Shennie POV

Dad opened the front door. The room was dark, and it was just perfect.

Dad: Rorbetto !!(Violet's father.). We are here now. (Dad said all worried.)

Mom: We came as fast as we could. Why is it dark in here! (My mom was afraid of the dark, it has been like that since her childhood.)

They were panicking now. This was going to be one hell of a night. As we stood at the door........

Screams: SURPRISE!!!!! (They turned on the lights and the decor was even much more beautiful in real than on the pictures. It was just magnificent and everything screamed riches there. The colours were so great and the flowers made things look so great. The smell of scarlet roses was all over the room, which were my mom's favourite roses.)

Mom and dad were so flabbergasted and mom couldn't stop tears that were already down her cheeks. She has never had such a surprise in her entire life.

Me: Let's get in. It won't look good if the Queen and King stand on the door. (I said dragging them in.)

Cherry: Yes, yes! (We dragged them inside.)

They were given a big frame with a card inside written, "Happy 20th Anniversary to A & D". The photographer took them pictures holding the golden frame. Everyone started to congratulate them. Whilst they went to the bathroom to change their casual clothes, we were waiting for them sitting on the chairs. Mom and dad came back looking all gorgeous. Mom was wearing a mini red gown and dad was in a grey suit with a red bow tie.

The DJ played a song for the couple to dance.

A song by Shain Twain called You are still the one played and my mom and dad hit the dance floor doing their couple's dance. It was so awesome, this was the kind of love I want in the future. The one that lasts for a life time. The, "till death do us part" love. I wish that one day I get someone just like my dad. My dad is a unique man. The type of a man that never gives up on anything. That's why he never gave up on mom. As all this was taking place, I ran to Ellain who was standing besides a table written The Zhloy Family. (I guess that was our table)

Me: Sis!!! (I screamed hugging her.)

Ellain: My big doll! (She hugged me back.)

Me: No! Im not a dole anymore. See how grown up I am right now. (I said turning around for her to see my body.)

Ellain: Haha, whatever kiddo!

Me: How is my mystery brother inlaw. (I said with a naughty smile.)

Ellain: No! Not again Arti. (She said lowering her head.)

Me: Just tell me sis I won't tell anyone. (I pouted my lips.)

Ellain: No, I will tell you when I introduce him to everyone.

Me: But that's a long time. I can even die before that sis. Just tell me and when I die I will die in peace. (I said doing crazy gestures with my hands, with a quizzical smile.)

Ellain: Who told you it's a long time?. (She said with a one sided smile.)

Me: What's that supposed to mean?. (I raised my eyebrows and partially opened my lips.)

Ellain: Just wait for the holiday baby sis. (She patted my head.)

Me: That means in less than 3 months. No! Sis that is too far at least just tell me the name. (Said with a focused gaze.)

Ellain: No I won't but it starts with letter D. (She then went to Paris and Cherry, while she left me guessing all the boys names that start with D. Could it be Daniel?.)

Voice: Who's Daniel? (Oh, I just thought that loud. Anyways, I know the cute little voice, it was Violet.)

Me: Vee!! (I screamed hugging her.)

Violet: I've been searching for you all this while and you are here thinking about Daniel or whatever his name is. (She said folding her arms.)

Me: No, it's not like that twinny. Ellain has a boy-friend and she doesn't want to tell me his name. (I said hugging her.)

Violet: That's unfair, why do these biggies always treat us like kiddos. For goodness sake we are twelve and we will be teenagers soon! (She said giving me a puffy face.)

Me: Imagine! (We just looked at each other and we laughed our lungs out.)

Violet: Any hint about the mystery Mr Guy. (She said with a cocked head. This one is really curious more than me.)

Me: She said his name starts with a D.

Violet: Derek?

Me: Daniel?

Violet: Donnie?

Me: Darel?

Violet: Desmond?

Me: Oh, or is it Drake? (We looked at each other and we bursted like crazy. You know Drake the famous musician. Vee and I are just top fans.)

Jayden then joined us and we were all so happy together. He said that he was still in touch with Princess. She was still in boarding school. We then spoke about everything that's happening in our lives.

Voice: Attention! (It was Mr Ximen who was the MC of this function.)

Him: So as we all know we are gathered here to celebrate Mr and Mrs Zhloy's 20th anniversary. It is a joyous occasion because not every couple is able to stay together for so long. Many people out there are busy finalizing divorces but here our couple have reached 20 good years in marriage, let's give them a round of applause.

Everyone clapped their hands and the party began.

Mom: You cheater, when did you plan this. (She said patting Ellain's shoulder playfully.)

Ellain: Oh, mom how can a Zhloy have a candle light dinner for an annirvesary. Hell No! Mom. (We all laughed.)

The party was so extravagant. We had the best time of our lives. The food was so delicious and the aroma was out of this world. Everyone was called on the dance floor and we all showed our moves. We were dancing to a song by P-Square "Shekini". I am not a good dancer but at least I can move my body 😂. We played games and all of us had a sleep over at Violet's place. Jayden and I slept with Violet in her room. Vee and I slept on a twin bed and Jayden slept on a single bed. All the biggies ( Ellain, Cherry, Paris and Vinneter) slept in Vinneters room. Mom and dad slept in a guest room.

Me: Guys, Are you feeling sleepy. (I whispered.)

Them: No. (They whispered back.)

Me: Let's do something interesting. (We all woke up.)

Them: But what.

Me: Hmmm, what about playing cards? (I said pointing at the cards.)

Jayden: Yes, yes.

Violet: Ok, let's play. First let me take some snacks.

Vee took some snacks and biscuits. We played till mid-night and we ended up sleeping on the floor. The next morning we woke up still on the floor and we freshened up. We went downstairs and we found ourselves all alone. It seemed as if no one had woken up yet so we went to the living room.

Jayden: Let's watch talking cars.

Us: No!? (Vee and I said at the same time disagreeing with Jay.)

Me: No Jay they are boring.

Violet: Yes Jay, let's watch Sofia the First.

Jayden: No! That's unfair. I don't like that cartoon at all. It's for girls.

Me: No it's not, just see your self as Prince James.

Violet: Yes. You are James so now let's watch Sofia. (She said already changing the channel.)

Jayden: Ok, let's watch it, but after that we will watch Alvin and the Chipmunks right?

Me: Yea! I like that one.

We watched the two cartoons and after an hour the biggies came downstairs laughing out so loud. If these 4 are like this there are unstoppable I tell you. We greeted them and they wanted to take over the tv.

Us: Hell, No!!

Violet: We were the first ones to come here so we will rule.

Jay & Me: Yes!

Cherry: We are too grown to watch these cartoons. (She said attempting to take the remote.)

Me: Then go back to wherever you guys are coming from. (I took the remote quickly.)

Vinneter: Let's just endure these cartoons guys.

Ellain: Yes Vin.

Jayden: At least there are some people who are sensible in here. (He said sacarstically.)

Violet: Yes.

Paris: These cuties are too much. (We all laughed covering our faces with our tiny hands.)

We all then watched the cartoons, Vinneter went to their kitchen and brought corn flakes for us. Everyone took a bowel and we all ate laughing at Jayden's jokes. He was really good at this comedian staff. Can you believe this joke he told us. Let me tell you.😂

Everyone was in stitches. We couldn't stop laughing. It was just the perfect morning. Now the parents were awake and we had breakfast together. We ate lots of food and we ate some that we left yesterday in the fridge. After breakfast we all thought of doing a little something before we go to our homes. Everybody dressed herself in a swimming suits and bikini's and the men who were Paris's dad, Violet's dad, my dad and little Jayden, wore their shorts and t-shirts. We went to the pool at the backyard of Violet's house. The pool was so big and it was divided, there was kid's pool and adult's pool. We all had fun there, surrounded with all the people that I love and who loves me back was such an amazing feeling.

What a perfect weekend I just had. Our families have become even much more stronger now. We made a pact that we will have gatherings like these every once in a while. The next morning it was a Monday and Ellain woke up early in the morning and drove off to school. Dad bought her a car when she passed her 'A' Level with flying colours. I began to think that this intelligence thing ran in our veins and it was by blood. I woke up early to just say goodbye to her. When I came back to sleep again I couldn't find any sleep so I just thought about that incident that happened on Friday. When I got married to Lenti. It was so great, I don't know why I am even thinking about marriage I am only 12 for goodness sake. I tried to ignore it but the visions kept on coming back to me. As I was having this visions, something changed in it. I saw my gown with blood stains at the front. The blood kept on staining my gown and it was now all red. The flowers I was holding changed from peach colour to black. The lock on the Eiffle Tower had unlocked on it's own and it dropped all the way from the top of the tower to the groud. There was total silence, that you could even hear a nail drop. Then someone just screamed, "No!!..... That's when I snapped out of it. I was sweating and shivering when I came back to reality. I can't believe this, no it was just a mere vision. I ignored all that and I went to bath. The " what if" facts kept running in my mind. What if this vision come true? What if I am going crazy? What if God is the one showing me these visions so that I could be ready for what my future holds? MXM, this is so frustrating.

I was now ready to go to school. My dad dropped me at school. We had our assembly and our classes before break time. After a while the siren rang and Vee and I went to the DH. We found Lenti and Wilson already there.

Us: Hy guys. (We said sitting down.)

Them: Hie girls. (They smiled.)

Me: Let's eat. (I said putting my lunch box on the table and Vee did the same.)

Lenti: So how was the party?

Us: Awesome! (It came out with so much enthusiasm in our voices.)

Wilson: Ey, we can see that already. With all those cute smiles, I think it was so magnificent.

Lenti: Only if you had invited us too.

Me: No! I mean you know that's impossible right? You meeting my family. Hell No! (I said blinking abnormally.)

Lenti: Woa woa, take it easy Miss. You will have a heart attack at this age. I was just joking but it won't do any harm remember I once met your mom. (He said with a smirk on his face.)

Me: It was different back then Lenti.

Lenti: What changed now. (He said raising his eyebrows. To tell the truth I don't even know what changed but he just can't meet my parents yet.)

Me: Hmm, a lot. Now stop asking me silly questions. (I was avoiding any more questions that I can't answer.)

Lenti: Ok, ok . (He raised his hands.)

The lunch was perfect. We were now on our way home and we waited for Wil and Vee to first go after that Lenti escorted me just like he always do.

Lanton POV

I spent my weekend with my mom and on a Sunday we had a visit at Kay's school. We went there and I almost didn't recognise my baby sis. She was all grown in just a month and was all chubby now. She looked a lot like dad and I looked a lot like my mom. When I had that Shennie's parents were going to have their 20 th anniversary I felt so hurt, not because of her parents but because of mine. These are the kind of parents I needed in my life, the type that stays together till they are old and grey. I know that I visit my father every festive holiday, but that's not enough. It's not even a bit close to being enough. Kay and I need love from both parents. I know my mom gives me so much love but there's a certain time in life I just miss my father's love. Why did they divorce in the first place? Was divorce the only option they had left with? There are people called Marriage Counsillors darn it, didn't they know that?

If only parents knew how much it affects us as kids when they separate, then they will never do that in their lives. I just advice all the parents to just see marriage counsillors before they jumb into a divorce. Divorce must be the last thing on their minds. Giving up is never an option. Anyways I went to see Kay and everyday she's becoming the exact copy of dad. Her brown bright eyes, her point nose, her curved small lips and even her ears. I just saw dad in her, if only she knows her father in person?

"He's a kidnapper! A murderer! A human trafficker! A killer! He's the devil himself!!!!! ". I woke up to this dream of a screaming sweet voice naming that man all these names. I was sweating and breathing heavily. I was never the kind of a person to get nightmares or these kind of dreams. But I wonder why this dream was haunting me, this is the third time I am having this dream. Who is the lady screaming and sobbing so sweetly? Who is the man she was refering to? Why is the voice so familiar? All these questions were running uncontrollably in my mind. I really don't believe in dreams but this one has got something to do with the reality. I just had that feeling.

Anyways I woke up got dressed and my mom and I went to school. After the siren for going home rang Wilson and I went to take the girls. We found them packing their bags and the mean girls were getting out of the class. They just looked at us and walked away. I think that now they understood Shennie and Violet very well. We then exited the school, Wilson and Violet went home and I accompaned Shennie. This was now becoming a usual routine. I just got pleasure from doing this for Shennie and I didn't care less if my mom got suspicious about all this. She keeps secrets from me after all, till now I am still struggling to find out the secret behind her sudden visit to SA. I won't ever give up, something in me tells me that there is more to that story than the one she told me.

*3 Months Later*

Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks amd months has passed so quickly than I expected. Shennie was growing to be this pulchritadinous girl that I couldn't get my mind off. I don't know why but nowadays I don't even want to see any boy closer to Shennie. I don't want her talking to any boy I don't know. I am over protective over her. Sometimes she complains about that but I just can' t stand it. I became so furious if she smiles or even say hie to another boy. I just want her to be my friend and no one else's. The past 3 months were just wow. I can't explain how happy I was those months. School life was treating me good.

Shennie and I argued here and there but there was never a night I went to sleep being angry at her. Even when I was the one who was wrong she always apologises first. I feel guilty when she does that, but the other half of me feels so special and respected, it only made me like her even more. Wilson and I were now the best buddies but he can never be like Alvin. Alvin was just my forever best buddy and I was looking forward to spending this holiday with him.

Tomorrow, we are going to close schools and I'm not even this slightest happy about it. I won't be seeing Shennie that often and there will be no more drama from Shennie and the girls in my class. The girls in my class wanted me to be their friend so bad but Shennie just came and ended it all at once. The girls would argue with Shennie but she never cared at all. They ended up admitting the fact that as long as Shennie was here, I wasn't ever going to be their friend. Some would creat drama here and there but Violet was also there to put everyone in their places. The exams we wrote were good, I was studying at nights so that I pass. I wanted to leave a good impression on Shennie. This was the only way to show her how capable I am.

I woke up to that dream again. I've been having this dream for so long now and it is starting to scare me. Why can't she just tell me who he is? I always wake up when she tries to tell me who the man is. The man is my what? I simply can't understand. MXM!

I woke up, got ready for this great day and I was positive that I passed the exams. My mom came up to my room looking all beautiful with her black hair with blonde colour at the ends, wearing a beautiful knee length dress with a blazer on top and black heels.

Mom: Are you ready baby! (She said walking into my room, I was in the bathroom.)

Me: Yes mom Im done now let me just adjust my tie! You are looking so beautiful by the way. (I said giving her a flashing smile.)

Mom: Haha, I'm trully flatters. (She blushed and we both laughed out so loud that even grandpa would hear us downstairs.)

I finished dressing up and then we went to school.
