Shennie POV

I was flabbergasted as I saw that message written "hie NayNay",. Could this be real? That was the question that was running through my mind all this while. I stared at that message for some minutes, I couldn't find the courage to reply. Was it really him? Where did he get my number? Does he still love me? I finally answered him back. When he said he wanted to see me, I was in the nineth cloud already. I really wanted to see him too, just to make sure that I wasn't building castles in the air.

As I walked out of the house, going towards Lenti. It felt like I was walking to my whole world, the world that I once walked away from. Lenti had grown up to be this handsome guy that blew my mind. He was now taller than me, he had lost weight and he now had muscles. He looked so dashing and with that dimpled smile he was giving me, I surely lost my mind.

He had changed so much, I just hoped that his heart didn't change. That's when I realized the effect that he still had on me and I began to regret all the things I've done the past few years. I regreted dating Kyle.

I wanted to tell him about Kyle but I just couldn't. I thought that if I did I would lose him for good. After all what he doesn't know won't hurt him, right? I just thought of leaving that issue like that. When he said that he wants me back,  I wanted to say that I want him back too right there and then but I didn't want to seem desperate so I just brushed the question off and when I got inside my room, I took a very deep and loudest sigh. My heart was racing so fast even Usain Bolt doesn't race like that. Why does Lenti makes me feel like this? Why only him?

The next morning, I woke up with a huge grin on my face. Luckily tonight I didn't have any nightmares. It was cloudy, it looked like it was going to rain heavily today. How boring it is to go to school on a rainy day? I clicked my tongue. I hated the rainy season so much, the only thing I liked was that smell that comes before the water pours. I like the smell so much. I mean who doesn't like that amazing smell? I quickly went to the bathroom and took a quick warm babble bath.

I went on whatsapp to plan on what we will be wearing with Mikayla. When I went on whatsapp I had dozens of messages from Lenti. I quickly opened them.

Why did I even put my phone on silent mode? MXM, Lenti must already have been gone to his new school. I was curious to know this mind-blowing story of his. I really wanted to know. I didn't know why but I felt like it was linked to me in some type of way. I just replied him with a sad emoje saying...

Sorry my phone was on silent mode😔, tell me the story when you come back from school ohk.✅

My message had a one tick which meant that he had turnes his WiFi or data off. Next time I won't put my phone on silence, see now I had to be curious all day and trying to guess what he wants to tell me. I almost forgot why I came online in the first place and I was running out of time. I quickly sent Micky a text and then we decided to go for this look.

Shennie and Mikayla

There was no need to comb my hair,  since it was curled. I liked my hairstyle. I quickly grabbed my bag and ran downstairs. I found my dad speaking to someone on the phone at the dining table. I joined him, it looks like he was talking to Ellain. She had gone abroad to meet Darel's aunt's. It seemed like he was planning on marrying my sister soon. I was really happy for her. Nowadays, finding true love is very difficult. And finding a guy who wants to marry you and honour your self respect and dignity is very rare. If you find someone like that, then it's a true blessing from above and don't ever take it for granted.

He finally cut the call.

"Morning dad",  I said to him while I was taking a sip of my orange juice.

"Morning Arti, how are you?",  he answered as he took the last bite of his toasted bread.

"I'm fine",  I answered eating very fast and my dad was just looking at my dressing. I knew exactly what he was about to say.

"So you are really going to wear that?",  he asked me and I just looked down.

"What's wrong with it?",  for the first time Cherry knew the right time to appear. She asked dad as she sat down for break fast.

"Morning sis",  I was trying really hard to rub off that topic. I wasn't going to change my look at all.

"Morning baby,  dad how are you?",  she asks looking at dad with a dimpled smile.

"I'm fine, Arti be fast. You'll find me waiting in the car",  he said getting up.

"OK, I'll be there soon",  I said in relief. I'm glad he didn't keep on talking about my dressing.

"I saved your poor butt today!",  Cherry said on top of her voice, like seriously now? I wish she was a boy sometimes.

"Haha, I usually do the same, you just kindah returned the favour, don't praise yourself for no reason now",  I said rolling my eyes.

"OK, daddy!!!",  she shouted at dad.

"No! You saved my butt sis, thank you. I love you. You are such a sweet heart",  I said trying to stop her from this crazy scene she was about to perform. She is really crazy I tell you. If I didn't do that she would've convinced dad to make me change my clothes. She had this something in her that controlled mom and dad in some type of way. Maybe it was because she was the elder sis.

She started laughing at me. I really hated this soul. I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets to the point when you think you hate your sibling but on the inside you truly know that he or she means the world to you. Funny right?

Finally I arrived at school. Dad was just talking about my dressing all the way and I was so annoyed. The way to school was longer than all the other days, I just wanted to get off the car. When dad starts giving you a lecture, it won't end so easily.

I was the first one to arrive, so I waited for Micky at the gate. As I was waiting so patiently for her, I saw someone that looked exactly like Lenti. The guy was coming in my way looking all handsome. Why does he look exactly like Lenti? Maybe Lenti has a twin right? Why else would he be doing here? I tried to convince myself that it was surely Lenti's identical twin. As this guy got closer, I was in denial that it was Lenti.

I was blinking abnormally, my mind was everywhere. My mind was full of Lenti and now I saw him everywhere. The guy snapped me out of my day dream and I just inhaled and exhaled so loudly.

"NayNay", when that guy said that, I knew that it was really my Lenti. I wasn't day dreaming. It wasn't Lenti's twin, it was Lenti himself alive and kicking.

"Le-Lenti",  I exclaimed raising both my eyebrows.

"Yes, NayNay, you were not online in the morning. I wanted to tell you about it",  he gushed, with a grin on his face and I just wanted to understand this whole thing. Did he transfer to our school? Oh, my world!!!

"You wanted to tell me about what Lenti?",  I said with a lot of excitement in my voice.

"My mom transfered me to your school, I just found out yesterday. I couldn't believe it NayNay. We are here, together again",  he mumbled with flashing eyes.

"Are you for real right now Lenti!!!",  I screamed out loud. My heart was rejoicing.

"Yes NayNay, it seems as if destiny is on our side",  he said with a curled bottom lip.

"I can't believe", I said as I widenend my eyes in amusement.

"You better believe it", he said tapping my shoulder.

"History has repeated itself once again, I'm so happy right now",  I said jumping up and down. The enthusiasm I felt deep down my heart was just uncontrollable.

Micky arrived as I was jumping. She gave me the "Wtf look" and I just ran to her. I gave her the tightest hug ever.

"You're hurting me now, what's with the happy look early in the morning",  she cocked her head.

"I'm so happy besty!!!",  I gushed. Lenti was just quiet still standing where I left him when I ran to Micky.

"Even a blind person can see that, tell me now why are you happy? You don't like this weather and you are usually on your worst mood in the morning, so what's this now?", she asked raising her left eyebrow.

"Lenti!", it came out a bit louder.

"Really now! You are happy because you dreamt about Lenti. I thought you were only crazy but today you've proven to me that you are absurd baby boo",  she said sarcastically. She has a bad habit of assuming things all the time. Who said anything about a dream? MXM!

"You are unbelievable sometimes, come here", I said taking her hand. We walked to where Lenti was.

"Micky this is Lenti, Lenti this is my crazy friend Mikayla but I like calling her Micky",  I said smiling.

"Hell no!!",  Micky screamed.

"Hell yes!!", I screamed back.

"Nice to meet you Mikayla",  Lenti said extending his hand for a handshake to Micky.

"The famous brother inlaw, finally we've met",  Really!! Micky is too forward.

"Famous??",  Lenti said as he touched the base of his neck.

"Yea! Shennie told me a lot about you. The Pri-School sweetheart, the first love and more!",  she exclaimed. No!! Micky is going to be dead by today. She's just blabbering, no one asked anything. Damn!! Why is she like this? I was really embarrassed.

"Yes, you got that correct. The first and the only love",  he said agreeing with Micky. Seriously!

"Ugh-- why don't we go inside we are left with only 3 minutes to start the assembly",  I said clearing my throat.

"OK, I'll see you around. By the way I'm in D class",  he said as he walked away.

"See you!!",  I shouted at him and he just waved.

"You liar!!", Micky screamed as she hit me.

"Ouch!! What did I do?!!", I faked a pained look.

"You told me that Lenti was not that good looking, bla bla bla. Are you perhaps blind!",  she was being too loud. Yea, that's Micky for you.

"AAi, you are crazy. I can't believe this is happening Micky!!",  I gushed.

"You guys look so cute together",  she mumbled as she gave me a focused gaze.

"I know right!",  I said clapping my hands so loudly. This was how happy I was. Lenti made me happy. His existance in my life was just the best thing that could've ever happened to me. He has a permanent place in my heart. The more I think about him the I forget about Kyle.
