One night, while visiting an old temple in a distant land, Ayame encounters a young boy named Haru, who has been marked by a mysterious dark symbol on his hand. The mark is unlike anything Ayame has seen before, pulsing with the same chaotic energy she felt during her battle with Zarah. Haru is scared and confused, unaware of what this mark means, but Ayame can feel the growing darkness within him.

The mark seems to be a remnant of The Devourer, as if a fragment of the entity managed to escape and has now taken root in Haru. Ayame realizes that while she stopped the full summoning, a piece of The Devourer's essence survived, seeking to grow and spread. Haru is now the key, and unless she finds a way to remove the mark, the dark power within him could awaken and plunge the world into chaos once more.
