As Ayame races to track down the Death Stones, she encounters unexpected resistance from Rin, a resurrected version of the masked hunter who was revealed to be her brother in a previous life. Though he had disappeared after the battle with The Watcher, he returns under mysterious circumstances, his mind twisted by dark magic. The Eclipse Order has revived him as their champion, a pawn to do their bidding.

The reunion between Ayame and Rin is emotionally charged. Rin, now filled with hatred, blames Ayame for dooming him to an endless cycle of suffering, as his own soul was corrupted by the same power that bound her. Ayame, however, refuses to fight him, instead trying to reach the brother she once loved, hoping to free him from the Eclipse Order's control.
