In the castle of Cardonia, Eloisa growled because all of the castle staff, maids, guards ordered her to call the royal doctor. She can't believe it, the lower class on the castle were ordering the highest on them!
Eloisa sighed thinking she had no choice but to obey. They want the royal doctor to come and check his brother.
Everyone was really worried, the king was getting weaker and weaker every day.
As expected, the doctor came as soon as possible.
"Goodness, if I'm not mistaken the king's illness was the same as the queen." the doctor said.
"Really, so your also the one who checked the former Queen Helen. Please doctor, is there anyway my brother will be healed?" she asked in a worried voice.
"I think yes." the doctor reached for his bag, and search for a remedy.
He gave Eloisa an elixir, "This shall do the trick. Twice a day daily." he reminded the duchess.
Luna was in the doorway of his father's room, peeking inside and heard everything.
Poor father, she thought. She can't resist of not worrying, even though she hated him, he is still her father, a father she'd known.
Luna heard enough of her aunt's conversation with the doctor inside. She left the room sadly.

As the doctor left the castle, Eloisa noticed the king's eyes were open, he has awakened, she poured another warm water on his teacup and offered it to him. "More tea brother. It will help to warm your body."
He had no choice but to accept it. While he sipped his tea, Eloisa seated on a chair near him.
"Brother, I'm just thinking. Because your ill and you cannot handle the kingdom in that situation, we need a new temporary ruler."
Cornelius stared at her. "Who do you think then should take my place?" he asked.
Eloisa pretend to think and for a second she flicked her fingers. "How about me, you can make me a queen until your healed."
The king nearly choked.
Her eyebrows narrowed, "Come on, you can't possibly think Luna should take your place, right? She's still fifteen, she's still young to be queen."
He sighed, "You have a point." he soothed his beard.
The sentry readied his feathered pen and a piece of paper, and waited for the king's words.
"I, King Cornelius hereby proclaim Duchess Eloisa to be queen until I can resume my duties."
Cornelius stamped the royal seal below his proclamation, as the sentry gently took the queen's crown and reached it to the duchess.
Eloisa gleefully took it and putted it on top of her head. All her life, she had waited for this day to happen. Queen Eloisa, so pleasant for her to hear.
"I hope I made a right decision, Eloisa." he said.
"You made a right choice. Now, excuse me I have a lot to do."
