45- "A walk along the beach."

"I want to bury myself under a hole, right this instant." Ayu said as she folded her knees to her chest and buried her face on it. She had woken up just a minute ago, only to find herself living under a nightmare.

Events of the previous night began flashing her mind, giving her one shock after the other. She recalled that she went to the party hall with everyone. Lynda and Ashima both insisted her to sing since they haven't heard her for a long while. So she began singing one song after the other while everyone cheered for her. They too joined her later on. After that everything was starting to become blurry as she was beginning to feel the effects of the alcohol inside her.

But of course she recalled bits of what happened. She was dancing until a certain guy joined her dance. He was talking something about himself but she was too drunk to care. Ayu admitted that she wanted to enjoy herself and forget about all her worries for a short while, which is why she didn't minded dancing with a man she barely knew. He had his hands around her waist and they were laughing on nonsensical things. She couldn't help but feel guilty. How could she let her guard down like that?

Especially in front of Jamie.

The one person she didn't want to show her vulnerable side to. 'How could I? Where did I leave my common sense? Damnit, how could I behave like this?' She thought and instantly got up from her bed.

She was beginning to recall everything while brushing her teeth. Him carrying her behind his back... Her taking in his body scent which she had to admit was good... Her kissing his neck and ears... That was just the beginning. What she couldn't believe was how she could just CHANGE herself in front of him like it was nothing. What's more? He even helped in putting on her night clothes. The worst part was she couldn't even imagine what Jamie might be thinking right now. Knowing him, she bet he would be laughing to himself taking in the glory for what happened last night. She felt humiliated.

Leaving Lynda behind, she went through the corridor to take some fresh air as her head was starting to ache. She stopped in front of Jamie's room debating whether to knock the door or not. She was mad at him even though there wasn't a real reason to be. She was just deciding to stay away when the door opened itself making her curious.

So she went inside not being aware of the fact that Jamie was right behind the door hiding in the little corner. Jamie had seen her passing by the corridor from his window earlier. He was very much expecting her to come after what happened last night. He just knew. This shall be fun. He thought.

He cleared his throat. "Looking for someone, aren't we Miss Dutta?"

Ayu turned around to find him standing between the back of the door and the wall. She was about to say something in defense when her face fell at the mere sight of him.

Ayu shrieked. "Wear something first, you pervert." She yelled and covered her face with her hands feeling awfully embarrassed. He wasn't wearing anything except a towel that he had wrapped around his waist. Ayu noticed earlier that his hair was wet meaning he had just finished bathing. A crazy co-incidence indeed.

"Aww, come on sunshine." Jamie fake pouted as he pulled her hand away from her face. "I'm just returning the favor for what you showed me last night. It was totally worth it." He smirked.

She couldn't believe at what he just said. She knew exactly what he was talking about. "That was... it was a mistake. I didn't knew you were there when I was changing myself." She said hesitantly.

"Oh, really?" He raised a brow and took a step closer. "I clearly remember what you said... about me liking it when you nibble my ear. One simply cannot say that without being aware, you know." He said, his voice husky. "And you even said-"

"Okay, stop, stop!" Ayu shook her head and took a step back. "I was only drunk, I wasn't in my right state of mind. Stop bothering me." She said loudly trying to distract herself from staring at his almost perfect muscles and chest that moved slightly due to him breathing. The moment she saw him bare chested she knew she wanted to dig her fingers on it. "Oh God, what am I thinking? Please, please wear something." She begged inside her mind.

"Is there something wrong Miss Dutta? Your face is red. You're not down with fever, right?" Jamie teased and even touched her forehead, pretending to care. Ayu flinched at his touch.

"I'm totally fine. Now will you please EXCUSE ME?!" Ayu said saying the last bit out loud. She was about to leave but caught Jamie staring at her in a weird way. "What?" She asked rudely.

Jamie gave an evil laugh. "I noticed something from last night-" He said while leaning his head to her height. His eyes travelled down from her face to her breasts. "Your boobs have gotten bigger." He whispered with a smug.

Ayu's jaw dropped at his words. How could he say that? There's a limit to jokes and more ever we aren't in a relationship anymore. Doesn't he realize that? Ayu thought and pushed him away from her. "I'll get you for this." She challenged and walked out of his room while he continued to laugh clearly enjoying her frustration.

On her way, Ayu realized that she had indeed touched his chest when she was pushing him away. "Great, just great!!" She muttered in annoyance.

Ayu blamed Ashima for opening the door last night. If she haven't done that then Ayu wouldn't have gone out and she would have been spared from all the embarrassment she was going through right now.

To add to her misery Jamie along with Zen joined the girls for breakfast in her bedroom.

"And what is HE doing here?" Ayu hissed irritably.

"Shh Ayu! You're making it awfully obvious." Lynda shushed her.

"Too bad, it seems that I'm not wanted here. Guess I'll take my leave before someone burns me from their killer stare." Jamie said with a hideous smile and got up to leave but Lynda stopped her and insisted him to join their breakfast.

Throughout their breakfast Jamie was constantly giving mischievous looks to Ayu, adding fuel to the fire. Now she was beyond frustrated. Jamie on the other hand was enjoying this more than ever. He wondered if he was a masochist because he liked seeing Ayu angry especially if he was the reason behind it.

Jamie got a bit disappointed when breakfast was almost over but Lynda unknowingly saved him when she ordered some pastries.

Jamie was about to have another bite of his pastry when he saw Ayu standing next to him with a big evil smile on her face. Before he could think about anything else, Ayu took his whole pastry and smashed it right into his face. She continued to rub it on his face while Jamie gasped in shock, trying to remove her hand. Everyone burst out laughing at the pitiful sight of him.

"No need to thank me pal. I know you enjoyed it." Ayu smirked at him enjoying her sweet revenge.

Jamie's face was covered with cream and chocolate. He was about to wipe his face from his hands when Zen stopped him. "Before that, say cheez!" He grinned and took a quick snapshot of him.

"Don't do that Zen." Jamie said but he was laughing afterwards. For some strange reason he wasn't that angry which surprised Ayu. He then wiped off some cake from his finger and licked it enjoying the taste. "This is good. Hey Ayu, care to lick my face. I know you'll like it. Come on, don't be shy." He mocked, bringing his cream filled finger to her face.

"Are you serious?" Ayu frowned taking a step back.

"Totally serious." Jamie said making a fake serious face which earned another laugh from the others.

"Asshole." Ayu cursed and was about to vent her frustration when Lynda interrupted.

"I wonder what really happened between the two of you last night. It got noisy in my bedroom afterwards, I couldn't even sleep properly." Lynda teased and both of them fell silent.

"Your faces are telling me that something did happen." Ashima giggled.

"I guess, I can say the same to you and Zen. I didn't see you coming out from his room until this morning Ash." Lynda said exchanging looks between Ashima and Zen while they looked elsewhere.

Lynda ended up having the last laugh. "Gosh! You should see your faces. Am I that bad at teasing you guys?" Lynda chuckled and everyone else nodded in agreement.

"You just wait Lynda. I, no sorry we will surely have our revenge on you someday and pay you back for all the sneaky comments you made till now." Ayu smugged and everyone agreed.

"Well, I would like to see you all try." Lynda challenged.

Afterwards they joined Lynda's friends and went for today's trip together.

At one time, Ayu was standing at one of the stalls buying coconut water when the Shashi guy, with whom she danced with last night walked besides her.

"Make that two coconut water please." Shashi said to the lender and passed a genuine smile towards Ayu. She gave a small smile in return.

Ayu took the first coconut water and began to drink slowly, mentally praying for the guy to walk away already. Unfortunately he didn't leave since he was waiting to start a conversation with her.

"My real name is Shashank not Shashi. Thought I should make that clear to you." Shashank said which made Ayu laugh even when she didn't wanted to.

"Sorry. Its just that particular name sounds so funny. Don't you get angry at your friends when they call you." Ayu couldn't help but ask.

"I do actually, but in a way I got used to it." He sighed and then faced her. "By the way, you danced and sang really well yesterday. I hope you slept well." He said politely.

"Yeah I did, thanks to my friend who uh, helped me." Ayu answered hesitantly talking about Jamie. It felt weird to label Jamie as a 'friend' when she knew she could never think of him exactly in that way.

They talked for sometime discussing about their personal interests and life in general without going deep. Ayu realized that Shashank wasn't as bad as she thought him to be but at the same time she made sure to show him that she wasn't interested in him.

Somewhere not so far away, Lynda and Ashima were watching those two with curiosity.

"He sure is making his move. That creep. Doesn't he know that she's going to be-" Ashima commented making a face.

"Nah, he doesn't and don't call him a creep when you don't know him. He's a nice person." Lynda said. Just then they noticed Jamie passing by. Ashima and Lynda shared a devious smile.

"You know what Lynda? I think they make a good couple." Ashima said loud enough for Jamie to hear.

"I agree. Atleast Ayu looks comfortable talking to him... Oh Jamie you're here as well. What do you think about them?" Lynda acted along trying her best not to laugh.

Jamie shrugged. "How do I know? She can be with whoever she wants to. Her life, her choice. It's none of my business anyway." Jamie said indifferently but the girls could sense his frustration when he said that.

"Do you smell something funny Ash?" Lynda asked pressing her own nose with her finger.

"Yeah, I think its called jealousy." Ashima smiled from ear to ear. They both looked at Jamie and giggled.

"Seriously?" Jamie rolled his eyes. "You guys are taking this joke way too far." He said and took one look at Ayu before walking away.

"It's completely normal to get jealous over your ex you know. If you want, I can get rid of Shashank for you." Lynda said behind him.

"Do whatever you want. I don't care." He waved his hand without looking back at them and soon disappeared from their sight. Lynda, Ashima laughed behind him hideously.

At 3 pm everyone returned to the resort fatigue visible in their faces after goofing around and shopping. Everyone feel asleep within minutes as they decided to go out after getting some rest.

Lynda woke up two hours later. Ashima and Ayu were still asleep. She ordered a hot coffee for herself and went to the spacious balcony that was at the end of the floor they were staying at. Their resort was very close to the beach so one could view the sea side in front of the balcony. She stood holding a cup of coffee between her palms while covering the bottom of her cup with a napkin since the coffee was hot. She watched the movements of the sea waves and began to reminisce the events of today and yesterday. She was glad that she chose to come here with her friends but a part of her felt bad that it would be all over tomorrow when they'll return back to Delhi. "What a pain!" She mumbled to herself and sighed.

"What pain?" Lynda heard a familiar voice from behind which took her by surprise. She turned back to face the person.

"And what you might be doing here?" Lynda furrowed her eyebrows at him.

"That's rude. Do I need permission to come here?" He pointed out and stood besides her watching the front view. "Where are we planning to go next?" Came his question.

Lynda had a mischievous smile on her face and Zen understood that she had planned something strange again. He raised a brow at her but she spoke first.

"There's nothing for you guys to worry about. It's just a little plan I have in mind. Now listen very carefully-" Lynda said and began to recite her plan to Zen.

"We are going to go out in a short while except for Jamie and Ayu. We will leave them alone without letting them know. Plan is, you're going to stay with Jamie while Ash will stay with Ayu. You guys will have to keep them busy by bringing snacks or anything you can think of. Others will be on their way outside the van. When we will get ready we'll message you two. You can make an excuse like you are going to grab a drink or something while they wait for you hopelessly. See, as simple as that. Also this would be a short trip so we'll return back soon. Just pray that they don't come out while you two make your leave." Lynda explained starting to feel excited already.

Zen was excited to hear this as well but he couldn't find a concrete reason as to what those two will achieve from getting some private time alone. "It's a good plan but seriously Lynda... What are you trying to do? First you deliberately made their plane seats next to each other and now this. Can't you see that there's no point. This is not a freaking movie or some kind of fantasy, okay." He said getting anxious.

Lynda took another sip of her hot coffee and rested her back against the railing of the balcony. "I'm aware of it Zen. Honestly, even I think its stupid. It's not like I'm doing this to bring them together nor I'm hoping for anything else-" She trailed off looking at the ground and twitched her lips a little. "But a little push wouldn't hurt, now would it? I think that there might be a few things unresolved between them so I'd figured I offer them some space. They can talk things through or maybe get a proper closure for the sake of last time, whatever they want to do, its upto them. In the end, I'm just doing what I feel like doing as always."

Zen chuckled. "You're amazing in a weird way, you know."

"Am I supposed to take that as a compliment or a comment?" Lynda narrowed her eyes.

"More like a compliment you can say." Zen smiled

They were silent for a moment simply watching the ocean until Zen remembered something. "Speaking of unresolved issues... I know it's stupid to say this right now, but-" He hesitated a bit before speaking, "I got to know that you used to like me, back in college."

Lynda's eyes widened for a second before making a face. "I'm going to crush that Ashima... like this." She gritted her teeth while crushing the empty paper coffee cup with her hands. "I told her not to tell you." She mumbled.

"Oh no, you don't. You will not say or do anything to her." Zen warned in a teasing way. "So what exactly you liked in me?"

Lynda gave him a sarcastic smile. "And what do you see in Ashima? Don't ask such stupid questions." Lynda said annoyingly. She didn't feel like talking about this when there was no point. She is already over him.

Zen sighed. "It's just that I don't understand what you saw in me so I'm just curious."

"I can tell you what qualities I like in you but can't explain the reason behind it. I wondered myself: Why I liked you? Why I was thinking about you? You never looked at me that way even once and blah, blah, blah! Well, that was way in the past so I'm not even interested because there's actually no answer to it. Just like there's no answer to things that happened to you, to my friends, to people I know. No use pondering over things you'll never find exact answers to." Lynda said getting nostalgic.

"Hmm... I'm sorry." Zen said, his voice low.

"Huh! Why?"

Zen rested his arms on the railing and looked in front. "I guessed the possibility of you liking me but wasn't sure. I kind of distanced myself from you at one point of time. You did the same when you stopped coming over to us during breaks. I guessed something was bothering you but I was hesitant to approach you. You must have felt lonely and hurt but I was being... ah, well... Never mind. I just wanted to apologize for that." He shook his head nervously.

"Oh my Gosh!" Lynda snapped looking over her wrist watch. "We've been wasting so much time. It's getting late. You know what you have to do right? Okay, let's go." Lynda said quickly and started walking with Zen following behind her. She wanted to say that there was no reason for Zen to apologize but on the other hand she didn't want to. She was kind of glad that he said it. He even complimented her for being amazing. If it would have been the old Lynda, she'd be doing a happy dance in her mind by now. At present, she just felt normal.

Zen became worried thinking if he possibly said something to offend her. He didn't thought about confronting her like this beforehand. It was out of instinct. They headed downstairs where others were there. He sensed the awkward silence between them. Maybe he should tell her to just forget about what he just said.

Just then Lynda stopped walking and turned around, looking straight at him. "Thank you, Zen." She said with a smile.

Zen felt relieved and smiled back at her. "Your always welcome."

...

"Why do I get the feeling that everyone has left us behind?" Jamie asked Ayu, getting suspicious. They were on their way to the reception hall. Both were waiting for their respective friend who had told them to wait but they weren't back yet.

They asked the receptionist of the hotel who informed that Zen, Ashima along with many others have already left five minutes ago.

"We- have- been- tricked." Ayu said slowly still finding it hard to believe.

They both pointed at each other realizing something. "Lynda!" They said it together.

"Damn you!" Jamie muttered and called her number while Ayu dialed Ashima's number.

"Are they for real?" Ayu gasped when she found out that her number was on reject list.

Jamie did the same but no avail. His number was on reject list too. "I'm impressed." He laughed.

"There is nothing amusing about getting impressed over something so stupid. Do you happen to have anyone else number?" She asked Jamie referring to Lynda's friends.

"Nope, you check. You might have Shashank's number right?"

"Huh! Why would I have his number?" Ayu asked puzzled.

Jamie made a small 'O' with his lips. "I just thought you might have... since you were talking to him and all." He rubbed his neck.

"For God sake, I was only talking to him. Ugh! Other girls were teasing me too. Is it a big deal to have a normal conversation with a guy?" Ayu said, anger evident in her voice.

"Alright, calm down. I was only asking. Of course there's nothing wrong with talking." Jamie said trying to soothe her and looked outside. "Let's go to the beach." He suggested and she agreed.

They walked over to their way towards the nearest shore. It was evening and one could see the sun starting to set below the horizon. It was a small beach with a few shops so there weren't many people around.

"I don't get why Lynda did this. Don't tell me she's hoping for us-" Jamie started to say but Ayu didn't let him finish.

"She isn't that naive. Maybe she just wanted to buy us some time." Ayu said and gave a sneaky smile. "Or maybe I could grab this chance to ask you about Raghav."

"Oh no, not again. I don't want to ruin my precious holiday by talking about that worthless brat." Jamie rolled his eyes.

"Pretty please." Ayu pleaded.

"No means no. Some other time." Jamie waved his hand in front of her.

He says that every single time. "Meanie, cowardly bastard-" Ayu tried to provoke him.

"I'm not going to be provoked by you. You're free to place as many curses you want." Jamie stated proudly.

"I hate you." Ayu mumbled while pouting although she didn't mean it.

If only she knew how those three words affected Jamie whenever she said it, even as a joke. He didn't minded her using other slang words like the ones she said right now because he knew she didn't mean it. But saying 'I hate you' felt even worse than any curse to him. He was always reminded of that night when she said it while breaking up. They were etched deep into his heart, since that time.

Ayu sensed his silence. 'Maybe he's feeling uncomfortable since we are alone like this.' She thought and decided to divert his attention. "So, are you seeing someone?" She asked and instantly regretted asking him but her curiosity got the better of her.

Jamie looked at her amused. "Did anyone say something about me?" He threw another question back at her.

"I heard something." Ayu said looking elsewhere. She remembered clearly what Zen had said to her when she asked. "That you were seeing someone, a while back. She is your old school friend. You two were hanging out and-"

Jamie started laughing loudly while clutching his hands to his stomach. "I'm assuming you must have heard that from Zen. That bastard. He was only teasing you Ayu. I thought you realized but I forgot that you're dumb as well." He mocked.

"Hey, I only asked you because I wanted to confirm it, okay. Ayu defended.

"Okay, but what he said wasn't completely a lie though." He said and noticed Ayu's surprised face. "She was back in town so I befriended her for old time's sake. My friends thought that I was finally seeing another woman but that wasn't the case. We were just hanging out as friends and nothing else. I'm very much single and proud. Yeah, now I remember... Zen visited Australia around that time so that's why." Jamie said the last bit more to himself.

"I see." Ayu said and started looking here and there wanting to ask something else but couldn't find the courage to.

"Spit it out. I know you're just etching to ask me." Jamie encouraged.

"Um! Well, you mentioned something about Laura earlier. Di-did you meet her?" She asked nervously. 'Oh God! I sound like a jealous freak. I'm just asking because I'm curious that's all.' She reassured herself.

Jamie wanted to laugh at her face but decided not to. He had teased her enough for today. "It was only once though and a pure co-incidence at that. We bumped into each other at a fair I was attending. We spend the entire day catching up and all as friends that is. Funny thing is, she asked me about you but never once mentioned that she actually met you." Jamie said while emphasizing 'as friends' so that she could understand that there really wasn't nothing more to it. Ayu nodded to his response.

"Anything else Miss Dutta?" Jamie battered his eyes at her.

"Nothing else." Ayu made it clear. "Now what?" She frowned when she caught Jamie staring at her in amusement.

"Is it a big deal to have a normal conversation with a woman? I guess not." Jamie smirked and Ayu's mouth fell open. He had thrown her words back at her.

"It's not what you think it is." Ayu defended.

"I never assumed anything." Jamie teased and started laughing. Ayu hit him lightly on his back but wasn't angry at him. It was probably because she was getting to see his brighter side instead of his cold, sulky stance that she saw days ago.

They walked further towards the beach coming in contact with the cold waves of the ocean. The sand was slipping under their feet as they walked. Even though Jamie and Ayu were walking in silence they weren't bothered by it in the least. In fact, they only wished to remain like this in each other's presence for a while longer. They were somewhat happy but were too scared to admit it. Ayu took one look at the scene around her.

The sun setting behind the ocean... The sound of the water crashing against her legs... The cool breeze that ran past her body... Her and Jamie standing in the middle of the beach like this.

It was as if she had returned to that place and time from two years ago when they were in the same place like this in Australia. She recalled how Jamie had carried her in his arms and dropped her in the ocean. They were playing, kissing, having fun, forgetting the world around them. She could literally hear herself and Jamie laugh as she began to reminisce that time. It send her chills down her spine. That time was magic in itself. She thought.

"Hey look out." Jamie said suddenly and Ayu snapped out from her daze. The next thing she received was a big splash of sea- water which was thrown by none other than Jamie.

"What was that for, you dumbass? Here take this." Ayu said and quickly splashed water in front of him in full force leaving no room for Jamie to counter attack her.

Jamie managed to distance himself a bit, recovering from the impact. "You looked so stupid staring at the sea, like a lost lonely girl, so I thought I should bring some sense into you." He said loudly and grinned.

"Oh thank you so much for that." Ayu said sarcastically and threw another splash while chuckling. Jamie responded to her equally. Just then, a strong gush of wind blew past them and they understood that it was time to head back, since it was getting dark. They walked towards a coconut tree that was in a corner of a shore. Ayu took a step closer, but suddenly lost her balance due to the sand slipping at one part of her feet. Thankfully Jamie saved her before she could fall down completely.

"Woah! Easy there. You're such a klutz Ayu." Jamie said while holding her arms. Ayu mumbled a quick sorry and raised her head, realizing the weird situation they were in. She was a bit relieved when Jamie released her but then he brought her hand to the level of his chest and gripped her fingers with his palm.

They could hear huge ripple of waves as it made its way towards the shore. Their surrounding fell silent, as if time had come to a standstill.

"Do you remember, how I used to hold your hand like this to make you warm? Your hands used to get cold very easily." Jamie said nostalgically while staring at their hands.

"Yeah, I do remember. You always made sure that my hands remained warm, especially during winter." Ayu said, her voice soft and slowly intertwined her hand in his. She couldn't understand why he was suddenly asking about this? Why they were holding their hands? And why none of them were willing to let go when they both knew that this was wrong?

Just being in this position was making her heart race. She had almost forgotten how it was like to feel warm and excited like this. She never felt that with Raghav. How did Jamie managed to make her feel this way was beyond her. When she finally met his gaze, she was lost in his eyes. His intense gaze made her forget how to breathe for a moment.

Somewhere at the back of his mind, a small voice was telling Jamie to run away. He was about to change his mind when Ayu looked up at him and he knew he was a goner right there. That small voice vanished right away and his mind became blank. Her brown eyes looked innocent and yet so sad. For a moment he wanted to wash all that pain away from her.

As if on instinct, he brought his other hand to the side of her face and trailed his fingers along her cheek. Ayu couldn't help but delve herself in his touch. Hastily, she placed her other hand around his back and held on to his shirt. Slowly, Jamie leaned his forehead touching her's.

Ayu realized this and lowered her eyes, feeling nervous. They still didn't let go of their hands. Her breathing was starting to get erratic now. Jamie continued to trail his fingers reaching her neck and stopped right there. He moved his head closing the distance between them while she closed her eyes.

They came closer to the point where their noses were touching.

Ayu raised her head more and now she could feel their breaths slowly becoming one.

Ayu parted her lips as they were about to meet his. 'Are you sure that you should be doing this?' A small voice screamed inside her head and her lips started to tremble.

'No...' She said in response and realized that she had just said it out loud. She sensed Jamie moving away from her and opened her eyes, coming back to reality. When she met his gaze again, her eyes widened. She didn't like the look in his eyes. He was so shocked and hurt that she regretted ever saying no to him. She didn't knew why she rejected it herself. It was as if something had stopped her on purpose.

"Jamie I-" Ayu whispered not knowing what else to say.

"Oops, my bad." Jamie said trying to act casual but was shaken inside. He didn't expected her to stop him but moreover he couldn't believe at what he was trying to do. Was he that desperate? He thought, he threw his emotions away, then why they seem to be resurfacing itself while being with her? This was wrong. They shouldn't be even here like this. It will bring him nothing more than pain and despair and he wasn't willing to let that experience all over again. So he did what he thought was best and walked away, leaving her alone.

Ayu saw him walking further and further away from her. 'Oops, my bad.' She recalled his words. He used to say that at times when he should be apologizing about something but he didn't because he didn't felt sorry about it. She sighed and turned her head, watching the vast sea in front of her, feeling cold and lost... just like the sea itself.

Ayu and Jamie avoided each other for the rest of the night thinking it would be better if they distance themselves for a while. They didn't confronted Lynda either which surprised her. Lynda began to doubt her decision of leaving them alone like that since she noticed their strange behavior.

And just like that their three day stay in Goa came to an end. Thankfully, for both Jamie and Ayu, their seats weren't together this time while boarding back to Delhi. Jamie was seated with Zen on one side while Ayu was seated with Ashima and Aditi (Lynda's friend) on the opposite side. Jamie's eyes shifted over to Ayu only to find her staring back at him at the same time. They both averted their gazes feeling shy.

"Are you still hung over by the fact that you didn't kiss her? Stop sulking already." Zen said with a glint of smile on his face.

"I ain't sulking. Seriously, how did I ever end up telling you about this?" Jamie complained and glanced at Ayu again. She wasn't looking at him this time which made him relieved. 'Don't worry, just three more days and this will all be over.' Jamie reassured himself.

Although both Jamie and Ayu were unaware of the fact that they were already in for more bigger surprises after they reach Delhi.

-----------------------------------------------

Haha! And there will be surprises waiting for them, no I mean drama. Stay tuned.

Also I apologize for the incredibly long chapters. No matter how hard I try they just tend to stay that long.

I hope you liked this chapter and didn't felt disappointed (that they didn't kiss lol) So their trip to Goa is over. Which part did you like the most? Do you think Lynda's plan worked? Vote and Comment everyone.
