Noticing that everyone was staring at her with great astonishment, Pallavi laughed.

"Why are you all so shocked? Mummyji, aren't you forgetting something? More than our Ranbir, it is Prachi who is getting into troubles. The poor girl had to suffer so much since she had set foot in this city. So, don't you think you should remove evil eye from Prachi too?" Pallavi raised her brows, smiling.

"Pallo, you will give me heart attack someday. Of course I will. Come here, my child." Daljeet walked towards Prachi even as Pallavi giggled.

After removing evil eye from prachi, Daljeet asked them to enter. Pranbir walked in together, a fact that didn't go unnoticed by the others. They smiled lovingly at the adorable couple while the incident had successfully wiped the smile off the faces of two persons. 

Aliya and Rhea glowered at Prachi and fumed with helpless fury.

"I should return home now. Ma must be worried." Prachi smiled. 

"But not before having breakfast with us." Pallavi smiled at Prachi.

"But aunty..." Prachi began

"No ifs and buts. I won't let you go home with an empty stomach. After you have had your breakfast, Aryan can drop you to your home." Pallavi's tone brooked no argument.

Smiling, Prachi gave in to the loving demand  and moved towards the dining hall along with the others. 

"I will get everything ready. Rhea, come baby, have your breakfast." Meera placed a hand on Rhea's arm.

"No Meera. From now on, Aliya and Rhea will have all their meals in their own rooms. They have lost the right to have them with us when they had backstabbed us. And that's final." Abhishek clarified.

Hurt by her father's words, Rhea dashed away. When Aliya started to go behind her, Abhishek stopped her.

"Aliya, you will not even talk to her. I don't want your evil influence over my daughter ever again. You have done enough damage." Abhishek glared at Aliya.

Aliya turned on her heels and strode away in anger.

"Prachi, thank you once again. You have saved Ranbir's life from that hooligan, Sanju. Abhi told us everything." Pallavi became emotional while thanking Prachi and dabbed her eyes with her handkerchief.

"Aunty, I didn't do anything. I had just informed Mehra sir about my doubt. He worked on it." Prachi was embarrassed.

"And if you hadn't recognized his perfume and suspected his presence in the hospital, we wouldn't have been able to do anything about it. So, the whole credit goes to you." Abhishek smiled affectionately at the girl he considered to be not less than his own daughter.

"You know, seeing you two it feels like father and daughter are giving credits to each other." Vikram chuckled

Prachi and Abhishek smiled looking at each other, unaware of the true relationship that they shared.

As Aryan's car pulled up in front of Prachi's home, Prachi turned to Aryan with a smile and thanked him for dropping her home.

"Aryan, come inside for a coffee." Prachi invited Aryan.

"Thanks Prachi. I will definitely come but not today. I...I am just not in the best of moods. I will come some other day." Aryan smiled but there was sadness in his eyes.

"Okay. Bye Aryan. And drive carefully." Understanding his state of mind after the revelations about his mother's misdeeds, Prachi didn't insist.

"I will. Bye Prachi." Aryan smiled.

Waving Aryan goodbye, Prachi turned on her heels and walked towards her home as Aryan pulled away.

Pragya was the one to open the door. She was a little concerned seeing the exhaustion on her daughter's beautiful features.

"Prachi, what happened? Are you okay? Is everything alright? How is Ranbir?" Pragya looked at Prachi with concern.

"We are fine, Ma. And everything is alright now. But many things happened yesterday." Prachi sighed tiredly.

"What happened Prachi?" Sahana looked at Prachi as Prachi slumped down on the couch in the living room.

"You know who was the mastermind behind the recent theft case on me?" Prachi sighed.

"Who? Just tell me. I will break that person's bones." Saritaji promised.

"Rhea and her aunt. Also, when Aryan stood for the truth and spoke up against his mother for her evil deed." Prachi's answer shocked the other three to the core.

Sahana was surprised to hear that. She had known that Aryan was a good friend and a good human being. But she had never known that he was such a courageous person too. Because it takes more courage to stand up against one's family than to stand up against the outsiders. Her respect for Aryan as a person increased by leaps and bounds. But, at the same time, she felt sad for the guy as he must be really upset after knowing about his mother's crimes. 

"Rhea! I can't believe this!" Pragya was shocked the most.

"Not only that, Ma. Rhea was the one to trap me in that fake MMS scandal and also the drug case." Prachi clasped her mother's hand, knowing how difficult it would be for her since she had trusted Rhea and considered her not less than a daughter.

Pragya shook her head in disbelief. She could not believe her own ears. The girl she had felt so bad for being deprived of a mother's love and had been so attached to, seeing the reflection of her beloved husband in her impulsiveness, was the one to get her own daughter into so much trouble.

Pragya also felt guilty for trusting Rhea inspite of repeated warnings of Prachi, Sahana and Saritaji. They were right in their opinion about Rhea.

She was so wrong about that girl.Pragya's features hardened as she decided to confront Rhea about it.

"I have always know that girl is bad news." Saritaji declared furiously.

"That Rhea is such a vicious person. She is nothing but a monster." Sahana was indignant.

"Ma, are you okay?" Prachi looked at Pragya with concern as she was very subdued.

"Don't worry, Prachi. I am fine. I had trusted the wrong person. But not anymore. Now go and take some rest. Yesterday was hard on you. And you two will also have to go to college tomorrow." Pragya smiled at her concerned daughter.

"Okay, Ma." Prachi got to her feet and made her way towards her room, followed by Sahana.

Next day morning

Pragya was hurrying through the college campus, clutching a bag. 

"What shall I do with this girl? She was in so much hurry that she forgot to take her lunch box with her." Pragya sighed as she kept walking while simultaneously trying to call Prachi on her phone.

Since she was fiddling with her phone, Pragya didn't notice the person walking towards her from the opposite direction. As she was about to collide with the person, the person hold her arms and stopped her.

Startled, Pragya looked up with a thankful smile but as she saw just who it was in front of her, the smile died a quick death. A frown replaced the smile.

Rhea, who had been smiling seeing Pragya, was startled at the abrupt change. Her smile faltered and finally faded away.

"Aun..aunty..." Rhea stammered nervously.

"You look so innocent. Anyone can be forgiven for thinking that you don't have a devious bone in your body. But everyone who thinks so cannot be more wrong, isn't it, Rhea? I should know, since I am one of them." Pragya glared at Rhea.

"I..." Rhea stopped, not knowing what to say.

"Yes, you. You were the one that I trusted, loved and cared for in spite of my family's opinion that you are not a good person. You were the person in whom I thought I saw the reflection of my husband. But I couldn't have been more wrong, could I? Prachi's father was impulsive but never a vicious person. Whereas, you, Rhea Mehra, are a downright disgusting person. You broke my trust and not only that, you are such a fabulous actress that while maintaining your good girl image in front of me you kept on plotting how to do the most damage to my daughter. How could you do that, Rhea? While professing that you care for me, you went on trying to ruin my own daughter's life? You know something, you are beyond disgusting. You are such a malicious person who understands only the language of hatred, no matter how much love anyone showers on you. Now that I no longer have the blind fold of love and compassion over my eyes when it comes to you, let me warn you that if you ever try to trouble my daughter again you will face my wrath. From now on you will stay away, both from my daughter as well as me. I don't ever want to see you again. Oh and tell your aunt that I will meet her too. I want to know what my daughter did to warrant so much hatred from her. Now, get out of my way." Pragya's eyes were showering only fury and disgust over a tearful Rhea.

Rhea stepped aside and Pragya walked past the teary eyed girl.
