't care who you are, Leo."

Leo yanked her grip away and replied brusquely, "tch, neither do I. Just that mouth of yours unless you want to be punched in the face," he stormed off as Abigail rolled her eyes.

She stared down at Marinette with concern, "are you alright? You're not hurt, aren't you? He didn't hurt you, right?" She haunched down to Marinette, who sat idly on the cold and dry floor.

"N-No, of course Leo wouldn't." Marinette curtly responded, "why don't you trust him anyway?"

"It's nothing. Float." Abigail commanded Adrien, he levitated above ground, still unconscious. "Actually, it's more like none of your business." She walked away with Adrien floating and following behind her as Marinette followed them both.

"There.." Abigail placed Adrien down Marinette and Adrien's twin beds. "Marie, watch over him."

"W-What about you?" Marinette queried as she softly brushed Adrien's hair, looking up to Abigail.

Abigail turned her heel, leaving the room while she replied by. "I'm going back at the council. Sweet dreams. Make sure you keep an eye out 'cause no one'll be here. If you want something, request it to the staffs."

Fu sighed as he briefly shutted his eyes, flattening his brows. "I see.." he then opened them wide, bonking the Rousseau twins' noggins. "Idiots, why would you do such a thing?! Especially in front of a Twin Hearts?!"

Réne sheepishly chuckled as he scraped his injury, "ehehe. Now, Now, Old Man, I swore we didn't want anything to happen to the Twin Hearts. The Calamity King just went in first to ask help from us." He was sweating as he saw Fu's baring eyes, but supressed them by laughing sheepishly. "So I gave him what he wanted. That's all!"

"Then what about the fight between you and Celestial Lion?"

"I'm sure you have fair explanations after causing such rampage, Faust." Ethane spoke up, glaring at Leo.

"Tch," Leo covered the side of his face by a palm. "Réne was taunting Dante, so I had to beat Réne up out of it to apologize to him."

"Yeesh, Big Brother. Violence isn't always the answer. There are many resolves even for that." Leila sheered over her older brother, but then glared at Réne. "And you. Damn you, Rousseau. Didn't you know that Dante's full of regrets and misanthropies? He's your childhood friend, treat him with respect more than your self-esteem."

"Yes, yes. Dante has been acting like this for hours," Lyra mumbled, patting her partner's shoulder. Dante stayed silent, gripping on his laps rapidly as he shooked constantly. He emitted low sounds of choking.

"You had to play the piano, huh? Miss Pianist?" Aracelie snapped, sheering over to Renartha who scoffed.

"It was the only way for them to shut up." Rena folded her arms, "plus, I didn't knew it would affect someone like Dante too much."

"A lot happened from his past, some of them may have haunted him." Leroy said, resting his chin on his heels. "Dante still can't get over his regrets, no matter how many times I told him reasons. It didn't really worked,"

Abigail then said, "anyways, the Twin Hearts have already found out about Fu's potential about the deal. They seemed mad about it, but eventually accepted it."

"Yeah, based on my calculations, they seem to like each other just fine." Réne said, drapping his legs on his chair's armrests.

"Based on your calculations, lamebrain?" Renartha crossed her legs as she sat on her throne. Each guardian member from the council has a throne to honor their self-esteems. "Like hell you could do that, are you sure your 'method' of putting the Chat Noir to sleep would fix everything?"

"Yes. I'm positive."

"How?" Renartha had her smug face.

"You'll see.."

Marinette held Adrien's hand tight as she laid herself beside him. She sighed, resting herself against Adrien's chest. "Adrien.. you jerk, what's taking you so long to wake up?" She embraced him, feeling the warmth of his body. She was glad that it was still warm, she didn't like feeling the cold at a time like this. Though, she's relieved to hug someone in a depressed situation.

Tikki then flied out of her holder's pocket as Marinette fell alseep. The Ladybug kwami sheered over to the solid black ball that kept both Plagg and Adrien in. She lunged to it, sitting aside. She leaned her head to the glass ball, "please hurry up, Adrien. Your Marinette awaits you."

Afterwards, Adrien fluttered his eyes. He peered over to Plagg's ball, he was back to normal. Right now sleeping aside Tikki, a crease of a warm smile formed on Adrien's face. He then began to notice such warm hands, he raked down to see his darling wife. He blushed, but eventually held her closer, "I miss you too, Marie." He muttered beneath his breath as he slept with her.

In the morning, Abigail leisurely jolted up from her sleep. She glanced over to Leroy, who was right beside her in their bed. Yes, they both share the same bed. "Tch, I'd hope to receive a lot more privacy. Curse you, Leo. You let me sleep with this sleepy head." She snagged her pillow and constantly slammed it on Leroy's head, "yo, bastard. Wake up, it's seven in the morning. School starts at eight."

Leroy aroused, groaning as he sat up. "Chérie, you knuckle-head. If you're gonna wake me up, do it properly." He stretched as Abigail rolled her eyes and thrown him a bath towel. Fortunately, Leroy caught just right in time.

"Take a shower. You go first," Abigail hopped off their bed and peered up to the way out of the room.

"Before you go, I'll ask you a question." Abigail turned with an uninterested face, "is this how we're going to treat each other still? Treating each other like enemies. Insulting and calling one another improper names, is that how you want things to be? Can't we treat each other more significantly?"

Abigail turned her heel and harshly countered back by saying, "what the heck are you exactly implying? Are you asking me to make a new pace?" She furrowed her brows as she clenched her fists, "Leroy, do you like me?"

Leroy remained silent, his eyes fell as he perked his head down. His hair cloistered his eyes, "forget I said anything." Abigail responded by an unfazed nod and left. Leroy fell on his knees as he hitched his breath, as the drafts of the room began consuming him. "Why..did I say something like that?"

Abigail impassively walked up to Adrien and Marinette's room, she stopped her tracks to ponder about what Leroy said. She turned, flattening her brows. "Treat each more significantly? What's gotten into him?"

Airo popped behind her shoulder, "love goes by strange ways. I'm guessing Leroy wants you to be considerate of him more since behind the past, where you two fell in love with each other."

"That's history," Abigail curted. "Paris is in danger. Let's worry about it more than love, 'kay?"

"Abby, you can't be able to rest anymore if you did that. You shouldn't push yourself," Parru concerned, peeping top from behind.

"I'm fine. As long as I have the will, I can do things." Abigail slammed the doors of the Twin Hearts' room loudly, the kwamis went back down. Abigail's eyes went in a shock once she saw Adrienette embracing one another during their sleep. Thus, her whole face gone red as she grasped the doorknobs back again, shutting the door in a hurry. She rested her back upside the wall as she blushed too red, even more red than Ladybug's outfit. "Just..what are they doing in there?"

Parru flew out of Abigail's pocket, sulking shamefully but supressed it by feigning a sheepish expression. "Now, Now, Abby. Don't think of anything immersing yourself about sexual activities, alright?"

Marinette shot up, stretching. Followed by Adrien, who had his messy Chat Noir hair on, yawning widely. Marinette hopped off the bed, walking up to the closet to grab some clothes. Adrien wore his slippers as he grabbed a bath towel from the drawer, he turned his heel to Marinette, watching her grab her clothes from the closet.

"Adrien, are you taking the shower or bathing pool?" She snagged a bathrobe from the bathroom's hanger.

Adrien then panicked and began to rush up to her, countering back. "Wait, don't! That's not yours, I--" he then tripped, falling on top of Marinette, pushing her to the ground. Their faces were inches closer to one another, Marinette blushed.

She looked away, "A-Adrien.. are you this perverted?"

Adrien was all red, "n-no! Marie, you've got it all wrong!" He panicked, still on top of her. "It was an accident, I--"

"Okay, okay. I'll promise myself whatever I'll see, I won't panic." Abigail mumbled, unaware of the situation Adrienette was in. She came in and turned paler once she saw her dear brother on top of Marinette. She froze, but then stormed to them. She grasped on Adrien's back-collar, dragging him away from Marinette. "Adrei, you scatterbrain! You've got to be shitting me! Us guardians agreed that you two'll be making a baby, but isn't this too early?!"

She pinched Adrien's ear, twisting it. Adrien released screams of pain, "oww! Oww! Oww! Oww! Y-You misunderstood! It was an accident--"

"Like hell I'd believe something as stupid as that! How would you explain restraining a girl in a such a manner?!"

"A-Abigail, it's alright!" Marinette sweatdropped as she watched Abigail strangle Adrien, shaking him rapidly. "You don't have to.. y'know, he didn't really did it in purpose--"

In school, Adrien's soul was piercing out of his mouth as he hopped off the limousine with Marinette. Everyone had curious stares at them, but they didn't mind. Marinette seperated from Adrien, walking up to Alya. Abigail meandered to the Student Council room for any reason.

"No way.. you gotta be kidding me," Alya gaped. "You like..Adrien?!"

Marinette blushed, covering her bestfriend's in an instant. She then whispered to her, "I know. It just happened. I didn't thought it would turn out this way, what if he doesn't like me back?" She reluctantly twiddled her fingers together as her eyes fell, which is obvious that she stopped smothering Alya's mouth.

Alya sighed, clamping her hands on her shoulders, "look, girl. I don't understand what happened here, but I'm not sure about him reciprocating you back. I mean, both of you have hated each other for like..months!" She folded her arms, remarking. "Not sure if it'll work out. Like..you liking him, but he doesn't like you back..? That's like..awkward."

Marinette groaned in despair. She gripped on her head as she groaned, "I know.. there's an forbidden love or impossible love here..!"

"Well, it wouldn't be an forbidden love or impossible love if you guys were arranged to be married or destined to love each other in a way." Alya remarked, tapping her chin. Prompting Marinette to squeak in fright, sweating badly. Does she know? "Nah, that's impossible!" Oh, she shrugged the idea away. Marinette calmed down, letting out a sigh of relief. I'm saved. "But what do you want to tell him then?"

Marinette bit her lip and said, blushing. "Something like..'I want you to have your eyes only for me'..? Isn't that a bit too awkward?" She covered her face with her palms in regret as she grimaced, "ugh, there's no way I could say it out loud! There's no way!"

Alya batted her eyes in shock, "Adrien won't be choosing a girl like Chloe or Lila, 'kay? You don't have to be upset about it,"

"Guess so.."

"Dude, you alright?" Leroy questioned, crooking down to Adrien. Plucking an earphone of out of his ear as he peered down at Adrien.

Just then, Adrien noticed that Leroy was about a meter taller than him. He sweatdropped, but ignored that fact. "I.. I.. Abigail strangled me.." a streak of smoke (his soul) popped out of his mouth, but Leroy closed his mouth due to noticing that.

"Oh yeah, Abigail.. she's been in a bad mood lately, huh?" Leroy rubbed his nape as he placed a hand on his hip, "she has an inner soul of a leopard and an outer appearance of a deity. She has a demon's voice pierced in her throat that can't go away, if you could tear off her mask and make her expose her true face, then maybe you can figure out the motives and feelings she truly has. But She'll kill you before you could do something like that! Abigail is a craze misanthrope!"

"Yeah, the third scariest of all guardians!" Leo peeped aside Leroy, drapping his arm on his shoulder. He seemed to be back to normal even though what happened yesterday. "The first one could possibly be Dante or Ara! Wait, no, I take it back. Fu's scarier!"

"L-Leo?!" Adrien freaked.

"Greetings to all highschool girls out watching, here I am! Leo Faustus Pierre, first born of the Pierre Family--" Leroy clasped his older brother's mouth tightly.

He then snapped, whispering on the corner of his brother's ear. "You better shut your mouth! No one needs to find out that I'm a psycho's brother!" Leo smirked, slamming his brother's hand away from his mouth. "I can't tell if I'm really younger than you or not. You're rather childish than serious!"

"Actually, behind Leo's childish trait, I've seen cruelty and cunningness, it shows that he's a calculating individual. At least he's mature, right? Bit so.." Adrien sulked in the corner as he watched both dwelling in their own world.

"See? He approved," Leo sloped his back down to Leroy, shoving his hands on his pockets. Prompting Leroy to grab him by collar. "Now, Now, isn't that a bit too harsh? I'm your brother, aren't I? You wouldn't hurt me, would ya?"

"I don't care whether you're a relative or not as long as I get to punch your face."

"G-Guys, this is a school! You could get in detention!" Adrien freaked, flailing his arms around.

"Nah, I wouldn't worry about that." Leo chuckled, shrugging. "I'm not even from this school anyway. Who cares if I'm still mulling around.." Leroy tightened his grip more, as he pulled him closer to his pair of blaring eyes.

"Why are you here anyway?"

"School's suspended, for some odd reason. I guess." Leo shrugged, taking Leroy's hands off his collar. "So, how're you, Adrien?" He sheered over at Adrien, feiging his kind smile again.

"I'm fine." Adrien brusquely replied.

Leo chuckled a bit, "what's with that brusque reply all of the sudden? Do you hate me too just like Roy and Abby there?"

"No, I just don't trust you." Adrien glared at him, but Leo tilted his head out of bluffing confusion. "How could a guardian be so violent?"

"I get that you don't like violence, but this is war. A war of good and evil, shouldn't violence be included? Words can't fix things just like that, alright?" Leo sheered over to Marinette who stared at Adrien, "say.. why don't you just tell her already?"

"Tell her what?"

"Tell her that you love her," Adrien blushed and looked away, prompting the guardian to chuckle sarcastically. "Your timidity..is very stupid! Why don't ya tell her already? Out there, you seem pathetic in doing somethin' like that. Just tell her before it's too late."

"It won't be too late," Leroy furrowed his brows as he watched Marinette. He's not mad at her, he's mad at Leo. But he can't holding back the anger. "The bestowed couple must fulfill the prophecy or everything you care about will fall apart. At least that's what the prophecy says,"

"I'm sensing somethin' ominous coming," Leo placed his arms crossed on the back of his head. "Perhaps someone will really unleash something atrocious enough to make the true war of Miraculouses rise again once more. Hundreds of miraculers or miraculouses were destroyed during the earlier war."

Leroy yawned, purposely pushing Adrien to Marinette. Though, he assumed this was fake. "Tell her already," he muttered between the yawn and his words. Adrien bumped right into Marinette, he bumped right into her face. Their faces were inches away.

Marinette blushed as she subtly held onto his forearms, "A-Adrien? What's the matter?"

"Ma-Marinette. Th-There's something I have to tell you," Adrien blushed hard as Alya peered at him with discern eyes, then finally got what he was planning.

She slithered a grin, "uhm, you know what? I'm going back to class now. Have fun!" She scampered away, earning a thumbs-up from Leroy and Leo.

"You think it'll work out well?" Leroy queried as he stood aside his brother. He folded his arms, shutting his eyes as he avoided in making eye-contact with him. "Saying such a word isn't much as easy as you think. Well, at least for you, it's easy."

"Nah, I can't even get to say I love you to Leila, and she's our sister. That should be much more easier, right?" Leo drapped his arm across Leroy's shoulder, but Leroy placed a repulsion field around him right after his watch flashed. This prevented Leo from getting anywhere near him, "huuh? You don't like your brother embracing you or something? You and Abigail have a tough relationship though. You guys can't seem to get along even though you both intertwine the same cold room. Yet you want to wind up this requited pain."

"There's nothing going on between us," Leroy released a ripple of force, but Leo kept his feet on ground instead of being pushed. "Stop hoping. And stop teasing, you're only teasing me because you can't play with anyone now since Abigail's in a bad mood."

"Eeh? You figured it out?" Leo shrugged it off, "truly, there's no one for me. I don't really believe in things like love. It only pains ya anyway,"

"Marinette, I like.." Adrien started, making both of them turn to the bestowed couple in discern. Right after I like, Adrien couldn't say the last one. Why can't I say it? Just one word, that's all. Marinette was waiting for the other one, but all Adrien could say was.. "..hamburgers!" Three of them sulked, even Adrien as well. Leroy facepalmed as Leo's glasses fell out of shame. "I..like hamburgers,"

"Oh, that's great.." Marinette was dumbfounded, did he really came to me just to say that? "Great.. I don't like hamburgers though, American food is difficult than French's."

Adrien then croaked out, "was that rejection or discombulation..?" Even though he said "I like hamburgers" which he meant to say by "I like you" was hurting him a bit since Marinette said she didn't liked it.

He leisurely paced back to Leo and Leroy, "I.. I can't say it." He sulked, with his soul popping out of his mouth. This time, Leroy didn't pushed it back in, he just let it flow out. Adrien's soul needs space, 'kay?

Leroy shoved his hands in his pockets, "dude, you're crazy. Hamburgers, really? She even said she didn't like it. It sounds like she's disapproving you, dude. But not literally,"

"She hates me,"

"Haha! Can't tell her, huh? Well, all men are just like that from the start!" Leo gave Adrien a noogie, actually quite choking him. While Adrien gasped for air, Leroy grunted in annoyance.

"A word of advice, Runt.. if you're a real man, then shut the crap up and just tell her 'I love you' already. I mean, there's no harm in that, you guys are a future spouse couple anyway."

"Well, why don't you tell that to Abigail?!" Adrien alarmed, "an eye for an eye, isn't it?! You go first!"

"Sure." Leroy shrugged as both of them turned pale.

"He's got guts.." both said simultaneously. "Though, that's easier said than done." Leo said shamefully.

"Yo, Chérie. I wanna tell you something." Both hairs were standing right after Leroy christened that without anxiously sweating or anything, he was impassive. Abigail, who just got down from the stairs of the Student Council, turned her heel. She sheered over at Leo without interest. "I love you," he said in an apathetic monotone.

Abigail was silent, she wasn't blushing. Only unfazed. Has that happened before or is she just not surprised. "Thanks, I love you too." She blankly responded, pacing up to the girl's restroom.

Adrien and Leo were all pale as they watched Leroy still unfazed, walking back to them. "There. Deal's a deal. Now go tell Pigtails,"

"H-How did you do that?"

"Just be yourself, you dope." And that's when they saw Marinette walking up to class, Adrien freaked, gripping on his head.

"How am I going to say it to her in class?! In front of all people?!"

Leo picked his glasses up, only finding them all broke and squashed. "Guess it's too late, she already got up. Now go up there and tell her, love boy." He pushed roughly Adrien to the stairs, earning a shriek of fright from Adrien.

"You gotta be kidding me, seriously?!"

"Do it. Hey, Leroy done it." Leo pushed him to class, all numb at the moment.

"Whoa, Whoa, Whoa! What do you think you're doing?!" Adrien freaked, squirming as he tried to escape but the Lion guardian was indeed strong and powerful. "And how can you see without your glasses?!"

"I wear glasses to see something even though if they're farther than across the universe. I have the normal human eyesight without glasses, so I need new ones to restore my superhuman extrasensory again." He pushed him in, busting him to see Adrien's classmates and Ms. Bustier gazing at them in a shock. He pushed Adrien to the front, "sorry he's late. We needed to chat over something." Before he shut the door, he muttered in a low voice, loud enough for Adrien only to hear. "Say it to her or lose the one you love,"

Once he left, Adrien looked up to Ms. Bustier who stared at Adrien then back at the door where Leo had closed in a shock. She then shooked it off and said, "Adrien, please take your seat."

Adrien crawled up to his seat, sulking. Only earning a whisper from Nino, "dude, who was that guy over there? Isn't he a young adult? What's he doing in our school?"

"Oh, that's.. that's..Leo Pierre," Adrien retorted, not contemplating whether if he might blew Leroy's reputation. "Leroy's big brother."

"Whoa, Leroy's not the oldest?!" Nino nearly yelled, but got a smack from his bro. "Sorry, it's just..that Leroy dude's pretty much the oldest in class. I didn't expect him to have a brother who's actually a year older than him."

"Who was that?" Alya queried, whispering to Marinette who was beside her.

"Oh, that's Leroy's big brother, Leo." Marinette retorted impetously. She was busy folding papers into Origami, she smiled as she created a heart. Hmm, Twin Hearts Miraculous, huh? I love that title. It suits us.

"Huh?! Brother?!" Alya barely squeaked, "they don't look alike at all!"

"Oh come on, we look alike." Leroy suddenly peeped behind them, "more or less?" He darkly stared at Adrien for ruining his reputation, Adrien could feel the ominous aura. He was dead for sure. He was drenched with sweat, Abigail, kill me now please. Before Leroy does!
