The two brothers arrived at this huge orange mention. Oscar opened the gate and they drove inside with Lanton’s car behind Oscar’s. A young bubbly girl came out of the house as soon as the cars parked and started screaming “brother”! to Oscar and Lanton just stood there thinking of his baby sis.

“Kate how are you”, Oscar said breaking the hug and pinching Kate’s chubby cheeks.

“Haibo, now I’m not fine I told you to stop bullying my cheeks bhuti  (Brother)”, she faked a frown.

“Stop that now ntwanami, meet my very good friend here”, Oscar said looking at Lanton.

“Where are my manners, how are you friend aBhuti”, she greeted.

“How are you Kate”, Lanton said shaking her hand.

“Am good, ummm..”, she answered and realised that she didn’t know his name.

“It’s Lanton”, Lanton chuckled and Kate felt some type of way, looking at him and Lanton removed his cap and sun glasses.

“Oh, no!!!! Young Vinly!!! How could I have missed that God! This can’t be happening”, she screamed so dramatically and they all laughed.

“I always wear this so that people won’t do what you just did right now”, Lanton laughed.

“Ok, ok, is mom home?”, Oscar asked as they were now entering the house.

“What was that all screaming about”, a good and fancy looking lady came running downstairs and she finally reached up with the boys and Kate.

“Mom!! Can you believe that uBhuti is friends with the famous YV!”, she screamed jumping up and down and Mrs Dube just stood there flabbergasted.

“Hie Mrs Dube”, Lanton said extending his hand for a hand shake but Mrs Dube was too alarmed to take the greeting.

“Mom, Lanton is greeting you”, Oscar said tapping his mother’s shoulder.

“Ummm, h-hie”, she stammered greeting Lanton back.

“Oh, no mom is too much I thought I would be the one too shocked to finally see YV in person but she is the one all shocked that she can’t even speak, oh God”. Kate exclaimed and the other’s just chuckled.

“Actually mom, we need to talk to you. Kate can you please go up to your room”, Oscar said and Mrs Dube was all worried with sweaty hands.

“First let me take a snap with YV please, I need an update on my IG”, she pouted taking out her phone from her jean pocket.

“Ok, ok”, Oscar agreed and she took snaps with Lanton, she was so happy.

“You are too childish for a 17 year old grown up arse”, Oscar complained and after a while Kate went upstairs.

“Come sit down”, Oscar offered Lanton a seat and Mrs Dube was just staring into space all this while, she had mixed feelings.

Finally the three of them set down and there was awkward silence between them and Lanton decided to break the ice.

“I’m sorry for coming to your house unannounced Mrs Dube”, Lanton urged swallowing nervously.

“I need the whole truth now, you’ve kept me in the dark for way to long now please just confirm everything that Lanton told me mama”, Oscar demanded angrily.

“I’m sorry baby”, Mrs Dube mumbled with a shaky voice.

“I don’t want your sorry I want the truth”, Oscar snapped at her and she was feeling hurt that she regretted keeping the truth from him in the first place.

“I’ll tell you everything even if I hate talking about the past (Sigh) I used to live in SA as you know and I met my soul mate there in high school. We dated for four good years, I was so madly in love with Jonathan, that was his name and one day I found out that I was pregnant. I was too young and I knew my parents were going to kick me out of the house, I even thought of aborting the baby but I just couldn’t do it. Jonathan found out and he got so mad at me for trying to get rid of my pregnancy and he promised to take care of me and to pay damages to my parents. He did exactly what he promised but my parents were very mad at me because of my actions but fortunately they didn’t disown me but they kicked my arse out of their house”

“I started to live with Nathan and when I was 5 months pregnant tragedy happened and Nathan was taken away from me. Death took him away (Crying) I was left so devastated and lost but fortunately his brother took over and started taking care of me until I gave birth to my baby boy who looked so much like my late husband. The young version of Nathan. Jason Nathan’s brother took care of us, we would go outing and all that but I knew that he had his wife and she had also had given birth to a baby boy. After some time things started changing and that is when I left everything in SA and I came to Zim. I met Mr Dube he was willing to take good care of me and my son. Mr Dube’s wife had also recently died from cancer. So we made a vow to never tell you that you are not blood brothers for your own sake”, Mrs Dube explained everything whilst the boys were listening very attentively.

Lanton was getting Mrs Dube’s story and he knew that his father was telling the truth and he was right for trusting him. The only thing left was for his mom to know the whole truth too.

“Mom, why. You are so selfish”, Oscar whispered as tears rolled down his cheeks, they say men don’t cry but it’s all lies people men cry and they also get hurt sometimes.

“I didn’t want to lose you Oscar baby, I thought that if I tell you the truth you would try to find your father’s relatives and neglect me”, she sobbed going to sit next to Oscar.

“No mama, this is not how things are done, I refuse this. Haven’t you ever had the sentence that says the truth will always come out at the end, why mom, why! You deprived me 21 years of being with my real home, my uncle, my own brother, my blood”, He sobbed hurting so much and Mrs Dube hold both of his hands.

“Oscar baby this is home, Mr Dube is your father, Mr Dube in Boltong is your uncle, Thabani is your brother son”, She explained trying to touch Lanton’s hand but he yanked it away.

“No woman!! (Standing up) don’t you ever say that Mr Dube is my father. He is not! My father died a long time ago and I wish he was still alive I wouldn’t have met this Dube man. Do you think that I’m foolish, I’m not that little kid any more, whom you always tell that “he is doing this because you are the oldest” I’ve grown up and I know that that man hates me. He hates be so much and he always treats me like an out sider which I surely am. You know what I don’t care anymore, I will leave this house and leave you all alone with the great Dube and his wealth. No wonder he never made me his heir to his empire though I was the eldest, he knew that I belong with the Johnsons”, Oscar got up and Lanton went to him.

“No bro you can’t leave, where will you go”, Lanton asked concerned since Oscar had told him about his job.

“I would rather live in the streets than to live with this woman bro. I hate this family, I never felt at home here. I was never part of this family in the first place”, Oscar snapped and walked upstairs, he heard soft sobs coming from Kate’s room and he got in.

“Kate, baby sis”, he said touching Kate’s back and she moved away from him.

“Don’t touch me, I heard everything. You hate this family bhuti, you hate me. I hate that YV he is taking you away from me, I’m not his fan anymore”, she bellowed very upset.

“Did you hear the whole story Kate? You don’t just say that without knowing the whole truth and…”, Oscar tried explaining things to Kate but she was crying way too loud.

“No stop lying I heard you said dad is not your father and uBhuti Thabani is not even a drop of your blood”, Kate said in between the weeps.

“You eavesdropped on our conversation Kate and that was wrong because you didn’t get to know the whole truth. Don’t you know that eavesdroppers always get things wrongly and right now that is what you did. You know what I’m going through so much right now I don’t really need this Kate”, Oscar said calmly and went to his room.

“Please Standwa make him understand, I love him way too much. I can’t lose him, he is the only thing I got that makes me feel like Nathan is still around me. Please make him understand, I never meant to hurt him”, Mrs Dube begged Lanton and he didn’t know what to do because he also wanted her help.

“No Mam please get up, you can’t break down now, I know Oscar loves you too. He will come to his senses just give him time and space he will come around”, Lanton reassured hugging her.

“You are such a good person Lanton and please stick around your brother. I know what I did was so unfair upon him but I thought I was protecting him, I needed to provide for us after we left SA I didn’t mean to separate him from his people. I was just too selfish and karma is meeting up with me now”, Mrs Dube cried and Lanton hold onto her so tight, he felt the sincerity in her voice and felt sorry for her.

“Mrs Dube don’t break down I need you more than ever. Karma is not catching up with you in a bad way it’s catching up with you so that you mend broken relationships. Karma wants you to help my broken family to reunite and you are the only person that can do that, you are the only one that can help my mom and dad to reunite”, Lanton sighed and Mrs Dube moved a bit and looked at Lanton.

“What? Jason’s family broke apart! How, I mean they were the coolest couple ever though I never met sister in-law but brother in-law always talked about her and I just loved her even before I met her. I always wanted to meet that lady, what happened son”, Mrs Dube said blinking rapidly.

“Mrs Dube….”, Lanton mumbled and she cut him.

“No call me Mama my child”, she smiled taking his hand into hers.

“Ok mama the reason I came here was because I needed your help”, he sighed and Oscar came down with his luggage.

“I’ll meet you in the car bro L”, Oscar said so serious exiting the door and Lanton just nodded.

“As I was saying Mrs….. I mean mama (he told her everything that happened)

“Oh, no I need to fix this I never knew that it was this bad so for all these years they’ve been apart for such baseless accusations. No I need to light up the darkness your mom is in, but I really don’t blame her us women are created like that. We can’t bare to see our men taken away from us or cheating on us. I really do understand her. I will come to Boltong this Wednesday when my husband will be in Victoria Falls”, she concluded and both of them were so happy and Lanton’s mission was once again successful.

Mama Dube and Lanton bid ware fare and the boys drove off. On the way Lanton saw many missed calls from Shennie and he just remembered that his phone was on silent since he entered the Mama Dube’s home. He then called her back and connected the call on the BT in the car.

Ongoing Call>>>>>>

“Lenti babe are you fine, I was trying to reach you all day but you were not answering tell me what happened”, Shennie blurted and Lenti was drowned in her angelic voice.

“Eyy, calm down NayNay. I am fine I just forgot to put my phone on sound babe I’m really sorry”, He said convincingly.

“You got me all scared babe”, Shennie sighed, she was so scared that maybe Tadiwa did some silly things she was so scared of him after seeing that scary side of him.

“I’ll never put my phone on silent babe I promise ok, what about dinner at my place?”, he suggested nervously.

“Ummmm, babe isn’t it too soon to start meeting families now. I mean we’ve just recently found each other”, Shennie said feeling nervous too, she was not ready to meet his family, atleast not now.

“But babe I just need my mom to know the girl I’m dating the girl I want to marry one day, the fact that we recently found each other can’t stop you from meeting my family. I want you to meet them if not tonight then maybe tomorrow night”, he commanded, he was waiting for this moment for a long time and he just can’t keep anything away from his mom.

“Lenti is that a demanding tone I’m hearing?”, Shennie asked a bit upset she doesn’t like the demanding Lenti at all.

“No babe I’m just stating the facts love, we ain’t getting any younger I’m already twenty two soon I’ll be 23 and I need you in my life so badly”, Lanton justified himself.

“Ok babe I’ll meet them tomorrow night then”, Shennie agreed and she really was looking forward to a mother in-law not monster in-law.

“That’s the spirit my NayNay, so today I’m meeting you for a dinner just the two of us”, Lanton said that in a very seductive way.

“I can’t wait for that Mr Me”, She asked blushing on the phone.

“Are you blushing babe?”, he asked bitting his lip in his car.

“N—no why say so?”, she stammered running to the mirror and she was still blushing. She just asked how he knew that, damn!

“I can read by your voice NayNay, I know you too well”, he said taking a turn off to Boltong and Ocar did the same, he didn’t even realise how this distance became so short.

“No that’s unfair”, she pouted her lips going back to sit on the bed.

“And now you are pouting you lips”, Lanton chuckled loving this convo so much. He just knew NayNay in and outside except her Nunuberry (pu**y).

“No, I’m cutting this call you are such a big bully”, she frowned.

“I’m your big bully”, he chuckled.

“MXM! I’m so going to get you for this”, she promised.

“That’s just impossible NayNay, anyways I’ll test you for the venue and theme babe, I might just have an accident you talk too much”, he said with flashy eyes of happiness.

“Did everything went well with your aunty?”, she asked concerned.

“I’ll tell you everything tonight NayNay”, he sighed.

“Okay, drive safely babe. I’m going to get ready now”, she said and they had a little fight about who was going to hang up and at last Shennie hang up.

I was feeling all excited about this dinner just for two thing. I called Violet to ask for ideas of what I should wear but her phone was unreachable. MXM! What now? Yes my Mikayla, I will call her she won’t mind I know.

Ongoing Video Call>>>>>

“Baby Boo!!”, she screamed as soon as she answered the call.

“OMG! Look at you looking all stylish big sis”, I screamed too and we both laughed.

“It’s money baby boo and now I am so going to start rapping, Lanton is just encouraging me man”, she said all jolly.

“You’d always wanted that Micky go for it I know that you are a star deep down there. Just show the world what you can do”, I assured her, I truly believe in her.

“I will baby boo, I just need to work under a Firm back in Zimbabwe, my mother and I decided to come back home and we will be living in Warren Park”, she said and I screamed jumping up and down from my bed. I was so excited that Micky is coming back in Zim.

“I’m so happy this is the best news ever, by the way Lanton is starting his Music Firm in the next few weeks you can work under his Firm”, Shennie exclaimed feeling all jolly good.

“Really!! I’m so happy right now and working with Lanton will be much easier too. I’m so happy that you guys made up see all the blessings coming my way nah”, she gushed out and i busted into a painful laugh. Micky was so going to be the death of me.

“You’ll make me forget why I even called you in the first place Micky”, I said catching my lost breath.

“Tell me baby boo, don’t tell me I’m already doing a relationship canceller on you two?”, she teased making me recall those high school days when Lenti and I would fight over silly things like “why were you talking to him?” and why were you looking at her” stuffs. We were so obsessed with each other that it could hurt to see even any one of us laughing with someone else and I think that we still are.

“No, you dump head, I need you to help me chose what to wear on my first date after a long time Micky, that’s why I used vcall”, I pouted giving her puppy eyes.

“I knew it! You devil’s little sis, you didn’t miss me at all you just want to use me”, she frowned dramatically and I busted out a laughter that I knew she would surely join me and she did.

“I always call you Micky don’t lie, I even call mommy ka Micky just to hear how you doing”, I said justifying my arse.

“I know baby boo, you are just the best. Even after so many years you still kept contact with me, you stuck with me through all the ups and downs. You made me see what true friendship is and what true love is Shennie. You have such a golden soul, Brittney and Glenda last talked to me just a few weeks after we all separated but you are just one of a kind, I feel so blessed to have you in my life”, she emotionally touched my soul and a tear dropped from my eye.

“Aww Micky stop getting me all emotional I’m the blessed one here, you are the one who taught me the other side of life, which had no luxary, big cars, big houses and tight security. I was just myself when I was with you and even though I went to church every Sunday with my family, you taught me the how to pray and the power of prayer and finaly I drew close to God. Thank you so much”, I sobbed and she just cried too. I really didn’t know that we still had this powerful connection after all this while.

“Now let’s see what my baby boo will be rocking in tonight, what’s the dressing code”, she sked wiping away her tears which had mascara all over her cheeks and I took a screen shot of this scene.

“He said something sexy not too sexy though since he doesn’t trust men outside the streets”, I blushed a little.

“Ok baby boo take me to that walking wardrobe now!!”, she screamed, I knew this was her favourite time of any day, choosing clothes for any event.

I opened the door to my wardrobe and we spent an hour to finally choose something to wear.

She chose a black length knee dress which was see through at the top and red block heels. I was stunning, Micky just had a good taste in clothing.

Hours passed and I got ready for the dinner I styled my hair into a messy bun. After some minutes Lenti called saying he’s at the gate, he didn’t want me to drive myself. I told mom that I was going to go out with Violet and she gave me that “you are lying” look but I just ignored it. Fortunately dad was still at work so it was easy to get out.

I walked out of the gate and saw Lenti leaning on a white X-Trail S4 looking all handsome in a black slim fit trousers and a red shirt. I wonder how he knew my colours this one. He met me half way and give me that wow look before hugging me. He put his hands around my waist and pulled me closer. We made an eye contact and I saw how hungry he was for me. I was blushing so much and I looked down on my toes. He raised up my chin and I could feel his breath near my face. I felt butterflies in my tummy, he was making me have those foreign feelings. His lips met mine and his tongue met mine, we kissed right in the presence of the moon and stars. The kiss went on for a while and then I broke it smiling.

“You are enthralling NayNay”, he commented and I smiled more.

“And you are charming Mr Me”, I blushed and he kissed my forehead.

“Let’s go my gold-star”, he said biting his lower lip.

“As you say my king”, I smiled following his lead.

“Feel comfy”, he said opening the car door for me.

“As long as you are with me I’ll always feel comfy”, I said getting in the car and he closed it.

He played soft music all the way to the venue. It was a  30 minutes drive and we were finally at this restaurant near Lake Chivero. We parked the car at the car park inside the Lake Chivero. He held my hand and we walked to a very breath taking spot where there was a pool and we could see the Lake on the other side. There was a romantic set up with very nice decor which had red rose petals all around. He helped to sit down on a white couch and he set on the opposite. It was so romantic and I just fell for him more. The place was so isolated and I just loved it, Lenti just knew my taste very well.

“You like it?”, he asked looking at me.

“No”, I faked a frown.

“Oh, I’m so sorry I can arrange for something, let me call Genny”, he said so embarrassed taking his phone out.

“Stop! I mean I don’t like it but I love it babe, this is so tremendous only a fool would not love this. You just know me very well”, I joyfully said and his face was now thrilled.

“You scared me there, don’t do that NayNay”, he sighed and he called for a waitress.

We placed our orders and we ate Chinese Food. The food tasted so good that I ended up placing a package to carry home, my mom just needed to taste this. We ate over a light conversation, he was telling me what happened at his aunt’s place and I must say if I was also in Oscar’s shoes I would’ve done the same thing. Imagine knowing that all the years of your life was all a big lie, anyways I won’t judge his mom I’m not God.

It was now 2030hrs and we were now having red wine.

“I’m so happy that I’m here with you NayNay”, he said holding my hand.

“You know what I learnt the past years you were gone”, I asked looking deep into his eyes.

“Tell me”, he said returning the look.

“I learnt that true love can never be broken by a long distance and that I will never feel anything for any other man out there. You are my only love, many guys tried to propose to me but I never felt anything for them and Vee ended up thinking that you gave me a love portion. I just can’t help the feelings that I have for you and if one day you leave me I’ll just die Lenti”, I emotionally said from the bottom of my heart.

“I also learnt one very important thing”, he side smiled coming to sit on my couch.

“What”, I asked adjusting my head to look at him.

“That our souls are destined for life NayNay, we have separated not only once but many timed but destiny always brings us back together. I found my soul mate in you and you make me whole. I’ve never in my life given any other girl a chance to love me because your love is enough for me. I’ve never introduced any girl to my mom because the only daughter in-law she’ll know is you and only you. I know that I belong with you and you belong with me. Your soul (kissing my neck), your lips (kissing my lips), your waist (holding my waist), your boobs (holding my boobs), your whole body (pulling her closer to him) belongs to me”, he said doing all sort of things to me.

I’ve never had any physical contact with any guy ever since Lenti went to SA and this was all new to me. And what we used to do back then was just kisses and nothing more than that. This time I felt my body shivering and I felt wet down there. He kept on touching my body and I released soft moans, if we were inside I don’t know what we would’ve been doing right now.

“I booked a lodge for us just the two of us NayNay”, he said seductively.

“But babe, I have to be home before ten”, I stammered gasping for air, I was losing my mind.

“You can call her and say that you spending the night at Violet’s place”, he asked with puppy eyes but I wasn’t going to fall for it.

“No Lenti, I can’t lie to my mom and one more thing babe, you know how I was raised babe and my beliefs. I can’t just spend a night with you, I don’t want to be in a position where I can commit any sins”, I declared standing up and I could clearly see how pissed he was.

“So you going to leave me like this Shennie!”, he yelled pointing at his man hood which was so hard and I swallowed so hard. I just knew that he was angry he never calls me Shennie unless he’s very angry.

“I’m not doing this with you right now Lanton, I told you I just can’t disrespect my parents like this. I want to stay pure until I’m married and if you can’t respect that then I’m afraid that this whole thing won’t work”, I fumed taking my string bag from the couch and walked away.
