Shennie POV

"I love you NayNay", those were the words that were echoing in my head causing my heart to skip a beat. This is the first time I am hearing these words coming from a boy. It is my first time to feel the way I am feeling right now. I didn't see this coming. I'm just new to this teenage life and now this is happening. Shouldn't it be happening when I turn maybe 18 years. I simply don't know what to say, Lenti is also just 14, only a year older than me and now this. Oh, God is this how it's supposed to work? Is this my fate? All that was just running through my mind whilst I was giving Lenti a blank stare.

Lanton POV

The past 8 months were the best months of my life. Everything was just cool. My NayNay is growing up to be a real gold-star. She is developing so many things physically and emotionally. Girls of her age do not usually have those curves she had, she was getting fat at all the right places and she was wasp-waisted. On the other hand I was becoming a Fatso. I've been eating quite a lot the past months and I was now all chubby cheeks. I want to work on that or else NayNay will never like me, even though she said it wasn't a big deal I just felt the urge to slim.

My mom, grandpa and Kay were doing fine. Kay once had a serios headache at school but she was fine when she was treated by doctor Makanzee, our family doctor. This is my baby sis at school.

She was also complaining that she doesn't want this boarding life any more. She wanted to transfer too, but mom just turned a deaf ear on her, I don't know why though. The past months I was now living with my real mom, not the one who abandoned us back then. She was all I needed right now and forever. This is how my mom looked like.

I know dad tries his best but why doesn't he visits us? If only he knew how big his girl has become now and how much they looked alike. Their green eyes and everything. This is how my father looked like.

Dad

I don' t know if it's also kinda weird to you. My dad always ways his cap like that. He is very weird, normal men in their early 40s don't do this kind of staff but my dad had to be totally different. He have tatoos all over his body, he is just too weird though. Anyways I love my dad.

•The type of feelings I had for NayNay were too deep and I wanted to know what to name them, so on the past holiday I've discussed the issue with Al. I told him how I felt and he told me that I was in love with Shennie. WTF! I'm only 14 he must be joking right? Love, me, hell no🙅. NayNay will surely freak out if I tell her I love her. What if I lose this friendship I have with her. No, I can't lose NayNay.

Alvin: If you don't want to lose her then just tell her. What if someone tells her before you. I want you to be the first one to tell her. You must be her first love, you know what they say "one can never forget a first love", so just go for it. I am with you on this one. (He assured me, holding my shoulder.)

Me: Did you also tell Princess? (I gave him a questioning deep look.)

Alvin: Hmm, Yo-o--u kn-o-w s-h-e....... (He started to stammer.)

Me: You see, when did you start to stammer dude. Practise what you preach. (I then half closed my eyes. He was the one telling me how much he loves Princess, bla bla bla but he hasn't told her yet. And he wants me to take the risk first, No!.)

Alvin: Ok, buddy I know what you are thinking but see our case is different.

Me: Nothing is different here Al, you are in love I am in love. One and the same thing.

Alvin. No, Lenti, it ain't the same. See Princess and I we only see each other on holidays that's 3 months only per year. I don't know if she even feels the same for me, but you with what you told me I can tell you that Shennie loves you. It's just too early but love knows no age. People can even date for 10 years and then get married after that.

Me: What! Dude are you on drugs. Marriage. (I laughed out so loud. He is too much.)

Alvin: Stop! You said you love her so which means you will marry her. Isn't it like that? (He was serious about all this. Eh!)

Me: Ok, ok I'm getting you but let's drop the marriage thing. So you are saying I must tell her?

Alvin: Yes! Are you that dumb dude? Tell her.

Me: Ok, I will, I always take your advise so I trust you.

Alvin: Just hold to "love knows no age", (he patted my shoulder, Ok I'm going to do this.)

So this is how Al convinced me to tell NayNay, but I was very nervous about the whole thing. Now I know what to call my feeling for NayNay, *LOVE* or *AMOR*. The whole of the holiday I was watching movies like, Romio and Juliet. Just to confirm the feelings I had for NayNay and it was all confirmed without any doubt I was in love with NayNay and I wanted her to know. I wanted to teach her about love as I was just learning too. After all love knows no age😂.

So today we are writing our first exam. I'm so downcast. I don't know what life is going to be like in high school, I won't be with my NayNay cause mom already told me that I will go to a boarding school. I just didn't want this whole thing to end just like that. My life had become more lighter with Shennie by my side. I was used to always having her around and I never got bored with her. I hate that we are already writing our exams and the worst part is we will finish writing in less than two weeks. I already have a heartache now, what more when the final day comes. I don't even wanna think about it. More reasons to confess my feelings to her. I'm going to tell her today. Come rain, come thunder, I'm gonna do it.

I was now sitting with NayNay at the fish pond. It was our favourite spot nowadays. Even though many people wanted to separate us we were just inseparable. I just trusted my NayNay 100%. So I was very nervous, I didn't know how to tell her and as we were talking, I just said I love her out of the blue. I was also shocked as much as she was. It wasn't supposed to come out like that, but it's already done so I had to face it. I don't know what she was thinking because she was just giving me a blank stare, I had to say something but "what" exactly.

Me: Hmm, I-I-.

Shennie: Me more.

What! What is that me more supposed to mean? She loves me back? Oh, My goodness, is she for real now? I am speechless, my heart is beating abnormally. I am over the moon, I just wanted to scream to the world that she loves me!!! But cat caught my toungue.

Shennie: I mean, I don't love you, no I love you but, no I don't , no I love you but I'm only 13 and my dad will surely kick my ass. (She was all confused and I was just giving her a focused gaze.)

Me: Who said we will tell him? Look here NayNay, I'm also still shocked about this whole thing, but all I know is that I love you and I am ready to kill dragons for you. Love happens NayNay, it just happened to us soon but love knows no age. (I said looking straight into her eyes.)

Shennie: You are my best friend Lenti let's keep it like that for now. I'm not saying I don't love you but I'm just not ready for this. I am still discovering myself and I hope you'll respect that. (She was so serious and I didn't know what to say.)

Me: But....

Shennie: See, Lenti we are going to different schools in high school what if you meet someone better than me? (She mumbles looking down.)

Me: Ok I get you, your problem is that you don't trust me NayNay. What's the reason I came at this school in the first place? (She was all quiet now.)

Shennie:...........

Me: No, tell me. (I said raising her chin to look at me.)

Shennie: Because of me. (She whispered.)

Me: For how long have we been apart before that?

Shennie: Almost 3 years.

Me: So, Did I forget you after all those years?

Shennie: No. But it's different now Lenti.

Me: No! Nothing is different, what makes you think that I will even find someone better, huh?! Shennie let me tell you this again maybe you are not getting me. I love you. We've been apart before, this is not new to us but it will only get new if you stop loving me or if I do.

Shennie: No! Don't say that. (She said touching my lips.)

Me: You see, the only thing that will keep us going is this love NayNay. Don't ever change who you are ok.

Shennie: I won't and same applys with you.

Me: Just for you. (My heart was tearing apart, I was now emotional but not more than NayNay. A tear just escaped her eye and I just hugged her, even though it was against the rules of the school. How can I just stare at her crying like that, to hell with the school rules!)

Me: Stop crying now you are going to make me cry too, we still have two weeks remember. (I brushed her back.)

Shennie: Yea, I want to enjoy these weeks to the fullest just with you.

Me: I promise you will surely do.

The siren then rang and we went back to the classroom. We found Wilson and Violet already holding our bags.

Us: Hey guys.

Violet: Don't Hweeyy guys us, where the hack were you? (She was furious now. Drama Queen.)

Wilson: Yes, where were you two? (He said looking at my NayNay. WTF, what's wrong with this guy? He has been doing this for quite a while now and he is getting on my last nerve now.)

Me: Why are you looking at my NayNay like that? (I bellowed at him.)

Wilson: So people can't look at her now? Just cause she's your best friend.

Me: Don't dare me Wil, you think I'm blind? I've been quiet for so long now, this is not the first time! You are pressing the wrong button and you don't want to see what I'm capable of doing. Just stay in your lane. (I snapped at him.)

Wilson: You don't get to tell me what to do! (He snapped back at me.)

Me: When it comes to NayNay, I will!

Wilson: Why! I knew her before you even did and you stole her from me! (Wtf? Is he crazy? )

Shennie: Guys, stop it! Lenti don't worst your time yelling at this jerk.

Wilson: The only jerk here is this bustard. He turned you against me. , (He said pointing at me.)

Me: Don't test me now! NayNay if I do something to this moron don't blame me.

Violet: Guys, you are getting everyone's attention let's go outside and act like civilized people.

We walked to the gate and finally we were out of the school yard.

Violet: Fight now!!! (Wtf, isn't she the one preaching about civilization back then. You never know with this crazy one.)

Shennie: No! No one is going to fight. Wilson get this one thing clearly a thing gets stolen from you only if it was yours in the first place. I was never yours and I will never be ok?

Me: You heard her clearly now go! And whatever we shared it's over you get me?

Wilson: For your own information I was never your Friend I just wanted to see my Shennie more often and you were the only easy target.

Me: What! Your Shennie? Dude just bounce right now before I do something unthinkable. (I felt my anger increasing by every second I was looking at this cheater. He used me, he used Lanton. He won't get away with this.)

Wilson: Don't you know that great talkers are little doers. You are just a Fatso who can't do anyt....... (He didn't get to finish his sentence, I had already punched him in the face and he was already down.)

Shennie: No!

Violet: Yes! (She said holding Shennie's hand.)

Me: What were you saying? Fatso's can't do what? Who is on the floor now? NayNay, I'm sorry that you had to witness this but I just couldn't control it. (I didn't regreat punching this moron.)

Wilson: You think you have won! Shennie is mine and only mine! (He said standing up and he hold Shennie's hand.)

Me: Let go of her! (I yelled at him, I felt the beast in me waking up slowly.)

Shennie: Leave me Wilson!!! (She shouted trying to get her hands off this bustard's grip.)

Me: I said let go of her! You don't want me to be your worst nightmare, I'm warning you. Let her go!! (I had now visible veins on my forehead and my hands were forming a very powerful fist. I was trying so hard to serene myself but I just couldn't take it. I rushed to Wil and removed his grip from Shennie.)

Wilson: You might remove her from my hand but you can't remove her from my heart. She is my Shennie! (He just now pushed all the wrong buttons.)

Me: Vio! NayNay turn around! (They were grimacing.) I said turn around, Now!

As they turned around, my beast was now half out. I had visible veins all over my body, all the Fatso thing was gone. My eyes had turned red, Wilson was now shivering as he saw the other me. I was ready to tear him apart. I started to punch him and the only thing that could calm my beast was to see blood on his face since Kay was not here. I finally let go of him when I saw him bleeding and I was back to normal. All the veins and read eyes had just faded just like that. I didn't want NayNay to see me in this state that's why I made them turn around. I didn't want to scare them off.

Me: Get up now! (I gave him my hand and he was so scared to even look me in the eye. Yes, exactly what I wanted. Seeing fear in him.)

The girls finally turned around and their faces turned all pink in amusement.

Shennie: No!!! What happened to Wil. His face is almost disfigured. (She was too concerned about this fool and I didn't want that at all.)

Violet: OMG, I said fight not kill!!! Wil I'm so sorry, Lenti what did you do?

Me: I didn't do anything, ask him what I did? (I said giving him a dead stare.)

Wilson: No, no, he didn't do anything. (He was shaking.)

Me: You heard him, please go home now and get your wounds treated. (He started to walk away.)

Shennie: But he's not in a good state Lenti.

Me: Are you a doctor now? Just let it be. And Hey! (I said shouting at Wilson.)

Wilson: Ye-yes!

Me: Don't you ever call my NayNay yours again or else you will see worse than this. Get me!!

Wilson: Ye-e-s. (He then went away. Luckily nobody was outside the school yet or else I would have been in hot soup.)

Shennie: Lenti, what in the world just happened now? (She was now asking too many questions.)

Violet: Yes, who beat him like that. No normal person does that.

Shennie: Who came here when we turned around? I can't believe you fooled us Lenti, it wasn't even worth it.

Me: Stop! I didn't fool anyone, I don't know how this happened to him. He even told you that I didn't do anything. Maybe he's being punished for his evil deeds. (I didn't know what to tell them about the beast.)
