"He's a kidnapper! A murderer! A human trafficker! A killer! He's the devil himself!" He's your------.

Voice: Lenti wake up!!! (Darn it, mom! )

Me: No, mom!!!

Mom: What's wrong baby you are sweating. (She said touching my face.)

Me: Mom, why do you always do this. I was about to know who the devil is and now this! (I kinda yelled at her.)

Mom: What devil, Lenti? Are you sure you don't need a doctor, you've been doing this for too long now. (She was so concerned, but this doesn't need any doctor. What will I tell him? That I'm having a nightmare and I want to know who the devil is. MXM, how frustrating.)

Me: Mom, this needs no doctor, it's a just a mere nightmare. Don't worry, okay? (I said with a focused gaze.)

Mom: OK, now wake up remember you are going to Victoria Falls.

Yea, I'm happy that it was finally December. I'd missed my father so much. I want to tell him all about Shennie, I knew that he wouldn't freak out. Unlike mom, ey! She was over protective of me. She never wanted me to talk about girls or anything that has to do with that. That's why I needed my dad. It has been 2 months now since I finished Pri-School. I passes with flying colours. This was my result slip.

When my mom saw the slip, she got all emotional. Yea, that's my mom for you.

I was happy while packing my luggage. I can't wait to see my dad. I was all done now and my dad's driver from Victoria Falls came to take me. We drove to the airport and my dad's jet came to take me. Yea, his jet, we were not that poor. We were just satisfied. We then arrived at the gigantic house of dad after 30 minutes. This is how it looked like.

Sometimes I wonder why he needs such a big house since he lives alone. When I ask him he just says that he needs the space. If only my parents hadn't divorced we would be living together in this house. We would've been the perfect family ever. It broke my heart that our family was like this💔.

Me: Daddy!!! (I screamed running towards him.)

Dad: My boy!! (He screamed back, giving me a tight hug.)

Me: Dad. (It came out as a whisper. I was all emotional that a tear escaped my eye.)

Dad: Lanton. (He said hugging me again.)

We hugged for some minutes and then we went inside. The house was just the same. It was squiky clean. The house was all black, it was a little weird though. Everything about dad was weird in some way.

After some hours, we ate our dinner. My father loved me so much. He was just the best dad ever. We talked about so many things and when I showed him my result slip,  he was so proud of me. After dinner we watched action movies. When I'm with dad we always watch actions and if it's not an action movie then it's a horror movie. He loved them so much. His maid came with snacks and juice. There was just something creepy about this maid but I just ignored it. I just couldn't wait to tell my dad about NayNay. I had this excitement in me, that I just couldn't control.

Me: Dad. (I said with a broad grin.)

Dad: HHmm, What's with the excitement? (He said squinting.)

Me: Hmm, there's something I've been longing to tell you.

Dad: Ok,  this seems serious. Tell me. (He said turning his face to look straight into my eyes.)

Me: Sooooo there's this girl. (I said hesitantly.)

Dad: A girl? (He raised his eyebrow.)

Me: Yes, musikana (girl).

Dad: Oook. (He cocked his head.)

Me: I don't know why but I have these weird feelings when I see her. It's like I can't live if she is not with me. I feel so happy whenever I see her. She is so kind hearted. She brings up this good person in me. I mean I'm a total different person whenever I am with her. I feel like she changes the bad me. Living without her by my side is like torture. (I said with a focused gaze.)

Dad: Ohhh, let me tell you why you feel so. You've just reached your puberty stage things like this will happen. Your body is developing so you will be attracted to girls. It's natural, it's just infatuation and nothing more. (He said touchinh my shoulders.)

Me: No dad, this is not infatuation. I think I'm in love.

Dad: No, it's not. Just wait for a few days,  you will forget about that girl.

Me: No, I won't dad!

Dad: It's just teenage feelings, it will pass.

Me: But I started feeling so when I wasn't even a teenager.

Dad: Huh? (He narrowed his eyes.)

Me: Yes dad, you heard me correctly. I started feeling like that for years now. Now do you still think it's because of puberty stage? (I raised my left eyebrow.)

Dad: OK,  this is now out of hand. What's her name?

Me: NayNay.

Dad: Nay what? (I don't know why but he was so shocked when he heard the name. It wasn't even her real name, so why does he seem to be so alarmed by this?)

Me: What's wrong dad? (I was now totally lost.)

Dad: How did you know that name?!!  (He half shouted at me.)

Me: Take it easy,  it's just a puppy name that I  personally gave her.

Dad: I know it's a puppy name but I used to call your mom the same! And do you know what that means! (Ooh, so strange! He was breathing heavily.)

Me: But I just started calling her that. (I don't know where I found the name but I just found myself calling her NayNay, so what does it mean?)

Dad: No! How is this possible, you are too young. (He was confusing me even more now.)

Me: What dad! (I said touching his shoulder.)

Dad: You can't understand it, but just know that she's the chosen one for you.

Me: Chosen by who? What are you talking about. (I said rubbing my chin.)

Dad: I'll tell you when the time is right.

Me: But----

Dad: No, Lanton. I will tell you. Let's sleep now.

Why does this seem so serious. The chosen one? Chose by who, how and why? MXM!. I think I'm going to lose my mind. I tried to make him tell me but he wasn't giving in, so I just gave up. This is so frustrating. What's with my parents always hiding things from me? Looks like I had to find out things on my own.

*2 Months Later*

Voice: Everyone wake up!! School's starting soon. (Ohhh, this woman, I just hate her. I woke up frowning.)

I woke up with the others and we went to the bathing room. I was at boarding school again. I was now doing my book one. Not a single day passes without me thinking about NayNay. Our lives has totally changed. They have taken a knew turn and it was very disturbing. Living without my NayNay is like living without my other half. It's like living without a part of me. She took half of me, everytime I think about her I just feel some weird feelings in me.

Living without her is torture.
